As a result of the study the concept of economic potential of digital solutions of the industrial enterprise is developed; the definition of sustainable economic development of the company is clarified; a new indicator of economic efficiency evaluation of the development of digital solutions potential and digital economy is proposed.

Purpose: to conduct research dedicated to assessing the impact of primary soil cultivation techniques and the microelements application on the yield of cereal and leguminous grain crops. Materials and methods. The effect of moldboard plowing (25–27 cm), flat-cutting (20–22 cm), minimum surface tillage (8–10 cm) and no-tillage on the yield of leguminous crops (soybeans, peas, chickpeas) and cereal grains (spring wheat, Sudan grass) is studied. The studies were conducted at the experimental production farm of the Volga Research Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Land Reclamation in 2022–2024 using generally accepted methods. Results. The impact of basic tillage techniques and the impact of micro-fertilizers on vegetation in cereal and leguminous crops agrocenoses on productivity and its structure have been studied. The use of flat-cutting and the micronutrients application for cereals and legumes increased the yield indicators on average for soybeans – by 65.9 %, peas – 48.5 %, chickpeas – 41.8 %, spring wheat – 61.3 %, Sudan grass – 26.3 % compared with the no-tillage option. The maximum yield was obtained on soybeans with the use of flat-cutting tillage – 3.45 t/ha, and the minimum at no-tillage – 1.94 t/ha. The impact of flat-cutting tillage on the spring wheat productivity is expressed by an increase in yield by 0.34 t/ha, compared with no-tillage. Chickpea yield is higher when using flat-cutting tillage with leaf dressing – 2.75 t/ha, and without tillage and dressing – 1.87 t/ha. The yield of Sudan grass of two staves when using flat cutting tillage with the micronutrients application on vegetation is 40.37 t/ha and 31.50 t/ha with no-tillage. Conclusions. For the soil and climatic conditions of the dry steppe Volga region, it has been proven that when cultivating chickpeas, soybeans, peas, Sudan grass and spring wheat as examples, the best indicators of the crop structure were achieved in variants using flat-cutting tillage against the background of the micronutrients application to vegetative plants.

Intermarriage is one of the striking examples of extreme diversity as a key characteristic of the modern world. The most common and the most actively studied form of intermarriage are interracial, interethnic and interfaith marriages, as evidenced by the situations in different countries, primarily those that are actively accepting migrants. Studying intermarriages requires a complex approach that primarily includes an understanding of their place and role in migration, socio-economic, demographic and socio-cultural processes both in each country individually and globally. Based on this premise the author focuses on foreign studies of intermarriages in countries that actively accept migrants, such as the United States, Canada, Australia and Western European countries. The narrative logic consists of systematizing the recurring themes and problems of this social phenomenon which are united by the goal of identifying and describing the features of intermarriages, often from the perspective of comparison with monogamous marriages. The review is divided into two parts. The first one briefly examines the conceptual basis of intermarriage studies which consists of theories united by the concept of exchange: the theory of social exchange, the theory of the marriage market and the transaction model — in sociology; theory of interdependence, investment model and theory of resource exchange — in social psychology. The second part focuses on three topics that most vividly reveal the features of any type of intermarriage. Firstly, the external factors determining physical and socio-cultural accessibility that create either opportunities or restrictions for mixed marriages are considered. Among the individual factors are age, gender, education, and socioeconomic status, religious, ethnic or racial affiliation which are considered both as personal qualities of participants in the marriage market and as exchanged resources. The review is concluded by analyzing how intermarriage influences the partners in marriage, as well as the communities to which the partners belong, and society as a whole. From the partners’ perspective the psychological and socio-psychological qualities that determine the stability of intra-family relations of mixed unions, conflicts and their resolution are considered. The long-term influence is determined through the place and role of children born in mixed marriages, as well as through the place and role of intermarriages in the mutual social integration of different groups in general.

The content of water-soluble carbohydrates and respiration rate in the crown tissue of winter wheat, rye and triticale in autumn – winter – spring were studied. In the period and of winter significant differences were revealed between winter crops in the rate of respiration and content of carbohydrates. Respiration of wheat in mid-March increased over February to 33%, and the content of carbohydrates during this period decreased by 10%. Despite the increase in environment temperature by mid-March of winter rye and triticale showed not increase, but rather decrease in the rate of respiration. A higher level of plant resistance of winter rye and triticale to low temperatures, as compared to winter wheat is associated with carbohydrate status and higher stability of respiration process in winter rye and triticale in response to temperature rise in end of winter.

