Objectives The aim of the research was to diagnose the key didactic problems encountered in educating refugee children from Ukraine in Polish schools. Material and methods The research material was obtained using a nationwide online diagnostic survey among teachers teaching refugee children from Ukraine (N=1720). The research tool was a didactic difficulty scale consisting of 12 questions in the form of a five-point Likert scale. Results Statistical analysis showed that cultural issues and language barriers strongly influence didactic difficulties. The main factors complicating the transmission of knowledge in Polish schools are the lack of teachers' competencies to work with linguistically and culturally diverse children and the low motivation of Ukrainian students to learn. The greatest didactic problems concern the diagnosis of the child's knowledge level and special educational needs, as well as the motivation to learn Polish. Conclusions Teachers with highest qualifications had fewer problems with transmitting knowledge and assessing students, but the level of professional advancement did not affect their ability to motivate students and build relationships with their families. The most problems were experienced by teachers of grades I-III, which may be due to the adaptive difficulties of the youngest students. Support is needed for all teachers, regardless of workplace, in the areas of communication, intercultural education, and managing cultural differences.

The evolutionary success of sap-feeding hemipteran insects in the suborder Auchenorrhyncha was enabled by nutritional contributions from their heritable endosymbiotic bacteria. However, the symbiont diversity, functions, and evolutionary origins in this large insect group have not been broadly characterized using genomic tools. In particular, the origins and relationships among ancient betaproteobacterial symbionts Vidania (in Fulgoromorpha) and Nasuia/Zinderia (in Cicadomorpha) are uncertain. Here, we characterized the genomes of Vidania and Sulcia from three Pyrops planthoppers (family Fulgoridae) to understand their metabolic functions and evolutionary histories. We find that, like in previously characterized planthoppers, these symbionts share nutritional responsibilities, with Vidania providing seven out of ten essential amino acids. Sulcia lineages across the Auchenorrhyncha have a highly conserved genome but with multiple independent rearrangements occurring in an early ancestor of Cicadomorpha or Fulgoromorpha and in a few succeeding lineages. Genomic synteny was also observed within each of the betaproteobacterial symbiont genera Nasuia, Zinderia, and Vidania, but not across them, which challenges the expectation of a shared ancestry for these symbionts. The further comparison of other biological traits strongly suggests an independent origin of Vidania early in the planthopper evolution and possibly of Nasuia and Zinderia in their respective host lineages. This hypothesis further links the potential acquisition of novel nutritional endosymbiont lineages with the emergence of auchenorrhynchan superfamilies.

У статті проаналізовано діяльність військового судочинства у Західноукраїнській Народній Республіці в контексті їх самостійного функціонування с системі судової гілки влади. Зокрема визначено триступеневу систему військових судів, яка складалася з 12 польових військових окружних судів, 3 обласних судів (Львівської, Станіславської та Тернопільської військових областей) та Найвищого військового трибуналу Західноукраїнської Народної Республіки. Визначено організаційно-правові засади діяльності військових судів та безпосередньо ведення судочинства, зокрема правовою основою його залишалися чинними на той час кримінальний та кримінально-процесуальний кодекси Австро-Угорської імперії. Окрему увагу зосереджено на правовому статусі суддів військових судів: визначено освітньо-кваліфікаційні вимоги суддів, порядок призначення та присвоєння військових звань, вступу на посаду, складання присяги судді (наведено текст присяги) та ін. Значну увагу у статті зосереджено на практичній складовій діяльності військових судів в умовах ведення військових дій та протидії державному будівництву з сторони польського населення Східної Галичини. Так, повноваження військових судів поширювалися на злочини вчиненні проти держави, посадових осіб, шпигунської та терористичної діяльності, а також злочинних діянь військово службовців Української Галицької Армії. Детально проаналізовано судовий процес, зокрема участь потерпілих та обвинувачених, прокурора та адвоката, а також можливість введення спрощеної процедури для пришвидшення розгляду справи. Визначено особливості винесення вироків військовими судами та процес виконання покарання, особливо смертної кари. Окремо, варто зазначити, що теоретико-правовий аналіз діяльності військових судів у Західноукраїнській Народній Республіці у статті наповнений конкретними прикладами судових справ. Ключовим аспектом рукопису стали висновки авторів, в яких зазначено що судова влада у новоствореній державі була самостійною гілкою влади, а військові суди в складний для країни час ефективно працювали в напрямку розслідування та розгляду кримінальних справ, забезпечували в державі належний стан законності та правопорядку, чим внесли вагомий вклад у становлення української держави в Східній Галичині.

