This paper considers the main components of national security and focuses on the social and economic components as the two most interconnected among the other components of national security. In the context of digitalization, the social and economic aspects of national security become especially important, as modern society and the economy are increasingly dependent on information technology and digital tools. The key aspects of each of these areas are presented: providing the population with basic cybersecurity skills and the conscious use of digital technologies; development of regulatory mechanisms and technical solutions for the protection of citizens’ personal information; interaction between government, business and the public to protect critical infrastructures from cyber threats; development and implementation of cybercrime strategies to ensure the cybersecurity of society; the use of digital technologies to facilitate citizen participation in electoral processes and decision-making; ensuring transparency and access to public information through digital channels; development of e-commerce and digital financial services to stimulate economic growth; supporting innovation and digitalization to increase competitiveness; ensuring business cybersecurity to prevent leaks of confidential information; protecting financial institutions from cyber threats to ensure the stability of the financial system; providing the workforce with the necessary digital skills and training in the digital economy; development of remote work models and mobile technologies to improve the labor market. Digital security and technological development in the field of economics determine the country’s success in the modern world. Organizations and countries should actively work to improve legislation, develop technology, and raise cyber awareness to effectively counter cyber threats and ensure the resilience of national security.

In the presented publications the main aspects of economic inclusion and the current state of the economy of Ukraine are considered. The components of economic inclusion are defined, namely: 1) responding to economic challenges. The wartime period is accompanied by dramatic changes in the economic sphere, such as the destruction of infrastructure, job losses, interruption of economic ties and other challenges. Economic inclusion in this context lies in the development and implementation of strategies for economic recovery, creating new jobs and ensuring sustainable economic growth. 2) Taking into account the needs of vulnerable groups. Military conflicts can affect different groups of the population unevenly. Economic inclusion requires special attention to the needs of vulnerable groups such as internally displaced persons, military veterans, women and children. Economic inclusion should promote their integration in economic processes, ensuring social protection and equal opportunities. 3) Provision of social stability. Economic inclusion during wartime is also aimed at ensuring social stability. This means creating conditions to reduce inequality, ensure access to resources and services, prevent conflicts and promote a peaceful revival of society. 4) Expanding access to financial resources. During wartime, access to financial services may be limited. Economic inclusion involves promoting increased access to financial resources, allowing for the development of microfinance institutions, creating favorable conditions for lending to small and medium-sized enterprises, expanding access to banking services and financial education. Such peculiarities form the current state of the economic system from the side of its inclusiveness. It should also be noted that the wartime period may require restructuring of the economy in order to restore and maintain sustainable development. Economic inclusion contributes to the creation of favorable conditions for economic restructuring, development of new sectors, support for small and medium-sized enterprises, attractiveness of investments and attraction of external resources. Taking into account the peculiarities of the wartime period, economic inclusion is becoming an important instrument for restoring and building sustainable development. The path to success lies in a harmonious combination of economic measures with the promotion of social justice, the protection of human rights, and the active cooperation of all interested parties.

The publication considers the main features of the formation of the information space of the present day, considers the features of information services and trends in the development of the IT market. The global information technology market is characterized by a high level of competition, which encourages IT companies operating in this market to use all available marketing means in order to withstand the constantly growing competition. In the context of activities in the global information technology market, effective marketing communication activities are of major importance, which is the key to ensuring the competitiveness of an IT company for successful operation in this highly competitive market. It is specified that the IT market is one of the elements of the formation of a modern high-tech market in Ukraine. In a broad sense, IT covers all areas of transfer, storage and perception of information. At this, IT is often associated with computer technology, and this is no coincidence: the advent of computers has brought IT to a new level. Further on, the basis of IT is the technology of processing, storing and perceiving information. The main trends in the development of the IT market have been identified, which include: competence (Ukraine has highly qualified specialists in the field of programming, software testing, data analysis and other related fields); competitiveness (Ukrainian IT companies provide quality services at more reasonable prices compared to developed countries of the West); speed of development (the IT industry in Ukraine is developing rapidly and growing, which makes it possible to be on the way to technological leadership); the presence of a startup ecosystem (Ukraine has an active startup ecosystem that promotes the creation and development of young technology companies); geographical location (Ukraine is in a convenient geographical position for cooperation with Europe and the United States, which makes it easy to enter the world market). It is concluded that one of the key factors for success is to ensure a favorable business climate in Ukraine, which depends on government policy, legislation and infrastructure.

