The article presents the basics of the method of correlation spatial-frequency filtering of maps of phase distributions of polyethylene films. Using the method of statistical analysis of the structure of spatial-frequency filtered polarization maps of polymer films, a set of methods and criteria for diagnosing changes in the birefringence of packaging materials has been substantiated and tested. A comparative analysis of a set of statistical moments that characterize the maps of polarization azimuths, as well as images of a large-scale (linear birefringence) grid of crystals, also revealed certain differences between them. The distribution histograms of polarization images of polyethylene polymer films from group 1 have a more asymmetric construction with a sharp kurtosis compared to the similar distribution of the indicated polarization image parameter of polymer films from group 2. The main features of the coating manifested themselves in a larger ordered structure of whiskers of films from group 1 and lower for group 2. Such a geometric design of the polycrystalline component manifests itself in the formation of the priority, most probable among all possible values of the polarization azimuth, the totality of which forms the main extremum. The method of polarization mapping of optically inhomogeneous polycrystalline lines of polymer films onto polyethylene with spatial-frequency filtering of the coordinate distributions of the laser vibration polarization azimuth on the Fourier plane is substantiated analytically. A comparative analysis of the effectiveness of the methods of direct polarization mapping and spatial-frequency selection in the differentiation of the distributions of the azimuth and ellipticity of the polarization of laser radiation, which is transformed by grids of polymeric polyethylene films, is presented., У статті наведено основи методу кореляційної просторово-частотної фільтрації карток фазових розподілів поліетиленових плівок. Використовуючи метод статистичного аналізу структури просторово-частотних фільтрованих поляризаційних карт полімерних плівок, обґрунтовано та апробовано комплекс методів та критеріїв діагностики зміни двопроменеломлення пакувальних матеріалів. Порівняльний аналіз набору статистичних моментів, що характеризують карти азимутів поляризації, а також зображень великомасштабної (лінійного двопроменеломлення) сітки кристалів, також виявив певні відмінності між ними. Гістограми розподілу поляризаційних зображень полімерних плівок поліетилену з групи 1 мають більш асиметричну побудову з різким ексцесом порівняно з аналогічним розподілом зазначеного поляризаційного параметра зображення полімерних плівок з групи 2. Основні особливості покриття проявилися в більш упорядкованій структурі нижньоподібних кристалів плівок для групи 2. Така геометрична конструкція полікристалічної компоненти проявляється у формуванні пріоритетного, найбільш вірогідного серед усіх можливих значень азимуту поляризації, сукупність яких утворює головний екстремум. Аналітично обґрунтовано метод поляризаційного відображення оптико-неоднорідних полікристалічних ліній полімерних плівок на поліетилен із просторово-частотною фільтрацією координатних розподілів азимуту поляризації лазерної вібрації на площині Фур’є. Наведено порівняльний аналіз ефективності методів прямого поляризаційного картографування та просторово-частотної селекції при диференціації розподілів азимуту та еліптичності поляризації лазерного випромінювання, яке перетворено сітками полімерних поліетиленових плівок.

Hypertension or high blood pressure is also called a “silent killer” that may lead to serious damage to the heart and kidney. The worst case can result in sudden death. Unbalanced diets are one of the risk factors for hypertension. Previous studies have proven that diet plays a significant role in influencing hypertension patient condition. Proper planning on the selection of diets needs to be done to control food intake for this cardiovascular disease patient. This study aims to formulate a mathematical model of diet planning for hypertension patients. Specifically, this study attempts to determine the amount of nutrients need by hypertension patients, to find the cost of the food combination, and to identify the best model between linear programming and integer programming. The research model included 10 types of food groups with 200 variables based on Malaysian recipes and developed a mathematical model using two programming techniques; linear programming and integer programming. The finding showed that the solution provided by the entire programming method has met the constraints and requirements of the food group. The results from the integer programming approach would offer optimal and efficient alternatives to diet planning for patients with hypertension. It can serve as a guideline for hypertension patients on type of food to eat and the correct amount of serving to complete their nutritional plan.

