Kemampuan komunikasi matematis merupakan kemampuan siswa dalam menyampaikan informasi, gagasan, mengungkapkan gagasan matematis melalui gambar/grafik, tabel, persamaan, atau bahasa sendiri. Dengan demikian, kemampuan komunikasi matematis berkaitan erat dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi pemecahan masalah ialah kemampuan siswa menghadapi masalah, sehingga perlu dianalisis juga pengaruhnya dalam kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Sikap atau tanggapan seseorang dalam menghadapi suatu masalah dikenal dengan Adversity Quotient. Adversity Quotient dibagi ke dalam tiga kategori, yaitu Climber, Camper, dan Quitter. Penelitian yang telah dilakukan adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa Climber, namun masih belum dilakukan untuk siswa Camper dan Quitter. Sehingga, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa Camper dan Quitter. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan menganalisis hasil jawaban tertulis siswa dan selanjutnya dilakukan wawancara untuk melengkapi hasil. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode Miles and Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, analisis data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan keabsahan diuji dengan melakukan triangulasi waktu. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh adalah siswa Camper memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa Quitter, karena siswa Camper telah mampu memenuhi 4 dari 5 indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis, sedangkan siswa Quitter hanya 2 indikator saja. Mathematical communication skills are students' ability to convey information, ideas through discussions and presentations, express mathematical ideas through pictures/graphs, tables, equations, or their own language. Therefore, mathematical communication skills are closely related to problem solving abilities. One of the factors that influences problem solving is students' ability to face problems, so it is also necessary to analyze its influence on mathematical communication skills. A person's attitude or response in facing a problem is known as the Adversity Quotient. Adversity Quotient is divided into three categories, namely Climber, Camper, and quitter. The research that has been carried out is to describe the mathematical communication skills of Climber students, but has not yet been carried out for Camper and Quitter students. So, this research aims to analyze the differences in the mathematical communication abilities of Camper and Quitter students. The method used is qualitative by analyzing the results of students' written answers and then conducting interviews to complete the results. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman method which includes data reduction, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, to test the validity of the data, time triangulation was carried out. The results obtained are that Camper students have better mathematical communication skills compared to Quitter students, because Camper students have been able to fulfill 4 of the 5 indicators of mathematical communication ability, while Quitter students only have 2 indicators.

This research aims to analyze the comparative financial performance of Islamic insurance companies before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The financial performance measured refers to the early warning system ratios, which consist of the underwriting, liquidity, own retention, premium stability, and loss ratios. This research is a descriptive quantitative research using the Wilcoxon test. The research population is all Islamic insurance companies registered with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) for 2018-2021. The sample was selected based on purposive sampling so that 48 observation data were obtained. Data comes from financial reports obtained through the official FSA and Company websites. The research results show significant differences in financial performance before and during the pandemic in the liquidity and loss ratio variables. However, there is no significant difference in financial performance before and during the pandemic in the underwriting ratio, own retention ratio, and premium stability ratio variables. This research can complement existing theories and become a reference for companies to evaluate and improve their financial performance, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Lamellar scleral or clear corneal incision is made at superior site (6 mm wide for sclera or 5.5– 6 mm for corneal). A short segment of 8-0 polypropylene is inserted into each eyelet, each thread of the suture is externalized through the sclerotomy site, and the lens is inserted. The suture is tightened evenly, and the knot is rotated and internalized. Scleral incision and conjunctival peritomy are sutured with 8-0 vicryl.Results: We have performed this technique in 6 patients with excellent visual outcomes and no reported complications over 1 year of follow-up. This technique has practical advantages including rigid and stable PMMA IOL, high tensile, and slim 8-0 polypropylene suture which is easily internalized and less irritated, and affordable and widely available overall consumables.Conclusion: We present a modified 4-point scleral fixation technique for posterior chamber IOL placement using PMMA IOL with 2 eyelets and 8-0 polypropylene as compared to previous studies that used foldable IOL with 4 eyelets and 10-0 polypropylene or Gore-Tex sutures. This procedure has moderate technical complexity, comparable to previously reported techniques with good overall clinical outcomes and several practical advantages, particularly related to the affordability and availability of the consumables.Plain Language Summary: This paper presents a modification of currently existing 4-point sutured scleral fixation technique for posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation using PMMA IOL with 2 eyelets using 8-0 polypropylene. This study aims to thoroughly assess the effectiveness of a training program in enhancing the economic prospects of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) sector within the picturesque village of Desa Wisata Ciderum, located in Bogor. The research methodology employed here utilizes a comprehensive case study approach, centering on 25 UMKM practitioners who actively participated in a training program focusing on competency development and digital marketing strategies. Data were meticulously gathered through a combination of in-depth interviews and careful observations. Subsequently, a qualitative approach was employed to meticulously analyze the amassed data. The findings unequivocally demonstrated that the training program wielded a significantly positive influence. It led to substantial increases in sales figures, a notable expansion in market reach, and a remarkable enhancement of UMKM brand recognition within the community and beyond. Furthermore, this training initiative proved to be an effective solution in addressing the existing challenges related to limited knowledge and skills within the UMKM sector. It also played a pivotal role in fostering collaborative partnerships among the UMKM practitioners. The conclusions drawn from this research are of paramount importance, offering invaluable insights into the economic development of Desa Wisata Ciderum. By employing effective and sustainable training approaches, this study underscores the potential for further strengthening the UMKM sector, thereby contributing to the overall prosperity of the village.

This study aims to produce learning modules for informatics learning modules for the 10th grade that are appropriate to the Independent Curriculum and make it easier for teachers to present teaching material and make it easier for students to learn. The model which was used in this development was the Dick and Carey development model. The results of this development research are in the form of a learning module for informatics, which is designed systematically, operationally, in a directed manner and completed by some guides for teachers on how to use the language that the speakers easily understand. In the development process to obtain products that are appropriate with the objectives, validation is carried out by material experts, design experts, colleagues, and student responses. The results of validation by material experts obtained a total score of 161 percentage 87% worthy category, design experts obtained a total score of 138 with a percentage of 89% worthy category, while colleagues obtained a total score of 63 percentage 90% very worthy in the category.The test was carried out three times, the first on the individual test obtained an average total score of 34.33 percentage 86% worthy category, the second small group test obtained an average total score of 68 percent 91% very worthy in the category, and the three large group tests obtained average score 69.53 percentage 93% very decent category.Thus, when the product is developed it was concluded that the learning module was very worthy to use in learning Informatics subjects.

