The equivalent statements of the best value related to several parameters are provided. The equivalent forms, some inequalities in particular parameters, and the operator expressions are obtained.

The study aims to establish the essence and structure of a psychologically safe educational environment. The authors determine the state of psychological safety as a key characteristic of the safe educational environment in higher education institutions and identify problems in its diagnostics. The paper discloses the essence of the concepts of “educational environment”, “safe educational environment”, and “psychological safety of the educational environment”. The research reveals that while the level of psychological safety among students and teachers is generally high, there are significant differences in assessments based on psycho-emotional states and interpersonal relationships. The findings highlight the need for targeted interventions, including psychological and pedagogical training of personnel and implementation of innovative technologies to enhance safety. This study emphasizes the importance of monitoring and creating a sustainable environment to support mental health, personal growth, and professional development in higher education.

Yellow passion fruit (Passiflora edulis f. flavicarpa) is valuable edible specie with economic significance in China. Passion fruit faces yield losses due to viral diseases. This study used tissue culture of nodal shoot segments to propagate virus-free plants. Surface-sterilized nodal shoot segments were used and shoots were initiated on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium supplemented with various concentrations of 6-Benzyladenine (6-BA) (0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 mg L−1). Multiple shoots were initiated (5.2 ± 1.09 shoots/explant) with a 6-BA concentration of 2.0 mg L−1. Sub-culturing of these multiple shoots on MS medium augmented with 2.0 mg L−1 6-BA and 0.2 mg L−1 IAA was successful in vitro with maximum numbers of shoots (6.6 ± 1.17) within four weeks of incubation. These regenerated shoots were assayed for presence of passion fruit woodiness virus (PWV) using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA); only virus-free shoots were used for further propagation. Root formation was very good in each indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) and (IAA) at a concentration of 0.6 mg L−1 with a maximum number of roots (7.2 ±1.30). Rooted plantlets were gradually acclimatized in a greenhouse and successfully established in soil. Thus, virus-free plants can be successfully regenerated directly from nodal shoot segments.

Combining unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with deep learning algorithms offers an efficient, safe and inexpensive alternative to maritime search and rescue (mSAR) missions. Maritime UAV images present unique challenges for object detection due to their complex nature, including dense distribution, multi-scale objects and occlusion. Aiming to address this problem, we propose a novel lightweight model specifically designed for maritime small object detection, named AB2D-YOLO. Firstly, the attention based intra-scale feature interaction (AIFI) module is used to replace the spatial pyramid pooling fast (SPPF) module on the backbone, enhancing the detection precision of occluded and densely small targets by integrating global and contextual feature information. Secondly, the dilation-wise residual (DWR) module is integrated into the network. The module employs three sets of dilated convolution with different sampling rates to obtain multi-scale receptive fields, which effectively improves the capacity for detecting multi-scale objects. Then, we propose an improved network fusion model based on weighted bi-directional feature pyramid network (BiFPN) to reconstruct the neck, which can enhance the features of small targets through weighted fusion of feature information of different scales and bidirectional cross-scale connection. Finally, we add a new detection layer in the neck to capture more object location information in images. When compared to the benchmark model YOLOv8s, AB2D-YOLO achieves an 8.96% increase in mean average precision (mAP) on the SeaDroneSee dataset, while maintaining a low model complexity with only 6.95 MB of parameters. When compared to state-of-the-art models, AB2D-YOLO model is conducive to the deployment of maritime UAV.

Mycoplasma pneumoniae causes respiratory tract infections, affecting both children and adults, with varying degrees of severity ranging from mild to life-threatening. In recent years, a new class of regulatory RNAs called long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) has been discovered to play crucial roles in regulating gene expression in the host. Research on lncRNAs has greatly expanded our understanding of cellular functions involving RNAs, and it has significantly increased the range of functions of lncRNAs. In lung cancer, transcripts associated with lncRNAs have been identified as regulators of airway and lung inflammation in a process involving protein complexes. An excessive immune response and antibacterial immunity are closely linked to the pathogenesis of M. pneumoniae. The relationship between lncRNAs and M. pneumoniae infection largely involves lncRNAs that participate in antibacterial immunity. This comprehensive review aimed to examine the dysregulation of lncRNAs during M. pneumoniae infection, highlighting the latest advancements in our understanding of the biological functions and molecular mechanisms of lncRNAs in the context of M. pneumoniae infection and indicating avenues for investigating lncRNAs-related therapeutic targets.