How to choose the optimal project portfolio based on the enterprise objectives is very important for the survival and development of an enterprise. However, the current portfolio analysis needs to be improved in the aspects of interaction effect analysis, multichoice target planning, and method simplicity and practicability. The method of portfolio selection proposed in this study takes into consideration the complex interaction within the portfolio, which makes up for the deficiency of the existing research on portfolio selection. This paper illustrates the application of the multichoice object programming method in the analysis of the combination of two-project and three-project interaction effects by a series of examples. The results show that the method is applicable in portfolio evaluation. The method of multichoice goal programming of the interaction effect provides the basis for enterprise to measure the complex relationship within the portfolio and also provides a new method and idea for the selection of the enterprise project portfolio.

Electrogastroenterography is a field that studies the condition of the gastrointestinal tract. Electrophysiological signals contain artifacts that are not directly related to the activity of the organism, and the filtration of such artifacts is an important issue. Electrogastroenterography is a field that studies the condition of the gastrointestinal tract. This method is associated with radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy. In these methods, electrical signals are taken from the surface of the abdominal cavity. For this purpose, the issues of elimination of artifactors, processing and analysis of signals on the example of electrogastroenterograms for processing and measurement of electrophysiological signals were considered. Objective. To develop methods for a rapid distance computer diagnosis of COVID-19 based on the analysis of breath sounds. It is known that changes in breath sounds can be the indicators of respiratory organs diseases. Computer analysis of these sounds can indicate their typical changes caused by COVID-19, and can be used for a rapid preliminary diagnosis of this disease. Materials and methods. The method of fast Fourier transform (FFT) was used for computer analysis of breath sounds, recorded near the mouth of 14 COVID-19 patients (aged 1880 years) and 17 healthy volunteers (aged 548 years). The frequency of breath sound records ranged from 44 to 96 kHz. Unlike the conventional methods of computer analysis for diagnosis of diseases based on respiratory sound studying, we offer to test a high-frequency part of FFT (20006000 kHz). Results. While comparing the breath sound FFT in patients and healthy volunteers, we developed the methods for COVID-19 computer diagnosis and determined the numerical criteria in patients and healthy persons. These criteria do not depend on sex and age of the examined persons. Conclusions. The offered computer methods based on the analysis of breath sound FFT in patients and volunteers permit to diagnose COVID -19 with relatively high diagnostic parameters. These methods can be used in development of noninvasive means for preliminary self-express diagnosis of COVID-19.

Relevance. In patients suffering from defects in the organs of the maxillofacial region, often the most acute problem is not so much the problem of dysfunction, but rather unsatisfactory aesthetics. The loss of a particular organ of the maxillofacial region leads in many cases to become the cause of persistent disorders on the part of psychoemotional problems [1–3]. In the modern world, the face is the main "visiting card" of a person, most attracting attention from the people around him. The presence of one or another defect in the maxillofacial region forms a number of psychological problems in the patient, causing a feeling of shame from his inferior appearance. Materials and methods. The literature analysis of the applied methods of ectoprosthetics in the maxillofacial region was carried out. Results and discussion . Comparing the traditional and computer methods of making facial epitheses, one should note a common similarity – the laboriousness of the process, which requires an excellent understanding of the anatomy of the maxillofacial region, fluency in computer software. Having analyzed a large amount of foreign literature, I would like to emphasize that the success of the performed ectoprosthetics largely depends on a clear and complete visualization of the clinical picture as a whole, without focusing on a specific organ. This is the key condition for creating a harmonious aesthetics of the face and the entire appearance of the patient after the treatment as a whole. The restored harmonious appearance of the patient's face will allow for faster adaptation in society. Currently, it is not possible to unambiguously determine the best method. A decrease in the speed of production and the optional availability of medical education, according to a number of authors [4, 5, 16, 18, 19], are the motive for the choice and widespread introduction of CAD/CAM technologies, while some scientists [28] doubt their effectiveness. However, it is worth remembering that the result of the treatment is important for the patient, not the method itself, and only this is the result of his final assessment.

