This research aims to study the effect of magnetic nanoparticles of Fe3O4 (MNP Fe3O4) containing gambogic acid (GA-MNP Fe3O4) on colorectal cancer (CRC). MNP Fe3O4 enhanced the antitumor effect of GA by inhibiting the malignant behavior of CRC cells. RORB was a target of GA, and GA activated RORB expression to inhibit metastasis of CRC. Knockdown of RORB impaired the effect of GA-MNP Fe3O4 on CRC metastasis. EMILIN1 was a target of RORB, and RORB promoted transcription of EMILIN1. Overexpression of EMILIN1 reversed the effect of knockdown of RORB on GA-MNP Fe3O4 and inhibited metastasis in CRC. These findings revealed that MNP Fe3O4 enhanced the antitumor effect of GA and activated RORB to promote EMILIN1 transcription and inhibit CRC metastasis.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a primary liver cancer with high pathogenicity and extremely poor prognosis. The role of circular RNAs (circRNAs) in HCC carcinogenesis and progression remains to be determined. Based on the analysis of HCC-related databases, as well as the expression analysis and identification of 25 HCC patient tissues and HCC cell lines, we found that the hsa_circ_0031431 (circCOCH) is significantly highly expressed in HCC tissues and cell lines. High circCOCH expression is associated with enhanced tumor proliferation and metastasis, and knocking down circCOCH can inhibit the growth of HCC in vivo and in vitro. Mechanistic studies show that circCOCH upregulates the expression of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) through sponge miR-450a, thereby activating the Phosphoinositide 3-kinases (PI3Ks) cell pathway to promote HCC proliferation and metastasis. Futhermore, we found that IGF2BP3 mediates the biogenesis of circCOCH. The present study provides innovative insights into the role of circRNAs in the etiology of HCC carcinogenesis and might serve as a new promising therapeutic target for HCC.

To examine what challenges and experiences a mother faces in caring for children with cerebral palsy (CP). As the main caregiver of children with CP, mothers are under multiple pressures. Even though mothers’ challenges and experiences of children with CP will affect their quality of life and the rehabilitation of the children, little is known about their challenges and experiences during the whole care.

Summary: Background: Limited therapeutic options are available for metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) patients after failure of first- and second-line therapies, representing an unmet medical need for novel therapies. Methods: This is an open-label, single arm, multicenter, phase Ⅱ study aiming to perform the efficacy, safety and genomic analysis of SCT200, a noval fully humanized IgG1 anti-epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) monoclonal antibody, in patients with fluorouracil, irinotecan and oxaliplatin refractory RAS and BRAF wild-type mCRC. SCT200 (6 mg/kg) was given weekly for the first six weeks, followed by a higher dose of 8 mg/kg every two weeks until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity. Primary endpoint was independent review committee (IRC)-assessed objective response rate (ORR) and secondary endpoints included ORR in patients with left-sided tumor, disease control rate (DCR), duration of response (DoR), time to response (TTR), progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS) and safety. Findings: From February 12, 2018 to December 1, 2019, a total of 110 patients aged between 26 and 77 years (median: 55; interquartile range [IQR]: 47–63) with fluorouracil, oxaliplatin, and irinotecan refractory RAS and BRAF wild-type mCRC were enrolled from 22 hospitals in China. As the data cut-off date on May 15, 2020, the IRC-assessed ORR and DCR was 31% (34/110, 95% confidence interval [CI] 22–40%) and 75% (82/110, 95% CI 65–82%), respectively. Thirty one percent (34/110) patients achieved confirmed partial response (PR). The median PFS and median OS were 5.1 months (95% CI 3.4–5.2) and 16.2 months (95% CI 11.1-not available [NA]), respectively. The most common ≥ grade 3 treatment-related adverse events (TRAEs) were hypomagnesemia (17%, 19/110) and acneiform dermatitis (11%, 12/110). No deaths occurred. Genomic analysis suggested positive association between MYC amplification and patients’ response (P = 0.0058). RAS/RAF mutation and MET amplification were the most frequently detected resistance mechanisms. Patients with high circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) at baseline or without ctDNA clearance at the 7th week after the first dose of SCT200 administration before receiving SCT200 had worse PFS and OS. Interpretation: SCT200 exhibited promising clinical efficacy and manageable safety profiles in RAS and BRAF wild-type mCRC patients progressed on fluorouracil, irinotecan and oxaliplatin treatment. The baseline ctDNA and ctDNA clearance status at the 7th week after the first dose of SCT200 administration before receiving SCT200 could be a potential prognostic biomarker for RAS and BRAF wild-type mCRC patients with SCT200 therapy. The quality governance level of an industry is a multi-index evaluation problem that must consider multiple dimensions and factors. This study is the first to construct a comprehensive quality governance evaluation model for the civil aircraft industry of China (CAIC). The index system for the quality governance evaluation of CAIC was established using a literature review, enterprise investigation, expert interviews, and questionnaire surveys. An Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was employed to determine index weights. Based on the evaluation model, data from 53 aviation manufacturing enterprises were collected, and the quality governance level of the CAIC was empirically evaluated; thus, quantitative and qualitative evaluation results were obtained. This empirical study shows that the quality governance of the CAIC is currently at a “medium to low” level. Furthermore, critical factors and bottleneck indices restricting the quality governance level of the CAIC were identified.

