During the period of ten weeks, a study has been conducted on the effects of a complex training method on the maximal isometric muscle force, its peaking time, and the rate of force development in the semi-squat test. The participants of the study were twenty junior basketball players (average age 16.4+/-0.7; mean body height 186.2cm+/-9.2; mean body weight 75,4+/-7.5kg; mean body fat percentage 12,83%+/-1.15). The participants were divided into experimental (n=10) and control group (n=10). The experimental group, besides technical-tactical training sessions, had additional complex training, while the control group had technical-tactical training sessions only. At the final testing, the results of maximal isometric muscle force and the explosive power index, have significantly improved in the experimental group, while the control group did not make significant progress. There were no significant changes in the maximal isometric muscle force's peak time at the final testing. The study findings indicate that application of the complex training method has positive effects on the development of maximal isometric force, and the rate of force development.

The present study examined the relative age effects (RAE) of adolescents from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The purposes of this study were to evaluate motor performances of adolescent students (boys and girls), and to examine the effects of relative age among relatively older and relatively younger boys, and between relatively older and relatively younger girls, respectively. Motor skills were assessed by the Eurofit battery of motor tests. A one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was applied to examine the differences between the groups. Normality of distribution was determined with Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and skewness and kurtosis. If the assumption of a normal distribution for the data was violated, the Mann-Whitney U test. The results indicated significant differences in motor performance boys RAE groups in two measures, while there were no differences between the relatively older and relatively younger girls. The results indicate that the RAE is less evident in mid-adolescence in both, girls and boys. These findings may be useful for physical education (PE) teachers in PE lessons planning.

Purpose of the present study was to examine whether influence of relative age effect (RAE) exists or not in the selected 13 year old basketball players. Subjects were 20 basketball players (HT=177.35cm±6.73, BW=61.42kg±8.98, average age 13 years and 7 months ±.28, average experience in basketball training 4 years and 6 months ±1.15). Sample was divided in two groups: 11 players born in first half of the year and 9 players born in the second half of the year. One-way ANOVA was used in order to analyze the differences between the two groups of players in set of anthropometric variables (body height, arm span, standing reach height, body weight and percentage of body fat), motor variables (velocity of neuromuscular reaction time, vertical jump, 5 meters sprint, 10 meters sprint, 20 meters sprint, T-test, Zig-zag test, ball throw from sitting position, Sit-ups for 30 seconds and standing forward bend) and one functional variable (20-M shuttle run test). Subjects do not differ in applied set of parameters, except in on variable (sit-ups for 30 seconds, p=.040). It was concluded that RAE does not exist in this sample of examinees.

The aim of this study is to present students' satisfaction with online learning from different countries and the challenges they faced at the beginning of the SARS-COV-2 pandemic. It presents the Transatlantic Educators Dialogue (TED) Alumni program and a short description of the education systems of Croatia, Serbia, Lithuania, Hessen Germany and Romania. Teachers who participated in TED courses sent a survey to their students who participated in online classes. The number of 321students (207 girls and 114 boys) from eight countries responded to the online survey. The results indicate that students from different countries use the same platforms for online learning and they were able to evaluate their performance during online learning. Reliable and valid evaluation of hand strength is of importance in determining the effectiveness different sports activity. During various physical and sports activities, the hands produce the appropriate muscular force for gripping, which is manifested as the of the Hand grip strength (HGS). The force of the handgrip is recognized as a limiting factor in all manipulative activities performed by the cranial part of the body. The current research included a sample of 16 male subjects, Body Height (BH=180.28±4.65cm); Body Weight (BW=80.05±9.96kg); Body Mass Index (BMI=24.61±2.74kg/m²) on the third year of study at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports. The aim of the study was to determine the maximum isometric muscle strength of the handgrip depending on the body height, body mass and BMI of the subjects. Basic statistical parameters, Simple regression analysis and Pearson correlation matrix were applied for data processing. The obtained research results confirmed a statistically significant influence of Body height on HGS (Pearson r Right hand=0.526; R²Right hand=0.277; p=0.021; Pearson r Left hand =0.523; R²Left hand =0.273; p=0.023). The study aims to present in detail the analysis of high-intensity movement during official football matches of the highest rank in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The data (such as maximum speed, the number of accelerations, the number of sprints, (V4) the distance of high-intensity running =19,8 km/h, and (V5) the distance of sprint =25,2 km/h) have been collected using 20 Hz GPS (Global Positioning System) in 13 football matches (11 matches of the domestic league, BHT PL BIH, and two matches of BIH CUP in the first part of the 2019-2020 season). In total, there were n=74 individual match observations, of which central defenders (CD, n=18); fullbacks (FB, n=13); central midfielders (CM, n=23); wide midfielders (WM, n=15); and forwards (FW, n=5) were analyzed. The kinematic parameters were obtained by 20 Hz GPS Pro2 (GPEXE, Exelio Srl, Udine, Italy). The statistical analysis results have shown that the average maximum speed equaled 29,7±1,6 km/h, the number of accelerations 19,9±7,4, the number of sprints 3,4±2,7, the distance (V4) 481±163, and the distance (V5) 127±85. Considering the positions of the players on the field, the full-backs obtained the highest maximum speed of (FB) 30,7±1,1 km/h, while the wide-midfielders, on average, performed, the most accelerations 27,6±6,4, sprints 6,2±3,3, and ran the longest distance in V4 (677±156) and V5 (213±104) zones. This study analyzed the differences between players' positions and quantified the physical demands of elite football players competing in the highest rank in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Based on the kinematic parameters data, the results show several statistical discrepancies related to the positions of the players in a match. The data offered in this study may be used in future analyses and comparisons. Thirty junior basketball players participated in the survey aimed to explore the impact of complex and plyometric method of training on maximal vertical jump height, in order to determine more effective method of training in practice. Study participants were divided into three equal groups of ten subjects, two experimental groups (group 1 - complex method of training, group 2- plyometric method of training) and control group. More experimental groups, in addition to regular basketball technical and tactical training, twice a week had more complex, ie, plyometric training, while control subjects had only technical and tactical training. Variables are divided into two groups: body weight, body height and skin folds are marked morphological variables and the maximum vertical jump height as the variable motor. It was found, analyzing the results from initial and final measurements that the maximum vertical jump height improved being under the influence of experimental factors in both experimental groups, whereas in the control group no significant changes occured. Experimental group changes p = 0.05, control group p=0.09. Morphological variables didn't significantly changed after application of experimental treatments. Further analysis of data showed no significant differences between experimental groups at the final measurements. Research has shown that there is no difference in the efficiency of the complex and plyometric training methods in a manner that is applied to our research and that these methods of training in ten weeks time can signicantly affect the improvement of the task as it capped the maximum vertical jump.