Abstract： A multi-channel real-time system is designed for monitoring photoplethysmographic (PPG) using RISC-V kernel. The system takes E203 IP of RISC-V architecture as the low-power core, which connects analog front-end module and Bluetooth control module through ICB bus. The analog front-end control module controls back-to-back LEDs to realize two-channel PPG signal acquisition. Multi-channel acquisition can be realized by reusing the analog front-end control module. The Bluetooth control module is connected to E203 to deliver system control commands, and then upload PPG data to the terminal. Finally, The FPGA system verifies the 22-bit dual-channel PPG signal Internet of Things terminal application.

Optical camera communication (OCC) has been widely employed in various applications as a flexible and cost-effective means of communication both on land and underwater. However, the performance of the OCC system through the water-air interface has not been thoroughly investigated. In this article, we explore the performance of the OCC system in a water-air environment and propose a bubble-wave-mitigation algorithm to pre-process the captured frames of received video. Moreover, we propose a transformer-based neural network to demodulate the transmitted signal, mitigating the deterioration in transmission performance caused by inter-symbol interference (ISI). The experimental results demonstrate that a robust transmission can be achieved in the water-air environment by applying our proposed algorithms and neural network demodulator.

Background: This study aims to analyze the changes and significance of organ function indices in patients with severe Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pneumonia for prediction of major organ damages and guiding treatment schemes. Methods: 63 patients with severe COVID-19 pneumonia were selected as the severe group and 73 patients with mild syndromes were selected as the mild group. SAS9.4 software was used for statistical analysis of the data. Results: Levels of ALT, AST, cTnI, Cr, PT, APTT and Ddimer of the severe group were significantly higher while PLT was lower than those of the mild group. The data of all quantitative variables were converted into categorical variables. Significantly higher levels of AST, ALB, D-dimer and higher proportion of bilateral lung involvement were observed from the severe group comparing to those in the mild group, while the difference in the other indices between the two groups was insignificant in statistical perspective. Conclusions: There are significant differences in the levels of multiple organ function indices between the severe group and the mild group of patients with COVID-19 pneumonia infection. Through examining the relevant indices, conditions of patients' multiple organ function damage could be predicted and used as guidance of treatment.

Oncidium, an important tropical orchid, has high ornamental value due to its specific color and occupies a significant market position for the worldwide flower. Transcriptome analysis of flower and leaf color formation provides new sources for producing novel Oncidium hybridum cultivars. We sequenced 12 samples of flowers (yellow and white) and leaves (striped and regular) of O. hybridum and assembled 381,136 and 453,566 unigene sequences from RNA-seq data, respectively. Among unigenes, 662 and 1,324 differentially expressed genes were identified in flower and leaf samples, respectively. Gene ontology and pathway enrichment showed that secondary metabolite biosynthetic pathways were responsible for flower and leaf color formation. It was determined that UGT75C1, E2.4.1.115, CCD7, E2.1.1.76, and CCoAOMT are involved in regulating flower color, and UGT75C1, LHCB, UGT, RP-L18Ae, and ABCB1 play crucial roles in regulating leaf color. Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analysis revealed that UGT75C1 was significantly enriched in the anthocyanin biosynthetic pathway, showing effects on flower and leaf colors. This study was the first detailed analysis of the molecular mechanisms of O. hybridum flower and leaf colors, and the results advanced the understanding of the genetic basis of flower and leaf colors; they also provided additional support for improving commercial value and producing novel cultivars of O. hybridum.

Lateral diffused metal oxide semiconductors (LDMOS) used in power management integrated circuits demonstrate low anti-radiation performance. To address this issue, a high voltage radiation hardened LDMOS structure was studied, and an N-LDMOS device with a breakdown voltage of 60 V was designed.We analyzed the radiation hardening mechanism of the heavily doped P+well and buffer layer structures using the Ta ion model (Linear energy transfer, LET=79.2 MeV·cm2/mg) with a TCAD simulation tool and verified it via an irradiation test. The results revealed that by using the heavily doped P+well and buffer layer structures, the single event burnout voltage of the high-voltage LDMOS could be improved to 60 V.

