In a geophysical point of view, large scale prediction of atmospheric flows become more and more important to forecast e.g. extreme weather conditions that are observed in recent days more frequent and may relate to the overall climate change. The AtmoFlow experiment is a small scaled laboratory spherical shell to investigate such atmospheric flow fields in a miniaturized model of a planet. Besides this physical experiment, numerical simulations are performed to analyze the resulting convective patterns in more detail. The experiment is composed of two spherical shells, which can rotate independently. The temperature on the shell's surface can be defined as a heated equator and a cooled pole. To model the terrestrial gravitation, an electric potential is applied on a dielectric fluid confined between the shells. This so called dielectrophoretic force triggers the formation of buoyant patterns, and is in fact the artificial equivalent of terrestrial gravitation. The simulations are processed with a custom programmed solver in the OpenFOAM ecosystem. It covers all predefined rotation combinations starting with no rotation, solid body rotation and differential rotation. The latter are the latest results of the computational simulation campaign and used to investigate the influence of the artificial central force field to differential rotation. While differential rotation can cause the well known Taylor vortices, it has to be noted that the cell formation induced by the central dielectrophoretic force field maybe significantly extubated and thus new convection patterns may arise. This in fact is the overall focus of this study to understand the underlying physical process of such pattern formations. The analyses focus first on the amount of convective heat that these patterns are able to transport, and second to quantify their shape and intensity via a spatial Fast Fourier Transformation to identify the most dominant structures. Finally, statistical moments will provide an estimation about the shape and location of vacillating patterns.

Ordering is a well-established concept in mathematics and also plays an important role in many areas of computer science, where quasi-orderings, most notably well-founded quasi-orderings and well-quasi-orderings, are of particular interest. This paper deals with quasi-orderings on first-order terms and introduces a new notion of unification based on a special quasi-order, known as homeomorphic tree embedding. Historically, the development of unification theory began with the central notion of a most general unifier based on the subsumption order. A unifier $\sigma$ is most general, if it subsumes any other unifier $\tau$ , that is, if there is a substitution $\lambda$ with $\tau=_{E}\sigma\lambda$ , where E is an equational theory and $=_{E}$ denotes equality under E. Since there is in general more than one most general unifier for unification problems under equational theories E, called E-Unification, we have the notion of a complete and minimal set of unifiers under E for a unification problem $\varGamma$ , denoted as $\mu\mathcal{U}\Sigma_{E}(\Gamma)$ . This set is still the basic notion in unification theory today. But, unfortunately, the subsumption quasi-order is not a well-founded quasi-order, which is the reason why for certain equational theories there are solvable E-unification problems, but the set $\mu\mathcal{U}\Sigma_{E}(\Gamma)$ does not exist. They are called type nullary in the unification hierarchy. In order to overcome this problem and also to substantially reduce the number of most general unifiers, we extended the well-known encompassment order on terms to an encompassment order on substitutions (modulo E). Unification under the encompassment order is called essential unification and if $\mu\mathcal{U}\Sigma_{E}(\Gamma)$ exists, then the complete set of essential unifiers $e\mathcal{U}\Sigma_{E}(\Gamma)$ is a subset of $\mu\mathcal{U}\Sigma_{E}(\Gamma)$ . An interesting effect is that many E-unification problems with an infinite set of most general unifiers (under the subsumption order) reduce to a problem with only finitely many essential unifiers. Moreover, there are cases of an equational theory E, for which the complete set of most general unifiers does not exist, the minimal and complete set of essential unifiers however does exist. Unfortunately again, the encompassment order is not a well-founded quasi-ordering either, that is, there are still theories with a solvable unification problem, for which a minimal and complete set of essential unifiers does not exist. This paper deals with a third approach, namely the extension of the well-known homeomorphic embedding of terms to a homeomorphic embedding of substitutions (modulo E). We examine the set of most general, minimal, and complete E-unifiers under the quasi-order of homeomorphic embedment modulo an equational theory E, called $\varphi U\Sigma_{E}(\Gamma)$ , and propose an appropriate definitional framework based on the standard notions of unification theory extended by notions for the tree embedding theorem or Kruskal’s theorem as it is called. The main results are that for regular theories the minimal and complete set $\varphi\mathcal{U}\Sigma_{E}(\Gamma)$ always exists. If we restrict the E-embedding order to pure E-embedding, a well-known technique in logic programming and term rewriting where the difference between variables is ignored, the set $\varphi_{\pi}\mathcal{U}\Sigma_{E}(\Gamma)$ always exists and it is even finite for any theory E.