Mangrove plants have the ability to accumulate heavy metals and help reduce the concentration level of pollutants in water. Sediment and leaves of Avicennia marina have the potential to be indicators of the heavy metal copper content in an area. The aim of this research is to determine the content of the heavy metal copper in soil sediments and leaves of the Avicennia marina mangrove in the Jagir River and Avur River in the Wonorejo Mangrove Ecotourism Area. The research method used is a descriptive method with a field survey. Sampling was calculated starting from the Jagir River flow in the Wonorejo Mangrove Ecotourism area (points A1, A2, A3) and the Avur River flow in the Wonorejo Mangrove Ecotourism area (points B1, B2, B3). Analysis of heavy metals in samples using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). The test results showed that the highest content of the heavy metal copper (Cu) in the sediment and leaves of Avicennia marina Jagir River were 21.05 ppm and 16.10 ppm respectively. The highest content of the heavy metal copper (Cu) in the sediment and leaves of Avicennia marina in the Avur River in the Wonorejo Mangrove Ecotourism Area, Surabaya is 20.50 ppm and 17.10 ppm. The correlation coefficient for sediment and leaves of Avicennia marina in the Jagir River is 0.822 and in the Avur River is 0.829. The correlation between sediment and Avicennia marina leaves is positive with a very strong correlation.

Early DR screening is essential, but the infrastructure can be less affordable in low resource countries. This study aims to review the accuracy of low-cost smartphone-based fundus cameras for DR screening in adult patients with diabetes.Methods: We performed a systematic literature search to find studies that reported the sensitivity and specificity of low-cost smartphone-based devices for fundus photography in adult patients with diabetes. We searched three databases (MEDLINE, Google Scholar, Scopus) and one register (Cochrane CENTRAL). We presented the accuracy values by grouping the diagnosis into three: any DR, referrable DR, and diabetic macular oedema (DMO). Risk of bias and applicability of the studies were assessed using QUADAS-2.Results: Five out of 294 retrieved records were included with a total of six smartphone-based devices reviewed. All of the reference diagnostic methods used in the included studies were either indirect ophthalmoscopy or slit-lamp examinations and all smartphone-based devices’ imaging protocols used mydriatic drops. The reported sensitivity and specificity for any DR were 52– 92.2% and 73.3– 99%; for referral DR were 21– 91.4% and 64.9– 100%; and for DMO were 29.4– 81% and 95– 100%, respectively.Conclusion: Sensitivity available low-cost smartphone-based devices for DR screening were acceptable and their specificity particularly for detecting referrable DR and DMO were considerably good. Kesulitan mahasiswa dalam mempelajari materi perkuliahan menjadikan prestasi belajar dan daya juang mahasiswa tingkat akhir program studi Pendidikan Matematika menurun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kemampuan mathematical resilience dan menganalisis efektivitas teknik biblioterapi dalam mengembangkan mathematical resilience pada calon guru matematika. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode pre-experiment design. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika di Universitas PGRI Adi Buana dengan jumlah 84 mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala mathematical resilience dan soal ujian matematika yang disajikan dalam 3 paket soal. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan uji komparasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kemampuan matematik calon guru matematika dalam kategori sedang dan tingkat kemampuan mathematical resilience pada kategori sedang juga dengan persentase 50%. Penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa teknik biblioterapi dapat mengembangkan mathematical resilience calon guru matematika secara signifikan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pemberian teknik biblioterapi dapat meningkatkan mathematical resilience 17,8% dan diharapkan untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat menambah rekomendasi teknik konseling lainnya dalam mengembangkan mathematical resilience pada calon guru matematika. The students learning difficulty in the course material makes the learning achievement and fighting power of final year students of the Mathematics Education program decrease. The purpose of this study to identify the ability of mathematical resilience and analyze the effectiveness of bibliotherapy techniques in developing mathematical resilience in prospective mathematics teachers. The research approach used in this study is quantitative descriptive with pre-experiment design method. The subjects of the study were students of the mathematics education program at Universitas PGRI Adi Buana with a total of 84 students. The research instruments used are the mathematical resilience scale and mathematics exam questions presented in 3 question packages. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with comparative tests. The results showed the level of mathematical ability of prospective mathematics teachers in the medium category and the level of mathematical resilience in the medium category also with a percentage of 50%. This study also proved that bibliotherapy techniques can significantly develop the mathematical resilience of prospective mathematics teachers. The conclusion of this study is that the provision of bibliotherapy techniques can increase mathematical resilience by 17.8% and it is expected that further researchers can add recommendations for other counseling techniques in developing mathematical resilience in prospective mathematics teachers.

Literasi adalah salah satu aspek penting dalam menyerap dan menambah pengetahuan dan informasi dari berbagai sumber. Literasi sendiri menjadi hal yang dikembangkan di era sekarang ini. Hal ini terkait dengan pengembangan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang mengarah pada kemandirian. Sedangkan kemandirian adalah tuntutan seiring dengan terus berkembangnya sains dan teknologi yang harus dikuasai. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk memberikan motivasi bagi guru dan siswa, khususnya di SD Negeri 2 Sumampir, Purwokerto untuk meningkatkan literasi secara mandiri melalui berbagai kegiatan literasi baik berbasis konvensional maupun digital. Ketersediaan referensi merupakan elemen penting dalam memotivasi guru dan siswa untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kemampuan literasi mereka baik melalui media cetak maupun media digital. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode Forum Grup Discussion di mana para guru dan siswa dikelompokkan berdasarkan minat dan bakat dalam berliterasi, antara lain melalui penulisan puisi, cerita pendek, diari, dll. Setelah dikelompokkan para guru dan siswa melakukan sesi diskusi yang bertujuan meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kemampuan literasi. Diharapkan dari kegiatan ini dapat memberikan manfaat dalam mengembangkan minat dan bakat melalui kegiatan literasi.

Sweet potato weevil Cylas formicarius (Fab.) is the main obstacle for sweet potato production in various countries. Root damage caused by C. formicarius larvae reduced root yield up to 100%. The aim of this study is to test the measures using mulch and entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana for controlling C. formicarius in endemic land of entisol type. The control measure tested was the use of straw mulch and plastic mulch as well as the application of the entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana. The research was conducted at the experimental station at Indonesian Legumes and Tuber Crops Research Institute, Malang from July to December 2018. The results showed that the measure for controlling C. formicarius using straw or plastic mulch combined with the entomopathogenic fungus B. bassiana produces root yields between 17 and 26 t/ha. Using plastic mulch as a cover for mounds with the application of the fungus B. bassiana is more effective and efficient in controlling C. formicarius than the insecticide deltamethrin. Plastic mulch can physically inhibit the process of laying eggs and the formation of C. formicarius larvae, while B. bassiana is toxic to eggs, larvae, and adults of C. formicarius. The efficacy of control measure using plastic mulch and the application of B. bassiana can reduce yield losses by up to 96.76%. Technological innovation using plastic mulch to cover the mound with the application of the entomopathogenic fungus B. bassiana can be recommended to control C. formicarius on land endemic to the entisol type.