The microcontroller based on the high-performance ARM RISC processor core was programmed in the Eclipse IDE on the Windows 10 Pro operating system. We chose the Eclipse integrated development environment as the most convenient and accessible environment, it supports all kinds of programming languages and continuous compilation. Currently, 16- and 32-bit microcontrollers are rapidly gaining popularity in the field of industrial tasks. Their use is due to the ever-increasing complexity of tasks, stringent requirements for the performance of integrated controllers, the need to have advanced user controls in electronic devices. A combinatorial topological analysis and modeling of the self-assembly of crystal structures of LiCaSn-hP9 (space group P3m1, V = 230.36 A3), Li2CaSn- cF16 (space group Fm-3m, V = 333.56 A3), and Li20Ca28Sn44-oS92 (space group Cmcm, V = 2517.09 A3) are performed using computer methods (ToposPro software package). The cyclic precursor clusters K3-0@LiCaSn involved in the self-assembly of the crystal structure of LiCaSn-hP9, as well as tetrahedral ones K4 for the crystal structure of Li2CaSn-cF16 and cyclic K3, tetrahedral K4, and pentagonal pyramids K6 for the crystal structure of Li20Ca28Sn44-oS92, are established. The self-assembly of the crystal structure of Li20Ca28Sn44-oS92 involves $${\text{S}}_{3}^{1}({\text{A}})$$ primary chains from the bound clusters K6 and K3, and $${\text{S}}_{3}^{1}({\text{B}})$$ primary chains from the bound clusters K4 and K3. This work aims to create a comfortable interior design of Candi Loka Restaurant and apply a contemporary style. In this work, the theme of the Jamus Tea batik motif is applied through the Kurtz programming method. The result of this work is the interior design of Candi Loka Restaurant, which includes lobby facilities, dining area, teashop, workshop and education area, management office, kitchen, rest area, warehouse, prayer room, and toilet. The results of this work can be a reference for interior designers in designing contemporary interior concepts based on local wisdom

The research problem showed that the Diyala State Company for Electrical Industries relies on some simple methods and personal experience to monitor the quality of products and does not adopt scientific methods and modern programs. The aim of this research is to design a system to monitor the production quality of the transformer (400/11 KVA) through the use of a method that helps to make decisions of a quantitative multi-objective nature, which is the method of lexicographic goal programming that the researcher used to integrate the preferences of the decision-maker in monitoring the quality of the production of the transformer (400/11 KVA). Using the two programs (Excel and Lingo) in constructing and solving the mathematical model that was applied in the sections (outer and inner iron core, winding and isolating, final assembly and quality control). The results obtained were efficient, as they achieved the least possible deviations from all the target values ​​for all goals

Reading is one of the basic skills that must be mastered by everyone. However, the reading rate of people in Indonesia is very low. In fact, literacy conditions in Indonesia are now in crisis, which is also called a literacy emergency. Increasing interest in reading in the younger generation in Indonesia today is really important amidst so many technologies that are very rapidly developing. Therefore, Indonesia is currently so active at making movements to increase interest in reading. The purpose of this Community Library is to increase the reading interest of Indonesian people while providing adequate facilities for reading for the community. The design of Community Library uses architectural programming method. The process of this method is divided into two stages consisting of preparing a program that is an activity of analyzing data that led to architectural problems and designing designs that can solve problems. The digitalization of books can be used as a way to increase the children and adults interest in reading again. However, that still feels lacking, because it requires a more efficient steps that can further influence the interest in reading and attract the attention of the public to e interested in reading. One way to attract the reading interest of public to be interested in reading is to turn the library into a creative reading place. This is what underlies the thought of the Community Library. Creating a Community Library with the concept of Recreation Space is expected to help change people's view of reading which was boring to be fun. The design is a comfortable, varied, and fun reading space with complete facilities.

In the recent decade, the design of green hydrogen supply chains has been highlighted by researchers. Although, nowadays, responsiveness and social responsibility of networks could also be regarded as important measures that could attract more consumers to use hydrogen. Accordingly, this paper aims to improve the reliability and social responsibility of a hydrogen supply chain along with its economic and environmental aspects. To ensure the network's responsiveness, a new objective function is extended that maximizes the reliability of products' delivery. Also, a novel reliability approach is developed to immune the network against disruptions. As a new sustainability indicator, social factors are considered in the design of the hydrogen supply chain. Finally, a mixed possibilistic flexible programming method is proposed to assure the outputs' reliability. The results illustrate that by 28.4% enhancement in cost objective, the value of environmental, social, and reliability objectives are desirably improved 39.2%, 45.6%, and 24.1%, respectively.

