Abstract

Objetivo: Analizar casos de violencia sexual entre adolescentes en la escuela. Metodología: La investigación se originó a partir de un macroproyecto, transversal, descriptivo y cuantitativo, realizado en escuelas públicas de la ciudad de Picos, Piauí, Brasil, con escolares de 13 a 17 años. La recolección de datos tuvo lugar en 2018, a través de un cuestionario autocompletado por los participantes. De la muestra de 1.051 adolescentes se evaluaron 38 cuestionarios que señalaron victimización por violencia sexual en algún momento de su vida. Objective: Analyze cases of sexual violence among teenagers at school.Methodology: The investigation originated from a macro-project, transversal, descriptive and quantitative, carried out in public schools in the city of Picos, Piauí, Brazil, with schoolchildren aged 13 to 17 years. The collection of data takes place in 2018, through a self-completed questionnaire by the participants. From the sample of 1,051 adolescents, 38 questionnaires were evaluated who reported victimization for sexual violence at some point in their lives.

6. PREVALÊNCIA DO ALEITAMENTO MATERNO EXCLUSIVO E FATORES DE RISCO.

Abstract

The prevalence of exclusive breast-feeding at birth and its risk factors are assessed. Population comprised all live births (n=546) and their respective mothers between January and December 2015, in a hostel on the premises of a public hospital in Piauí, Brazil. Research was approved by the Committee for Ethics (protocol n. 1.144.279). Further, 97.6% of mothers underwent pre-natal and 67% were counseled for breast-feeding. The prevalence of exclusive breast-feeding and breast-feeding was 92.7 and 2.9%, respectively. Moreover, 20.7% of the children use pacifiers and 4.4% the feeding bottle. Interventions for the prevention of risk factors and early weaning are necessary through educational activities that serve as guidelines to mother and family members involved in breast-feeding.
