- Abstract
This article aims to analyze the consumption of healthy food consumption markers, according to racial groups of Brazilian women interviewed in the 2019 National Health Survey (NHS). This work was a cross-sectional study with data from 45,148 white and black women, aged ≥ 20 years. The variables used were the consumption of fruits, vegetables and legumes, beans, and fish. The association between color/race and the dietary intake indicators was tested using crude Poisson regression and adjusted to estimate prevalence ratios and 95% confidence intervals (95%CI). The prevalence of the consumption of fruits and vegetables was statistically higher among white women, while fish and beans was higher among black women. After adjusting for socioeconomic and demographic variables, it was found that black women remained only less likely to consume fruit (PR = 0.91; 95% CI: 0.88-0.95) and only more likely to consume beans (PR = 1.07; 95% CI: 1.04-1.10) than whites. There were racial inequalities for the consumption of healthy foods among Brazilian women, indicating that color/race defined a dietary pattern for black women that put them in vulnerable conditions in terms of fruit consumption.

- Abstract
Objective: To estimate the prevalence of depressive symptoms in the population aged 18 to 24, according to socioeconomic and demographic aspects in Brazil, comparing its evolution between 2013 and 2019., Methods: Cross-sectional study carried out with secondary data obtained from National Health Survey 2013 and 2019. It were included 7,823 young adulthood (aged 18 to 24) from 2013 and 8,047 from 2019. The instrument used to assess depression was the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9). All estimates included population weights and complex sampling., Results: The prevalence of depression almost doubled: 10.9% (95%CI 9.6-12.2) in 2019, compared to 5.6% (95%CI 4.8-6.4) in 2013, an absolute difference of 5.3% (4.5-6.0) greater. Women were the most affected in both surveys, with an increase between 2013 (8.3%; 95%CI 6.9-9.6) and 2019 (15.6%; 95%CI 13.5-17.6) higher than that of men (2013: 2.9%; 95%CI 2.0-3.8 and 2019: 6.2%; 95%CI 4.7-7.7). In both sexes, the pattern of increase was greater for the groups aged 18 to 20, not participating in religious activities, who were at the lowest levels of education and income, who lived with two or three or more people, who lived in the Northeast, Southeast, capitals and metropolitan areas of the country., Conclusion: There was a significant increase in the prevalence of depressive symptoms over the six years between the two surveys. However, this increase did not occur homogeneously among the characteristics analyzed, indicating population groups and locations in Brazil where the presence of these symptoms increased most in the period.

- Abstract
Changes in health behaviors of elderly people (≥65 years old) in Brazil included in the National Health Survey 2013 (n=7,712) and 2019 (n=15,926) were analyzed. Cross-sectional study compared prevalence estimates and 95% confidence intervals (95% CI) of current and past smoking; alcohol abuse; leisure-time physical activity; consumption of fruit and vegetables. Differences were considered statistically significant at the 5% level. All positive health behaviors increased significantly over the period. The consumption of fruit and vegetables was the most prevalent, and smoking cessation the one that grew the most. The consumption of fruit and vegetables, physical activity during leisure time and alcohol abuse prevailed in the capitals, with current and past smokers prevailing in the interior. Men had higher estimates of current and past smoking and alcohol abuse. In younger women, alcohol abuse significantly increased. Leisure-time physical activity did not differ between the sexes. Women consumed more fruit at all ages and years, but vegetables depended on age and year. The prevalence of healthy behavior has increased in Brazil. However, individual and contextual inequalities have remained and affect the achievement of more positive levels of health.

Objective: to analyze the individual and social vulnerabilities of women deprived of their liberty for violence suffered before entering the prison system., Method: an analytical crosssectional study, carried out with 272 inmates of a female prison unit, in the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza, Ceará. We applied two instruments: a form to analyze sociodemographic information and the violence suffered prior to entering the prison and the Alcohol, Smoking and Substance Involvement Screening Test (ASSIST), which analyzed the history of psychoactive substance use., Results: 44.5% of women suffered violence. Most of the total sample was between 18 and 29 years old, with children, low education and income, early onset of sexual life and history of illicit drug use. Age between 18 and 29 years proved to be a protective factor against violence (OR = 0.632). Cocaine and crack use (p =0.002), amphetamines and ecstasy (p =0.018) increase the chance of violence by 2.2 to 3.3 times., Conclusion: aspects of the individual and social dimensions of vulnerability are associated with the occurrence of violence in women in the female prison system. Effective strategies need to be designed based on vulnerabilities to prevent violence against women.

