The present communication offers a method to determine an unknown discrete probability distribution with specified Tsallis entropy close to uniform distribution. The relative error of the distribution obtained has been compared with the distribution obtained with the help of mathematica software. The applications of the proposed algorithm with respect to Tsallis source coding, Huffman coding and cross entropy optimization principles have been provided.

In the present communication, we have obtained the optimum probability distribution with which the messages should be delivered so that the average redundancy of the source is minimized. Here, we have taken the case of various generalized mean codeword lengths. Moreover, the upper bound to these codeword lengths has been found for the case of Huffman encoding.

However, full justice was done in proper utilization of bandwidth in OFDM where subcarriers overlap orthogonally. In this paper, the performance analysis of M-ary QAM-OFDM wireless communication systems affected by AWGN in terms of Symbol Error Rate is presented. The MATLAB script based model of the M-ary QAM-OFDM systems with normal AWGN channel is made for study of error performance. Lastly a comparative study of error performance of 64,128 and 256 QAM-OFDM system is made showing the effects of increase in value of M on SER.

We have developed a highly flexible module to evaluate and access the reusability of software components. The purpose of this model is to do pattern recognition by discovering supervised features which can help us to measure the intangible aspects of software components in terms of reusability. There were several function based applications which were given due diligence for identifying their various degrees of reusability of their components. Once these projects were analyzed their software components were measured in terms of software metrics including (Volume, Coupling, Complexity, Reuse frequency, Regularity and Reusability). These measured metrics were carefully allocated a particular set of label which was based on the principals of software engineering and objectives to be achieved for doing the due research. Therefore, in this research work we are studying the degree of reusability by using six classes Naive Bayes Classification method which was able to give high precision value as compare to previous methods.

The present communication deals with the development of new coding theorems in terms of channel equivocation, that is, coding is done for a source which selects a new set of source statistics after each output symbol is received from the channel. New proof for Fano's bound on Shannon's equiv- ocation is provided by using log sum inequality. Moreover, bounds on various generalizations of Shannon's equivocation have been provided.

In the present communication, we have developed new inequalities using arithmetic-geometric-harmonic mean inequality and consequently, applied our findings to the field of entropy theory. It is observed that our results provide the stronger upper bounds to Shannon entropy as found by Simic(10) and Ta- pus and Popescu(7)using Jensen's inequality. Moreover, we have extended our findings to the field of coding theory by providing the comparisons of various codeword lengths.

Software Reusability is primary attribute of software quality. In the literature, there are metrics for identifying the quality of reusable components but there is very less work on the framework that makes use of these metrics to find reusability of software components. The quality of the software if identified in the design phase or even in the coding phase can help us to reduce the rework by improving quality of reuse of the component and hence improve the productivity due to probabilistic increase in the reuse level. In this paper, different models or measures that are discussed in literature for software reusability prediction or evaluation of software components are summarized.