Today models of our atmosphere to study climate change become more and more important not only from a meteorological point of view but also from a global perspective to understand the large-scale motion of planetary waves that transport a large amount of energy. This study investigates numerically such large-scale flows in a simplified 2-dimensional model that is aligned to the AtmoFlow experiment. This experiment is the legacy of the GeoFlow experiment, which investigated planet mantle convection. The AtmoFlow experiment is a spherical shell that mimics a planet at a small scale, where terrestrial gravity is artificially induced by an equivalent electric central force field. This small planet can rotate synchronized or differentially by moving the inner and outer boundaries to simulated planetary rotation. Analogous to a real planet, the poles are cooled and the equator heated. The fluid used in the numerical simulation to mimic a planetary atmosphere is a dielectric fluid with an electric permittivity sensitive to temperature to induce convection similar to a terrestrial buoyancy. While the fluid is also sensitive to the temperate-dependent density, the spherical shell experiments are performed in free space and thus the experiment is planned to be operated on the International Space Station (ISS) after 2024. Flow patterns are retrieved using a Wollaston Shear Interferometry (WSI) and sent back to Earth's ground station.To be able to investigate the flow structures recorded by the experiment, a numerical model is built. Here we only show 2-dimensional results of the shell in the equatorial plane without rotation. The boundary conditions in these simulations are set to an ideal fixed temperature where the inner shell is heated, and the outer is cooled. To induce thermo-electro-hydrodynamics convection, an electric voltage is applied at the inner shell whereas the outer is grounded. The resulting flow patterns evolve in time and are stationary, quasi-stationary, or chaotic structures. The arising convection cells can be classified using a time-averaged spatial Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) of the temperature along the mid-gap of the domain to quantify a mode number. The heat transfer is expressed with the Nusselt number and increases with the Rayleigh number. This is reflected by the mode number increasing to a maximum before it decreases when the flow becomes unstable while maintaining a clear structure and mode shape with detaching plumes at the tangent cylinder.

Room temperature ionic liquids (RTILs) are known to exhibit high CO2 solubility, which makes them interesting candidates for separation and purification of mixed gas streams. Particularly, RTILs based on imidazoles have shown very promising results. However, membranes of the corresponding poly(RT-IL)s are inherently brittle, which makes them too fragile for use in freestanding membranes. Therefore, copolymers of N-vinylimidazole (VIm) and butyl acrylate (BuA) were prepared, showing reactivity ratios of rBuA = 1.91–2.02 and rVIm = 0.094–0.10. The prepared copolymers of poly(VIm-co-BuA) with a copolymer composition of 24:76 had sufficiently low Tg (−6.6 °C) and were flexible enough to be used for membrane preparation. The copolymer was quarternized and crosslinked in a one-pot reaction into thin film membranes employing a mixture of mono and difunctional alkyl halides. Membranes were prepared using a mixture of 1:8, 1:2 and 1:0 of 1,6-dibromohexane and 1-bromobutane, resulting in different degrees of crosslinking. The one-pot process additionally allows incorporation of up to 16 wt% free RTIL (BMIM Tf2N) in the 1:0 ratio membranes. All membranes were tested for CO2 permeability (33.7–54.38 barrer), and for selectivity towards N2 and CH4. By varying the crosslinking degree, it was observed that CO2 permeability increased with decreasing the degree of crosslinking. Finally, films prepared with free RTIL led to an improvement of the gas separation performance, with CO2 permeability increased from 33.71 to 38.77 barrer and CO2/N2 permselectivity increased from 20.81 to 27.82.

