Việc điều khiển phương tiện tự lái đang là chủ đề được rất nhiều người quan tâm hiện nay bởi những ưu điểm như tăng độ an toàn, rút ngắn thời gian di chuyển, giảm chi phí đi lại, giảm ùn tắc giao thông. Khi di chuyển trên những con đường, các phương tiện tự lái có thể phát hiện được các chướng ngại vật cố định trên cùng làn đường. Bài báo này đề xuất một giải pháp thiết lập quỹ đạo chuyển động mong muốn được sử dụng để tính toán đường đi sao cho xe tự lái có thể vượt qua các chướng ngại vật cố định trên cùng làn đường di chuyển. Hàm quỹ đạo mong muốn, dựa trên thông tin từ các cảm biến về khoảng cách đến các phương tiện phía trước, tính toán thời điểm để vượt qua chướng ngại vật. Kịch bản quỹ đạo mong muốn được đề xuất thường xuyên gặp trong thực tế khi xe di chuyển, trong đó các chướng ngại vật cố định là xe phía trước đang dừng lại. Kết quả đã chứng minh tính hiệu quả của giải pháp thiết lập quỹ đạo đề xuất.

Combustion characteristics and harmful emissions with emphasized soot emission in the new concept of a biogas-dimethyl ether (DME) hybrid dual-fuel engine were analyzed. The effects of DME content, biogas compositions and diesel injection were examined. At any biogas composition, a rise in DME content in the fuel mixture leads to an increase in indicative engine cycle work (Wi) and NOx but a decrease in CO and soot volume fraction (fv). The effects of DME on Wi and soot volume fraction are more significant for poor biogas than for rich biogas, contrary to its effect tendency on CO and NOx concentrations. With a given operating condition and DME content, the biogas compositions slightly affect the performance and emission of a biogas-DME hybrid dual-fuel engine. At a fixed global equivalence ratio, the reduction of diesel injection leads to an increase in Wi and NOx concentration but a decrease in CO and soot volume fraction. The lower the diesel injection is, the more significant the effects of DME content on the combustion properties and pollutant emissions are. At a given operating condition and the same global equivalence ratio, the biogas-DME PCCI combustion mode is more advantageous than biogas-DME dual-fuel combustion mode. The substitution of diesel pilot ignition by DME pilot ignition in a biogas-DME hybrid dual engine is the optimal solution for both performance improvement and pollution emissions reduction.

Aerodynamic drag reduction is required with new stringent constraints on pollutant emissions and fuel efficiency of ground vehicles. In this context, active flow control is a promising approach to achieve this target. This study focuses on applying different flow control strategies on the square-back Ahmed model to reduce aerodynamic drag. A steady blowing jet, a synthetic jet and an unsteady jet are located at the back edges of the model as flow control devices. A numerical study based on the 3D WMLES simulation was performed to evaluate the drag reduction capabilities of these devices at different operating conditions. The results showed that a maximum aerodynamic drag reduction of 26.51% was achieved when using a steady blowing jet, and 17.27% with an unsteady jet. In contrast, the effect of the synthetic jet on the aerodynamic drag of the model is solely at high control frequencies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
