Po��me plac�� en t��te de la majorit�� des ��ditions des Illuminations, �� Apr��s le D��luge �� a suscit�� des approches multiples, qui ont laiss�� dans l���ombre quelques points de r��sistance. On se propose ici de revenir sur ces points, en r����valuant notamment l���intertextualit�� romantique de cette po��sie post-biblique, son rapport �� l���art de la gravure, mais aussi ses r��sonances dans l�����uvre de Rimbaud, en particulier dans les po��mes de 1872., Placed as the opening poem of most editions of Illuminations, ���Apr��s le D��luge��� has been interpreted in numerous ways, which have left some difficult questions unanswered. This discussion takes a fresh look at these points, re-evaluating in particular the Romantic intertextuality of this post-biblical poetry, its relationship to the art of engraving, but also its resonances in Rimbaud���s work, and especially in the poems of 1872.

Centr�� sur l�����tude du Bateau vire, cet article se propose d���emprunter un parcours intertextuel qui privil��gie certains lieux de r��sonance po��tique, id��ologique et politique. Il tente de montrer que Rimbaud se met �� l�����coute de la tradition biblique des Psaumes, pour mieux circonscrire un champ de r��f��rence domin�� par Poe, Baudelaire et Hugo. Le po��me ouvre ainsi un champ de lisibilit�� qui conjugue aventure du po��me et fluctuation de la pens��e., Taking ���Le Bateau ivre��� as its point of critical focus, the present study takes an intertextual path in and out of the poem in order to account for its varying sites of poetic, ideological and political resonance with other poems and poets. Rimbaud deftly moves from the Biblical psalm tradition to an intertextual field dominated by references to Poe, Baudelaire, and Hugo ��� so that the adventure of the poem itself is tightly interwoven with the form and fluctuations of thought.