Evaluation of the parameters such as tumor microenvironment (TME) and tumor budding (TB) is one of the most important steps in colorectal cancer (CRC) diagnosis and cancer development prognosis. In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has been successfully used to solve such problems. In this paper, we summarize the latest data on the use of artificial intelligence to predict tumor microenvironment and tumor budding in histological scans of patients with colorectal cancer. We performed a systematic literature search using 2 databases (Medline and Scopus) with the following search terms: (''tumor microenvironment'' OR ''tumor budding'') AND (''colorectal cancer'' OR CRC) AND (''artificial intelligence'' OR ''machine learning '' OR ''deep learning''). During the analysis, we gathered from the articles performance scores such as sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of identifying TME and TB using artificial intelligence. The systematic review showed that machine learning and deep learning successfully cope with the prediction of these parameters. The highest accuracy values in TB and TME prediction were 97.7% and 97.3%, respectively. This review led us to the conclusion that AI platforms can already be used as diagnostic aids, which will greatly facilitate the work of pathologists in detection and estimation of TB and TME as instruments and second-opinion services. A key limitation in writing this systematic review was the heterogeneous use of performance metrics for machine learning models by different authors, as well as relatively small datasets used in some studies.

The subject of the article. In this article, the processes observed in the sphere of the budgetary method of conducting the state economy – the most important category characterizing the status of the state and territorial entities descending into its composition in the field of public finance are considered. The essence of this category is considered in relation to the budgetary structure of the state and the state structure. The budgetary method of state governance is investigated as a category corresponding to the financial and legal status of the modern Russian state – the Russian Federation. The content of the constituent entities of the study is disclosed from the position of updating the composition of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation – the entry of new constituent entities of the Federation into its composition over the last period, namely the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol, the Donetsk People's Republic, the Luhansk People's Republic.Purpose. The influence of the military situation at the domestic and international levels on the legislative support of the modification of the budgetary method of state governance in the Russian Federation is shown, which was the main goal set by the author in this work. The methodological basis of the article consists of general scientific (dialectics, analysis and synthesis, abstraction and concretization) and private scientific research methods (formal legal, comparative legal, concrete sociological, technical-legal, systemic-structural, historical-legal, logical, etc.).Main results. The influence of the processes taking place in the sphere of the state structure of the Russian Federation, the administrative-territorial division of the state on the trends and possible prospects of modification of the budgetary method of state governance – in terms of changing the approaches of rulemaking to the implementation of financial legal relations corresponding to the budget method and law enforcement practice in this area is considered. Special attention is paid to the modification of approaches to the organization of inter-budgetary relations in the renewed Russian Federation, the ways dictated by the legislator of the formation of budget revenues of new subjects of the Federation and the implementation of public expenditures.Conclusions. The author substantiates that the processes associated with the modification of the composition of territorial entities within the Russian state have an impact not only on the approaches to the organization of power and management, the expansion of the structure of state bodies, but also on legal regulation and law enforcement practice in the field of public finance, the formation, redistribution and use of which is based on-the implementation of the budgetary method of state governance.

Nitrates are the basic source of nitrogen for the majority of plants. Absorption and transformation of nitrates in plants are determined by external conditions and, first of all, temperature and light intensity. The influence of the temperature increasing till +40 0С on activity of nitrate reductase was studied. It is shown, that the rise of temperature was accompanied by sharp decrease of activity nitrate reductase in leaves of winter wheat, what, apparently, occurred for the account deactivations of enzyme and due to its dissociation.

While blood clot formation has been relatively well studied, little is known about the mechanisms underlying the subsequent structural and mechanical clot remodeling called contraction or retraction. Impairment of the clot contraction process is associated with both life-threatening bleeding and thrombotic conditions, such as ischemic stroke, venous thromboembolism, and others. Recently, blood clot contraction was observed to be hindered in patients with COVID-19. A three-dimensional multiscale computational model is developed and used to quantify biomechanical mechanisms of the kinetics of clot contraction driven by platelet-fibrin pulling interactions. These results provide important biological insights into contraction of platelet filopodia, the mechanically active thin protrusions of the plasma membrane, described previously as performing mostly a sensory function. The biomechanical mechanisms and modeling approach described can potentially apply to studying other systems in which cells are embedded in a filamentous network and exert forces on the extracellular matrix modulated by the substrate stiffness.