English language teaching (ELT) in Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, commonly known as "pesantren," presents a unique context that requires a tailored pedagogical approach. This study aimed to explore the application of context-responsive pedagogy in ELT within the unique context of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. This qualitative study employed semistructured interviews and classroom observation as data generation methods to gain insights into the experiences and perspectives of English language teachers regarding the implementation of context-responsive pedagogy in English language instruction. The findings revealed the importance of understanding learner needs, incorporating authentic materials, promoting cultural sensitivity, and effective use of technology in ELT practices in Islamic boarding school contexts. This study delves into how English language teachers navigated and negotiated their practices with the sociocultural and religious values entrenched in this institution. It also highlighted the challenges English language teachers in this school context faced in the implementation of context-responsive pedagogy. Eventually, this research provides valuable insights for ELT practitioners, policymakers, and researchers interested in incorporating context-specific pedagogy to optimize ELT in Islamic boarding schools and similar educational contexts.

Kajian ini mengenai kesinambungan topik dalam teks cerita rakyat Melayu Batu Batangkup. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat dan darjat kesinambungan topik pada perangkat nahu dalam teks cerita rakyat Melayu Batu Batangkup. Kaedah kajian yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif-deskriptif dengan menerapkan kaedah dokumentasi dalam pengumpulan data dan kaedah interaktif untuk menganalisis data. Data dalam kajian ini berbentuk perangkat nahu pada klausa yang terdiri daripada anafora kosong, kata ganti nama orang ketiga, kata ganti nama milik, frasa nama definit, dan frasa nama indefinit yang bersumber daripada teks cerita rakyat Melayu Batu Batangkup. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa (1) representasi perangkat nahu terdiri daripada anafora kosong, ganti nama orang ketiga, ganti nama milik, frasa nama definit, dan frasa nama indefinit. Daripada lima perangkat nahu, anafora kosong memiliki tingkat kesinambungan topik paling tinggi (4.62) dan frasa nama definit memiliki tingkat kesinambungan yang paling rendah (9.19). (2) daripada lima perangkat nahu, empat memiliki kesinambungan topik yang rendah, iaitu ganti nama orang ketiga (7.28), ganti nama milik (8.40), frasa nama indefinit (9.13) dan frasa nama definit (9.19). (3) darjat kesinambungan tertinggi dimulai daripada perangkat nahu anafora kosong, ganti nama orang ketiga, ganti nama milik, frasa nama indefinit dan frasa nama definit.

This research seeks to ascertain the kinetic parameters of VCO degradation based on the formation of peroxide and free fatty acids and to evaluate the shelf life of bromelain-extracted VCO at various temperatures. The kinetic parameters and shelf life of VCO were determined by measuring the value of peroxides and free fatty acids (FFA) concentration at temperatures of 50 ºC to 200 ºC. The heating was performed in a 1 L conical flask immersed in the paraffin bath. Samples were collected for each temperature at 0 to 60 minutes. The rate constant of peroxide and FFA formation was determined by regression analysis using Microsoft Excel, based on the plot of sampling time and value of peroxide and FFA concentration. The rate constant of peroxide formation escalated from 0.0114 to 0.1419 mEq Kg-1 min-1 when the VCO was heated at 50 ºC to 200 ºC. Meanwhile, the rate constant of FFA formation rose from 0.0188 to 0.0393 % min-1 when subjected to heating at 50 ºC to 200 ºC. Based on the shelf-life prediction established by Indonesian National Standards or the Asian and Pacific Coconut Community, the shelf-life of bromelain- extracted VCO varies from 10 to 3 hours at temperatures ranging from 2 ºC to 50 ºC. It was determined that elevating the temperature reduced the shelf-life of bromelain-extracted VCO. These findings suggest that temperature is crucial for the stability of bromelain-extracted VCO.

This study to describe consumer perspectives on waste management and analyze interventions for waste issues at Pujale Canteen UGM, which is crucial for enhancing public health and sanitation standards. A preliminary study of eight UGM cafeterias revealed that Pujale Canteen UGM achieved a score of 16 out of a total of 36 points on the UGM healthy cafeteria criteria. One hundred and sixty respondents who had visited Pujale Canteen UGM completed a consumer perspective questionnaire. Furthermore, four respondents were interviewed in depth to gain detailed insights. A fishbone analysis was employed to ascertain the priority issues, while the MEER method was utilised to identify potential solutions. The findings were unequivocal: 43.2% of respondents perceived Pujale Canteen UGM as unclean, 44.4% experienced discomfort, and 59.4% reported dissatisfaction. The interviews revealed an urgent need for improvements in sanitation, the provision of a cleaner environment, more effective waste disposal facilities, and the installation of handwashing stations. The fishbone analysis identified "Unclean Pujale Canteen UGM" as the core issue, and interventions were selected using the MEER method, including the provision of waste bins and cleanliness equipment. The primary issue at Pujale Canteen UGM is cleanliness. It is recommended that facilities and cleanliness equipment be provided to improve waste management and overall satisfaction at Pujale Canteen UGM.

Labor Protection is the ideal and purpose of the existence of labor law to provide legal protection in the omnibus law (Job Creation Act), which accommodates the interests of workers but also accommodates the ease of doing business in micro and small firms in the form of wages as seen in Article 90 B. the existing problems regarding the legal ratio of labor law in Indonesia based on the Job Creation Act and what are the forms of legal protection for workers in micro and small businesses based on the legislation?, the purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the ratio of labor law legislation in Indonesia. Indonesia is based on the Job Creation Act to find and explore forms of legal protection for workers in micro and small businesses. At the same time, the benefits of this research are divided into two, namely, theoretically, to provide a legal ratio to the wages of micro-enterprise workers. And small, while in practice, it is to provide legal protection for workers in Micro and Small businesses. The employment agreement is also a form of agreement regulated in the Manpower Act and the Law on Job Creation as an alternative to protecting workers' rights with the principle of proportionality which aims to increase workers’ bargaining power. Intrapreneurship skill has considered as the alternative learning outcomes of entrepreneurship education. However, entrepreneurship teachers need a complex learning program to develop intrapreneurship among business students. At the same time, The Ministry of Education and Culture of The Republic of Indonesia recommends university teachers implement case methods to deliver complex learning environments and build critical skills among students. Therefore, this study aims to i) examine the effect of micro small medium enterprise (MSME) cases on the intrapreneurship of business students, ii) investigate the influence of MSME cases on flow experience in entrepreneurship education and iii) investigate the effect of flow experience during entrepreneurship education on intrapreneurship skill. We used field experiments on entrepreneurship and digital business student in business development courses. The result indicates that the case method effectively developed student intrapreneurship skill and flow experience during the course positively impacting student intrapreneurship skill.

