In this paper, we present the design and performance evaluation of a prototype device based on gain-driven polariton, which can function as an amplifier. This device can outperform a single microwave cavity in terms of phase noise and stability. Employed as a standalone amplifier, it demonstrates consistency between input and output phase noise, achieving a gain of up to 35 dB with a typical output of 5 dBm at 4.26 GHz. Despite its limited bandwidth, the device provides an effective solution for small signal amplification, ensuring minimal noise introduction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