One of the primary sources of trace elements in the environment is wastewater used for irrigation. However, the effects of untreated wastewater containing high concentrations of chromium and zinc on vegetables and the potential human health risks associated with their consumption are poorly understood. This pot experiment aimed to address this research gap. The accumulation of chromium and zinc and their effect on the biochemical parameters of lettuce (Lactuca sativa) and green onion (Allium fistulosum L.) irrigated with untreated industrial effluents were assessed. The average concentrations of chromium and zinc in the edible parts of the vegetables ranged between 7.36 and 7.58 mg/kg dry weight and 59.8 and 833 mg/kg dry weight, respectively. The irrigation of the lettuce with the effluent containing zinc at a concentration of 2.95 mg/L led to a significant increase in the content of phenols and the antioxidant activity. A significant reduction in the chlorophyll content of the lettuce leaves and the antioxidant activity of the onion leaves was observed when the plants were irrigated with the effluent containing zinc at a concentration of 78 mg/L. No non-carcinogenic health risk from the intake of chromium and zinc was identified through the consumption of lettuce and green onion, primarily due to the fact that a smaller proportion of the total metal content was transferred to their edible parts.

Autoimmune diseases are characterized by dysregulation of immune responses and damage to healthy body tissues. Their complete cure remains elusive, and existing therapies are often accompanied by side effects. Recent studies have shown a signifi cant role of disturbances in the composition of the microbiome in the development of autoimmune reactions. Moreover, modulation of the microbiome through various therapeutic interventions represents a promising direction in the framework of complex therapy of the underlying disease. Extracellular vesicles, in particular exosomes, transport biologically active substances between cells, and a number of studies have shown their therapeutic effect in autoimmune diseases. However, the role of extracellular vesicles in modulating the microbiome remains poorly understood, and further research is needed to better understand their impact on the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases and associated microbiome changes, as well as to develop new treatment strategies. The presented literature review, based on a study of English-language sources, examines the importance of the microbiota of different loci of the human body (intestines, skin, oral cavity) in the development of autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis, psoriasis and Sjögren’s disease. The role of extracellular vesicles in modulating the microbiome during autoimmune diseases therapy is discussed.

Adenovirus vaccines, particularly the COVID-19 Ad5-nCoV adenovirus vaccine, have emerged as promising tools in the fight against infectious diseases. In this study, we investigated the structure of the T cell response to the Spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus used in the COVID-19 Ad5-nCoV adenoviral vaccine in a phase 3 clinical trial (NCT04540419). In 69 participants, we collected peripheral blood samples at four time points after vaccination or placebo injection. Sequencing of T cell receptor repertoires from Spike-stimulated T cell cultures at day 14 from 17 vaccinated revealed a more diverse CD4+ T cell repertoire compared to CD8+. Nevertheless, CD8+ clonotypes accounted for more than half of the Spike-specific repertoire. Our longitudinal analysis showed a peak T cell response at day 14, followed by a decline until month 6. Remarkably, multiple T cell clonotypes persisted for at least 6 months after vaccination, as demonstrated by ex vivo stimulation. Examination of CDR3 regions revealed homologous sequences in both CD4+ and CD8+ clonotypes, with major CD8+ clonotypes sharing high similarity with annotated sequences specific for the NYNYLYRLF peptide, suggesting potential immunodominance. In conclusion, our study demonstrates the immunogenicity of the Ad5-nCoV adenoviral vaccine and highlights its ability to induce robust and durable T cell responses. These findings provide valuable insight into the efficacy of the vaccine against COVID-19 and provide critical information for ongoing efforts to control infectious diseases.

The article presents a clinical case of adult patient with pharmacoresistant epilepsy lacking focal cerebral morphological changes, who was surgically implanted with a vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) system. The results of 6 months-long treatment were analyzed. In addition, available publications were reviewed to evaluate effectiveness of the VNS system in different patient groups. Current clinical case was featured with significant positive dynamics revealed by regression of epileptic seizures and no recorded epileptiform activity based on electroencephalography during VNS stimulation. In the absence of morphological cerebral focal changes in adult patients, installation of the VNS system is an effective and safe method to control pharmacoresistant epilepsy.

The study of migrant entrepreneurship in Russia is a relatively recent and complex social phenomenon. Its uniqueness stems from the surge in international migration, primarily from former regions of the Soviet Union, coinciding with significant socio-economic transformations, specifically the shift from the Soviet centrally planned economy to a market economy. This context partly explains the limited empirical research and the absence of a comprehensive theoretical foundation for such studies in Russian social science. Seeking to fill this gap, this article provides a brief overview of migrant entrepreneurship approaches, methods, empirical evidence, and findings. The research compares the data on migrants from Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan who started their businesses since the 1990s. The study includes 58 in-depth semi-structured interviews conducted between 2017 and 2019, supplemented by a questionnaire survey of Kyrgyz entrepreneurs (a sample of 200 persons), and an analysis of the Kyrgyz business platform, Tabarman, on social networks. The comprehensive analysis of the mutual influence of structural, group, and personal characteristics of migrants reveals ideal types and developmental stages in Kyrgyz and Azerbaijani migrant entrepreneurship in Russia across different post-Soviet periods. This article enhances our understanding of the complex dynamics of migrant entrepreneurship in the evolving socio-economic landscape of post-Soviet Russia.