Electro-hydrodynamics (EHD) plays an important role in many industrial applications. Ink-jet printers, microwave drying facilities, and lab-on-a-chip devices utilize dielectric properties of the working fluids and their manipulation without moving parts. Another application is found in heat exchangers, where the dielectrophoretic force is used to increase heat transfer due to thermal buoyancy. In particular, the dielectrophoretic force has great advantages in low- and micro-gravity conditions since the force can be used to mimic a gravitational force field. Hence, convection in a rectangular cavity induced by EHD is a model system comparable to Rayleigh-Benard (RB) convection. However, the electric-driven buoyancy term and dielectric heating make the system more complex. The direction of the triggering dielectrophoretic force depends mainly on the temperature gradient which can be used to manipulate the heat flux or the entire structure of the convective flow. Layer formation, comparable to double-diffusive convection, and convective overshooting are two representative cases which can be established by EHD, too. We will present first results of turbulent convection induced by EHD in the rectangular cavity and the impact of volumetric heating. For this purpose, the Boussinesq approximation, as well as compressible models for EHD, are tested also for applicability in geophysical relevant regimes. This is a crucial point as the limitations by incompressible modeling are not well-understood for EHD. The main focus of the study is the analysis of the heat flux as a function of the thermo-electric feedback and the dielectric heating rate. Convective overshooting and layer formation are examined closely. Results of this study are used to estimate transport properties and time scales. Applications using EHD are the GeoFlow and AtmoFlow experiments. The GeoFlow experiment was conducted several years on the International Space Station and gained deep insight into EHD driven convection in the spherical shell geometry. The AtmoFlow experiment is under construction and is planned for operations on the ISS in 2024. This experiment is designed to study atmospheric like flows in the spherical shell.

Unsupervised machine learning became a ubiquitous method appearing in E-commerce solutions that strive to provide personalized recommendations for their users. Most of those solutions embrace collaborative filtering (CF) to predict conversions, which are the beneficial user events, such as a purchase. Traditionally, the predictions were made based on rating data. However, e-commerce users seldom leave ratings. Instead, we must rely on user events, such as viewing an item or adding it to the cart. The event-based approach seems counter-intuitive, for the reason that the operation time of recommender systems increases exponentially with the increase of data-points.One of the main contributions of this paper is the UX value function. It reduces all events between an item and a user to a single user experience number, which also depends on the sequentiality of the events. We present a method to calculate this number in linear time. Then we use a deep neural network to predict the likelihood of conversions based on this number to prove the practical solvability of the problem in a scalable manner, with a relatively fast learning speed and good prediction accuracy. We have conducted an extensive experimental analysis on Kechinov’s ‘eCommerce Events History in Cosmetics Shop’ dataset, containing 8,738,120 user events. The results of those experiments prove the efficiency and applicability of the developed approach.

Collaborative filtering (CF) became a prevalent technique to filter objects a user might like, based on other users' reactions. The neural network based solutions for CF rely on hyper-parameters to control the learning process. This paper documents a solution for hyper-parameter optimization (HPO). We empirically prove that optimizing the hyperparameters leads to a significant performance gain. Moreover, we show a method to streamline HPO while substantially reducing computation time. Our solution relies on the separation of hyper-parameters into two groups, predetermined and automatically optimizable parameters. By minimizing the later, we can significantly reduce the overall time needed for HPO. After an extensive experimental analysis, the method produced significantly better results than manual HPO in the context of a real-world dataset.

The effects of crystalline morphology and presence of nanoparticles such as cellulose nanofibers (CNFs), organically modified nanoclay (C30B), or a combination of both on water vapor sorption and diffusion in polylactide (PLA) were evaluated by a quartz spring microbalance (QSM). It was found that the large spherulite size induced by high-temperature processing leads to an increase in water sorption and a substantial reduction of diffusion with increasing crystallinity. Contrarily, small-sized spherulites, arising after low-temperature processing during solvent-casting, showed a different behavior with a slight decrease in both water vapor sorption and diffusion with increasing crystallinity. These observations suggest that solvent-casting at low temperatures should not be used to predict the properties a material will show after industrial-scale processing. From the analysis of the nanocomposite materials, it was concluded that nanoparticles affected the material′s properties not only by themselves but also by modifying the crystalline morphology. Interestingly, this led to CNF showing similar performance to C30B, decreasing water diffusivity (21 vs 27%) on isothermally crystallized materials despite its less favorable geometry. Additionally, the incorporation of 1 wt % CNF and C30B decreased water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) by 24% under an amorphous state but by 44% in a crystallized state, which makes hybrid CNF/C30B composites a promising food packaging material.

