4. Investigation of the effect of elastane poliesteryarn production parameters on yarn and fabric properties

Bu çalışmada, elastan içerikli poliester iplik üretim parametrelerinin ipliklere ve bu ipliklerden elde edilen dokuma kumaş özelliklerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla filament sayısı, elastan iplik numarası, elastan çekim oranı ve puntalama işleminde kullanılan düze tipi değiştirilerek 36 farklı elastan içerikli poliester iplik ve bu ipliklerden sabit üretim şartlarında dimi 3/3 örgü kullanılarak 36 farklı çeşit dokuma kumaş üretilmiştir. Üretim parametrelerin iplik özelliklerine etkisini araştırmak amacıyla iplik lineer yoğunluğu, punta sayısı, punta kalıcılığı, iplik kopma mukavemeti ve kopma uzaması değerleri; üretim parametrelerinin kumaş özelliklerine etkilerini inceleyebilmek için ise kumaş mukavemet, uzama ve konfor özellikleri standartlara uygun bir şekilde test edilmiştir. Testler sonrasında elde edilen değerler SPSS istatistik programında değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda poliester iplik filament sayısının, elastan numarasının, çekim oranının ve puntalama işleminde kullanılan düze tipinin iplik mukavemetine, punta sayısına, punta kalıcılığına değerlerine etkisinin istatistiksel olarak önemli olduğu görülmüştür. Kumaş kopma mukavemeti ve uzama değerleri filament sayısı ve elastan numarası arttıkça artmıştır. Konfor özellikleri incelendiğinde filament sayısı ve elastan numarası arttıkça su buharı geçirgenlik ve termal iletkenlik değerleri artmış, hava geçirgenliği değerleri azaldığı sonucuna varılmıştır. In this study, the effects of elastane-containing poliester yarn production parameters on yarns and woven fabric properties obtained from these yarns were investigated. For this purpose, 36 different types of woven fabrics were produced by changing the filament count, elastane yarn count, elastane draw ratio and the nozzle type used in the centering process, 36 different poliester yarns with elastane content and 36 different woven fabrics using twill 3/3 weave from these yarns under constant production conditions. In order to investigate the effect of production parameters on yarn properties, yarn linear density, number of centers, center persistence, yarn breaking strength and breaking elongation values; In order to examine the effects of production parameters on fabric properties, fabric strength, elongation and comfort properties were tested in accordance with the standards. The values obtained after the tests were evaluated in the SPSS statistical program. As a result of the study, it was seen that the effect of poliester yarn filament number, elastane number, elastane draw ratio and the nozzle type used in the centering process on the yarn strength, number of centers, and center persistence values were statistically significant. Fabric tensile strength and elongation values increased with increasing filament number and elastane number. When the comfort properties were examined, it was concluded that as the filament number and elastane number increased, water vapor permeability and thermal conductivity increased, and air permeability decreased.

6. Puntalama İşleminde Üretim Parametrelerinin ve Filament Özelliklerinin İplik Punta Sayısına Etkisi.

- Abstract
The aim of this study is to evaluate many parameters in intermingling process and to determine effects of these parameters on the number of nips of yarn as statistically. For this purpose, POY (Partially Oriented Yarn) filaments which have two different linear densities (122, 283 dtex) and two different filament numbers (68, 100) in cross section were used as raw material. POY bobbins were intermingled by selecting three different speed levels (150, 300, 450 m/min) and three different pressure levels (3, 5, 6 bar). Number of nips of intermingled yarns has been tested and this feature was evaluated as response (dependent) variable. Linear densities of POY, number of filaments in cross section, intermingling speed and intermingling pressure were taken as independent variables. General Factorial Design was applied by using Design Expert 6.0.1 software package and so effects of selected independent variable on the response variables were evaluated as statistically and results were interpreted. 8. Effects of intermingled yarn surface characteristics on knitted fabric's color parameters

In this research, it is aimed to investigate the effects of intermingled yarns surface structure, caused by difference in number of nips, on the knitted fabrics' color parameters such as lightness (L*), reflectance (R), absorption coefficient / scattering coefficient (K/S) and color difference (?E*). For this aim, filament yarns having different number of nips with 283 dtex linear density and 100 filaments were used for producing the single jersey knitted fabrics. Fabrics were dyed and colors parameters of samples were measured. Results were analyzed by using Realcolor 1.3 software package. As a result of study, it was determined that the R and L* values effected by the changing in nips value and fabric's construction. © 2018, Journal of Textiles and Engineer.Bu çalişmada puntalanmiş ipliklerin punta sayilarindaki değişimin, bu ipliklerden üretilen örme kumaşlarin açiklik-koyuluk (L*), yansima (R), Absorpsiyon katsayisi / Saçilma katsayisi (K/S) ve renk farkliliği (?E*) değerleri üzerinde etkililerinin araştirilmasi amaçlanmiştir. Hemaks HMX 114 marka puntalama makinesinde söz konusu POY bobinleri puntalama işlemine tabi tutulmuştur. Puntalama prosesinde hız üç seviyede (150, 300, 450 m/dk), basınç üç seviyede (3, 5, 6 bar) seçilerek üretim yapılmıştır. Puntalanan ipliklerin kalite özellikleri (punta sayısı, punta düzgünsüzlüğü, punta kalıcılığı, iplik mukavemeti ve uzaması) test edilmiş ve bu özellikler tepki (bağımlı) değişken olarak değerlendirilmiştir. POY inceliği, filament sayısı, puntalama hızı ve puntalama basıncı bağımsız değişkenler olarak alınmıştır.
