University orchestras are institutions within universities that promote musical practice among higher education students and are an educational agent that contributes to the complementary training of students. The aim of this study is to analyze the level of self-esteem and Soft Skills of the performers of university orchestras based on a series of formative variables to know their characteristics. For this purpose, a sample of 201 interpreters of university orchestras in Europe was used. Among the main results we observed that self-esteem does not show significant results, however Soft Skills are benefited in this type of performers, concluding that this type of institutions are an excellent training complement for the development of university students., Las orquestas universitarias son instituciones dentro de las Universidades que fomentan la práctica musical entre estudiantes de estudios superiores y, resultan un agente educativo que contribuyen a la formación complementaria del alumnado. El objetivo de este estudio es analizar el nivel de autoestima y destrezas transversales de los intérpretes de orquestas universitarias y su relación con variables formativas. Se dispone de una muestra de 201 intérpretes de orquestas universitarias de varios países de Europa. Entre los principales resultados se destaca que la autoestima es baja y no se asocia con las variables formativas. Sin embargo, tienen un importante dominio de las diferentes competencias transversales y se asocian con las variables formativas. Se concluye que la participación en orquestas universitarias durante el periodo de formación académica en instituciones de Educación Superior resulta un excelente complemento formativo para el desarrollo del alumnado universitario.

This study1 aims to describe university students' perceptions about their university's Diversity and Global Citizenship (D&GC) awareness training and its association with certain specific socio-demographic and academic variables, with the objective of introducing adjustments in university training programmes that meet current demands on this topic. A questionnaire was distributed to the students of five European universities and sent through the platforms of these universities. Descriptive statistics were used to describe the basic characteristics of the data, and Pearson's chi-square test was used to determine the association between variables. The results show that a high percentage of students perceive that their university is raising awareness about D&CG, especially in Romania. The university students who most frequently carry out D&CG training activities are between 24 and 30 years old and live in Spain. In addition, a high percentage of students consider it important or very important for universities to conduct D&CG courses. Residents in Romania, Lithuania, and Spain prefer a hybrid format for these courses, with the exception of Finnish students who prefer an online format and German students who prefer a face-to-face format., Este estudio1 tiene como objetivo describir la percepción que tienen los estudiantes universitarios sobre la formación que imparte su Universidad para concienciarles sobre Diversidad y Ciudadanía Global (DyCG) y su asociación con determinadas variables socio-demográficas y académicas, con la finalidad de poder introducir cambios en los programas de formación universitaria que respondan a las demandas actuales sobre esta temática. Se distribuyó un cuestionario entre el alumnado de cinco universidades europeas, el cual fue enviado a través de las plataformas de estas universidades. Se utilizaron estadísticas descriptivas para describir las características básicas de los datos y la prueba Chi-cuadrado de Pearson para determinar la asociación entre las variables. Los resultados permiten afirmar que un porcentaje elevado del alumnado percibe que su Universidad está creando conciencia sobre la DyCG, sobre todo en Rumania. El alumnado universitario que realiza con mayor frecuencia actividades de formación DyCG tiene entre 24 y 30 años y reside en España. Además, un alto porcentaje del alumnado considera importante o muy importante que las universidades realicen cursos DyCG. Los residentes en Rumania, Lituania y España prefieren que estos cursos tengan un formato híbrido; salvo los estudiantes finlandeses que prefieren un formato online y los alemanes que prefieren un formato presencial.

Objective: To determine the state of the art regarding preventive training programs on postural hygiene and back health in an educational context. Introduction: The prevalence of non-specific back pain in population reaches alarming figures and its causes are largely preventable. Adequate training in postural education is necessary along students' academic career. Method: Retrospective descriptive study, using the PRISMA method. Results: 61 original articles published from 2017 to 2021 have been analysed. Discussion: Postural education programs have demonstrated their effectiveness and have provided benefits for the participating students.

Numerous scientific studies confirm that music is a tool to improve and develop interpersonal skills. These skills, such as leadership, teamwork, communication, interpersonal skills, or coordination. are essential at present and their acquisition is necessary to adapt to a constantly changing society. The aim of this study is to analyze the contribution of music to the development of soft skills in educational contexts. To achieve the objective of the study, a systematic review of the last five years was carried out to find the existing empirical evidence. Among the main results, we observed that soft skills improve when they are developed through music in educational contexts, concluding that educational interventions with music allow for participants to develop these skills.

