This study aims to identify the potential sites based on a set of decision criteria and employ a Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Geographical data were processed into standardized layers by utilizing the Geographic Information System (GIS) capability of ArcGIS Desktop. The final suitability maps were generated from the product of the weighted analysis for factors layers, Boolean Raster from the constraints model, and wind speed datasets. Eight scenarios were produced in which Scenario 3A and Scenario 4A were selected as the most preferred set-up for bottom-fixed set-up and floating-type platforms, respectively. These two scenarios adopted the averaged factors and 200 m altitude datasets as they provided the highest technical resource potential for wind energy extraction of 710.78 GW for shallow bathymetric maps and 4,054.44 GW for deep waters. Locations with a suitability score index of 0.6 – 1.0 were observed as having good quality wind resources ranging from 9.07 m/s to 11.67 m/s. They were in the north of Ilocos Norte, the southeast portion of Oriental Mindoro, the southern part of Iloilo province, and some sections in Guimaras Strait. Finally, Wind Turbine #1 (Enercon E-126 7.580) was favored as it showed the largest Annual Energy Production (AEP) of 30,336,475 MWh/y for Scenario 3A and 172,894,869 MWh/y for Scenario 4A.

Background: The prevalence of falls involving people with intellectual disabilities (ID) is high in comparison with the general population. There has been little evidence to date on the contributing risk factors. The objective of this review was to identify risk factors for people with intellectual disabilities. Method: Literature searches were conducted using electronic databases to explore evidence on the subject, and narrative synthesis was employed to analyse the results. Results: Seven risk factors were identified: decreasing physical ability, epilepsy, paretic conditions, impulsiveness, previous falls, incontinence and non-use of assistive equipment. Thematic analysis identified factors across the four concepts: the person, the situation, ongoing and protective factors. Conclusion: Factors for falls involving people with intellectual disabilities are dynamic and multifactorial. Some are specific to the population; however, further research is required to develop the understanding of the possible reasons. The findings have implications across policy, education, practice and research.

Vascular networks within a living organism are complex, multi-dimensional, and challenging to image capture. Radio-angiographic studies in live animals require a high level of infrastructure and technical investment in order to administer costly perfusion mediums whose signals metabolize and degrade relatively rapidly, diminishing within a few hours or days. Additionally, live animal specimens must not be subject to long duration scans, which can cause high levels of radiation exposure to the specimen, limiting the quality of images that can be captured. Lastly, despite technological advances in live-animal specimen imaging, it is quite difficult to minimize or prevent movement of a live animal, which can cause motion artifacts in the final data output. It is demonstrated here that through the use of postmortem perfusion protocols of radiopaque silicone polymer mediums and ex-vivo organ harvest, it is possible to acquire a high level of vascular signal in preclinical specimens through the use of micro-computed tomographic (microCT) imaging. Additionally, utilizing high-order rendering algorithms, it is possible to further derive vessel morphometrics for qualitative and quantitative analysis.