Plastic straws are well-known tools to assist human beings in drinking fluid, but most of them have micro-defects including black spot defects, head problems, pressure tube defects, and sealing wrinkles. The manual detection of these defects has drawbacks such as low efficiency, a high false detection rate, and excessive labor. This paper proposed machine vision-based detection with self-adaption and high-accuracy characteristics. A serial synthesis of algorithms including homomorphic filtering, Nobuyuki Otsu, and morphological opening operations is proposed to obtain plastic straws with binary images with good performance, and it was further found that the convolutional neural network can be designed to realize the real-time recognition of black spot defects, where the corner detection algorithm demonstrates the linear fitting of the edge point of the straw with the effective detection of sealing wrinkle defects. We also demonstrated that the multi-threshold classification algorithm is used to detect defects effectively for head problems and pressure tube defects. The detection system based on machine vision successfully overcomes shortcomings of manual inspection, which has high inspection efficiency and adaptively detects multiple defects with 96.85% accuracy. This research can effectively help straw companies achieve high-quality automated production and promotes the application of machine vision in plastic straw defects with the aid of machine learning.

Layer dependence is an important aspect to properties of van der Waals materials. Here, the authors obtain layer dependent multiple polarization states in 3 R MoS2 and propose a generalized model to describe their ferroelectric switching processes.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of different protein ingredients on the physical quality of extruded pellets. Five experimental diets were based on five formulations using fish meal (FM), poultry by-product meal (PBM), and three novel protein ingredients, yellow mealworm (YM), Clostridium ethanolic protein (CAP), and Chlorella variabilis (high protein strain, CV), mixed with wheat flour in a 7:3 ratio. The results showed that the CAP had the highest content of water absorption index and the lowest value of crude lipid. The pellets containing CAP had the lowest water solubility while having the highest expansion ratio. The CV had the highest values of crude lipid and pasting properties (peak viscosity and final viscosity). The feed containing CV had the highest hydration time. The PBM had the highest content of crude lipid and produced pellets with the lowest expansion ratio and floatability. The FM and YM had similar physiochemical properties and the qualities of pellets containing both were also similar. The extruded pellets produced with CAP had the highest pore area and porosity, while extruded pellets containing PBM had a smallest pore area and porosity. Background: Petite Integration Factor 1 (PIF1) is a multifunctional helicase and DNA processing enzyme that plays an important role in the process of several cancer types. However, the relationship between clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) and PIF1 remains unclear. This study aims to explore the role of PIF1 in ccRCC tumorigenesis and prognosis.Methods: Based on The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database, we retrieved and verified the expression of PIF1 in ccRCC tissues as well as normal tissues. To assess the protein expression of PIF1 by using the Human Protein Atlas and the Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC). We also performed receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis to differentiate the effectiveness of PIF1 in ccRCC and adjacent normal tissues. To evaluate the value of PIF1 on clinical outcomes in ccRCC patients by using multivariate methods and Kaplan‒Meier survival curves. Protein‒protein interaction (PPI) networks were made with STRING. We determined the relationship between the expression of PIF1 and immune cell infiltration with single-sample gene set enrichment analysis (ssGSEA).Results: Compared with normal tissues, the expression of PIF1 was significantly elevated in ccRCC. The mRNA expression of PIF1 is correlated with high TNM stage and high pathologic stage. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis showed that PIF1 was related to an area under the curve (AUC) value of 0.928 to distinguish between ccRCC tissues and normal tissues. Kaplan‒Meier survival analysis showed that the overall survival (OS) of ccRCC patients with a high level of PIF1 was significantly shorter than that of those with a low level of PIF1. PIF1 may play an important role in the occurrence of tumors. Correlation analysis showed that PIF1-mediated carcinogenesis may participate in the process of tumor immune escape in ccRCC.Conclusion: PIF1 could be a reference biomarker to identify ccRCC patients with poor prognosis. PIF1 may play a distinct role in the microenvironment of ccRCC by regulating tumor infiltration of immune cells, which is a new therapeutic target to affect the growth of the tumor.