Purpose: to study the efficiency of using stimulating biologics on the productivity of leguminous crops in irrigated agrocenoses of the Volga region. Materials and methods. The field experience was laid in 2021–2023 on grain feed crop rotation. On the basis of the experimental production farm of the Volga Research Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Land Reclamation, studies were conducted on the use of stimulating biological preparations in the leguminous crop cultivation: an inoculation preparation containing Mesorin 7 + Rhizotorphin, which contains a fungicide + nitrogen-producing bacteria of high concentration; micro-fertilizers according to the phases of vegetation of leguminous crops, containing trace elements and amino acids. The control option was without the use of stimulating biologics and micronutrients. The following leguminous crops were used in the experiment: Marina soy varieties, Alpha peas and Russian black beans. Results. In the course of research, it was found that when seeds are treated before sowing with the biological preparation Mesorin 7 + Rhizotorphin, the growth of green mass from the flowering phase to the full ripeness phase of seeds is slow: peas – 1005.3–1153.5 g/m², soybeans – 2092.3–2997.3 g/m², beans – 3121.3–3324.3 g/m². When processing crops with micro fertilizers during the growing season to the phase of the beginning of bean formation, the increase in aboveground mass is: peas – 1668.5 g/m², soybeans – 2772.3 g/m², the highest value was found in beans 3140.5 g/m². The positive effect of stimulating biologics on the productivity and quality of leguminous crops when cultivated on irrigated lands was revealed. The maximum biological yield was achieved with the use of a set of micro fertilizers during the period of growth and development of soybean plants – 3.83 t/ha, peas – 1.52 t/ha, and the most promising is the production of beans with a yield of 13.08 t/ha. Conclusions. The results of studying the features of the formation and productivity of the agrophytocenosis of leguminous crops confirmed the high efficiency of the use of stimulating biological preparations and micro fertilizers to increase the yield on irrigation.

Aim: to present a clinical and morphological observation of an extremely rare combination of medullary carcinoma of the jejunum and intestinal lymphangiectasia in a 33-year-old patient with clinical features of malabsorption syndrome over the 10 years.Key points. An autopsy revealed a tumor formation spreading from the wall of the jejunum to the mesentery, with metastases to the mesenteric lymph nodes. The medullary carcinoma with positive expression of СD117, DOG1, EMA, PanCK, PDL-1, vimentin, mosaic non-intense expression of CA19-9, calretinin, CD10, CDX2, CEA, MUC-5AC, SATB2, and negative reaction to ALK, CD3, CD8, CD20, CD30, CD31, CD34, CD45, CD56, chromogranin, CK7, CK20, desmin. The proliferative index was high: Ki-67 > 80 %. Moreover, during the histological examination of the intestinal wall, intestinal lymphangiectasia complicated by the malabsorption syndrome was revealed.Conclusion. The uniqueness of this clinical and morphological case is in the combination of medullary carcinoma of the jejunum metastasized to the mesenteric lymph nodes with the underlying intestinal lymphangiectasia accompanied by the development of malabsorption syndrome.

The extensive development of nanotechnologies has allowed nanoparticles to impact living systems through different pathways. The effect of single exposure to high concentrations of silver and copper nanoparticles (50–200 mg/L) on Vaccinium myrtillus L. under field conditions was investigated. Nanoparticle uptake in different segments of Vaccinium myrtillus L. was assessed by applying inductively coupled plasma–atomic emission spectroscopy and a particle-induced X-ray emission technique. Copper nanoparticles mainly accumulated in the roots and leaves, while silver nanoparticles showed a higher affinity for the roots and berries. The nanoparticles’ effects on the pigments and antioxidant activity of the plant’s leaves were also evaluated. The possible human health risk associated with the consumption of nanoparticle-contaminated berries was assessed. The results indicated that the consumption of berries contaminated with nanoparticles presented a low risk for human health.