The digitalization of society and of economic processes in general has significantly influenced the formation of the modern labor market, which has led to the emergence of new social needs and necessities for new specialists and new market niches. In the peresented publication, the features of the modern labor market are considered from the point of view of demographic windows and features of the perception of modern generations. Since the beginning of the twentieth century, six generations have been distinguished, at present three generations are most involved in labor relations. Representatives of generation X are used to relying primarily on themselves. The opportunity to be realized, to express this very independence is important for such people also regarding their careers. Representatives of generation X will be more willing to do work that gives space for creativity and breadth of thought. If you do not give them such an opportunity, then they lose interest. For such people, it is important to always have a choice, an open perspective. One of the most notable features of Generation Y is the dependence on knowledge, which they find not in books from libraries, but on Internet resources. This is a generation that loves to learn, because studying for millennials is something interesting and peculiar. What used to be learned exclusively from teachers and tutors becomes easily accessible to the «upsilons». This leads to another feature of this generation – excessive trust in the information provided by online services, especially when there is no censorship. For this generation, self-realization comes to the fore. This is not to say that they are not interested in the family, but career growth still remains in the first place. Generation Z is characterized by the absolute absence of a well-defined life position. Unlike all their predecessors, the «zetas» are not motivated by either money or any career growth. Moreover, they are completely dependent and have constant need of someone to point them out what they should do. They love to learn, quickly acquire new knowledge. Large amounts of information appear of no difficulty for them. «Zetas» are distinguished by their incredible multitasking and creativity. They love to find solutions in difficult situations and solve the most complex problems. Having identified the main features of generations, it can be noted that the formation of the modern labor market depends on many circumstances of the formation of the modern digital world. Thus, this process is significantly influenced by the digitalization strategy implemented by national governments to ensure the competitiveness of national economies. At this, too, a digital economy with a significant focus on inclusiveness can increase the influence of natural monopolies and promote concentration, which in the absence of effective and transparent institutions in society can lead to increased control on the part of the State and subordination of politics to the interests of the relevant elites.

The publication considers the main features of the development of the modern information space and the formation of information technologies, which today are being directly combined with the formation of a risk-oriented system of financial provision. The role of information technologies in society is constant and incessantly extends to further areas of application – science, education, business, transport, communication, public administration, defense, political life, culture, everyday life, etc. However, at the methodological level, some questions arise regarding the identification and adaptation of potential information technologies to ensure positive economic development. An important influence on the development of the world market of IT technology is carried out by non-governmental organizations, in particular, associations of national associations of IT companies – the World Alliance of Information Technologies and Services, as well as others. Thus, the permanent deployment of scientific and technical progress and the impact of globalization on the IT industry determine the need to improve the mechanisms of economic, organizational and legal regulation of the global information technology market. In this direction, the universality of regulatory economic and legal norms of the world IT industry does not always work when used by a separate country as market participant due to the imperfection of its national legislative framework together with the economic and organizational regulators in the information base. At this, the countries that join the process of harmonizing their economic and legal IT regulatory mechanisms with the world standards must implement three important groups of measures: 1) measures in the sphere of information services development, 2) measures for the development of information technologies as such; 3) measures to protect and provision producers of IT products and services. Risk-oriented management in the process of ensuring the development and implementation of information technologies for the enterprise is aimed at ensuring the implementation of the company’s strategy and its sustainable development with integration into business processes and managerial decision-making. The above-described directions of integration of a risk-oriented approach into the activities of enterprise make it possible to specify steps to implement this approach with maximum efficiency for an economic entity.