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are the main precursors of pollution from ground ozone (O3) and PM2.5, which cause the deterioration of urban air quality. The emissions of VOCs from industrialized areas are significant and their characteristics are complex, which nowadays contribute significantly to the challenges of investigating the emission inventory. Taking a typical industrialized area in Tianjin as a case study, the anthropogenic VOCs emission inventory for 2020 was established in this study by using the activity data from a large-scale survey and the latest emission factors. The impact of VOCs on the environment was analyzed from the perspective of the combined control of PM2.5 and O3. The results showed that the total emission of VOCs in 2020 was about 1.68 Gg, mainly from industrial processes and mobile sources, which accounted for 38.4% and 36.5% of the total emissions, respectively. The top 10 emitted VOCs were toluene, acetone, ethylbenzene, m/p-xylene, i-pentane, n-hexane, formaldehyde, benzene, ethyl acetate and ethylene. The dominant species of O3 formation potential (OFP) were almost all aromatic hydrocarbons and alkenes, with m/p-xylene contributing the most to the OFP emissions (8.90%). The top 10 secondary organic aerosols formation potential (SOAP) emission species were aromatic hydrocarbons and long-chain alkanes, and the largest emission came from toluene (39.9%). An analysis of an ADMS diffusion model showed that VOCs emitted from traffic-heavy main roads and industrialized central areas had the greatest impact on the air quality in the surrounding areas. The VOCs concentration was higher in winter due to unfavorable meteorological conditions. Our research updated the VOC inventory of industrialized areas and evaluated VOCs species reactivity and their impact on ambient air quality.

ObjectiveTo explore the association between endometrial thickness (EMT) and adverse neonatal outcomes in frozen in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection-embryo transfer (IVF/ICSI-ET) cycles.MethodsThis retrospective study involved a total of 8,235 women under the age of 35 years who underwent IVF/ICSI cycles and received frozen embryo transfer (FET) at a tertiary-care academic medical from January 2015 to December 2019, resulting in a live singleton newborn. Patients were categorized into three groups depending on EMT: ≤7.5 mm, 7.5-12 mm and >12 mm. The primary outcome was low birthweight (LBW). The secondary outcomes were preterm birth (PTB), small-for-gestational age (SGA), large-for-gestational age (LGA) and high birthweight (HBW).Result(s)Compared with EMT >7.5–12 mm group, the risk of being born LBW was statistically significantly increased in the EMT ≤7.5 mm group (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] 2.179; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.305–3.640; P=.003), while dramatically decreased in the EMT >12 mm group (aOR 0.584; 95% CI, 0.403-0.844; P=.004). Moreover, newborn gender and pregnancy complications were all independent predictors for LBW. Furthermore, a significant decrease in birthweight was found in the EMT ≤7.5 mm group as compared with EMT >7.5–12 mm group and EMT >12 mm group (3,239 ± 612 vs. 3,357 ± 512 and 3,374 ± 479 g, respectively), and similar result was found in term of gestational age (38.41 ± 2.19 vs. 39.01 ± 1.68 and 39.09 ± 1.5 weeks, respectively).Conclusion(s)After frozen IVF/ICSI-ET, EMT ≤7.5 mm is independently associated with increased risk of LBW among women with singleton newborns. Therefore, we suggest that women with EMT ≤7.5 mm after achieving pregnancy by IVF/ICSI-ET treatment should warrant more attention to reduce the risk of delivering a LBW newborn.