INTRODUCCIÓN. La ansiedad en el ámbito escolar, la ansiedad generalizada y la tendencia a usar determinados tipos de causas para explicar los resultados académicos pueden afectar la motivación del alumnado hacia la Lengua y la Literatura. En este sentido, la presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la posible existencia de perfiles de ansiedad en estudiantes de Educación Primaria e identificar sus estilos atribucionales para los éxitos y fracasos en Lengua y Literatura. MÉTODO. Se administraron las versiones españolas de la Visual Analogue Scale for Anxiety-Revised (VAA-R) y la Sydney Attribution Scale (SAS) a 1271 estudiantes de 8 a 11 años (M = 9.65, DE = 1.23), siendo el 50.59% chicos. Se usó la técnica latent class analysis (LCA) para hallar los perfiles y se ejecutaron análisis de varianza (ANOVA) para identificar las diferencias interclase en los estilos atribucionales. RESULTADOS. El LCA reveló cuatro perfiles de ansiedad. Los perfiles alta, moderada y baja ansiedad se caracterizaron por mostrar altas (z = 1.04; 0.96; 0.76), moderadas (z = -0.08; -0.05; 0.03) y bajas puntuaciones (z = -0.88; -0.68; -1.06) en los tres factores de la VAA-R, mientras que el perfil baja ansiedad de tipo escolar puntuó bajo solo en los dos factores referentes a la ansiedad ante situaciones del ámbito escolar (z = -1.11; -0.97). Se hallaron diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre todos los grupos (p < .001) y diferencias con tamaño del efecto grande entre los perfiles alta ansiedad y baja ansiedad de tipo escolar (d = 0.98 y 0.99), mostrando el primer grupo una mayor tendencia a atribuir sus fracasos a su baja capacidad y esfuerzo. DISCUSIÓN. Los estudiantes con alta ansiedad son los más vulnerables a la desmotivación, pero es necesario profundizar en otras variables como la familia para perfeccionar las estrategias didácticas que sugieren estos resultados.

In this sense, the present research aimed to analyze the possible existence of anxiety profiles in Primary Education students and to identify their attributional styles for successes and failures in Language and Literature. METHOD. The Spanish versions of the Visual Analogue Scale for Anxiety-Revised (VAA-R) and the Sydney Attribution Scale (SAS) were administered to 1,271 students aged 8 to 11 (M = 9.65, SD = 1.23), being 50.59% boys. The latent class analysis (LCA) technique was used to find the profiles and analyses of variance (ANOVA) were carried out to identify interclass differences regarding attributional styles. RESULTS. The LCA revealed four anxiety profiles. The High, Moderate, and Low Anxiety profiles were characterized by high (z = 1.04; 0.96; 0.76), moderate (z = -0.08; -0.05; 0.03) and low scores (z = -0.88; -0.68; -1.06) on the three factors of the VAA-R, while the Low Anxiety School-type profile scored low only on the two factors referring to anxiety to situations in the school setting (z = -1.11; -0.97). Statistically significant differences were found among all groups (p < .001) and differences with a large effect size were identified between the High Anxiety and Low Anxiety School-type profiles (d = 0.98 and 0.99), with the first group showing a greater tendency to attribute their failures to their low ability and effort. DISCUSSION. Students with High Anxiety are the most vulnerable to demotivation, but it is necessary to delve into other variables such as family to perfect the teaching strategies suggested by these results.