Treatments for B-cell malignancies have improved over the past several decades with clinical application of the CD20-specific antibody rituximab and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells targeting CD19. Despite the success of these therapies, loss of CD20 after rituximab treatment has been reported in leukemia and lymphoma patients. Additionally, up to 50% of all patients receiving anti-CD19 CAR T-cell therapy relapse within the first year with many of those patients exhibiting CD19 loss. Thus, new therapeutic approaches are needed to address tumor antigen escape. Accordingly, we generated triple gene-modified iPSC-derived NK (iNK) cells, termed "iDuo" NK cells, tailored to facilitate multi-antigen targeting. The iPSC line was clonally engineered to express high-affinity, non-cleavable CD16a (hnCD16), an anti-CD19 CAR optimized for NK cell signaling, and a membrane-bound IL-15/IL-15R fusion (IL-15RF) molecule to enhance NK cell persistence (Fig. 1A). To model antigen escape, we generated CD19 knockout AHR77 lymphoma cells alongside wild type AHR77 cells (both CD20 +) as targets in cytotoxicity assays. Activated peripheral blood NK (PBNK) cells, non-transduced iNK cells, and iDuo NK cells were tested as effectors. Unlike PBNK cells or non-transduced iNK cells, iDuo NK cells efficiently eliminated wild type AHR77 cells with or without the addition of rituximab at all tested E:T ratios. Similarly, iDuo NK cells in combination with rituximab were uniquely able to efficiently eliminate CD19 KO AHR77 cells due to enhanced antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) driven by hnCD16 (Fig. 1B-E). Cytotoxicity mediated by iDuo NK cells was also evaluated using primary chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells. Compared to expanded PBNK cells and non-transduced iNK cells, only iDuo NK cells (in the absence of rituximab) were able to kill primary CLL cells (Fig. 1F). Expression of IL-15RF by iDuo NK cells uniquely supports in vitro expansion without the need for cytokine supplementation. To determine whether IL-15RF supports in vivo persistence of iDuo NK cells, CD19 CAR iNK cells (lacking IL-15RF) and iDuo NK cells were injected into NSG mice without the addition of cytokines or CD19 antigen availability. iDuo NK cell numbers peaked within a week after injection and persisted at measurable levels for ~5 weeks, in marked contrast to CD19 CAR iNK cell numbers that were undetectable throughout (Fig. 1G). To evaluate the in vivo function of iDuo NK cells, NALM6 leukemia cells were engrafted into NSG mice. Groups of mice received tumor alone or were treated with 3 doses of thawed iDuo NK cells. iDuo NK cells alone were highly effective in this model as evidenced by complete survival of mice in the treatment group (Fig. 1H). To assess iDuo NK cells in a more aggressive model, Raji lymphoma cells were engrafted, and groups of mice received rituximab alone, iDuo NK cells alone, or iDuo NK cells plus rituximab. Mice given the combination of iDuo NK cells and rituximab provided extended survival compared to all other arms in the aggressive disseminated Raji lymphoma xenograft model (Fig. 1I). One disadvantage of anti-CD19 CAR T cells is their inability to discriminate between healthy and malignant B cells. Because NK cells express inhibitory receptors that enable "self" versus "non-self" discrimination, we reasoned that iDuo NK cells could have higher cytotoxicity against tumor cells relative to healthy B cells. To address this, we labeled Raji cells, CD19 + B cells from healthy donor peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and CD19 - PBMCs. Labeled populations of cells were co-cultured with iDuo NK cells, and specific killing was analyzed. As expected, iDuo NK cells did not target CD19 - PBMCs. Intriguingly, iDuo NK cells had much higher cytotoxic activity against Raji cells compared to primary CD19 + B cells, suggesting a preferential targeting of malignant B cells compared to healthy B cells. Together, these results demonstrate the potent multi-antigen targeting capability and in vivo antitumor function of iDuo NK cells. Further, these data suggest that iDuo NK cells may have an additional advantage over anti-CD19 CAR T cells by discriminating between healthy and malignant B cells. The first iDuo NK cell, FT596, is currently being tested in a Phase I clinical trial (NCT04245722) for the treatment of B-cell lymphoma. Figure 1 Figure 1. Background: The use of a clonal master engineered induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line as a renewable source for the mass production of immune effector cells offers distinct advantages over existing patient (pt)- and donor-derived cell-based cancer immunotherapy approaches, including off-the-shelf availability for broad pt access and multi-dose