This letter describes the design optimization of a flash memory cell that uses source-induced band-to-band hot electron (SIBE) injection programming method. The programming efficiency is determined by the tunneling current to the floating gate, which is shown to be dependent with the gate length covered width. Optimal gate length covered width is empirically studied in this work through simulation, and we are able to observe more than an order of magnitude increase in the programming efficiency which tremendously reducing the total power consumption of the flash memory.

Classifications of methods for analyzing the structure of painting canvas, and fabrics in the textile industry are constructed within the framework of the ontology for the subject area of attribution and restoration of paintings. The limited variety of practically applied methods in painting by x-ray analysis, and the perspective of the method of analyzing the texture of the canvas in reflected rays under directed lighting are noted.

The subject of this research is the interdisciplinary legal and computer research tools and methods. The authors substantiate the interdisciplinary (legal-computational) methodology for automated analysis and assessment of qualitative changes in legislation and law enforcement practice. Interim results of the research project that are of methodological nature and cover methodological paradigm, principles, means and methods of scientific research are provided. The formulated conclusions represent a summary of heuristic search and computational experiments carried out in the domain field of administrative tort law, as well as comprehension of the process and results of research from both, legal and computer perspectives. Explanation is given to the interdisciplinary paradigm in the indicated methodological area. Leaning on the empirical evidence and observations, the author formulates the three research principles: principle of heterogeneity of domain, principle of discreteness of legal practice, and principle of identity of the model. As the key research tools, the author substantiates and tests in computational experiments the scientific information-analytical system, mathematical and social indicators have been developed, justified and tested in computational experiments. Computer methods (knowledge modeling, natural language processing, machine learning) that ensure automation of identification and usage of indicators mate with the dogmatic method, systemic analysis and expert assessment responsible for legal interpretation of computations. The legal and computer tools are determined for identification and usage of the principal indicators. In conclusion, the author outlines a number of problems and restrictions determined in the course of the conducted research.

A bi-level programming method for authorities to design car ban schemes is proposed. The problem is formulated as a nonlinear integer bi-level programming problem with the objective of minimizing the total travel time of cars on weekdays. The proposed ban scheme is obtained based on the spatial distribution of the last digits on car license plates and considers the fairness of car users by balancing the daily traffic service levels. A case study is investigated with real data from Dalian city. A comparison of the schemes based on both the proposed method and the traditional method indicates that the scheme of the proposed method can decrease the total car travel time during morning peak hours on weekdays by 134,900 h, which is equivalent to 4.5 min per car per day.

A geometrical and topological analysis has been performed, and self-assembly of the crystal structures of intermetallic compounds formed in the Na–M (M = K, Cs, Ba, Ag, Pt, Au, Zn, Bi, Sb) systems has been simulated using computer methods (the ToposPro software). The NakMn precursor metal clusters of the crystal structures are determined based on the algorithms of structural-graph decomposition in cluster structures and construction of the basic net of the structure in the form of a graph whose nodes correspond to the cluster centers. The tetrahedral metal clusters M4, forming packets in the Na3Bi-hP8, Na2Bi2-tP4, and Na2Sb2-mP16 crystal structures; tetrahedral metal clusters M4 and spacers for the Na2(Au4)-cF24 and Ba2(Na4)-hP12 framework structures; octahedral clusters M6 for the Na4Au2-tI12 structure; octahedral M6 and tetrahedral M4 metal clusters for the Na2(Na4)(Ba6)-cF96 and Au2(In4)(Na6)-cF96 structures; and icosahedral metal clusters M13 for the Na(Zn13)-cF116 structure are found. The symmetry and topology code of the self-assembly of crystal structures of NakMn intermetallic compounds has been reconstructed from precursor metal clusters $$S_{3}^{0}$$ in the following form: primary chain $$S_{3}^{1}$$ → microlayer $$S_{3}^{2}$$ → microframework $$S_{3}^{3}$$ .