Jednakże założenie o istnieniu sprzeczności między myśleniem naukowym i twórczością poetycką jest jedynie pozorne. Badania poetyczne to podejście badawcze, które wykorzystuje poezję jako metodę eksploracji, analizy i reprezentacji wyników badania. W artykule autorka wyjaśnia, dlaczego warto sięgać po formy poetyckie na różnych etapach procesu badawczego. Pokazuje, w jaki sposób można tworzyć poezję z uzyskanych danych, a także omawia cechy wyróżniające ars poetica, które mogą posłużyć za punkty odniesienia dla badań poetyckich w badaniach jakościowych, tak aby przekazać bogactwo ludzkich doświadczeń, które może nie być w pełni uchwycone przez tradycyjne teksty akademickie.

The purpose of this research work is to develop scientific approaches to solving the problem of increasing the sustainability of urbanised territories through flexible regulation of the groundwater regime. The development of a management solution for flexible regulation is carried out on the basis of the application of methods for solving problems of incorrectness.Materials for the study were data from the study of dangerous hydrogeological processes, systematised, among other matters, based on the results of monitoring natural emergencies at the Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations. The approach proposed by the authors is based on the application of a set of methods, including methods of: system analysis, forecasting, numerical modeling, followed by the development of an optimal management solution of emergency situations at the municipal level.As a result of the numerical modeling carried out in the work, the variants of drainage systems and their operating mode are determined within the framework of the implementation of the proposed approach in the simulation mode. This makes it possible to increase the level o f environmental safety of historically developed built‐up areas, including mountainous ones.The article presents a new approach to managing the risk of emergencies in case of flooding of buildings and structures in built‐up mountainous territories, including historical territories. In such territories, the watered soil preserves the cultural layer, which determines the need for flexible regulation of the groundwater regime. The results of the study are used in carrying out research work of the State Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (GOChS) on the study of dangerous hydrogeological processes and their impact on the environment, life safety, stability of the functioning of economic facilities, monitoring and forecasting of natural emergencies.

ABSTRACT: The aim of the current study was to investigate the potential of in ovo-fed amino acids (AA) to reduce the effects of heat stress on finishing broiler chickens. To achieve this, a total of 1,400 fertile hatching eggs were randomly distributed into 5 groups (n = 280/group) and injected with one of the following in ovo treatments on embryonic day 18: 52 µL of sterile diluent/egg (CTRL), CTRL + 1.0 mg of L-Leucine (T1), CTRL + 0.45 mg of leucine + 1.15 mg of methionine (T2), CTRL + 3.0 mg of methionine + 2.0 mg of cysteine (T3), and CTRL + 0.40 mg of leucine + 1.60 mg of methionine + 1.60 mg of cysteine (T4). After hatch, chicks were allocated according to a complete randomized block design comprising 2 thermal conditions: thermoneutral (24°C, 45% RH) and heat stress (34°C, 55–60% RH) with 5 pens/group/condition. The cyclical heat stress regimen (10 h/d) was then applied from d 29 to d 34. Compared to the CTRL group, T3 and T4 exhibited a higher BW during the starter phase (P < 0.001). T4 also had a lower feed conversion ratio (FCR) than CTRL during this same phase (P = 0.03). During the grower phase, males of all treatment groups consistently exhibited higher BW compared to the CTRL group, which was not observed among female birds (PSex × TRT = 0.005). During the finisher phase, the in ovo treatment effect on performance was not significant. However, heat-stressed birds from treatment group T3 and T4 exhibited lower facial temperatures (Pday × TRT < 0.001) as well as lower plasma (Pcondition x TRT = 0.039) and liver (Pcondition x TRT < 0.001) malonaldehyde concentrations compared to the CTRL group. In conclusion, in ovo-fed AA have the potential to modulate the effects of heat stress on finishing broiler chickens by limiting its detrimental consequences, including increased body temperature and oxidative damage.