Merisik is a traditional ceremony that is in the Malay tribe. This event brought together two families, man and woman side. The purpose of this event is to know each other between the bride and groom. This event led by Bentara Sabda who had been appointed by each family. Thus, there are only two people who will interact in this event to represent each family. In this study,1) turn taking pattern,2) the relationship of utterances of the closest pair,3) the signs of the closest pair of utterances, and 4) how to obtain a turn of speech in Merisik, will be discussed. The method in this study is a descriptive qualitative. The results obtained are 1) having a perfect pattern that is in accordance with the ABAB formula, 2) there are two speech relationships and the closest pair of utterances, namely delivery and questions, 3) this event only obeys the two signs of the closest speech pair, namely utterances from different speakers and consists of two parts of speech, 4) there are two ways to get a turn of speech, namely by obtaining and seizing.

A procept is a combination of mental objects consisting of processes, concepts resulting from these processes, and symbols used to represent either concepts or processes. This study aims to describe the procept profile of the gradient concept and the equation of a straight line for the students of SMPN 1 Sooko Mojokerto. This type of research is descriptive qualitative exploratory. Determining the research subjects was carried out by giving a mathematical ability test to 42 prospective subjects, to obtain 5 students with high mathematics abilities, 22 students, and 15 low students, then from each category one research subject was taken. Data was collected using task-based interviews and analyzed by qualitative data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that there were differences in the procept profile of the gradient and straight-line equations between students with high, medium, and low abilities. The procept profiles of students with high math abilities meet all categories, students with moderate math abilities meet most of the categories, and students with low math abilities meet the small categories of gradient and straight-line equations.

The aim of the study was to examine the benefit of combination of organic (manure) and an organic fertilizer (NPK) along with the use of biofertilizer to improve cardamon growth and performance as Covid-19 biopharmaceutical raw material. The results showed that the application of NPK fertilizer in combination with NPK fertilizer had a significant effect on the observed variables, including: plant height, number of leaves, number of shoots per clump, number of flowers per clump, but had no significant effect on the observed variable number of stems. The best treatment was found at P5 treatment (200% NPK fertilizer + 200% manure) for observation variables of plant height, number of leaves, and number of shoots per clump, while the best treatment for the observation variable of the number of flowers per clump was found in the treatment P9 (NPK fertilizer 200%). The use of multivariate analysis has been successfully grouped and positioned each treatment in 2 dimensional graphs.

This study was to determine the time synchronization of biofertilizer application towards the growth and yield of 3 different legumes (green bean, yard long bean, mung bean) and examining that effect to the dynamics of the population of soil bacteria. The research design used was a simple randomized block design (RAK) with 8 treatments and 3 replications. ANOVA and multivariate analysis was used to detect the impact of treatment to selected variable such as: plant height, number of leaves, number of flowers and pods and yields (weight of pod). The result showed that the best application of VP3 biofertilizer on green bean yields was found under TKHA1V. Meanwhile, the greatest long bean yield were detected under the treatment of TKHB1G whilst the best treatment to obtain the highest mung bean yields was under TKHB2VG (soil were incubation for 1 week before planting and VP3 biofertilizer were applied at 7 days after planting). This difference is mainly due to the crop physiological behaviour. This information was important for basis recommendations of VP3 biofertilizer application in the field. Discriminant analysis can show treatment groupings based on the variables of agronomic properties and production of legumes, each of which has a different response to the given treatment with discriminant analysis values ranging from 69 – 72% for SCORE a (X axis) and 19 -23% for SCORE 2 (Y axis).

Zakat funds are a mandate of Allah SWT that must be distributed to mustahiq. This study aims to measure the feasibility of a village to be assisted by using zakat funds. The method used is a qualitative method using the Village Zakat Index (IDZ) model. The IDZ measurement includes five dimensions: economy, health, education, humanity, and dakwah. The research was conducted at Curug Depok. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, questionnaires, and expert judgment consisting of village officials, RT, and the community. The results showed that the IDZ value in Curug was categorized as functional with a score of 0.79. This finding indicates that Cukug is not prioritized to be assisted by zakat funds. The dimensions with the lowest IDZ value are the economic and human dimensions of 0.61 and 0.78. This data shows that zakat institutions can implement empowerment programs focusing on economic and humanitarian programs.

Indonesia merupakan negara yang dikenal dengan budidaya perikanannya. Pemberian pakan yang teratur berperngaruh pada sistem pengelolaan budidaya ikan yang baik agar memperoleh ikan yang berkualitas. Namun pada saat ini sistem pemberian pakan masih berorientasi pada sumber daya manusia yang masih manual sehingga mengakibatkan jadwal dan ukuran pemberian yang tidak menentu menjadikannya perbedaan setiap pemberian pakan. Perencanaan pemberian pakan harus tepat agar pertumbahan ikan cepat. Pada penelitian ini dibuatlah alat pakan ikan otomatis yang dinamakan “smart fish feeder”. Alat ini menggunakan sistem kontrol berbasis mikrokontroler yang terhubung dengan internet dan aplikasi android. Dalam rangkaian sistem kontrol menggunakan Arduino uno yang disambungkan dengan ESP32 sehingga terhubungkan dengan internet, selain itu juga terdapat beberapan komponen aktuator dan sensor. Sistem kontrol tersebut mendapatkan masukan untuk mengatur alat smart fish feeder melalui smartphone yang telah terinstal aplikasi smart fish feeder. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan, untuk sensor ultrasonik didapatkan rata – rata nilai kesalahan sebesar 6, persentase kesalahan sebesar 0.896%, dan keakurasian sebesar 99.104% dengan jarak pengukuran 5 – 25cm dan sensor loadcell didapatkan rata – rata nilai kesalahan sebesar 2.8, persentase kesalahan sebesar 0.067%, dan keakurasian sebesar 99.933%.

Purpose - This study aims to find empirical evidence of the effect of growth of Third-Party Funds (TPF) on profit growth with the role of the Sharia Supervisory Board (SSB) as moderator in Islamic banks in Indonesia. Method - This research is an associative research with a quantitative approach that used Panel Data Regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) as the data analysis methods. The research sample was 58 annual financial reports from 14 Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. Result - TPF had a significant positive effect on bank profit growth, but the role of the SSB could not moderate the growth of TPF on the profit growth of Islamic banks. Implication - The implications of this research can strengthen the belief that Islamic banks need to improve the quality of their services and products to maintain the trust of customers and prospective customers to place their funds in Islamic banks. Originality - The difference in this study when compared to other studies is the role of the Sharia Supervisory Board which is positioned as a moderating variable for the growth of Third-Party Funds on profit growth.