Los adolescentes que muestran una tendencia a rechazar la escuela podrían estar experimentando también una baja motivación hacia el aprendizaje. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo identificar perfiles de adolescentes con comportamiento de rechazo escolar (CRE) y examinar si estos posibles grupos difieren en autoatribuciones académicas. Participan 1183 estudiantes españoles (53.7% chicas) de 14 a 17 años (M = 15.58, DT = 1.08). Responden a las versiones españolas de la School Refusal Assessment Scale-Revised (SRAS-R) y la Sydney Attribution Scale (SAS). Se hallan cuatro perfiles de CRE mediante la técnica de Latent Profile Analysis: no-CRE, CRE moderadamente alto, CRE ansioso y CRE alto. Se identifican diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre los cuatro grupos en todas las autoatribuciones académicas examinadas. Los perfiles CRE ansioso y alto muestran una mayor tendencia a atribuir sus fracasos académicos a la capacidad, mientras que tienden a atribuir menos sus éxitos a causas internas. At the rate of social changes, new demands arise that must be solved through the unit of action generated from state regulations, the provisions of the civil code and regional legislation in order to protect the minor in situations of risk or distress . For this reason, the purpose of this study is to identify variables related to the perception of management teams and psycho-socio-educational personnel about the quality of their work in residential care centers. A sample of 122 professionals who worked in this sector in the province of Pontevedra was studied, by means of the design and application of an assessment scale of residential care that collects their opinions about professional quality, admission and permanence, resources, adequacy normative and future perfectives. The non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive-inferential study of differences between groups that uses a non-probabilistic sample of volunteer subjects. In this way, the sociodemographic variables and the variables evaluated through the instrument are observed, described, analyzed and interrelated simultaneously and at a specific time. It has been completed with a multivariate statistical analysis. The results allow detecting the needs experienced by professionals in residential care situations as a measure of protection for minors, yielding significant differences depending on the variables under study. These results are discussed in relation to previous research and legislative changes regarding child protection. The conclusions, limitations and proposals for improvement open up new avenues of research that will make it possible to optimize residential care in the province of Pontevedra, making the resource comply as closely as possible with the guidelines and recommendations contained in the regulations on the matter and in the specialized literature., No ritmo das mudanças sociais, surgem novas demandas que devem ser solucionadas por meio da unidade de ação gerada a partir das regulamentações estaduais, das disposições do código civil e da legislação regional a fim de proteger o menor em situações de risco ou desamparo. Por isso, o objetivo deste estudo é identificar variáveis relacionadas à percepção das equipes gestoras e psicossocioeducativas sobre a qualidade de seu trabalho em centros de acolhimento. Foi estudada uma amostra de 122 profissionais que trabalhavam neste sector na província de Pontevedra através da concepção e aplicação de uma escala de avaliação de acolhimento residencial que recolhe as suas opiniões sobre a qualidade profissional, entrada e permanência, recursos, regulamentos de adequação e futuros perfectivos. O estudo é não experimental, transversal, descritivo-inferencial, de diferenças entre grupos e utiliza uma amostra não probabilística de sujeitos voluntários. Dessa forma, as variáveis sociodemográficas e as variáveis avaliadas por meio do instrumento são observadas, descritas, analisadas e inter-relacionadas simultaneamente e em um determinado momento. Ele foi completado com uma análise estatística multivariada. Os resultados permitiram detectar as necessidades vivenciadas pelos profissionais em situação de acolhimento residencial como medida de proteção de menores, apresentando diferenças significativas em função das variáveis em estudo. Esses resultados são discutidos em relação a pesquisas anteriores e mudanças legislativas em proteção à criança. Se estudió una muestra de 122 profesionales que trabajaban en este sector en la provincia de Pontevedra, mediante el diseño y aplicación una escala de valoración del acogimiento residencial que recoge sus opiniones acerca de la calidad profesional, el ingreso y permanencia, los recursos, la adecuación normativa y las perfectivas de fututo. El estudio es de carácter no experimental, transversal, descriptivo-inferencial, de diferencias entre grupos y emplea una muestra no probabilística de sujetos voluntarios. De este modo, se observan, describen, analizan e interrelacionan las variables sociodemográficas y las variables evaluadas a través del instrumento de manera simultánea y en un momento determinado. Ha sido completado con un análisis estadístico multivariante. Los resultados permitieron detectar las necesidades que experimentan los profesionales en situaciones de acogimiento residencial como medida de protección de menores arrojando diferencias significativas en función de las variables objeto de estudio. Estos resultados se discuten en relación a la investigación previa y a los cambios legislativos en materia de protección infantil. Las conclusiones, las limitaciones y propuestas de mejora abren nuevas vías de investigación que permitirán optimizar el acogimiento residencial en la provincia de Pontevedra, haciendo que el recurso se adecúe al máximo a las directrices y recomendaciones recogidas en la normativa al respecto y en la liter