Abstract Background The impact of probiotic strains on host health is widely known. The available studies on the interaction between bacteria and the host are focused on the changes induced by bacteria in the host mainly. The studies determining the changes that occurred in the bacteria cells are in the minority. Within this paper, we determined what happens to the selected Bifidobacterium adolescentis and Bifidobacterium longum ssp. longum in an experimental environment with the intestinal epithelial layer. For this purpose, we tested the bacteria cells' viability, redox activity, membrane potential and enzymatic activity in different environments, including CaCo-2/HT-29 co-culture, cell culture medium, presence of inflammatory inductor (TNF-α) and oxygen. The growing challenge of food waste management presents a critical opportunity for advancing the circular bioeconomy, aiming to transform waste into valuable resources. This paper explores innovative strategies for converting food wastes into renewable food resources, emphasizing the integration of sustainable technologies and zero-waste principles. The main objective is to demonstrate how these approaches can contribute to a more sustainable food system by reducing environmental impacts and enhancing resource efficiency. Novel contributions of this study include the development of bioproducts from various food waste streams, highlighting the potential of underutilized resources like bread and jackfruit waste. Through case studies and experimental findings, the paper illustrates the successful application of green techniques, such as microbial fermentation and bioprocessing, in valorizing food wastes. The implications of this research extend to policy frameworks, encouraging the adoption of circular bioeconomy models that not only address waste management challenges but also foster economic growth and sustainability. These findings underscore the potential for food waste to serve as a cornerstone in the transition to a circular, regenerative economy.

Tangible cultural heritage is a strategic resource for the development of rural and urban settlements. Cooperation with stakeholders from EU countries and regions within the Danube macro-region, such as cultural heritage institutions and competent authorities, allows to agree on the preparation and adaptation of compatible digital innovation strategies in local initiative groups in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, as well as on impact mapping through a set of pan-European socio-economic indicators. Objectives of the study: to analyse the available European best practices and methodology for adaptation in the integration of the regions of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine in the interregional innovation partnership on the smart specialisation "Cultural and Creative Regional Ecosystems" (CCRE-S3) [1]. The overall horizontal objective of the integration into the platform should be to add value to the common characteristics of the cultural and creative sector and to create a permanent discovery mechanism that will carry out activities to identify strategic investments and the use of innovation transfer tools. Previous works: previous concept, research and experience are described in the articles [2] and [3]. Approach: European benchmarking, comparative analysis, bibliographic research. Outcome: recommendations aimed at stimulating new ideas and opportunities related to cultural and creative experiences for local communities and residents by involving several groups of professions that use, apply and implement new technologies in the cultural and creative industries sector. The European Programmes provide resources to support their implementation. In this way, the Danube Strategy participating States [4], by supporting partnerships between the cultural heritage sector and other sectors such as higher education and vocational education and training, creative industries and sustainable cultural tourism, will be able to stimulate innovation for new services and applications in their regions.