Some of the existing fault diagnosis methods for rigid guide are only suitable for small sample data sets. Although some methods are suitable for large sample data sets, they ignore the multi-condition background in the actual working environment. The method of rigid guide fault diagnosis based on the convolutional neural network has the problems of huge data and computation, and easy to produce over-fitting. In order to solve these problems, a fault diagnosis method of rigid guide based on wavelet transform and improved convolutional neural network is proposed. Firstly, two kinds of defects, dislocation and gap, are set in the rigid cage guide. The vibration acceleration signals of the hoisting container under multiple working conditions are collected. Secondly, the collected vibration acceleration signals are converted into two-dimensional time-frequency images by wavelet transform. The time and frequency resolution of the two-dimensional time-frequency images processed by the Complex Morlet wavelet basis function is determined to be the best by trial and error method. Thirdly, the structure of the convolutional neural network model is adjusted. The first pooling layer and the fifth pooling layer are reserved. The second pool layer, the third pooling layer and the fourth pooling layer are replaced by small-scale convolutional layers to prevent the over-fitting phenomenon. Finally, the two-dimensional time-frequency image is input into the improved convolutional neural network model. The experimental results show the following points. ① After training, the average accuracy of the improved model is about 99% on the training set and 99.5% on the test set. ② When the training data reaches 200 steps, the accuracy of the improved model is more than 99%, and the loss function of the improved model approaches 0. These results show that the improved model has good convergence performance, and the generalization of the model is enhanced. The inhibition effect on over-fitting in the learning process is obvious. ③ On the confusion matrix of the validation set, the identification rate of gap defect and dislocation defects is 100%. The identification rate of no defect is 92%, and 8% of the defect are mistakenly identified as gap defects. ④ Compared with EMD-SVD-SVM, wavelet packet-SVM, EMD-SVD-BP neural network and wavelet packet-BP neural network, the accuracy of rigid guide fault diagnosis method based on wavelet transform and the improved convolutional neural network reaches 99%.

Antrodia camphorata is rich in a variety of bioactive ingredients; however, the utilization efficiency of the residue of A. camphorata is low, resulting in serious waste. It is necessary to deeply study the functional components of A. camphorata residues to achieve high-value utilization. In this study, the components, structural characteristics, and functional properties of alkali-extracted dietary fiber extracted from residues of A. camphorata (basswood and dish cultured fruiting body, respectively) were investigated. There were similar components and structural characteristics of ACA-DK (extract from basswood cultured) and ACA-DF (extract from dish cultured). The two alkali-extracted dietary fiber were composed of mainly cellulose and xylan. However, ACA-DK has better adsorption capacities than ACA-DF on lipophilic substances such as oil (12.09 g/g), cholesterol (20.99 mg/g), and bile salts (69.68 mg/g). In vitro immunomodulatory assays stated that ACA-DK had a good effect on promoting the proliferation of RAW 264.7 cells and can activate cell phagocytosis, NO synthesis, and other immune capabilities. The edible fungus A. camphorata is a good source of functional dietary fiber. The alkali-extracted dietary fiber of A. camphorata might be used as a functional ingredient in the medicine and food industry.