It is examined how to use digital facial anthropometry for scientific and practical problems; from biometry up to its different applications including medicine, biology, genetics, pattern recognition, and criminalistics. The presented review includes a brief history of anthropometry (as a descriptive and comparative science, the subject of investigation of which is Homo sapiens) and its transformation into modern computer methods for facial anthropometry. Concepts on face morphotype and phenotype; problems on morphology and morphometry as a basic means of facial digital anthropometry; quantitative and qualitative methods for estimating facial characteristics and parameters; problems for searching for associations between gene patterns in the genome and a man’s facial features; problems for estimating facial attractiveness; correlation between facial anthropometry and “Chernov’s faces” and with cognitive computer graphics used in practical medicine; human facial phenomenon and the problems with emotions, sex, and psychical type recognition; special cases for recognizing facial images (FIs), and methods for their solutions in the frames of digital facial anthropometry and examples of its solution are presented in the paper. The prediction on the close correlation between facial anthropometry and the Internet of Things as a modern world surrounded by a person in the 21st century is determined.

There are a number of problems in electrical machines which do not have any closed-form solution. They are to be solved by numerical analysis. Such problems are found in the analysis of synchronous and induction machines, also in field-theoretic analysis. One such problem is found in the analysis of salient pole hydro-generator. The paper deals with numerical solution of the problem. The problem concerns power generated, power angle and performance variables. The problem has been solved by a number of methods. Out of various methods, the Newton–Raphson method has been recommended as it gives the fastest solution. There is no closed-form solution also for saturation in an alternator if a fitting equation is not used. This problem has also been treated.

OBJECTIVE Cochlear implant (CI) technology and techniques have advanced over the years. There has not been the same degree of change in programming and there remains a lack of standardization techniques. The purpose of this study is to compare performance in cochlear implant subjects using experienced clinician (EC) standard programming methods versus an Artificial Intelligence, FOX based algorithm for programming. STUDY DESIGN Prospective, nonrandomized, multicenter study using within-subject experimental design SETTING:: Tertiary referral centers. PATIENTS Fifty-five adult patients with ≥ 3 months experience with a Nucleus 5, 6, Kanso, or 7 series sound processor. INTERVENTION Therapeutic Main Outcome Measures: CNC words and AzBio sentences in noise (+10 dB SNR) tests were administered in a soundproof booth followed by a direct connect psychoacoustic battery using the EC program. Tests were repeated 1 month later using the optimized FOX program. Subjective measures of patient satisfaction were also measured. RESULTS Performance for the EC program was compared to the FOX program for both measures. Group mean results revealed equivalent performance (Kruskal-Wallis ANOVA p = 0.934) with both programming methods. While some patients had better performance with the FOX method and some performed more poorly, the majority had equivalent performance and preferred the FOX system. CONCLUSION The study demonstrated that on average, FOX outcomes are equivalent to those using traditional programming techniques. In addition, the FOX programming method can effect standardization across centers and increase access for many individuals who could benefit.

Active development of Internet communication in recent years caused an increase in the number of forensic text examinations aimed at identifying and profiling (i.e. inferring gender, age, personality, etc. of the author from textual analysis) the author of written texts. Despite the availability of proven methodological recommendations for the production of such examinations, in this area there are many unresolved problems associated mainly with the emergence of new research objects. In addition, the existing expert practice does not fully utilize the achievements of corpus, computer, and quantitative linguistics. In this situation, there is a gap between the "qualitative" and "quantitative" methods of textual authorship analysis, which hinders further development of both theoretical research in the area of authorship attribution and profiling and an increase in the level of objectivity and reproducibility of forensic authorship analysis. The paper represents some typical tasks solved by a forensic expert; describes the characteristics of the objects of forensic authorship analysis, and determines the main difficulties forensic experts face in the course of this analysis. The possibilities of using existing computer methods to solve these tasks are analyzed. It is shown that not all the existing computer methods are useful for forensic authorship analysis. We also highlight the ways of development of forensic authorship analysis related to further theoretical research in the field of idiolect using corpus data and natural language processing techniques.

Therefore, the Learning Center is needed as a support for learning and academic culture in the campus area. The architecture programming method was chosen as the design method. Programming architecture method is divided into five processes namely goals, facts, concept, needs, and problems. Architectural programming methods pay close attention to the problems in design. Generation Z is the dominant generation in universities today so the trend of learning Generation Z becomes a reference in design. Flexible Learning concept is a Learning Center concept that accommodates students' flexible learning. Flexible Learning is in accordance with generation Z learning trends that have flexibility in learning space, learning media, learning time, and learning style.