Background: Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) represents a heterogenous group of malignant lymphoproliferative neoplasms originating from lymphoid tissue cells and having distinct clinical, cytomorphological, immunological and molecular and genetic features. Primary orbital lymphomas are rare and account for approximately 1% of all NHL. Lymphomas are, however, the most common primary orbital tumor in adults 60 years of age and older. Purpose: To present a rare case of primary B-cell MALT lymphoma of marginal zone of the upper eyelid, to highlight its clinical features, and to demonstrate the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to its treatment. Results: A male patient presented to the eye clinic complaining of bilateral pterygium and periodic nasal congestion. Within the course of examination and prolonged observation, the ophthalmologist suspected the symptoms of massive orbital disease, and the patient was referred for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the brain. On the basis of imaging assessment and the oncologist’s opinion, the patient was hospitalized at the Podillia Regional Oncology Center with a preliminary diagnosis of orbital lymphoma. Thereat, a final diagnosis of “extranodal, non-Hodgkin’s B-cell lymphoma of the marginal zone (MALT lymphoma) of Stage 3a, with metastases in the lungs, pleura and lymph nodes of the mediastinum” was established. At the moment, he is under observation by an oncologist and on the way to stabilization of his major disease. Conclusion: Management of orbital non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas remains a challenge requiring a multidisciplinary approach involving ophthalmologists and oncologists.

Abstract European rivers are disconnected by more than one million man-made barriers that physically limit aquatic species migration and contribute to modification of freshwater habitats. Here, a Conceptual Habitat Alteration Model for Ponding is developed to aid in evaluating the effects of impoundments on fish habitats. Fish communities present in rivers with low human impact and their broad environmental settings enable classification of European rivers into 15 macrohabitat types. These classifications, together with the estimated fish sensitivity to alteration of their habitat are used for assessing the impacts of six main barrier types (dams, weirs, sluices, culverts, fords, and ramps). Our results indicate that over 200,000 km or 10% of previously free-flowing river habitat has been altered due to impoundments. Although they appear less frequently, dams, weirs and sluices cause much more habitat alteration than the other types. Their impact is regionally diverse, which is a function of barrier height, type and density, as well as biogeographical location. This work allows us to foresee what potential environmental gain or loss can be expected with planned barrier management actions in rivers, and to prioritize management actions.

Fuels should behave appropriately in all sections of the engine system: the engine, fuel delivery system, and tank. Fuel quality can be linked to the following three crucial areas: performance, fitness for current use, and stability. Classical methods of diesel fuel examination mostly rely on the absolute value measurement of one specific parameter while stabilizing outside conditions. In contrast, multiparametric methods depend on simultaneously measuring a set of parameters. Therefore, multiparametric methods open the possibility of intriguing new examinations and classifications of diesel fuel quality while raising specific issues relating to the instrumentation and construction of sensing devices. This paper presents a review, based on the published literature and the authors’ research, of the current state-of-the-art multiparametric methods for rapid diesel fuel quality classification and related instrumentation, systematizing the various types of methods from the point of view of the principles of their operation. The main conclusion is that different measuring procedures use similar methods of data processing. Moreover, the heavy, costly, and complex devices that enable standard examinations can be converted to simpler devices in the future, whose cost of use is significantly lower. However, to achieve this, progress in electronic devices is required.