administration. FT596 is an iPSC-derived, off-the-shelf, CD19-directed chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) natural killer (NK) cell therapy capable of multi-antigen targeting in combination with monoclonal antibody (mAb) therapies. FT596 has three anti-tumor modalities: (1) a proprietary CD19-targeting CAR; (2) a novel high-affinity, non-cleavable CD16 Fc receptor that enables tumor targeting and enhanced antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity in combination with a therapeutic mAb; and (3) IL-15/IL-15 receptor fusion promoting cytokine-autonomous persistence. Preclinical in vivo models of leukemia and lymphoma demonstrate potent CAR-mediated efficacy of FT596 against CD19+ tumor cells and activity against both CD19+ and CD19- tumor cells when combined with the anti-CD20 agent rituximab (Goodridge et al. 2019). Methods: FT596 is being investigated in a multicenter, Phase I clinical trial in pts with relapsed/refractory (R/R) B-cell lymphomas (BCLs) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (ClinicalTrials.gov: NCT04245722). Conditioning chemotherapy (fludarabine 30 mg/m 2 and cyclophosphamide 500 mg/m 2 on Days -5 to -3) is administered followed by a single dose of FT596 as monotherapy (Regimen A) or combined with rituximab (R) 375 mg/m 2 (Regimen B1) or obinutuzumab 1000 mg/m 2 (Regimen B2) on Day -4. FT596 single-dose levels between 30 and 900 million cells are being tested. Pts experiencing clinical benefit may receive a second cycle of conditioning followed by a single dose of FT596 with FDA approval (Cycle 2). Primary objectives are to determine the recommended Phase II dose of FT596 and safety and tolerability. Additional key objectives include preliminary anti-tumor activity per the Lugano Classification, pharmacokinetics, and anti-product immunogenicity. Results: As of a data cutoff date of 25 June 2021, 20 pts with R/R BCL (12 with aggressive histology, 8 indolent) were treated in dose escalation with FT596, including 10 in Regimen A and 10 in Regimen B1 (3 with 30 million cells, 4 with 90 million cells, and 3 with 300 million cells in each regimen). Pts had received a median of 4 prior therapies, with 7 having received CAR T-cell therapy and 5 with autologous stem cell transplant. Ten of 20 pts were refractory to last prior therapy. No dose-limiting toxicities were reported with either regimen. No graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) or immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS) were observed. Two cases of cytokine release syndrome (CRS) were reported (one Gr 1 and one Gr 2). The most common treatment-emergent adverse events of any grade were neutrophil count decreased (85%), nausea (75%), anemia (50%), WBC count decreased (45%), fatigue and platelet count decreased (40% each), and peripheral edema (35%). No B- or T-cell mediated anti-product responses were observed. Of 17 efficacy-evaluable pts, 5 of 8 in Regimen A and 4 of 9 in Regimen B achieved an objective response after the first FT596 treatment cycle. At single-dose levels of ≥90 million cells, 8 of 11 efficacy-evaluable pts achieved an objective response, including 7 complete responses (CR). Of 4 pts with prior CAR T-cell therapy treated at ≥90 million cells, 2 achieved CR. The FDA approved all requests for FT596 retreatment. Seven of 9 responders received Cycle 2; 1 pt with CR elected not to receive Cycle 2, and 1 pt with partial response (PR) experienced disease progression prior to initiation of Cycle 2. Five pts (4 with CR, 1 with PR after Cycle 1) completed Cycle 2, and 2 pts initiated Cycle 2 after data cutoff. CR was maintained after Cycle 2 in all 4 pts with CR, while the 1 pt with PR experienced a deepening PR after Cycle 2. No CRS, ICANS, or GvHD were reported with Cycle 2. Conclusions: FT596 monotherapy or in combination with R was well tolerated and demonstrated activity in pts with R/R BCL, including in pts previously treated with CAR T-cell therapy. Administration of a second FT596 treatment cycle was well tolerated with evidence of continuing clinical benefit. Dose escalation of FT596 is ongoing. Updated clinical and translational data will be presented at the conference. Background: Allogeneic natural killer (NK) cell therapies have documented anti-tumor activity in patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) hematologic malignancies, including B-cell lymphoma (BCL), and may offer an improved safety profile characterized by the absence of cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and neurologic toxicity compared with T-cell therapies (Liu et al. 2020). However, limited availability of suitable donors, relatively short in vivo persistence, and manufacturing constraints limiting the ability to consistently deliver multiple doses remain barriers to maximizing the