Based on multi-objective programming method, this paper reviews the previous research on the problem of government guarantees in the project financing, and puts forward the importance of the research on project selection of government guarantee in Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) or Public Private Partnership (PPP) project finance. Through the analysis of the selection criteria of guarantee project, we find that the selection problem of government guarantee of BOT/PPP infrastructure projects is essentially a multi-objective decision problem. In the modern science, priority is given for the search of biological active compounds with specific properties. As a result of experimental data, it was found that in the reaction between N-(β-D-glycopyranosyl)-semicarbazide and the Lawesson reagent (2,4-bis(p-methoxyphenyl)-1,3-dithiadiphosphetane 2,4-disulfide) at the ratio 1:1 in pyridine when boiling under reflux in a water bath for 20 - 35 minutes, a new synthetic compound N-(β-D-glycopyranosyl)-thiosemicarbazide is formed. The individuality and structure of the target products were confirmed by 13C NMR spectroscopy, 1H NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. For the synthesized new compounds of N-(β-D-glycopyranosyl)-thiosemicarbazides, the probability of pharmacological and toxic effects were predicted by the computer method in silico. From the synthesized compounds N-(β-D-galactopyranosyl)-thiosemicarbazide, the probability of antibacterial (antibacterial) activity is predicted (Pa/Pi 0.544/0.013). The antibacterial activity of the compound (4) was confirmed in a test for salmonella infection of lambs, salmonellosis of calves, and colipathogenic E. coli serotypes. An experimental study by the in vitro method made it possible to conclude that the new synthetic compound N-(β-D-galactopyranosyl)-thiosemicarbazide in the studied concentrations has a pronounced bactericidal and bacteriostatic effect. The synthetic new compound N-(β-D-glyco- pyranosyl)-thiosemicarbazide is a promising compound for further study.

Over the last half-century, continuous development in all fields of science and technology has changed society’s aspirations in several respects. Computers have proved to be the most daunting and revolutionary in many respects, since they are rooted in a design and abstraction tradition that is radically different from biology. In recent decades, computational biology has grown in importance as a field of research in biological sciences. Computational biology sheds new light on critical research methods and how to apply them to overcome nature’s problems. Bioinformatics is the basis for the biology of structures. The application of computing and information technology to solve biological problems is likely to play an important role in the 21st-century, similar to the role played by molecular biology in biological science. In general over the last quarter-century, computing and information technology has become increasingly integrated into biological research. Since then, computer methods and tools have been used in a wide range of biological studies.

The purpose of the article. During developing technological processes for the production of grain smoothies, it is necessary to determine how the organoleptic and related structural and mechanical properties change during storage using structure-forming agent. The smoothie structure undergoes changes over time that can be positive or negative. These changes can be analyzed and predicted using the basic structural and mechanical parameters. Research methods. The aim of the study is to determine the influence of structure formers on the rheological properties of grain smoothies during storage. The methodological basis of the study is an integrated approach, both in the formulation of tasks and in the conduct and analysis of research results using new theoretical developments, modern computer methods of mathematical modeling and analysis. Scientific novelty. There are two main periods of change in the characteristics of the smoothie structure. During the first 15 days storage period all the structural and mechanical properties of the smoothie remain unchanged. So, the rate of structure destruction is m = 0.61, the plastic viscosity is ηпл = 7.71 Pa·s, the effective viscosity at a unit shear rate is B0 = 292 Pa·s, yield point is σ0 = 240 Pa, the Bingham yield point is σд = 832 Pa. From sixteen storage days the value of all the basic structural and mechanical characteristics of the smoothie begins to grow up. During storage for 30 days the rate of rate of structure destruction m increased from 0.61 to 0.69. Such an increase characterizes the strengthening of the anomalous, non-newtonian properties of the smoothie. The plastic viscosity η пл increased by 12.1%, the effective viscosity at a yield point B0 increased by 29.5%. Conclusions. The study of the structural and mechanical properties of the smoothie lasted 30 days. At the end of this period, the smoothie acquired a condensation-crystallization structure. The yield strength was reached 2200 Pa. Thus, the recommended storage period of a smoothie is 15 ± 0.5 days.

