We developed a one-transistor one-resistor cell composed of one TiO2-based resistive switching (RS) device and one ZnO-based thin-film transistor (TFT). We study the electric characteristics of each component individually, and their interplay when both work together. We explored the direct control of bipolar RS devices, using our TFTs to drive current in both directions. We also report striking power implications when we swap the terminals of the RS device. The target of our work is the introduction of RS devices in large-area electronic (LAE) circuits. In this context, RS devices can be beneficial regarding functionality and energy consumption, when compared to other ways to introduce memory cells in LAE circuits. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Consecutive, parallel reactions and equilibria affecting the selectivity in cyclohexanone oxime. • Nitrobenzene hydrogenation catalyzed by Pd/C in the presence of NH 2 OH HCl forms Aniline and cyclohexanone oxime. • The best solvent are ethers followed by dichloromethane and dimethylcarbonate. • NH 2 OH HCl hydrogenates to NH 4 Cl in the presence of Pd/C as a catalyst. • Aniline in the presence of NH 2 OH HCl gives cyclohexanone oxime and NH 4 Cl favors the selectivity to cyclohexanone oxime. • An imine intermediate on catalyst surface gives CON, COX and PCNA all in equilibrium. We studied the influence of temperature, solvent, pressure, catalysts type on the selectivity of nitrobenzene hydrogenation to cyclohexanone oxime (COX) in the presence of NH 2 OH. The best reaction conditions are: pressure 0.8 MPa, temperature 333 K, solvent ethers, and catalyst Pd/C5%. Other hydrogenation metal catalysts did not give comparable results. The amount of Pd/C influences the yield in COX, which rises above to 90 % at the highest load. The reaction profile shows that aniline is the reaction intermediate. Indeed, aniline as a substrate gives COX, though in lower yield than that achieved employing nitrobenzene. The NH 2 OH parallel hydrogenation to NH 4 Cl, influences positively the selectivity to COX. It has been observed that COX, cyclohexanone and N-cyclohexylideneaniline are in equilibrium in the reaction solution and all likely derive from nucleophilic substitutions to a common imine intermediate formed on the Pd surface, whose high activity does not need any further metal catalyst. The reaction of N,N,N',N'-tetramethyl-P-indol-1-ylphosphonic diamide (L) with Mn(ii) halides under mild conditions allowed the isolation of tetrahedral neutral complexes having the general formula [MnX2L2] (X = Cl, Br, I). The structures of the new coordination compounds were ascertained by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The three species exhibited noticeable luminescence in the green region upon excitation with UV light, with emissions related to the Mn(ii) 4T1(4G) → 6A1(6S) transition, without appreciable luminescence from the coordinated ligands. Luminescence was caused by both metal and ligand excitations. The good light harvesting features of the indol-1-yl fragment allowed the luminescence enhancement with respect to comparable phenyl-substituted derivatives.

Graphene has been predicted to develop a magnetic moment by proximity effect when placed on a ferromagnetic film, a promise that could open exciting possibilities in the fields of spintronics and magnetic data recording. In this work, the interplay between the magnetoresistance of graphene and the magnetization of an underlying ferromagnetic insulating film is studied in detail. A clear correlation between both magnitudes is observed but through a careful modeling of the magnetization and the weak localization measurements, that such correspondence can be explained by the effects of the magnetic stray fields arising from the ferromagnetic insulator is found. The present work presents a brief history of health plans in Brazil examining the interface between the public and the private sector. The evolution and regulation of the supplementary care system is analyzed, the different care modalities are defined and the main differences between health plans and dental care insurance are pointed out. The coverage provided by the supplementary care system and its relationship with the public health system is shown on the basis of current data. On the other hand, the study focuses on the care services, health plans and the labor market in the sector correlating, also on the basis of current data, the challenges and new opportunities of the supplementary care market, mainly in the dental sector. Although the dental sector is living an extraordinary moment within the private health care system and given that ANS data are pointing to a growth of this sector of 210% over last the 7 years, the service coverage of the supplementary care sector mainly directed to medical and inpatient care does not meet the real demand for integrated health care.
