The study aimed to recognize the supply chains used in the marketing of vegetables and their products, as well as the trends of changes occurring in it. An analysis of vegetable production in the World and Poland was made. The study presents a diagram of the supply chain in agribusiness prepared by the authors. Using the graphical method, a presentation of the flow of raw materials and vegetable products was made, starting from producers of production means for agriculture to the final consumer. The directions of changes in the production of vegetables and their products are presented. The literature of the subject, official statistical data, and studies prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as well as the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Food Economy - National Research Institute were used in the research. It was found that the vegetable logistics chain includes thousands of farmers, fruit and vegetable processing units, wholesale and retail trade. Such a chain must be very flexible, adapting to the challenges of domestic and foreign markets. The condition for success in implementing supply chains of the vegetable sector is the efficiency of their management, solidarity and trust of participants.

The main purpose of the paper was to present changes in the concentration level of individual animal production in Poland. All Polish voivodships were selected for research purposefully. The research period concerned the years 2005-2019. The source of material was the literature on the subject and data from the Central Statistical Office. For the analysis and presentation of materials, descriptive, tabular and graphic methods as well as dynamics based on a constant basis, the Gini concentration factor and concentration analysis using the Lorenz curve were used. Specialization in animal production was found in several voivodships, such as Mazowieckie and Wielkopolskie. There were also voivodships focused on a given type of animal production, like Podlaskie on milk production. The concentration of animal production increased, which meant an even greater concentration of activities in several voivodships. The exception was sheep production, for which a decrease in the concentration of the sheep population and lamb production was noted. A reduction in the concentration of production also occurred in the production of veal meat. It should be noted that, as a rule, the dominant voivodships in given animal production increased the number of animals and the production of products obtained from these groups of farm animals the most.

The study presents the importance of logistics in deepening globalization, especially in the use of maritime transport. This transport industry is the most widely used in the international flow of goods. It was found that world-wide transport from the mid-1990s increased almost by half, which was due to the most increased shipment of general cargo (2.6 times) and container loads (2 times). If the current trends in the pace of globalization processes are maintained in the future, rapidly developing Asian countries will be the deciding factor, while the role of developed European countries and the United States will decline. / Synopsis. W opracowaniu przedstawiono znaczenie logistyki w pogłębianiu globalizacji, zwłaszcza w zakresie wykorzystania transportu morskiego. Ten dział transportu jest bowiem najszerzej wykorzystywany w międzynarodowych przepływach towarów. Stwierdzono, że przewozy w skali świata od połowy lat 90. wzrosły prawie o połowę, do czego przyczyniło się najbardziej zwiększone przemieszczanie ładunków drobnicowych (2,6-krotnie) i kontenerowych (2 razy). The aim of the study was to assess the degree of use of agroforestry crops in the European Union. The article presents the concentration of this type of crops in the EU countries and identifies factors related to the area and share of agroforestry crops. The source of the materials constituted data of EUROSTAT and LUCAS. The study period concerned 2015. The concentration of agroforestry crops occurred in southern Europe, especially in Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece. Within each given country there was a large regional diversity. The largest share of agroforestry crops in agricultural lands was found in Cyprus, Portugal, Greece and Bulgaria, while the lowest was in the Czech Republic, Denmark and Germany. The sequence was different when pledging agroforestry to the national territory. A very strong, significant, positive dependence of agroforestry crop surface area on the surface of the country, surface area of UAA and gross value added of agriculture was found. The occurrence of these regularities results from the large influence of the scale of a given country and its agricultural activity on the use of agroforestry systems. There was no relation between the intensity level of agricultural production and the use of agroforestry systems. The reasons for using agro-crops should be sought in the tradition and culture of the countries and even regions. / Synopsis. Celem głównym badań była ocena stopnia występowania systemów agroleśnych (rolno-leśnych)w krajach Unii Europejskiej. W artykule przedstawiono koncentrację tego rodzaju upraw w krajach UE oraz określono czynniki powiązane z powierzchnia i udziałem systemów agroleśnych. Źródłem materiałów były bazy danych z EUROSTAT oraz LUCAS. Okres badań dotyczył 2015 roku Koncentracja systemów rolno-leśnych występowała w południowej Europie, a szczególnie w Hiszpanii, Portugalii, Włoszech i Grecji. W ramach danego kraju występowało duże zróżnicowanie regionalne. Największy udział systemów agroleśnych w użytkach rolnych stwierdzono na Cyprze, w Portugalii, Grecji i Bułgarii, zaś najmniejszy w Czechach, Danii i w Niemczech. Przy zastawieniu obszarów agroleśnych do terytorium kraju kolejność państw była inna. Stwierdzono bardzo silną, istotną, dodatnią zależność powierzchni systemów agroleśnych z powierzchnią kraju, powierzchnią UR oraz wartością dodaną brutto rolnictwa. Wystąpienie tych prawidłowości wynika z dużego wpływu skali danego państwa i prowadzonej w nim działalności rolniczej na stosowanie systemów rolno-leśnych. Nie stwierdzono związku poziomu intensywności produkcji rolniczej ze stosowaniem systemów agroleśnych. The aim of the study was to assess the regionalization of agricultural production around the world and the changes that have occurred in this respect. The article presents the value of agricultural production in regions of the world defined by the continents. The source of the material was data from FAOSTAT. The period of research covered the years 2007-2014. The value of world agricultural production has steadily increased. Only at the time of the economic crisis in 2009 and in 2014 were declines seen in all areas other than Asia. There was a high concentration of agricultural production in Asia and Europe. There was a gradual relocation of production from Europe and North America to Asia and South America. These regularities have been confirmed also in the analysis of individual groups of agricultural products like cereals and animal products. At the same time, there was a very high concentration and a high degree of variation in agricultural production in the regions. Disproportions increased faster in food products than non-food products produced in agriculture. / Synopsis. Celem głównym badań była ocena regionalizacji produkcji rolniczej na świecie oraz występującym w tym aspekcie zmian. W artykule przedstawiono wartość produkcji rolnictwa w regionach świata określanych przez kontynenty. Źródłem materiałów były dane z FAOSTAT. Okres badań dotyczył lat 2007-2014. Wartość światowej produkcji rolniczej stale wzrastała. Jedynie w momencie kryzysu gospodarczego w 2009 roku oraz w 2014 roku zaobserwowano spadki we wszystkich obszarach poza Azją. Zauważono, że występowała duża koncentracja produkcji rolniczej, która była skupiona w Azji i Europie. Następowało stopniowe przenoszenie się produkcji z Europy i Ameryki Północnej do Azji i Ameryki Południowej. Prawidłowości te zostały potwierdzone również przy analizie poszczególnych grup produktów rolnych, jak zboża i produkty zwierzęce. Jednocześnie stwierdzono bardzo dużą koncentrację i występowanie dużego zróżnicowania produkcji rolniczej w regionach.