Abstract Background Acute ischemic stroke (AIS) is one of the leading causes of mortality and long-term disability worldwide. Our study aims to clarify the role of low-density lipoproteins (LDL) subclasses in the occurrence of AIS and develop a risk xprediction model based on these characteristics to identify high-risk people. Methods Five hundred and sixty-six patients with AIS and 197 non-AIS controls were included in this study. Serum lipids and other baseline characteristics including fasting blood glucose (GLU), serum creatinine (Scr), and blood pressure were investigated in relation to occurrence of AIS. The LDL subfractions were classified and measured with the Lipoprint System by a polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis technique. Results Levels of LDL-3, LDL-4 and LDL-5 subclasses were significantly higher in the AIS group compared to the non-AIS group and lower level of LDL-1 was prevalent in the AIS patients. Consistently, Spearman correlation coefficient demonstrated that sd-demonevels, especially LDL-3 and LDL-4 levels, were significantly positively correlated with AIS. Furthermore, there is a significant positive correlation between small dense LDL (sd-LDL, that is LDL-3 to 7) levels and serum lipids including total cholesterol (TC), Low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), and Triglyceride (TG). Increased LDL-3 and LDL-4 as well as decreased LDL-1 and LDL-2 were correlated to the occurrence of AIS, even in the people with normal LDL-C levels. A new prediction model including 12 variables can accurately predict the AIS risk in Chinese patients (AUC = 0.82 ± 0.04). Conclusions Levels of LDL subclasses should be considered in addition to serum LDL-C in assessment and management of AIS. A new prediction model based on clinical variables including LDL subtractions can help clinicians identify high of AIS, even in the people with norm.

Abstract Background Intima-media thickness (IMT) and small dense low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (sdLDL-C) have been reported to be related to atherosclerosis and stroke. This study is trying to explore the association between IMT and sdLDL-C in Chinese acute ischaemic stroke (AIS) subjects. Methods This study enrolled total 368 consecutive AIS patients and 165 non-AIS controls from November 2016 to February 2019. Mean IMT and carotid plaques were measured by using carotid ultrasonography method. Blood glucose and lipid parameters were measured by using an automatic biochemical instrument. SdLDL-C was detected by using the Lipoprint LDL system. IMT > 1.0 mm was defined as increased IMT. Plaque stability based on the nature of the echo was determined by ultrasound examination. Risk factors for IMT were identified by using multivariate logistic regression analysis. A logistic regression model was established to predict AIS risk. Python software (Version 3.6) was used for the statistical analysis of all data. Results The carotid IMT, proportion of plaques, and the sdLDL-C, triglycerides (TG) and glucose levels were obviously higher in AIS patients than those in controls. SdLDL-C level in the IMT thickening group was higher than that in the normal IMT group. SdLDL-C and total cholesterol (TC) were risk factors for IMT, while sdLDL-C was an independent risk factor. The IMT value of the unstable plaque group was markedly higher than that of the stable plaque group. The predictive value of IMT for AIS was better than that of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (non-HDL-C) but not as good as that of sdLDL-C. A logistic regression model was established to predict AIS risk. Additionally, carotid IMT and sdLDL-C were closely related to AIS severity and outcomes. Conclusions SdLDL-C and TC were risk factors for increased IMT, while sdLDL-C was an independent risk factor. A prediction model based on IMT and other variables was established to screen the population with high AIS risk.