Learning computer programming is a good way to develop Computational Thinking, but many students assumed that computer programming is a complicated subject, which leads toward their disinterest in computer science. We believe that this assumption can be overcome if the students were introduced to the concept of programming earlier during preschool years. The best programming method for children to learn programming is the tangible programming method but current Malaysian preschool syllabus does not contain a framework for preschoolers to learn tangible programming. This paper introduces the developmentally-appropriate Learn Programming Framework (LPF) for preschoolers to learn programming concepts. The structured syllabus in LPF involves a series of controlled-play activities to be used with the novel tangible board game. Once the framework has been successfully implemented, extensive evaluation of LPF will be done to test its effectiveness in teaching children about programming

The article deals with the description of the production of a shaped part composed of an outer pyramid and cylindrical surface, of inner cylindrical surfaces of different diameters and of an inner tongue groove. It describes the proposed tools and tool holders resulting from the technological process. In order to meet the required tolerances and shape deviations for the given component, the CTX alpha 500 two-spindle multi-axis CNC lathe was chosen for its production. Its control system enables the workshop method of programming and simulation of individual operations in automatic mode or in block-by-block mode. The design of the selected CNC lathe enables the machining of rotary parts in one clamping, which is ensured by the right and left spindle with chucks. The surface quality of the pyramidal surface and the internal diameter of D18H8 was measured using a Hommel Etamic W5 roughness gauge. The measured roughness values for the hole were: D = 18H8, Rz = 3.007 μm, Ra = 0.729 μm and for the pyramidal surface: Rz = 1.527 μm and Ra = 0.329 μm.

In view of the above problems, PLC technology is used to design the conveying system, which achieves good control effect in the process of raw material conveying. In this paper, the object-oriented programming method is used to realize the automatic control of PLC conveying system, which has the advantages of fast response, high accuracy and reliable performance.

One of the most common diseases among women is breast cancer, the early diagnosis of which is of paramount importance. Given the time-consuming nature of the diagnosis process of the disease, using new methods such as computer science is extremely important for early detection of the condition. Today, the main emphasis is on the science of data mining as one of the computer methods in the field of diagnosis. In the present study, we used data mining as a combination of feature selection method by Gray Wolf Optimization (GWO) and support vector machine (SVM), which is a new technique with high accuracy compared to other methods in this classification, to increase the accuracy of breast cancer diagnosis. The UCI dataset and functional parameters and various statistical criteria were applied to evaluate the proposed method and assess the validity of the results in MATLAB, respectively. Application of the proposed method increased the improvement of the evaluated criteria, which increased the accuracy of diagnosis by 27.68%, compared to former works in the field. As such, it could be concluded that the proposed method had a higher ability to diagnose breast cancer, compared to previous techniques.

Based on decoupling strategy, a novel efficient method is proposed to solve the nonlinear interval uncertainty optimization problem with correlated interval design variables or parameters. This method is applicable to cases where both objective function and constraints are nonlinear with uncertain parameters, and design variables and parameters can be correlated or independent. The uncertainty of design variables and interval parameters is expressed by a multidimensional parallelepiped model, with which the correlated variables and parameters can be converted into independent interval parameters, thus constituting the traditional interval optimization model for independent interval parameters. Based on the idea of sequential optimization and reliability assessment (SORA), the two-layer nested optimization involved in the above interval optimization model can be converted into a single loop problem which can be solved efficiently by the sequential deterministic optimization algorithm. Finally, three numerical examples are investigated to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model.

