Abstract

O objetivo desse trabalho foi determinar o efeito de doses e épocas de aplicação de N nos parâmetros produtivos e na qualidade comercial de grãos de cultivares de feijoeiro. Foram conduzidos dois experimentos em condições de campo na safra de inverno de 2015. No primeiro, foi utilizado o esquema fatorial 2 x 2 x 7. Os tratamentos foram compostos por duas cultivares (BRS 104 e BRS Estilo), duas épocas de aplicação de N (semeadura e cobertura) com sete doses de N (0, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125 e 150 kg ha-1). No segundo, o delineamento foi fatorial 2 x 5. Os tratamentos foram as mesmas cultivares e cinco manejos de N (100 kg ha-1 de N na semeadura e 0 kg ha-1 em cobertura, 75 kg ha-1 de N na semeadura e 25 kg ha-1 em cobertura, 50 kg ha-1 de N na semeadura e 50 kg ha-1 em cobertura, 25 kg ha-1 de N na semeadura e 75 kg ha-1 em cobertura, e 0 kg ha-1 de N na semeadura e 100 kg ha-1 em cobertura). Doses crescentes de N proporcionam incrementos no número de vagens por planta e na produtividade de grãos da cultivar FC 104 quando aplicado na semeadura ou em cobertura e proporcionam incrementos no número de vagens por planta e na produtividade de grãos da cultivar BRS Estilo quando aplicado todo em cobertura, e proporcionam incrementos na qualidade comercial de grãos do feijoeiro das cultivares BRS Estilo e BRS FC 104. A aplicação de 100 kg ha-1 de N em cobertura proporciona maior massa de 100 grãos, produtividade e qualidade comercial dos grãos das cultivares BRS FC 104 e BRS Estilo. Abstract

We report a case of Klippel-Trenaunay-Weber syndrome presenting prenatally as a massive congenital lymphangiohemangioma of the thigh. Routine ultrasonographic examination revealed multiple distorted cystic areas extending from the right flank through the right lower extremity of a 30-week fetus. A diagnosis of cystic lymphangioma of the thigh was suspected prenatally. Neonatal evaluation confirmed the prenatal findings. Neonatal color Doppler imaging revealed blood vessels within the tumor. The differential diagnosis is discussed together with available therapeutic procedures.

Abstract

A male with a ring 13 chromosome [r(13)(p11q34)], mild mental retardation, short stature, oligoasthenospermia, and few dysmorphisms is reported. His mother who had a poor reproductive history is carrier of a t(13q13q), featuring a dicentric NOR-negative element. The clinical significance of the r(13) and the mother's unusual karyotype are discussed.

Abstract

The authors present the clinical and cytogenetic studies of a white malformed baby with dup (3p) secondary to the malsegregation of a maternal balanced (X;3) (p22.3;p21) translocation. Besides the typical clinical features he also presented polydactyly of both hands. X-replication findings of the mother's lymphocytes did not strictly follow the usual inactivation pattern of balanced X;A translocations.