clinical benefit of NK cell therapy. FT516 is a first-of-kind, off-the-shelf, NK cell therapy manufactured from a clonal master engineered induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line, which can be used as a renewable source for the mass production of NK cells for multi-dose treatment and immediate patient access. FT516 expresses a novel high-affinity, non-cleavable CD16 (hnCD16) Fc receptor, which has been demonstrated preclinically to maximize antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity in combination with an anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody (Zhu et al. 2020). Methods: Primary objectives of the study are to determine the recommended Phase II dose of FT516 in combination with rituximab (R) or obinutuzumab (G) in R/R BCL and to evaluate safety and tolerability in patients (pts) with R/R BCL. Key secondary objectives include evaluation of FT516 anti-tumor activity by Lugano Classification and pharmacokinetics when combined with R or G in R/R BCL. The ongoing dose-escalation stage assesses FT516 for up to 2 cycles, each consisting of 3 days of conditioning chemotherapy (cyclophosphamide [CY] 500 mg/m 2 and fludarabine [FLU] 30 mg/m 2), a single-dose of R (375 mg/m 2), and 3 weekly doses of FT516 (30-900 million cells per dose) each with IL-2 support (6 MIU). FT516 may be administered in the outpatient setting with no mandatory hospitalization. Following dose escalation, further investigation of safety and efficacy will be conducted as follows: FT516 + R or G following FLU/CY in pts with R/R diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) or R/R follicular lymphoma (FL) who have not received prior CAR T-cell therapy; FT516 + R following FLU/CY in pts with R/R BCL who have previously received CAR T-cell therapy; and FT516 + R following bendamustine. Results: As of 07 July 2021, 13 pts (2 at 30 million cells per dose, 4 at 90 million cells per dose, and 7 at 300 million cells per dose) were enrolled and had at least 3 months of follow-up or discontinued. Pts had DLBCL, including transformed indolent (7 pts), high-grade BCL (HGBCL, 3 pts), low-grade FL (2 pts), or marginal zone lymphoma (1 pt), and received a median of 3 prior lines of therapy and a median of 2 prior lines containing CD20-targeted therapy. Ten of 13 pts received both planned treatment cycles (6 doses of FT516); 3 pts discontinued after a single cycle due to disease progression. No dose-limiting toxicities, FT516-related serious adverse events, or FT516-related Grade ≥3 adverse events (AEs) were observed. No CRS, immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS), or graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) of any grade were reported. Grade ≥3 AEs occurring in ≥2 pts were neutrophil count decreased (6 pts), neutropenia (5 pts), febrile neutropenia (3 pts), and thrombocytopenia (2 pts). Eight of the 11 pts (72%) treated with ≥90 million FT516 cells achieved an objective response. Seven pts achieved complete response (CR), including 2 pts whose disease progressed following treatment with autologous CD19 CAR T-cell therapy. Two pts treated at the lowest dose of 30 million FT516 cells experienced progressive disease. Of the 8 responders, 5 continue in remission at between 4.6 and 9.5 months. One pt with primary refractory triple-hit HGBCL that had progressed after 7 prior regimens, including CAR T-cell therapy, continues in CR with minimal residual disease negativity by local ctDNA analysis 4.9 months from initiation of FT516 treatment. Conclusions: Administration of up to 6 doses of FT516 cells in combination with R appears safe and tolerable up to 300 million cells per dose, without CRS, ICANS, or GvHD. Deep responses were observed in heavily pretreated pts, with several with ongoing CR at data cutoff. Updated clinical and translational results of ongoing dose escalation will be presented at the conference. Physical education focuses on the development of sports skills as well as fitness for health. In Central European countries there has been a shift in these focuses since the fall of Communism to follow internationally-recognised health-related physical activity recommendations, similar to Western European countries. In this study we investigated the extent to which motivation from school physical education transfers to leisure-time physical activity providing autonomy support by three social agents: school (physical education teachers), family and peers. Our study utilised the Aetological Approach (AA), Ecological Model (EM) and the Trans-Contextual Model (TCM) that consists of the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) and the Self-Determination Theory (SDT) to explore how autonomous motivation is transferred between contexts (physical education, leisure-time and current