Słowa kluczowe: zgorzel Fourniera, martwicze zakażenie skóry, przeszczep skóry, hiperbaria tlenowa Abstract Fournier gangrene is a rare, progressively necrotizing perineum inflammation, often leading to death of the patient. The infection is caused by a mixed oxygen-anaerobic bacterial flora. Treatment is based on immediate and radical surgical intervention supported by antibiotic therapy and intensive general treatment. Adequate, quick adoption of curative and caring activities is one of the factors affecting the success of treatment. Depending on the dynamically progressing disease process, it is necessary to efficiently identify problems and modify treatment and nursing care plans from the stages of treatment. Słowa klucze: dawcy krwi, zakażenia wirusowe HIV,edukacja, AIDS Summary The phenomenon of HIV today is not only a medical problem but also a social one. Due to the pathways of infection, everyone can get infected for us. Currently, there is a steady increase in HIV infection in the world. Convincing people about the lack of danger and the non-characteristic symptoms of infection or their lack, causes that many people do not realize that they are infected. Knowledge about the situations in which we can be infected and the possibility of transmission routes of these viruses can contribute to reducing the number of new infections. The aim of the work was to get to know the state of knowledge about the society about HIV / AIDS and to indicate the role of health education in the fight against infectious diseases. The study included 100 people. The quantitative method was used for research, while the sociological questionnaire was used as a research technique. The analysis of the empirical material shows that the state of knowledge about HIV infection requires education among the population. What's more, the public will be happy to take part in professional training on HIV / AIDS threats. The research shows that trainings should take place periodically, cover various social groups with the cooperation of many non-medical environments. It should be remembered that multisectoral cooperation is a prerequisite for the success of any health improvement program. Key words: blood donors, HIV viral infections, education, AIDS

- Abstract
Aim of the study: An evaluation of the connection between incontinence of urine in women and the quality of a relationship with a partner. Material and methods: The study comprised a group of 63 women with an average age of 55.7 ±8.7 years who were suffering from urinary incontinence, were in a relationship with a partner and declared being sexually active. The control group comprised 31 women with an average age of 55.2 ±8.6 years who were in a relationship and sexually active. The study was carried out via a diagnostic survey encompassing a questionnaire drawn up by the author of the study. Results: The need for support from a partner, an emotional bond, an evaluation of a relationship, a sense of closeness with a partner, satisfaction from sexual intercourse and a sense of attractiveness were adopted as a relationship quality measure. Women suffering from urinary incontinence assessed their relationship quality and emotional bond lower. 67% of women stated that incontinence of urine during a sexual intercourse was a reason for discomfort. Consequently, 34% of women abstained from sexual relations and the sexual satisfaction of 50% of women was influenced. A lack of control over one's own bladder made 51% of women feel unattractive. Aggravation and duration of symptoms intensified the sense of unattractiveness. Conclusions: The obtained results confirm that urinary incontinence lowers the sense of attractiveness and, consequently, influences the relationship with a partner. Incontinence of urine hinders sexual intercourse and sexual satisfaction. The intensity and duration of symptoms influences a couple's relationship quality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Materiał i metody: Grupę badaną stanowiło 158 kobiet z NM. W badaniu wykorzystano rekomendowane dla osób z inkontynencją skale i kwestionariusze: kwestionariusz do diagnozy nietrzymania moczu u kobiet (QUID), skalę nietrzymania moczu (RUIS), inwentarz do pomiaru radzenia sobie ze stresem (Mini-COPY), Królewski Kwestionariusz Zdrowia (KHQ) oraz kwestionariusz ankiety własnego autorstwa. Wyniki: Na podstawie przeprowadzonych analiz ustalono, że kobiety w celu poradzenia sobie z inkontynencją najczęściej wybierały akceptację i aktywne radzenie sobie. Aktywne radzenie sobie współwystępowało z poprawą jakości życia w sześciu domenach: życie osobiste, wpływ problemów z pęcherzem na życie, ograniczenia w czynnościach codziennych, ograniczenia społeczne, życie emocjonalne i częstość wykonywanych czynności z powodu NM. Wykazano istotną statystycznie korelację między poszukiwaniem wsparcia a satysfakcją z życia osobistego, społecznego i z mniejszą potrzebą wykonywania czynności związanych z NM. Obserwowano większą deprywację snu u kobiet bezradnych i przyjmujących postawę unikową. Wnioski: Zaobserwowano związek między niektórymi strategiami radzenia sobie w sytuacjach trudnych a jakością życia kobiet z inkontynencją. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Objective: Introduction: In Poland, urinary incontinence (UI) is the ninth in frequency of reported health problem, which occurs in 15.4% of women over 60 years of age (data of the Central Statistical Office of 2016). The search for optimal treatment methods for this disease and objective methods for assessing the effectiveness of therapy is a challenge for an interdisciplinary team of specialists. The aim: To examine the effect of Extracorporeal Magnetic Innervation (ExMI) on the Irisin concentration in women with stress urinary incontinence., Patients and Methods: Materials and methods: A total of 52 women were included in the analysis: 28 participants were allocated to the experimental group (EG) and 24 to the control group (CG). EG patients completed ExMI therapy, whereas no therapeutic intervention was applied to the CG. Irisin concentration, severity of urinary incontinence (RUIS) were measured in all women at the initial and final assessments., Results: Results: By comparing the initial and final assessment results we have been able to demonstrate a statistically significant differences in the measured variables in the EG. No statistically significant differences in the measured variables were reported for the CG at the initial and final assessments. No correlation was observed between the Irisin concentration results and severity of urinary incontinence in the EG at the final assessment., Conclusion: Conclusions: There is a need for further studies of biochemical parameters in the assessment of pelvic floor muscle dysfunction.