Distribution of freshwater sponges (Porifera: Spongillida) in Indonesia is currently insufficiently reported and underestimated compared to marine sponges. An inventory study on freshwater sponges in East Java after Indonesian independence in 1945 is yet to be carried out. For this reason, we reported new records of two freshwater species, Eunapius carteri (Bowerbank, 1863) and Oncosclera asiatica (Manconi and Ruengsawang, 2012) in Porong river, East Java, Indonesia. E. carteri species was originally described in Mumbai, India and its presence in Java was reported in 1927, 1928, and 1930. DNA barcoding and molecular phylogenetic analysis using mitochondrial COI was able to successfully identify our specimens as E. carteri, while analysis using the nuclear ITS markers placed our samples with other Eunapius species. Furthermore, in this study we report for the first time in East Java, Indonesia, the presence of O. asiatica. The O. asiatica species was originally described from Pong River located in Lower Mekong, Thailand. We concluded our specimens to be O. asiatica based on the morphology, skeleton, and spicule composition of the specimens that were similar to the samples recorded in Thailand. We were only successful in obtaining the COI sequence of O. asiatica. Furthermore, our samples did not group to the publicly available sequence of its congener, namely Oncosclera sp. Therefore, further molecular taxonomy and morphological analysis is needed to explore the diversity of freshwater sponges in general and to conduct species delimitation of E. carteri and O. asiatica in Java, Indonesia, and Asia

This study aims to determine the effect feeding review form a combination of yeast bread and Chlorella sp. against population growth and protein content of Brachionus plicatilis. The research method used is an experimental method with completely randomized design as design of Experiments. The treatment used is a combination of yeast and Chlorella sp. with different period, that was treatment A (Chlorella sp. 100%), treatment B (Chlorella sp. 25% and 75% baker's yeast), treatment C (Chlorella sp. 50% and 50 % of baker's yeast), treatment D (Chlorella sp. 75% and 25% baker's yeast), each treatment was repeated 5 times. Grouper (Epinephelus sp.) is a reef fish commodity that are currently utilized in a large enough scale. Of the types of grouper, tiger grouper has advantages compared to other types. This fish hight economic value because it has a delicious meat, nutritious and contain unsaturated fatty acids. Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) is a systematic approach to food safety management based on the principles there that aims to identify the hazards that tend to occur at every step of the food chain. One of the principles of HACCP is to determine the CCP using Decision Tree Diagram CCP (Decision Tree). Field Work Practice was conducted at PT. Alam Jaya, District Rungkut, Surabaya City, East Java Province on 18 January to 26 February , 2016. The working method that used in Field Work Practice is descriptive method with data collection included primary data and secondary data. Data is collected by observation, interview and active participation. CCP determination based on the presence of danger in a process that can not be removed in the next process. Determination of CCP based on the observation of every production process is known that the process of receiving raw materials and metal detectors are CCP.

This study aimed to determine the effect of Nitrobacter bacteria on specific growth rate (SGR), survival rate (SR), and feed convertion ratio (FCR) of African catfish (Clarias gariepinus) in aquaponics systems. The sample used was African catfish with a size of 5-7 cm as many as 720 individuals. The research method used was experimental design in the form of Completely Randomized Design (CRD). This study used 5 types of treatments with 4 repetitions. The P0 and P1 contain of 30 fish in each aquarium; 35 fish in P2; 40 fish in P3; and 45 fish in P4. The control group (P0) were treated without Nitrobacter administration and the other 4 intervention groups were given Nitrobacter 1 ml with a density of 1x108 CFU ml-1. The main parameters studied were SGR, SR and FCR of African catfish in different aquarium with different stocking densities. This research also studied the growth of water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica) also water quality conditions in aquaponics systems. The administration of Nitrobacter in aquaponics systems gave a significant effect on the SGR, SR, and FCR of catfish. The administration of Nitrobacter in an aquaponics system can give maximum effect if there are 45 fish stocking densities and 1 ml Nitrobacter with a concentration of 1x108 CFU ml-1.

Budidaya ikan lele dengan sistem kombinasi akuaponik dan bioflok merupakan sistem terpadu yang dinilai efektif dan efisien. Sistem akuaponik mereduksi amonia dengan menyerap air buangan budidaya atau air limbah dengan menggunakan akar tanaman. Bioflok merupakan sistem budidaya ikan intensif yang memanfaatkan prinsip daur ulang nutrien pakan yang terbuang melalui bakterial. Tujuan dilaksanakannnya pengabdian masyarakat sebagai upaya pengenalan budidaya ikan lele dengan sistem kombinasi akuaponik dan bioflok kepada masyarakat di Desa Purwoasri, Tegaldlimo, Banyuwangi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni-Oktober 2019, terdiri dari pengenalan sistem budidaya pada masyarakat melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan serta pendampingan pelaksanaan budidaya ikan lele dengan sistem kombinasi akuaponik dan bioflok dalam bentuk bangunan/demplot. Selanjutnya dilakukan evaluasi kepada mitra melalui pre-tes dan post-tes dan diakhiri dengan pembentukan kader. Kegiatan pengenalan sistem budidaya dilakukan kepada mitra yang terdiri dari PKK dan anggota karang taruna di desa Purwoasri sebanyak 20 orang. Berdasarkan evaluasi selama kegiatan ini berlangsung diketahui bahwa pengetahuan mitra tentang sistem budidaya meningkat hingga 75% dari evaluasi awal sebesar 40%. Selain itu, ketertarikan mitra terhadap sistem ini juga mengalami peningkatan dari 65% menjadi 89%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat memberikan dampak positif bagi mitra.

AMD diagnosis was evaluated by retinal specialists based on color fundus photography and optical coherence tomography. The polymorphisms on CFH Y402H and ARMS2 A69S were analyzed by PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP), whereas ARMS2 del443ins54 was evaluated by PCR-based assay.Results: Significant allelic associations with nAMD were detected on all polymorphisms (P< 0.05), with stronger association with the ARMS2 A69S (OR 3.13; 95% CI 2.08– 4.71; P< 0.001) and ARMS2 del443ins54 (OR 3.28; 95% CI 2.17– 4.95; P< 0.001) polymorphisms than with CFH Y402H (OR 2.08; 95% CI 1.08– 3.99; P=0.028). Genotype analysis showed a statistical difference between nAMD and the control group for all polymorphisms (P< 0.05). However, the association with nAMD was weaker for CFH Y402H (P=0.043) than for ARMS2 A69S and ARMS2 del443ins54 (P< 0.001). A significant interaction between ARMS2 A69S and hypertension was documented (OR 9.53; 95% CI 3.61– 25.1; P< 0.001).Conclusion: Our findings indicate that ARMS2 A69S and ARMS2 del443ins54 polymorphisms are strongly associated with the risk of nAMD for the first time in an Indonesian population. The research aims to explore the social disclosure of Islamic banks in Indonesia with an emphasis on aspects of social justice and Maqashid shariah in a long period. The method used is a qualitative case study with a content analysis approach to assess the five themes of disclosure of social justice in the annual report of Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) in 1999-2018. The results showed the theme of sharia compliance had the highest level of disclosure, while the theme of social project funding had the lowest level of disclosure. In general, BSM has explained the social aspects of the community in the company's annual report. Besides, the five themes of the disclosure have led to the five basic human needs in the Maqashid shariah of Al-Shatibi. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi pengungkapan sosial bank syariah di Indonesia dengan penekanan pada aspek keadilan sosial dan maqashid syariah dalam rentang waktu yang panjang. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif studi kasus dengan pendekatan analisis isi untuk menilai 5 tema pengungkapan keadilan sosial pada laporan tahunan bank syariah mandiri (BSM) tahun 1999-2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tema kepatuhan syariah memiliki tingkat pengungkapan tertinggi, sedangkan tema pendanaan proyek sosial memiliki tingkat pengungkapan terendah. Secara umum, BSM telah menjelaskan aspek sosial masyarakat pada laporan tahunan perusahaan. Selain itu, kelima tema pengungkapan telah mengarah pada lima kebutuhan dasar manusia dalam maqashid syariah Al Syatibi.