The article considers the main features of the high-tech sphere and the possibility of trade cooperation therein. Technological progress has completely changed the structure of the modern world economy. Thanks to the technologies, novel activities have been developed, many of which are efficient and highly profitable. A classic example of the impact of the introduction of high technologies in everyday life is the emergence and use of new information technology. Due to the widespread use of new communication technology, the transmission cost of voice, data, text, images, as well as international fees for the transmission of information have sharply decreased. Fast data transfer (e.g. e-mail, via the Internet) and teleconferences have provided economy with modern communication and the ability to do business around the world, allowing to significantly increase the speed of operations and thus receive increased profits. According to the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, trade cooperation in the high-tech sphere can be divided into several directions: IT industry, defense industry, energy complex, aerospace industry. Thus, about 85% of energy and oil and gas equipment is exported during a year. The main export destinations are Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and the UAE. Therefore, energy, oil and gas companies are less susceptible to the crisis in the economy over the past few years. This is due to the fact that the work of enterprises in these sectors is mainly based on long-term contracts, most of which serve projects for the construction of gas pipelines, oil pipelines and the reconstruction of power plants. Such projects continue to be financed by Central Asian countries. Despite some significant successes in such industries as aerospace, energy equipment production, heavy and transport engineering, and some others, the state of the industry in general does not meet the modern requirements of both the domestic and the world economy. First of all, Ukraine lacks a number of high-tech industries that determine export positions. The quality and technological solutions of electronic products, household appliances, agricultural and road-building machines, as well as a number of other goods are significantly inferior to foreign counter-parts. Technological exchange or trade cooperation in the high-tech sphere in a broad sense can be understood almost the entire range of international economic relations, including the purchase and sale of patents and licenses, trade in goods and services.

The publication presents features of the modern mergers and acquisitions (M&A) process. It should be noted that in the modern world, with the growing global competition, aggressive policies of individual market participants, rapid technological changes, financial regulation and the changing role of the State in the economy, there is a need to expand the activities of large companies. The majority of the most successful companies choose the joint mode of development, such as mergers and acquisitions. As a result of mergers and acquisitions, business will grow and become more influential, and not only national governments, but also international economic organizations will not be able to depend on regulation and management. Today, among the leading domestic or foreign economists there is no consensus on the definition of the concepts of «mergers» and «acquisitions», which is explained by the diversity and complexity of the nature of these processes. The main types of these processes have been identified and their characterizations are provided. When researching the processes of mergers and acquisitions of enterprises, their main differences are determined. It is proved that in an ever-changing market, increased competition and well-thought-out and well-made transactions on international mergers and acquisitions can significantly increase the value of companies. At the present stage, international mergers and acquisitions occupy strong positions in the policy of private companies as the main strategic instrument for business development.

The article examines the main features of the risk-oriented system of financial provision, identifies the groups of risks arising in the business environment of the company, and focuses on the possibility of a risk-oriented system of financial provision in the context of globalization changes. Modern technologies play a crucial role in ensuring positive dynamics of social processes and causing structural changes in the social sphere. Recognition of high-techness as the basis of socio-economic development requires the introduction of modern management methods and instruments, including through the development of effective communication strategies for high-tech enterprises. The procedure for organizing internal control, including the duties and powers of the company’s divisions and employees, is determined by both the nature and the sphere of the company’s activities, the peculiarities of the management system. The basic principle should be: everyone be careful and compare labor costs with the results during the control. It must be noted that the organization and evaluation of the internal control system can be carried out with the participation of the company itself and/or external consultant. Control procedures are an integral part of the company’s business processes, and their goal is to exclude (reduce) the likelihood of risks falling into the scope of checkpoints and to link risk factors of business processes to the company’s strategic goals.

The article examines the main features and identifies the main trends in the global M&A market. The modern development of the economy is characterized by the spread of the processes of globalization, and it can be noted that, one way or another, the latest waves of mergers and acquisitions are tightly related to the flow of these processes. The history of mergers and acquisitions processes in the world economy shows that all surges in mergers and acquisitions agreements were and are accounted for periods of structural changes, industrial rises, technological revolutions, significant organizational restructuring of the world economy. Mergers and acquisitions of companies are one of the most important business development instruments in the market economy. The purposes of these processes are often the growth of company and the use of various kinds of synergies, which is manifested in strengthening its impact on markets and improving business efficiency. Most mergers and acquisitions agreements are concluded by industrialized countries, their role is increasing for developing countries. The dynamics of the M&A processes market will largely depend on the ability of companies to enter into large contracts announced either at the end of the past year or earlier this year. Only then it could it be stated that the growth of activity in the mergers and acquisitions market has become a long-term trend. Many experts believe that a new wave of M&A will inevitably lead to an increase in unemployment, and this, in turn, will lead to an aggravation of the social situation and require additional costs from the budget.