Honey contains a wide range of inorganic substances. Their content can be influenced, i.e., by the type of soil on which the bee pasture is located. As part of this study, the mineral profile of 32 samples of honey from hobby beekeepers from the Czech Republic wasevaluated and then compared with soil types in the vicinity of the beehive location. Pearson’s correlation coefficient was used to express the relationship between mineral substances and soil type. There was a high correlation between antroposol and Zn (R = 0.98), Pb (R = 0.96), then between ranker and Mn (0.95), then regosol and Al (R = 0.97) (p < 0.05). A high negative correlation was found between regosol and Mg (R = −0.97), Cr (R = −0.98) and between redzinas and Al (R = −0.97) (p < 0.05). Both positive and negative high correlations were confirmed for phaeozem. The CART method subsequently proved that the characteristic elements for individual soil types are B, Ca, Mg, Ni, and Mn. The soil types of cambisol, fluvisol, gleysol, anthrosol, and kastanozem had the closest relationship with the elements mentioned, and it can therefore be assumed that their occurrence indicates the presence of these soil types within the range of beehive location.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the current state of environmental management of agricultural enterprises (on the example of “Kernel-Trade” LLC). The article analyzes the indicators of development of certain types of economic activity in order to determine the place of agriculture in the economy of Ukraine. Using statistical data, the author assesses the impact of agricultural enterprises on the environment (the use of mineral and organic fertilizers, liming of soils, soil gypsumization, soil treatment with pesticides, etc.) The author assesses the volume of investments and current expenditures in the field of environmental protection of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine. “Kernel-Trade” LLC is considered as one of the strongest players in the agro-industrial market, and its main financial indicators (profit, EBIDTA, social payments, gross income, net debt), its contribution to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (namely, contribution to Sustainable Development Goal 6 – clean water and satisfactory sanitation 7 – affordable and clean energy, 12 – responsible production and consumption, 15 – protection and restoration of terrestrial ecosystems, and 17 – partnership for sustainable development) and the environmental management cycle in the field of environmental protection. Based on the analysis of statistical information from the company’s annual report, the volume of CO2 emissions by different types of activities was compared. Using the SWOT analysis, the features of the current state of environmental management of the enterprise are summarized. The scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the article’s results lies in the development of theoretical and methodical provisions for improving the management of enterprise competitiveness through the implementation of environmental management initiatives. Today, the topic of ecology is extremely relevant, since obtaining EU membership requires not only economic and political changes, but also, above all, changes in the sustainable development of the country as a whole. It is through the prism of agriculture that the authors of the article emphasized the need for changes in the approach to enterprise management on the basis of environmental sustainability in Ukraine.

Most of the sedimentary carbonates deposited in the marine environments are composed of calcium carbonate minerals with varying amounts of incorporated Mg2+. However, understanding how interactions of impurities with carbonate and their incorporation affect sediments behavior remains a challenge. Here, a new insight is obtained by monitoring solution composition, morphology, and electrokinetic potential of carbonate particles formed in a spontaneous unseeded batch precipitation experiment using electrochemical and scanning electron microscopy methods. The solid composition and growth rate are extracted from changes in the bulk composition and fitted to chemical affinity rate law, revealing that the precipitation pathway consists of second-order dissolution and first-order precipitation. The molecular dynamics simulations show that the lattice strain induced by randomly substituting Ca2+ by Mg2+ stabilizes spherical nanoparticles and reduces their surface area and volume. Combining kinetics and thermodynamics insight, we conclude that variation in the carbonate bulk and interfacial energies, along with the solution supersaturation, lead to the dissolution-precipitation transformation pathway from Mg-rich to Mg-poor carbonate phase that preserves spherulitic morphology. Our findings are relevant for long-standing questions of how impurities influence diagenesis of carbonate sediments and spherulitic carbonate particles' origin.

Abstract Metabarcoding (high‐throughput sequencing of marker gene amplicons) has emerged as a promising and cost‐effective method for characterizing insect community samples. Yet, the methodology varies greatly among studies and its performance has not been systematically evaluated to date. In particular, it is unclear how accurately metabarcoding can resolve species communities in terms of presence‐absence, abundance and biomass. Here we use mock community experiments and a simple probabilistic model to evaluate the effect of different DNA extraction protocols on metabarcoding performance. Specifically, we ask four questions: (Q1) How consistent are the recovered community profiles across replicate mock communities?; (Q2) How does the choice of lysis buffer affect the recovery of the original community?; (Q3) How are community estimates affected by differing lysis times and homogenization? and (Q4) Is it possible to obtain adequate species abundance estimates through the use of biological spike‐ins? We show that estimates are quite variable across community replicates. In general, a mild lysis protocol is better at reconstructing species lists and approximate counts, while homogenization is better at retrieving biomass composition. Small insects are more likely to be detected in lysates, while some tough species require homogenization to be detected. Results are less consistent across biological replicates for lysates than for homogenates. Some species are associated with strong PCR amplification bias, which complicates the reconstruction of species counts. Yet, with adequate spike‐in data, species abundance can be determined with roughly 40% standard error for homogenates, and with roughly 50% standard error for lysates, under ideal conditions. In the latter case, however, this often requires species‐specific reference data, while spike‐in data generalize better across species for homogenates. We conclude that a non‐destructive, mild lysis approach shows the highest promise for the presence/absence description of the community, while also allowing future morphological or molecular work on the material. However, homogenization protocols perform better for characterizing community composition, in particular in terms of biomass.