Miglioramento della percezione del parlato in condizioni di silenzio e rumore mediante il metodo FAP (Frequency-Allocation Programming) personalizzato.L’obiettivo di questo studio è la valutazione della discriminazione verbale da parte di soggetti esperti portatori di impianto cocleare con impostazioni MAP standard, utilizzando le tabelle predefinite di allocazione di frequenza con un MAP di frequenza ottimizzato. Questo è uno studio osservazionale, trasversale e quantitativo su 50 adulti con impianto cocleare, 20 bilaterali e 30 monolaterali. 23 maschi (46%) e 27 femmine (54%). Tutti i soggetti erano maggiorenni. Le differenze tra i valori medi di soglia nell’audiometria tonale in campo libero sono risultati statisticamente significativi nei pazienti impiantati sia monolateralmente che bilateralmente; risultati simili sono stati ottenuti nei test bisillabici nei pazienti impiantati sia monolateralmente che bilateralmente (p0,005). I pazienti che hanno utilizzato il metodo di allocazione di frequenza, che assegna le frequenze sulla base di quelle fondamentali, hanno mostrato una percezione delle parole bisillabiche e delle frasi libere in quiete e nel rumore migliore rispetto ai pazienti con dispositivo precedentemente regolato con tecniche standard. Il metodo può essere applicato a diversi processori e utilizzato con differenti strategie di stimolazione. Permette la riduzione degli attuali livelli di intensità così come un aumento del range dinamico e migliora la qualità della rappresentazione del segnale.The objective of this study is the evaluation of speech recognition of experienced CI recipients with standard MAP settings using the default frequency-allocation tables with the optimised frequency-allocation MAP. This is an observational, cross-sectional and quantitative-approach study on 50 adult cochlear implant recipients, 20 bilateral and 30 unilateral implant recipients. 23 men (46%) and 27 women (54%). All subjects were ≥ 18 years old. Differences between the means of the thresholds in tone audiometry in free fields were statistically significant in both unilaterally and bilaterally implanted patients; similar results were obtained between average benefits in disyllabic for both unilaterally and bilaterally implanted patients (p0.005). The differences between the means of scores were statistically significant for unilaterally and bilaterally implanted patients, similarly occurred with the average in HINT test between standard SRT50% programming and frequency allocation fitting (p0.005). Patients using the frequency allocation method, which assigns frequencies based on fundamental frequencies, showed better perception of disyllabic words and open-set sentences in quiet and in noise than patients previously fitted with standard fitting techniques. The method can be applied to different processors and used with different strategies of stimulation. It allows reduction of current intensity levels as well as an increase in the dynamic range and improves the quality of the representation of the signal.

X-ray computer methods of research (projection microfocus radiography and microtomography), which are used to study the problem of hidden defects of seeds and investigate its impact on sowing quality, have been considered. The description and main characteristics of technical means that were used to obtain digital two-dimensional and three-dimensional (tomographic) X-ray images of seeds have been given and the possible ways of their quantitative computer processing and analysis have been discussed. Conclusions about the abilities of the methods of projection microfocus radiography and microtomography to study the features of the internal structures of a seed that are related to the violation of its integrity have been formulated.

The work presents the results of preliminary strength design of a thin-walled structure based on double-tee section loaded with a torsion moment. One of the solutions to this problem is considered, in which the torsional box is introduced in the central part. Then, one constructs a series of solution variants that differ in the torsional box length. In the design one uses the method of statically admissible discontinuous stress fields (SADSF) assuming the condition of equalized equivalent stress in the limit state. The work is complemented with elastic FEM analyses of one of the solution variants. Using this example, one shows good load-carrying properties of structures designed with the SADSF method, and proves that they could be several times better than the properties of structures designed with traditional or intuitive ways.

The authors developed and tested diagnostic instruments (a computer testing system) aimed at the identification of prospective teachers’ readiness for continuous professional self-development by the following criteria: the awareness of necessity for purposeful continuous professional self-development; the level of acquired professional knowledge, integrative and theoretical training; the formation of abilities and practical skills for professional self-development; practical training; a set of individual and psychological qualities important for continuous professional self-development and future professional activity in general; the focus on self-analysis, self-assessment of professional self-development. The developed survey “Diagnostics of Readiness for Professional Self-development” includes original parts of questionnaires and tests, which were creatively redesigned and adapted according to the research. Among them: “Dispositive Characteristic of Self-development of Personality”, “Diagnostics of Success Motivation”, “Diagnostics of Self-development Needs”, “Motivation of Professional Activity”, Cattell’s 16 PF-questionnaire, and others. For the purpose of implementing the authors’ concept, the technology of prospective teachers’ training for continuous professional self-development is developed. This technology is considered to be a system of contents, principles, methods, forms, substantiated organizational and pedagogical conditions that provides implementation of the authors’ concept and guarantees achievement of the planned results – increasing the level of prospective teachers’ readiness for continuous professional self-development. After the implementation of the technology, the computer diagnostics was applied again. The results of the final diagnostics showed the effectiveness of the training technology of the prospective teacher for continuous professional self-development and the computer method “Diagnostics of Readiness for Professional Self-development”.