behaviour). Nine-hundred and seventy-four students aged 11–18 (55% girls) participated in our study from four countries: Hungary, United Kingdom, Romania and Slovakia. A prospective research design was employed, and questionnaires were administered at three time points. Using 7-point Likert scales, attitude, usefulness, and affectiveness were measured. Furthermore, subjective norms and perceived behavioural control (PBC) were tested within TPB. Autonomous and controlling motivation were measured within SDT by administering the Behavioural Regulation in Exercise questionnaires (BREQ and BREQ-2). Finally, past physical activity, intention and current physical activity behaviours were tested. Results indicated that perceived autonomy support from family and friends predicted autonomous motivation towards leisure-time physical activity in all four countries. However, teachers’ behaviour in some Eastern European countries did not predict this transfer. In general, in line with previous literature, boys reported more physical activity than girls. A strong influencing factor in the path model was that past behaviour predicted current behaviour, and according to that factor, boys reported being more active than girls.Boys also perceived more support from PE teachers than girls which was likely to have influenced their autonomous motivation in PE, which in turn transferred to leisure time. We discuss these results in the context of theories exploring the role of motivation and social environment on children’s choices related to physical activity. In conclusion, we suggest providing more autonomy support, especially by schools, for the enhancement of autonomous motivation of young people to promote their leisure time physical activity.

We have reviewed the existing metro network mapping solutions. While none of them are ideal for IoT network mapping, the research on network map usability aspects can be applied to IoT networks. By doing so, we were able to come up with a new map type, tailored to IoT networks. We have created and optimized an algorithm to create and plot this new map type, the circle map. We have used Bezier curves to connect nodes, arranged in recursive circular patterns. Overall, the circle map needs some refinement and real user research before realworld application, but its core concepts seem to work, and our algorithm efficiently creates circle maps.

Here, we present how processing (solvent casting or isothermal crystallization) impacts crystallinity of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) and its nanocomposites (PLA/1 wt % cellulose nanofibers (CNFs), PLA/1 wt % nanoclay (C30B) or PLA/1 wt % CNF/1 wt % C30B. Polarized optical microscopy demonstrated a heterogeneous nucleation process during isothermal crystallization leading to smaller homogeneously distributed spherulites. With solvent casting, no effect on morphology was observed with respect to the nanoparticles, but an increased spherulite size was observed at higher temperatures. This fact raises significant concerns regarding the suitability of solvent casting as a lab-scale procedure to investigate materials. Additionally, combining the reinforcing agents, CNF, and C30B, did not increase nucleation rate, in contrast with the general tendency, where the incorporation of both particles led to improved properties (e.g., thermomechanical and barrier properties). However, a combination of C30B and CNF did lead to an overall increase in the rigid amorphous fraction and a reduced mobile amorphous fraction. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. The purpose of this paper is to develop a fuzzy model of the risk assessment for environmental start-up projects in the air transport sector at the stage of business expansion. The model developed for the following software will be a useful tool for the risk decision support system of investment funds in financing environmental start-up projects at the stage of market conquest. Developing a quantitative risk assessment for environmental start-up projects for the air transport sector will increase the resilience of making risk decisions about their financing by the investors. In this paper, a set of 21 criteria for assessing the risk of launching environmental start-up projects in the air transport sector were formulated for the first time by presenting inputs in the form of a linguistic risk assessment and the number of credible expert considerations. The fuzzy risk assessment model, based on expert knowledge, uses linguistic variables, reveals the uncertainty of the input data, and displays a risk assessment with linguistic interpretation. The result of the paper is a fuzzy model that is embedded in a generalized algorithm and tested in an example risk assessment of environmental start-up projects in the air transport sector.