Background: Microbiome dysbiosis plays a role in the pathogenesis of many urological diseases, including bladder cancer (BC). The aim of the study was to compare the urinary and gut microbiota of patients with BC with a healthy control (HC) group. Methods: The study group included patients hospitalized in 2020 to 2021 with diagnosed BC and HC. Prior to the transurethral resection of bladder tumor, patients collected their urine and stool which was then subjected to 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Results: Overall, 25 patients were enrolled in the study: 18 in the BC group and 7 in the HC group. Analysis of the urine and stool microbiome showed no statistically significant differences between patients with BC and HC in alpha diversity, beta diversity, and difference in taxa relative abundance. Detailed analysis of urine and stool microbiome depending on patient- and tumor-related characteristics also showed no statistically significant differences in alpha diversity and beta diversity. Differences in abundance (ANCOM) were noted in both types of samples in patients with BC. In the urine test, genus Lactobacillus was more common in patients with a positive history of Bacillus Calmette–Guérin (BCG) therapy, while genus Howardella and the strain Streptococcus anginosus were more common in women. In stool samples, abundance of phylum Desulfobacterota was most abundant in Grade G1 and least in G2. Class Alphaproteobacteria , order Rhodospirillales , order Flavobacteriales , and family Flavobacteriaceae were more common in women. Conclusions: The microbiome of urine and stool of patients with BC does not differ significantly from that of HC; however, its composition in patients with BC varies according to the patient’s sex.

When infected with a virus, cells may secrete interferons (IFNs) that prompt nearby cells to prepare for upcoming infection. Reciprocally, viral proteins often interfere with IFN synthesis and IFN-induced signaling. We modeled the crosstalk between the propagating virus and the innate immune response using an agent-based stochastic approach. By analyzing immunofluorescence microscopy images we observed that the mutual antagonism between the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and infected A549 cells leads to dichotomous responses at the single-cell level and complex spatial patterns of cell signaling states. Our analysis indicates that RSV blocks innate responses at three levels: by inhibition of IRF3 activation, inhibition of IFN synthesis, and inhibition of STAT1/2 activation. In turn, proteins coded by IFN-stimulated (STAT1/2-activated) genes inhibit the synthesis of viral RNA and viral proteins. The striking consequence of these inhibitions is a lack of coincidence of viral proteins and IFN expression within single cells. The model enables investigation of the impact of immunostimulatory defective viral particles and signaling network perturbations that could potentially facilitate containment or clearance of the viral infection.