The potential of freshwater fish cultivation in Indonesia is very large and is increasing every year. The high potential of freshwater and ornamental fisheries commodities and consumption must be developed through domestic and export marketing. The distribution carries the risk of entering and spreading fish pests and diseases, so is it required identification or quarantine is needed to avoid negative impacts from the distribution of fishery commodities. One of the infectious diseases which is known to attack fishery commodities in Indonesia is bacterial disease. Bacteria can cause high mortality in fish and loss for farmers. The purpose of this study is to identification bacteria in freshwater fish commodities. The study was conducted in December 2018 - January 2019 at the Fish Quarantine Center, Quality Control and Safety of Fisheries Products in Surabaya I. Identification of bacteria in this study using conventional methods. The parameters observed were external clinical symptoms that appeared on the body of the fish and internal pathology. The material examined in this study were The samples examined during Field Work Practices were Goldfish, Catfish fry, Common carp, and Koi fish with a total of 64 samples. This research was observative, then the data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The Result bacteria identified in freshwater fish commodities from 64 samples were dominated by Aeromonas hydrophila, Pseudomonas anguilliseptica, Streptococcus sp., Plesiomonas shigelloides, and Micrococcus sp. In intensive aquaculture farming activities will generate solid waste and liquid waste that comes from feces and leftover fish feed. The waste accumulation can lead to deterioration of water quality that affects the physiological processes, behavior, growth, and mortality of fish. Technological innovation is needed for the management of water quality and increase productivity as a result of shrinkage of cultivated land. One of the technological innovations that can be applied, namely the incorporation of fish farming with crops through Aquaponics system. This study aims to determine the effects of water spinach optimum density to absorb waste ammonia (NH3), nitrate (NO3) and nitrite (NO2) optimally to increase the survival rate and growth rate of african catfish (Clarias sp.) intensive As well as to see its effect on conversion rates and feed efficiency with aquaponics system. The method used is the experimental method. The experimental research is used to determine the effect of certain variable towards a group under controlled conditions. The results of measurements of ammonia levels during P0 showed that the treatment significantly different (p 0.05). The measurement results also showed that the nitrate content whole of observation results showed that all treatments there were no significant differences (p> 0.05). The best feed conversion ratio was found in P3 treatment of 1.08. The best feed efficiency was found in P3 treatment 92,25%. The highest survival rate was found in P3 treatment (88.69%) in maintenance medium and lowest survival rate was in P0 treatment (26,71%) without water spinach (control). The highest specific growth rate was found in P3 treatment (1.15%), while the lowest specific growth rate was in treatment P0 (0.79%).Results of water quality measurement supporting all treatments decreased and increased. The supporting water quality are temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen. The decrease and increase in support water quality is caused by environmental factors such as weather. Other parameters were observed in addition to supporting the water quality is water spinach plant growth. Value growth water spinach is best found in treatment P3. In the treatment P3 water spinach growth rose 5.14 cm with an initial size of 10.92 into 16.06.

The coastal waters of Wonorejo is part of the East Coast Surabaya which receive the brunt of watersheds (DAS) from other rivers. The main source of heavy metal wastes in the River on the downstream Wonorejo pass several industries suspected of disposing of hazardous waste. One of the main heavy metal which is a toxic element and effect on aquatic ecological systems are cadmium (Cd).Mud crab is one potential biota found in the mangrove area of Wonorejo River Surabaya can accumulate heavy metals. This research was carried out in April 2018 with sampling at three stations with time each week for three times.Analysis of heavy metals cadmium (Cd) in mud crabs (Scylla sp.), water and sediments carried out in the laboratory of nutrition of the Faculty of public health University Airlangga. Research method using observation which is channeled in the waters and farmed in Wonorejo Surabaya. Mud crab meat samples, water and sediments tested using Atomic Absoption Spectrophotometry (AAS). The results of the test concentration of heavy metals cadmium (Cd) in mud crab meat on the river Wonorejo i.e. 0.032 mg.kg-1 where the value of these levels are still below the threshold of quality raw heavy metal Cd on crustaceans i.e. 1 mg.kg-1 (SNI 7387:2009). The Cd content in water of Wonorejo river in between 0.014-0.02 ppm and on sediments between 0.234-0.416 mg/kg. Correlation of cadmium content in water with crab meat in the correlation coefficient shows of Wonorejo -0.22 (a weak correlation, a negative direction). Then, the correlation of the content of cadmium in sediments with crab meat in the correlation coefficient shows of Wonorejo 0.285 (of correlation is weak, the positive direction).

The aims of this study is to determine the number and distribution of the chromosomes of three Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) varieties as basic information in the process of identifying the characteristics of varieties in tilapia. This research was conducted in August-October 2016, at the Unair Banyuwangi PSDKU laboratory. The research procedures included rearing of test fish, immersion of test fish with colchicine solution and tissue preservation, preparation of preparations and staining, and observation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that each variety of tilapia (black, red, and white) showed a difference in the spread of chromosomes, while the number of chromosomes was the same, namely 44 pieces.

This study examined capital market integration and contagion effect among ASEAN and UK capital markets. Data analysis will be divided to before the Brexit (January 2012 – 22 June 2016) and after the Brexit (24 June 2016 – December 2016). The analytical tool used is Vector Autoregressive (VAR) to analyze the integration between capital markets and Granger Causality to detect any contagion effect between capital markets. The conclusion of this research is existance of Brexit event can change the segmented ASEAN-5 region become more integrated. It’s found that the Singapore capital market is a capital market that recieves a contagion effect from the UK capital market before and after Brexit. As for the Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand’s capital markets only received contagion effects between regions, except Philippines capital market after Brexit does’t accept contagion effect from all countries.