Compounds from plant extracts make dermatocosmetic products more effective as they avoid the adaptation and resistance of the organism and achieve a synergistic effect of the molecular properties of interest. Acmella oleracea extract is considered to have great potential in preventing oxidative damage and improving the appearance of the skin. The purpose of this article is to support the product formulated by preliminary studies of two types of O/W emulsions with 3% and 5% concentrations of Acmella oleracea extract. Physico-chemical methods were performed to evaluate the stability, microbiological control, rheological behavior and diffusion through the membrane. Good homogeneity, structural strength and flexibility, adequate skin diffusion, and high physico-chemical and microbiological stability were confirmed. The conclusions lead to the idea that these results require further in vivo studies as well as studies of toxicity and cytotoxicity to obtain the necessary data to place this product on the market.

A single-server queueing system with n classes of customers, stationary superposed input processes, and general class-dependent service times is considered. An exponential splitting is proposed to construct classical regeneration in this (originally non-regenerative) system, provided that the component processes have heavy-tailed interarrival times. In particular, we focus on input processes with Pareto interarrival times. Moreover, an approximating GI/G/1-type system is considered, in which the independent identically distributed interarrival times follow the stationary Palm distribution corresponding to the stationary superposed input process. Finally, Monte Carlo and regenerative simulation techniques are applied to estimate and compare the stationary waiting time of a customer in the original and in the approximating systems, as well as to derive additional information on the regeneration cycles’ structure.

Abstract Background There is a growing body of evidence that multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells’ (MSCs’) remarkable therapeutic potential is attributed not only to their differentiation and regenerative capacity, but also to the paracrine effect, underlying their immunomodulatory properties. MSCs’ secretome (i.e., cytokines, growth factors, and extracellular vesicles) is therefore increasingly discussed in the context of their ability to modulate inflammatory response and promote regeneration. There is evidence that 2D or 3D culturing conditions have an impact on the cells’ secretome, and here we aimed to compare the secretion of cytokines and growth factors in human MSCs from different sources cultured in 2D and 3D conditions and assess their effect on human macrophages polarization in vitro. Methods MSCs were derived from human adipose tissue, bone marrow, gingiva, placenta, and umbilical cord, cultured as monolayers or as cell spheroids. Their cytokine profiles were analyzed, and data standardization was carried out using a z-score. Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells-derived macrophages were then treated with umbilical cord-derived MSCs’ conditioned media and their effect on macrophages polarization was assessed. Results Our findings suggest that umbilical cord-derived MSCs’ conditioned media demonstrated the highest cytokine and growth factor levels and despite mostly pro-inflammatory cytokine profile were able to promote anti-inflammatory macrophage polarization. Conclusions Umbilical cord-derived MSCs’ conditioned media hold great potential for therapeutic use, demonstrating significant anti-inflammatory effect on human macrophages.

Nanoparticles, due to their extensive production and application, can have significant consequences for the environment, including soil and plant pollution. Therefore, it is very important to assess how nanoparticles will affect plants depending on the exposure pathways. The effect of gold nanoparticles in a concentration range of 1–100 mg/L on Mentha spicata L. during a 28-day experiment was investigated. Two routes of nanoparticles exposure were applied: root and foliar. Transmission electron microscopy was used to characterize nanoparticles and their effect on plant leaves’ ultrastructure. Gold content in soil and plant segments was determined using k0-neutron activation analysis. For root exposure, gold was mainly accumulated in soil (15.2–1769 mg/kg) followed by root systems (2.99–454 mg/kg). The maximum accumulation of gold in leaves (5.49 mg/kg) was attained at a nanoparticle concentration of 100 mg/L. Foliar exposure resulted in the maximum uptake of gold in leaves (552 mg/kg) and stems (18.4 mg/kg) at the highest applied nanoparticle concentration. The effect of nanoparticles on the Mentha spicata L. leaves’ biochemical composition was assessed. Nanoparticles affected the content of chlorophyll and carotenoids and led to an increase in antioxidant activity. Root exposure to gold nanoparticles resulted in an increase in the number of starch grains in chloroplasts and also suppressed the activity of the soil microbiota. Gold extraction from mint leaves into herbal infusion varied from 2 to 90% depending on the concentration of nanoparticles in the solution and the exposure route. The health risk as a result of gold exposure via herbal tea intake was assessed through estimated daily intake. The hazard quotient values were found to be less than the cutoff, indicating that a cup of tea infusion should not cause a serious impact to human health.

In this paper, we introduce and study the relations between parameters of the m-component mixture distributions which imply the stochastic and failure rate comparisons. Then we apply the failure rate and stochastic ordering techniques to construct the upper and lower bounds for the steady-state performance indexes in a multiserver queueing system with multicomponent exponential-Pareto mixture service time distribution. The uniform distance between multicomponent mixture distribution and its parent distribution is discussed.