The article examines the main global problems of the modern world space, defining the main tendencies of overcoming the crisis and the further path of human development. Globalization indicates the general nature of most processes meaningful to mankind. Modern humanity represents an indivisible system of economic, political, social and cultural ties and interactions, which is significative for the unity of its future destiny. Informatization became the basis of globalization, reflecting the current level of technology development. Global problems are problems affecting all mankind, influencing the course of economic development and social sphere, also ecology and political stability. These problems require international cooperation, since none, even a highly developed State, is able solve them on its own. The number of hungry people in the world has increased over the past few years. Now every ninth person in the world is starving every day, suffering from a lack of nutrition. Both the food scarcity and hunger are among the greatest threats to the overall health of the human population exceeding malaria, tuberculosis or HIV. Responsibility for the planet should begin with responsibility for the country, because the crisis of a separate country complicates the world situation in the political aspect; ecological and resource crises jeopardize environmental equilibrium and complicate the problem of resources on a global scale; an economic crisis leads to social consequences in other countries.

The development of business activities in Ukraine today is influenced by globalization processes, in the conditions of the formation of an information society, the spread of the knowledge economy and a single information space. That is why consideration of modern marketing and logistics instruments, formation of logistic and marketing systems become so relevant. The article discusses the basics of logistics and logistic system. Logistics is seen as a direction of economic activity, which consists in the efficient management of material and the related information and financial flows in the spheres of production and marketing, and which is becoming increasingly demanded in modern conditions in Ukraine. Today, when a logistic system is formed, the enterprise can get the following results: detailed consistency of production and marketing systems; optimizing marketing organizational structures; formation of information provision (accelerating information processing, introducing the latest information technologies, using the best Internet marketing tools); making the best use of human resources; legal provision of the system and the establishment of reliable economic ties between all its participants; absence of disagreements between the interests of the participants in the system or achieving parity on the basis of mutual compromises; continuous improvement of marketing and management decision-making systems in the enterprise.

The article considers the main elements of financial inclusion as parts of the client-oriented marketing and client-oriented approach in the modern system of banking services. In today’s environment, the development of the banking business is inextricably linked to automation, the introduction of the latest technical tools and advanced banking technologies to promote banking products and services to the market, as well as to the search for instruments for increase the attractiveness of banking products, aided by innovation. Financial inclusion nowadays is a kind of instrumentarium for countering the banking and financial isolation. It covers a range of products or services that are both financial and non-financial, accessible to all segments of the population. The use of financial inclusion and client-oriented marketing in a banking institution comes down to targeting and developing elements such as culture (a culture of communication and the internal culture of organization); technology (introduction of modern information and other technologies); employees; processes; clients. Therefore the marketing client-oriented approach suggests the bank’s primary orientation not on its own product, but on the real needs of consumers. That is why a thorough study of the market along with an analysis of the changing tastes and preferences of consumers of banking services are so necessary. A bank employee becomes a seller of financial products. In the process of communication with each client, he is called to identify the specific forms of financial servicing that the client needs, to explain to the latter the necessity and profitability of each settlement.

The article characterizes the importance of formation of the new paradigm for improving the system of management in the context of ensuring economic development and social security. At the same time, the publication specifies that the current social policy in our country is not of a systemic nature, that it has insufficient focus on social security. It is emphasized that efforts to overcome negative results should contribute to formation of the socio-economic stability in the country. There is a need to create a new paradigm for the development of education, whereby the contents and basic orientation of training the personnel, in particular managers, must be subordinated to the worldwide trends of socio-economic, scientific, and cultural development. The basic requirements for managers who, in the opinion of the authors, should have a high level of education, culture and communication, have been disclosed. It has been substantiated that, for this purpose, every educational institution must develop the higher education management. This should be facilitated by intellectualization of the educational environment and transition to the educational standards of a new type. The authors have suggested ways for further improving the system of training the personnel, in particular managers, whose activities would contribute not only to economic growth in the country but to social security as well.