Ikan Arwana super red merupakan ikan yang memiliki warna dan bentuk yang mengagumkan. Ikan jenis ini banyakdicari oleh kolektor ikan hias karena dianggap dapat mendatangkan hoki. Permintaan pasar yang terus menngkat tidak dibarengi dengan meningkatnya produksi ikan dari produsen. Diperlukan adanya informasi tentang pemijahan alami dari ikan arwana super red. Tujuan praktek kerja lapang yang telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui standard operasional yang benar tentang pemijahan alami ikan arwana super red di PT. Arwana, dengan mengetahui standard operasional teknik pemijahan ikan arwana dapat ditemukan juga hambatan yang muncul saat proses pemijahan ikan arwana super red. Kegiatan pemijahan secara alami pada ikan Arwana Super Red meliputi persiapan kolam dengan melakukan pengeringan kolam tanah selama satu minggu. Langkah selanjutnya adalah menanam tanaman sejenis padi. Setelah itu dilakukan pengisian air pada kolam tanah. Seleksi induk untuk memilih induk yang matang gonad kemudian memasukanikan sebanyak 60 ekor per kolam dengan perbandingan jantan betina 1:1 dengan jumlah jantan 30 dan betina 30. Langkah selanjutya dilakukan pemberian pakan berupa katak hidup yang telah disterilkan dengan menggunakan air mengalir. Setelah satu bulan ikan arwana memijah secara alami. Langkah terakhir adalah melakukan pemanenan benih.

Ikan lele merupakan salah satu jenis ikan yang sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan sebagai ikan konsumsi. Permintaan pasar ikan lele di Indonesia semakin meningkat sehingga produksi yang dibutuhkan semakin tinggi, untuk itu dengan penambahan tepung azolla sebagai salah satu campuran bahan formulasi pakan ikan lele dibutuhkan untuk memacu pertumbuhan atau meningkatkan produktivitas ikan lele. Azolla sp. merupakan tanaman paku air yang selama ini dianggap sebagai gulma oleh para petani sehingga tidak dimanfaatkan, namun Azolla sp. memiliki kandungan protein yang cukup tinggi berkisar antara 24-30%sehingga dengan penambahan tanaman Azolla dapat menurunkan biaya produksi serta mempercepat pertumbuhan ikan lele. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tanaman Azolla sp..pada formulasi pakan terhadap nilai kecernaan protein dan kecernaan energi ikan lele menggunakan teknik pembedahan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dan perlakuan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan perbedaan jumlah persen Azolla sp. yaitu menggunakan P0 sebagai kontrol dengan penambahan Azolla sp. 0%, P1 penambahan Azolla sp. 5%, P2 penambahan Azolla sp. 10%, P3 penambahan Azolla sp. 15%, P4 penambahan Azolla sp. 20%. Kemudian dilakukan ulangan sebanyak 4 kali. Hasil Penelitian ini menggunakan penambahan Azolla sp. terhadap nilai kecernaan protein berbeda nyata (P0,05). Untuk kadar kecernaan protein tertinggi pada perlakuan P3 dengan penambahan Azolla sp. 15% dan kadar kecernaan energi tertinggi pada perlakuan P2 dengan penambahan Azolla sp. 10%.

Ikan lele dumbo (Clarias sp.) sebagai komoditas air tawar memiliki permintaan yang tinggi. Salah satu cara untuk memenuhi kebutuhan permintaan lele dumbo adalah perbaikan kualitas air sehingga produktifitas ikan semakin meningkat. Tujuan penelitian guna mengetahui pengaruh dari pemberian probiotik yang mengandung bakteri heterotrof berbeda pada perairan dan pengaruhnya terhadap kadar ammonia dan kadar nitrit pada media budidaya lele dumbo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Ikan lele dumbo dipelihara selama 30 hari dengan empat perlakuan dan empat ulangan yaitu P1 (kontrol), P2 (probiotik A), P3 (probiotik B), dan P4 (probiotik C). Udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) merupakan suatu komoditas unggulan industri perikanan Indonesia. Pada budidaya udang vaname, muncul beberapa kendala, yaitu adanya serangan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus dan bakteri. Hal tersebut dapat diatasi dengan pemberian imunostimulan untuk pencegahan penyakit melalui peningkatan sistem imun udang. Kitosan adalah salah satu bahan yang dapat digunakan sebagai imunostimulan. Kitosan dapat meningkatkan sistem imun. Stres merupakan respon fisiologis yang terjadi saat hewan berusaha mempertahankan kondisi tubuhnya dari perubahan lingkungan. Faktor lingkungan seperti suhu, oksigen terlarut dan salinitas dapat menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan jumlah total hemosit. Jumlah total hemosit dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui status kesehatan udang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek penambahan kitosan pada pakan terhadap perubahan jumlah total hemosit dan daya tahan terhadap stres salinitas pada udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan serta empat ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah penambahan kitosan sebesar 0 mg/kg pakan (A1), 250 mg/kg pakan (A2), 500 mg/kg pakan (A3) dan 1000 mg/kg pakan (A4). Parameter yang diamati adalah jumlah total hemosit selama 14 hari pemeliharaan, 24 jam dan 48 jam setelah uji stres salinitas, kelangsungan hidup saat uji stres salinitas dan kualitas air. Ikan baung (Mystus nemurus) merupakan komoditas air tawar asli Indonesia yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi. Kendala yang dihadapi dalam usaha pengembangan pakan buatan ikan baung untuk benih adalah pemanfaatan protein nabati dalam pakan belum optimal. Bahan-bahan nabati seperti tepung bungkil kedelai, jagung dan dedak padi. Kelompok tumbuhan dalam bentuk biji-bijian seperti padi, kacang-kacangan dan kelapa di dalamnya terdapat asam fitat. Asam fitat dapat bereaksi membentuk senyawa komplek dengan kalsium, magnesium, tembaga, seng, karbohidrat dan protein sehingga dapat mengurangi kecernaan nutrien tersebut. Salah satu enzim eksonegus pemecah asam fitat adalah enzim fitase. Fitase adalah enzim yang mampu menghidrolisa asam fitat menjadi inositol dan asam fosfat. Inositol merupakan salah satu vitamin yang diperlukan untuk pertumbuhan normal tubuh, pemeliharaan dan reproduksi. Asam fosfat berperan dalam aktivitas metabolisme dalam tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai kecernaan protein dan energi ikan baung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April – Juni di Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan, Universitas Airlangga. Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan rancangan acak lengkap. terdiri atas lima perlakuan dan empat kali ulangan. Parameter utama nilai kecernaan protein dan enegiikan baung yang diujikan di Laboratorium Pakan Ternak, Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan, Universitas Airlangga. Parameter pendukung yang diamati yaitu kualitas air pemeliharaan ikan baung. Penambahan enzim fitase pada dosis 450 mg dapat meningkatkan nilai kecernaan protein dengan rata-rata 97,18% - 97,86%. Penambahan enzim fitase pada dosis 450 mg dapat menaikkan kecernaan energi dengan rata-rata 96,97% - 97,99%.

