Houseplant cultivation has become increasingly popular, allowing individuals to bring nature into their homes. However, successful indoor gardening requires careful monitoring of soil parameters to ensure optimal plant growth. To address this need, sensor technology and Internet of Things (IoT) devices are utilized to monitor soil temperature and moisture levels, which play crucial roles in plant growth. Various soil factors are sensed and collected using an IoT-based microcontroller, with data transmission facilitated by a Message Queue Telemetry Transport (MQTT) broker. Visualization of the data is achieved through the Node-RED programming tool, simplifying dashboard creation for easy monitoring. Furthermore, the collected data is stored in a MySQL server, enabling further analysis through SQL queries. The day is divided into four quarters with six-hour intervals, allowing for soil data collection using temperature and moisture sensors. The resulting information on the dashboard facilitates informed decision-making to enhance soil conditions for optimal indoor plant growth. Experimentation has revealed a reduction in soil temperature of 3°C during daytime due to air conditioning operation, while soil moisture content remains consistently between 60 to 65% during early mornings and late evenings. Additionally, emphasis is placed on remote management using IoT systems, enabling monitoring of plant growth even when access is limited. Ewing's sarcoma is uncommon malignancy of childhood, frequently involving the mandible. The occurrence in maxilla is rare. It is histopathologically characterized by sheets of round cells positive for CD99. Although the prognosis is poor but early diagnosis and long term follow up can improve the survival. This article presents a rare case of Ewing's sarcoma of maxilla in a 15 year old male patient showing excessive fibro-osseous response which is not a frequent presentation. A retrospective analysis of cases of Ewings sarcoma of maxilla published in the English litreture is reviewed. In our case, diagnosis was confirmed by immunohistochemistry where sheets of round tumor cells were positive for CD 99. Ewings sarcoma of maxilla is a rare and aggressive tumor. Leiomyosarcoma (LMS) is an uncommon malignant spindle cell tumor of the head and neck region. The occurrence is particularly rare in the buccal mucosa of the oral cavity. It is a rapidly growing tumor with aggressive behavior and poor prognosis. Method: This article presents a rare case of primary leimyosarcoma of the buccal mucosa in a 35 year old female and retrospective analysis of primary oral LMS published in the English literature since past 20 years is done. Diagnosis was confirmed by immunohistochemistry profile showing positivity for vimentin, smooth muscle actin (SMA), high proliferative index displayed by Ki-67, focal positivity for pan-CK and negativity for S-100. Conclusion: Based on the presence of malignant spindle cells showing positivity for vimentin and SMA, a diagnosis of leiomyosarcoma was made. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

People with HIV/HBsAg in India frequently encounter discrimination while seeking and receiving health care services. The knowledge and attitudes of health care workers (HCWs) influences the willingness and ability of people with HIV/HBsAg to access care, and the quality of the care they receive. The objective of this study was to asses HIV/HBsAg-related knowledge, attitudes and risk perception among students and dental HCWs. A cross-sectional survey was conducted on 250 students and 120 dental HCWs in the form of objective questionnaire. Information was gathered regarding demographic details (age, sex, duration of employment, job category); HIV/ HBsAg-related knowledge and attitudes; risk perception; and previous experience caring for HIV-positive patients. The HCWs in this study generally had a positive attitude to care for the people with HIV/HBsAg. However, this was tempered by substantial concerns about providing care, and the fear of occupational infection with HIV/HBsAg. A continuing dental education program was conducted to resolve all the queries found interfering to provide care to HIV/HBsAg patients. But even after the queries were resolved the care providing capability was not attained. These findings show that even with advanced knowledge and facilities the attitude of dental HCWs and students require more strategic training with regards to the ethics and moral stigma associated with the dreaded infectious diseases (HIV/HBsAg).

Mucoepidermoid lung tumours are uncommon neoplasms comprising of 0.2% of all the lung tumours and historically included under the term bronchial adenomas. This is a case report of a bronchial tumour in the hilar region present since 3 years. The neoplasm could be easily classified as a mucoepidermoid tumour of low malignant potential, as it resembled the histologically identical lesion in the main salivary glands. The case is reported for its rarity and for the histological evaluation of the malignant potential in an apparently clinically benign neoplasm.
