1. Curriculum and Physical Education: Bibliometric Analysis Using the Scopus Database

Abstract

The curriculum has been provided by an educational institution as a lesson plan in one period of education level. In physical education, the curriculum focuses on developing the skills and concepts of movement that students need. The main objective of this study was to conduct a bibliometric analysis of articles published in Scopus on curriculum and physical education. The results showed that the study of curriculum and physical education totaled 420 articles which began to be published in the Scopus database from 1931-2021. Then, the researcher carried out a filter that was only limited to journal articles and proceedings. So that the number of documents found was 359 publications, consisting of 349 articles from journals and 10 articles from the proceedings obtained. Based on publications in the Scopus database, the findings reveal that: the number of publications has increased, although there is an up and down trend from year to year; most of the publications are written by researchers located in several countries and universities; the United States of America is the country that contributes the most writers; Monash University from Australia is the most productive institution; and Matthew D. Curtner-Smith is the author most published and most influential cited articles; an influential topic, namely the hidden curriculum. This analysis can provide insight into the development of research in the field of curriculum and physical education, and it can be a source of information for teachers, lecturers, schools, universities, and the world of education.

23. Trends and Patterns of Sports Research in Islam: Bibliometric Analysis Using the Scopus Database.

Abstract

Sports are highly recommended in Islam, especially archery, horse riding, and swimming. All three contain aspects of health, skill, accuracy, sportsmanship, and competition. The main objective of this study is to conduct a systematic analysis of trending research literature, especially on the topic of sports in Islam, using bibliometric analysis. This study uses a bibliometric analysis approach with the help of the VOSViewer application. The search results show 393 sports studies in Islam published from 1928-2021 using the Scopus database. Based on VOSViewer mapping, the findings reveal that: the number of publications from 1928 to 2021 fluctuated; Of the 393 documents published, the United Kingdom published the most articles (146 documents); Tansin Benn (University of Birmingham, Birmingham, United Kingdom) were the most influential authors contributing articles (17 documents) and was the most cited author (508 citations); the sources that published the most documents were the Journal of Sports Sciences (20 documents); the most influential documents (134 citations) was entitled "Young Muslim Women and Sport: The Impact of Identity Work" written by Kristin Walseth; keywords that often appear are "Islam, sport, gender, religion, Ramadan, Muslim, football, Muslim women, physical education, fasting". Abstract

The teacher gave material about basketball but it was constrained in the final practice test regarding the form of basketball skills test. This was seen during observations at schools in Bengkulu city. In generally, method of assessment in basketball material was in the form of a battery tests, but the tests used for the assessment were less effective. The aim of this research is to create instrument test of passing, shooting and dribble in basketball for Elementary School Students of Bengkulu City aged 10-13 years with a sample of 50 male students. The instrument of this research was a skill test of Battery Test that was modified by the researcher so that it got a valid and reliable instrument for elementary school students with validity of dribbling is 0.65, passing is 0.78 and shooting is 0.73. Furthermore, the reliable of dribbling is 0.85, passing is 0.85 and shooting is 0.78.

Abstract

Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan di klub bolabasket SMA Negeri 1, bahwa kemampuan dribbling para pemain bolabasket kurang baik sehingga menyebabkan minimnya prestasi yang didapat. Masalah inilah diduga disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain rendahnya tingkat kecepatan dari pemain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi kecepatan terhadap kemampuan dribbling bolabasket atlet SMA Negeri 1. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh pemain klub bolabasket SMA Negeri 1 sebanyak 23 orang putera dan 3 orang puteri, sedangkan sampel diambil secara purposive sampling, dimana teknik purposive sampling adalah teknik pengambilan sampel dengan didasarkan ketentuan tertentu, untuk itulah maka dalam penelitian ini penulis hanya mengambil sampel atlet bolabasket putera saja. Ini didasarkan dengan pertimbangan adanya perbedaan kemampuan fisik antara atlet putera dengan atlet puteri. Sehingga diperoleh sampel dengan jumlah 23 orang pemain putera. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian di lapangan basket SMA Negeri 1 Lebong Utara, adapun waktu penelitian adalah bulan juli 2011. Data kecepatan diambil dengan tes lari sprint 30 meter, dan data kemampuan dribbling diambil dengan tes dribbling. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dengan analisis korelasi sederhana dan korelasi ganda. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara kecepatan dengan kemampuan dribbling bolabasket atlet SMA Negeri 1, dengan nilai r = 0,761 didapat r2 = 0,580, adapun besar kontribusinya adalah 58%, (2) terdapat Kontribusi yang signifikan antara kelincahan dan kecepatan secara bersama-sama dengan kemampuan dribbling bolabasket atlet SMA Negeri 1, dengan nilai R = 0,799 didapat R2= 0,639, adapun besar kontribusinya adalah 63,9 %.