Lele mudah beradaptasi dengan lingkungan air tawar. Prospek tersebut membuat ikan lele mendapat perhatian bagi pengusaha untuk mengelolanya. Pakan pada akuakultur berperan penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan perikanan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan ikan. Tingkat pertumbuhan ikan yang baik sangat bergantung pada formula pakan yang didasarkan pada kebutuhan ikan itu sendiri. Pemenuhan pakan ikan yang memiliki kandungan gizi sempurna hanya mengandalkan bahan pakan impor yang sangat mahal, oleh karena itu untuk mempercepat pertumbuhan dan menghemat biaya pakan diperlukan tambahan bahan pakan alternatif. Limbah padat Surimi terdiri dari kepala, kulit, duri dan tulang ikan. Perlakuan secara biologis yang dikenal dengan proses fermentasi adalah memanfaatkan kemajuan bioteknologi mikroba dan cara alternatif untuk mengoptimalkan daur ulang limbah perikanan. Prinsip kerja proses fermentasi yaitu memecah senyawa kompleks menjadi senyawa sederhana yang mudah dicerna oleh mikroorganisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan empat jenis perlakuan dengan lima ulangan pada masing-masing perlakuan. Substitusi fermentasi limbah padat ikan surimi swanggi pada P0, P1, P2 dan P3 adalah 0%, 25%, 50% dan 75%. One such application is in the medical field for teeth color matching systems. The color matching technique is a feasible solution for classifying patients’ teeth images to evaluate the suitable treatment of tooth replacement in dentistry. However the lighting conditions of the environment and visual teeth color deficiency will be influenced or affected by the color matching performance.Methods: This paper proposes the comparative analysis of a color matching system, using K-nearest neighbors (KNN), neural network (NN), and decision tree (DT) algorithms to classify and recognize 16 types of dental images of persons that used several extracted features, from shade guide of teeth, with a digital camera, ranging from 250–300 lux lighting value. The extracted features are produced from RGB, HSV, and Lab color moment characteristic calculation of tooth samples. Those features were compared with input images using euclidean distance value.Results: KNN algorithm in RGB characteristic achieves 97.5% within only a 0.02 second computation time.Conclusion: KNN algorithm in RGB characteristic provides the best performance when compared to the other approaches.Keywords: KNN algorithm, teeth recognition, color matching, color moment

The making of main canals in oil palm plantation areas, especially on peatlands, will affect changes in the physical, chemical and biological properties of peatlands, will affect the process of oxidation and reduction of peatland which affects the regulation of changes in gas emissions, especially the concentration of gases such as: carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrous oxide (N2O), methane (CH4). The research objective was to determine the effect of the making of main canals on the rate of CO2 emissions from peat soil surface for each difference in the measurement distance from the drainage channel (25, 50 and 100) m in the block of oil palm plant age (3,4,5 and 6) years after planting. The average rate of emissions in Palm Oil Plants Age 3 Years after Planting at a distance of 25 m equal to 147.87 mg C m2 Hour1 , the distance of 50 m is 156.17 mg C m2 Hour1 and a distance of 100 m amounted to 148.01 mg C m2 Hour1, Palm Oil Plants Age 4 Years after Planting at a distance of 25 m equal to 247.10 mg C m2 Hour1 , the distance of 50 m is 248.90 mg C m2 Hour1 and a distance of 100 m amounted to 257.10 mg C m2 Hour1, Palm Oil Plants Age 5 Years after Planting at a distance of 25 m equal to 147,87 mg C m2 Hour1 , the distance of 50 m is 156,17 mg C m2 Hour1 and a distance of 100 m amounted to 148,01mg C m2 Hour1. Indonesia faces a double burden of communicable and non-communicable diseases, including metabolic and degenerative problems. Delay in the detection of diabetic nephropathy (DN) as one of the chronic microvascular complications is often seen, leading to the need for hemodialysis due to the end-stage renal disease (ESRD). An assessment of diabetes mellitus (DM) control target achievement, based on the guideline from the Indonesian Society of Endocrinology (Perkumpulan Endokrinologi Indonesia, PERKENI), and nephropathy early detection was performed in 54 Type-2 DM patients from 5 private hospitals in Pekanbaru Riau, Indonesia, from November 2018 to September 2019. Results showed poor achievement of DM control with 61.1% had abnormal body mass index, 57.5% had HbA1c>7%, and 77.7% had LDL serum >100 mg/dL. Nevertheless, most patients achieved good blood pressure control (74%). A high percentage of nephropathy-proteinuria was seen (40.7%) with 40.9% of them revealed renal insufficiency classified as chronic kidney disease (CKD) stage 3 and 4. There was a significant correlation between proteinuria and declined GFR (p=0.016), onset of DM (p=0.02), and diastolic blood pressure (p=0.03). No correlation was found between HbA1c and declined GFR, which may be due to the cross-sectional nature of the study. It will be interesting to perform a prospective study on proteinuria modification as a predictor of nephropathy early detection in DM patients since kidney biopsy and urine albumin creatinine ratio assessment are not available in primary health care services in remote areas.

Kerang abalon merupakan salah satu komoditas laut yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi, karena daya jualnya dipasar ekspor sudah terbukti hingga mencapai Rp 600.000,- / kg. Salah satu faktor pengembangan abalon menjadi suatu industri akuakultur di Indonesia disebabkan adanya permintaan konsumsi pasar yang terus meningkat, sementara itu jumlah pasokan produk budidaya masih terbatas dan masih mengandalkan penangkapan dari alam. Tujuan dari Praktek kerja Lapang adalah untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari Teknik Pendederan Kerang Abalon (Haliotis squamata) di Balai Besar Penelitian dan Pengembangan Budidaya Laut Gondol-Bali. Kegiatan Praktek Kerja Lapang akan dilaksanakan di Balai Besar Penelitian dan Pengembangan Budidaya Laut (BBPPBL) Dusun Gondol, Desa Penyabangan, Kecamatan Gerokgak, Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali, Provinsi Bali. Praktek Kerja Lapang dilaksanakan pada 18 Januari 2016 – 18 Februari 2016. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pengambilan data meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, partisipasi aktif, dan studi pustaka. Pendederan kerang abalon dilaksanakan oleh pihak Hatchery Abalon di Balai Penelitian dan Pengembangan Budidaya laut Gondol-Bali meliputi pemanenan juvenile, pemindahan ke keranjang pendederan, pemberian pakan, kualitas air, seleksi kerang abalon dan pemeliharaan. Kualitas pendederan kerang abalon yang dilakukan oleh BBPPBL Gondol-Bali sudah memenuhi standar yang baik untuk budidaya kerang abalon.