Objective: to reflect on the medicalization process of childbirth and birth and its consequences based on a Brazilian audiovisual media artifact., Method: reflective and interpretive analysis of the documentary O Renascimento do Parto (The Rebirth of Childbirth) based on Critical Discourse Analysis., Results: c-section emerges as an alternative to adverse conditions of pregnancy. However, it has become a routine and abusive practice of a medicalized obstetric care, thus becoming a social problem. In order to the incidence of c-sections decrease, women's protagonism must be restored, in addition to considering psychological, affective, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and contextual aspects in childbirth., Conclusion: childbirth is established as a material element and a mental phenomenon of social practices. We must interrupt the predominant model, allowing the body to express itself through the release of oxytocin, and decrease the segregation that c-section causes, thus enabling affective bonds.

- Abstract
Background: Gestation is a period that can positively or negatively influence the life of a woman in the pregnancy-puerperal cycle. Thus, evaluating the quality of life of this population can redirect the implementation of innovative practices, with the goal of making them more effective and practical or the promotion of humanized care. The present study aimed to evaluate the predictors that influence the health-related quality of life of low-risk pregnant women, as well as to describe the main areas affected in the quality of life of pregnant women., Methods: A correlational, quantitative and cross-sectional study was carried out in two public units that provide prenatal care services and a private unit in the city of Fortaleza, a municipality in the Northeast of Brazil. The sample consisted of 261 pregnant women who were interviewed from September to November 2014. The collection instruments were a questionnaire covering sociodemographic, obstetric and quality of life variables, in addition to the Brazilian version of the Mother-Generated Index (MGI). The data were compiled and analyzed through the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software, version 20.0. A descriptive analysis was performed through the application of Pearson's chi-square test, Fisher's exact test and one-way ANOVA. Maternal predictors for the quality of life of pregnant woman were identified through a multivariate analysis/multiple regression., Results: The response rate was 100%, corresponding to 261 respondents. Occupation, parity, partner support, marital status and persons with whom the women live were the predictors that positively interfered in the quality of life of pregnant women. In contrast, gestational age, type of housing, occupation, use of illicit drugs, non-receipt of partner support and maternal age were the predictors that negatively influenced quality of life., Conclusion: Our results indicate that happiness to become a mother and body image were areas with the greatest positive and negative influence on health-related quality of life, which suggests being relevant aspects in the planning and implementation of actions aimed at its improvement.

- Abstract
This correlational study aimed to verify the association between maternal variables and exclusive breastfeeding in a specialized outpatient clinic in the state of Ceará, Brazil. The practice of exclusive breastfeeding was observed, showing a decrease during the first six months of a child's life. Most women were young, with partners, with a good level of schooling, multigravidas and had six or fewer antenatal consultations in health centers. There was a significant association between multiparity and exclusive breastfeeding variables, showing up as a protective variable for this practice. Most women who breastfed exclusively said they had not received guidance on breastfeeding during prenatal care, which evidences the existence of other external factors that are favorable to exclusive breastfeeding.

- Abstract
Objective: to test the efficacy of the behavioral and educational interventions undertaken by telephone, for women's attendance at the consultation to receive the Pap test report., Method: a randomized clinical trial, with a sample randomized in three groups: telephone call - educational (n=171), telephone call - reminder (n=171) and comparison (n=169). The inclusion criteria were to be of legal age, to have become sexually active, to undertake the preventive examination during the study and to have a mobile or fixed telephone. The educational group received a telephone call involving a script based in the motivational interview and in the Brazilian guidelines. The behavioral group received a telephone call involving a reminder about the consultation. The comparison group received a card with details of when to return for a consultation regarding the results., Results: the women who received one of the interventions had a non-return rate of 7.3% and an increase of 39% (RR CI95%: 1.24-1.55) in the protection against this outcome. In the individual analysis of the interventions, it was evidenced that both are efficacious, as the telephone call - reminder reduces the woman's failure to return to the service by 40% (RR CI95%: 1.25-1.57), while the telephone call - educational does so by 37% (RR CI95%: 1.22-1.54). The rates of non-return were of 6.5% and 8.2%, respectively, as against 33.1% in the comparison group., Conclusion: the interventions tested showed greater efficacy in the educational and behavioral contexts, in relation to the normal attendance, as they motivated the women to return to the service to receive the Pap test report. Clinical trial register: RBR-w3vnc.