Kidney is one of the most vulnerable organs in sepsis, resulting in sepsis-associated acute kidney injury (SA-AKI), which brings about not only morbidity but also mortality of sepsis. Ferroptosis is a new kind of death type of cells elicited by iron-dependent lipid peroxidation, which participates in pathogenesis of sepsis. The aim of this study was to verify the occurrence of ferroptosis in the SA-AKI pathogenesis and demonstrate that post-treatment with irisin could restrain ferroptosis and alleviate SA-AKI via activating the SIRT1/Nrf2 signaling pathway. We established a SA-AKI model by cecal ligation and puncture (CLP) operation and an in vitro model in LPS-induced HK2 cells, respectively. Our result exhibited that irisin inhibited the level of ferroptosis and ameliorated kidney injury in CLP mice, as evidenced by reducing the ROS production, iron content, and MDA level and increasing the GSH level, as well as the alteration of ferroptosis-related protein (GPX4 and ACSL4) expressions in renal, which was consistent with the ferroptosis inhibitor ferrostatin-1 (Fer-1). Additionally, we consistently observed that irisin inhibited ROS accumulation, iron production, and ameliorated mitochondrial dysfunction in LPS-stimulated HK-2 cells. Furthermore, our result also revealed that irisin could activate SIRT1/Nrf2 signaling pathways both in vivo and vitro. However, the beneficial effects of irisin were weakened by EX527 (an inhibitor of SIRT1) in vivo and by SIRT1 siRNA in vitro. In conclusion, irisin could protect against SA-AKI through ferroptotic resistance via activating the SIRT1/Nrf2 signaling pathway.

Room temperature Na-ion batteries (SIBs) show great potential for use as renewable energy storage systems. However, the large-scale application of SIBs has been hindered by the lack of an ideal SIBs anode material. We synthesized MoS2 on carbonized graphene-chitosan (G-C) using the hydrothermal method. The strong interaction between the MoS2 and the G-C greatly improved the electron transport rate and maintained the structural stability of the electrode, which lead to both an excellent rate capability and long cycle stability. The G-C monolith was proven to enhance the electrical conductivity of the composites and served as a matrix for uniformly dispersing active MoS2 nanosheets (NSs), as well as being a buffer material to adapt to changes in volume during the cycle. Serving as an anode material for SIBs, the MoS2-G-C electrode showed good cycling stability (527.3 mAh g−1 at 100 mA g−1 after 200 cycles), excellent rate capability, and a long cycle life (439.1 mAh g−1 at 1A g−1 after 200 cycles). The bidirectional interaction between pancreatic cancer (PanCa) and diabetes has been confirmed by epidemiological studies, but until now, the underlying molecular mechanisms for this connection is not fully understood yet. Here, we analyzed the clinical and genomic data of 26 pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) patients without diabetes, and six diabetic PDAC patients, whose tumors underwent targeted next-generation sequencing (551 cancer-related genes included). Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) was performed to investigate genetic alterations and biological consequences associated with PDACs with or without diabetes. We identified 345 somatic mutations of 153 genes in test cohort and a positive association between diabetes duration and somatic mutation burden. KRAS, TP53, and SMAD4 were the top3 commonly mutated genes at a similar frequency compared to the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) data. Several novel but infrequent mutations in other genes (MDC1, PRB2, and PRB4) were also found. Besides, 13 mutated genes (PIK3CD, SNCAIP, IRF4, HLA-A, NOTCH4, PIM1, ETV6, B2M, CD70, PRDM14, TGFBR1, FLT1, and PARP2) were uniquely found in the diabetic group, mainly involved in immune-related pathways. Further targeted sequencing of these genes in an independent validation cohort (n = 50) revealed significant enrichment in the diabetic group (n = 18, P = 2.6964E-08). Long-standing diabetes (≥3-year duration) may induce increasing somatic mutations with time, facilitating tumor initiation. Gene mutants associated with immune-related pathways could be used to distinguish the diabetic PDAC patients from the non-diabetic cases and allow more selective treatment.