The most common nematode in rabbits is passalurosis, and climate change in Ukraine in recent decades has altered the epizootic manifestation of this parasitosis, which predetermines the relevance of this study. Therefore, the purpose of this paper was to establish the epizootic situation regarding the passalurosis invasion and to investigate the pathological and histological changes in both the large and small intestines of rabbits with a high degree of damage by Passalurus ambiguus. The study used the McMaster method, the improved method of incomplete helminthological dissection according to K.I. Scriabin Private households in the Polissia zone of Ukraine were found to be the most vulnerable in terms of passalurosis infestation, where 37.70-41.67% of sick rabbits were registered. In the seasonal aspect, the highest infection of animals was found in winter (invasion extensiveness (IE) was 35.27%), with a peak in January (IE = 35.29%), the lowest – in summer (IE = 25.79%). Rabbits aged 1 to 2 years had the highest incidence of the pathogen Passalurus ambiguus (82.76%). It was found that with a high degree of damage (invasion intensiveness (II) – 2446.67 ± 422.11 eggs in 1 g of faeces) rabbits with passalurosis had catarrhal and catarrhal-haemorrhagic inflammation, swelling of the mucous membrane of the intestines with dotted or striped haemorrhages. The destruction of the villi of the mucous membrane of the small, caecum, and colon, crypt cells and infiltration by lymphocytes and monocytes, severe swelling of the submucosal base and muscle membrane, and a state of granular dystrophy of all smooth muscle cells of the muscle membrane were established. The detection of seasonal, age-related, and pathological-histological changes in rabbits with passalurosis will allow controlling the degree of infection of animals and promptly taking effective countermeasures, which predetermines the practical value of this study

Hereditary angioedema (HAE) is a rare inherited disease characterized by recurrent attacks of painful swelling of the subcutaneous and submucosal tissues. Recurrent attacks of angioedema lead to functional impairment, reduced quality of life (QoL) and increased mortality. Based on the concentration and function of the esterase inhibitor component 1 (C1) of complement (C1-INH) HAE is divided into three types. Type 1 HAE (HAE-1) is characterized by a low concentration of C1-INH and includes about 85% of all HAE cases. About 15% of patients with HAE have a normal concentration of C1-INH while enzyme activity is reduced, which is a feature of type 2 HAE (HAE-2). The third form of HAE has a normal concentration of C1-INH (HAE nC1-INH). HAE therapies include treatment of acute attacks, short-term prophylaxis (STP) and long-term prophylaxis (LTP). LTP involves the application of therapy to reduce the frequency and severity of attacks and improve the quality of life in patients who have frequent and severe attacks. Attenuated androgens are available for LTP in Croatia, but they are burdened with harmful effects. However, lanadelumab can also be used for long-term prophylaxis of HAE attacks. It is a fully human monoclonal antibody and is a very potent and specific inhibitor of plasma kallikrein, and has been approved in several EU countries.

Most, but not all school psychology internships in the United States include an intern stipend (Prus et al., 2014). Such financial support for this stage of graduate preparation is critical, especially considering the increasing loan debt incurred by graduate students and imitations in earning power (i.e., opportunity cost) during what is usually a full-time internship experience. Financial support is also critical to the recruitment of students into the field, especially students from less affluent economic backgrounds. This includes historically marginalized and minoritized groups, who on average borrow more for their graduate studies than do their White counterparts (Espinosa et al., 2019). In this article, Joseph S. Prus proposes that school psychology national organizations, state associations, graduate programs, and internship field sites make it a collective goal to achieve "100% funding for school psychology internships by the 2026-2027 academic year." Such support can help enhance student recruitment, increase the range of internship opportunities for those who otherwise could not participate in unpaid internships, and ease the overall burden of school psychology student debt.

The aim of the research was to find out about farmers’ opinions on financial support from the European Union. The development of rural areas and agriculture in Poland significantly accelerated after Poland became a member of the European Union on May 1, 2004. Pre-accession programs made it possible to prepare the agricultural sector for future EU membership, and the subsequent financial perspectives brought a number of programs allowing for the financing and development of the agribusiness sphere, including individual farms. The article presents the results of the research carried out by the survey method using the survey technique carried out in May 2021 among 60 farmers running farms in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The surveys were collected using the Microsoft Forms available to respondents via social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube). The research has shown that European Union funds had a significant impact on the development of farms in the voivodship under study. The financial support was obtained mainly by farms larger than 10 ha, in most cases for purchasing agricultural machines and tractors, and the value of investments usually exceeded 100,000 PLN. It was found that the complexity of the procedures made it difficult to access financial resources, which was why farmers often used the services of agricultural advisors.