Abstract Background Gastric cancer (GC) is a leading cause of cancer deaths, and an increased number of GC patients adopt to next-generation sequencing (NGS) to identify tumor genomic alterations for precision medicine. Methods In this study, we established a hybridization capture-based NGS panel including 612 cancer-associated genes, and collected sequencing data of tumors and matched bloods from 153 gastric cancer patients. We performed comprehensive analysis of these sequencing and clinical data. Results 35 significantly mutated genes were identified such as TP53, AKAP9, DRD2, PTEN, CDH1, LRP2 et al. Among them, 29 genes were novel significantly mutated genes compared with TCGA study. TP53 is the top frequently mutated gene, and tends to mutate in male (p = 0.025) patients and patients whose tumor located in cardia (p = 0.011). High tumor mutation burden (TMB) gathered in TP53 wild-type tumors (p = 0.045). Green and low-carbon strategies represent governance orientations for resource-based cities to respond to global changes and achieve sustainable development. Designating the Yellow River Basin (YRB), an important ecological functional area and an ecologically fragile area, as the research area, this study used the super-efficiency SBM model while considering undesirable outputs, including carbon emissions, to analyze green land use efficiency (GLUE) and its temporal and spatial differentiation, then used the Tobit regression model to analyze the influencing factors. The results were as follows: (1) The GLUE of the YRB presented a spatial pattern of “high in the west and low in the east”. (2) Overall, the efficiency values of all areas and types increased annually, but differences occurred in various areas and types of resource-based cities. (3) Overall, the efficiency values of the Yellow River Basin showed a “high-low” polarization. (4) Economic development and population growth factors substantially impacted the GLUE of resource-based cities in this region. It is concluded that increasing the efficiency improvement of low-efficiency regions or cities can improve regional GLUE. To ensure regional green and low-carbon transformation and development, it is essential to enhance urban economic vitality, promote an orderly population flow, and strive to improve social and public services.

In this paper, three-dimensional ultrasonic anemometer and multi-channel anemometer have been used to monitor the flow field of a subway station in Beijing. Based on releasing sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) in the station hall, the gas transmission and diffusion range have been studied. The results show that under the natural ventilation, the gas diffusion would be controlled by a regular mainstream field. Because of obvious subsidence heavy gas tends to accumulate on the ground. The airflow on the north side of the platform is stable, which may be the main channel for gas diffusion and the gas will not be transmitted downward to the platform. As a result, during emergency response During emergency disposal, it is necessary to set an evacuation path opposite to gas diffusion. Besides, it is forbidden to turn on the top smoke exhaust system to avoid the transmission of pollutant on the ground to the breathing height.

In this paper, a method based on convolution neural network and multi-camera fusion is proposed to improve the recognition accuracy of crowd and then the personnel distribution of subway station platform is analyzed. In this method, tensorflow is used as the deep learning training framework and the yolov4 neural network algorithm is used to identify the subway station platform area using three videos synchronously. Through affine transformation and time average statistics, the passenger density of each sub-area is calculated and the distribution of personnel density in the whole area is analyzed. The results show that the number of people recognized by multiple cameras is 58% higher than that by single camera. The new recognition method has high recognition rate for the actual scene with large crowd and more obstacles. Finally some areas with high risk of personnel aggregation have been found, which should be the focus of safety monitoring.

Keggin-type molybdophosphoric acid, molybdophosphoric salt and vanadium incorporated molybdophosphoric salt supported on the modified kaolin (MK) were investigated as redox co-catalysts for the oxidative carbonylation of phenol to diphenyl carbonate (DPC) in the absence of solvent. The 20 wt.% of MnAMPV5 (one kind of vanadium incorporated molybdophosphoric salt) loaded on MK showed the highest catalytic activity with the yield of 24.68% and a TON of 306, while the selectivity amounts to nearly 100% in all the carbonylation reactions. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, BET, XPS and H2-TPR. The reusability study showed that the catalysts were stable and active.

This study investigates the reflectance of the defective mode (DM) and the lateral shift of reflected beam in defective photonic crystals incorporated with single-layer graphene by the transfer matrix method (TMM). Graphene, treated as an equivalent dielectric with a thickness of 0.34 nm, was embedded in the center of a defect layer. The reflectance of the DM was greatly enhanced as the intraband transition of electrons was converted to an interband transition in graphene. The reflectance of the DM could be further enhanced by increasing the Bragg periodic number. Furthermore, a large lateral shift of the reflected beam could also be induced around the DM. This study may find great applications in highly sensitive sensors.