Aiming at the difficulty of detecting the surface defects of complex texture tiles, a salient target detection method based on the human visual attention mechanism is proposed and used for the detection of tile surface defects. Firstly, the image of ceramic tile surface is pretreated using the single-scale SSR light correction method and bilateral filtering method; Secondly, according to the principle of contrast and high-frequency suppression in the visual attention mechanism, aiming at the "imaging" and "aggregation" characteristics of complex background textures, a detection model based on the visual attention mechanism is established to determine and mark defects.According to the contrast principle and high-frequency suppression principle in visual attention mechanism, feature extraction of ceramic tile surface is carried out. Then, the image color patch weight salient map and image feature fused salient map are obtained, and the two maps are fused according to the image saliency criteria.Finally, the marked ceramic tile defects are determined and marked.Finally the marked ceramic tile defects are obtained. This defect detection algorithm and the other two algorithms are applied to three kinds of randomly selected complex texture ceramic tiles. The experimental results show that compared with other algorithms, our algorithm can achieve a comprehensive detection rate of more than 96% for complex texture ceramic tiles, and can obtain a good effect of ceramic tile defect detection as well.

Abstract Calamansi or Philippine lime (Citrofortunella macrocarpa) is an important crop for local economic in Hainan Island. There is no study about Calamansi germplasm evaluation and cultivar development. In this study, Calamansi data were collected from 151 of Calamansi seedling trees, and 37 phenotypic traits were analyzed to investigate their genetic diversities. The cluster analysis and principal component analysis were conducted aiming to provide a theoretical basis for the Calamansi genetic improvement. The results of the diversity analysis revealed: (1) the diversity indexes for qualitative traits were ranged from 0.46–1.39, and the traits with the highest genetic diversity level were fruit shaped and pulp colored (H′ > 1.20); and the diversity indexes for quantitative traits ranged from 0.67–2.10, with the exception of a lower in fruit juice rate (1.08) and lower in number of petals (0.67). (2) The clustering analysis of phenotypic traits have arranged the samples into 4 categories: the first group characterized by fewer flesh Segment number per fruit (SNF) and more Oil cell number (OCN); the second group had 7 samples, all characterized with larger Crown breadth (CB), higher Yield per tree (YPT), the lager leaf, the higher Ascorbic acid (AA), and less Seed number per fruit (SNPF); the third group had 25 samples characterized by smaller Tree foot diameter (TFD),smaller Fruit shape index (FSI) and higher Total soluble solids (TSS) contain; the fourth group had 87 samples, they were characterized by shorter Petiole length (PEL), larger fruit, higher Juice ratio (JR), multiple Stamen number (SN) and longer Pistil length (PIL). (3) The principal component analysis showed the values of the first 9 major components characteristic vectors were all greater than 3, the cumulative contribution rate reach 72.20%, including the traits of single fruit weight, fruit diameter, tree height, tree canopy width etc. Finally, based on the comprehensive main component value of all samples, the Calamansi individuals with higher testing scores were selected for further observation. This study concludes that Calamansi seedling populations in the Hainan Island holds great genetic diversity in varies traits, and can be useful for the Calamansi variety improvements.

The weight-loading swimming assay, liver glycogen and serum urea nitrogen tests in mice were used to evaluate the alleviating physical fatigue effects of Lijiang and Peru Maca. The mouse mating assay, sperm quantity, survival rate and gonadal organ index tests were used to observe the improving sexual function between them. The acute toxicity test was used to evaluate the safety of two samples. The result showed that compared with the blank control group, Lijiang and Peru Maca can significantly increase the swimming time and the level of liver glycogen, as well as reduce the level of urea nitrogen in mice. Compared with the blank control group, Lijiang and Peru Maca can obviously improve the mating ability, sperm quantity and testis index in mice, but it has no obvious effect on sperm viability, seminal vesicles and Foreskin gland index. Compared with the Peru Maca group, there was no significant difference in the activity of anti-fatigue and improving sexual function. The acute toxicity test showed that the maximum dose of Lijiang and Peru Maca was 17.48g/kg. There was no toxicity or death after administration.

The characteristics of acoustic emission signals generated in the process of rock deformation and fission contain rich information on internal rock damage. The use of acoustic emissions monitoring technology can analyze and identify the precursor information of rock failure. At present, in the field of acoustic emissions monitoring and the early warning of rock fracture disasters, there is no real-time identification method for a disaster precursor characteristic signal. It is easy to lose information by analyzing the characteristic parameters of traditional acoustic emissions to find signals that serve as precursors to disasters, and analysis has mostly been based on post-analysis, which leads to poor real-time recognition of disaster precursor characteristics and low application levels in the engineering field. Based on this, this paper regards the acoustic emissions signal of rock fracture as a kind of speech signal generated by rock fracture uses this idea of speech recognition for reference alongside spectral analysis (STFT) and Mel frequency analysis to realize the feature extraction of acoustic emissions from rock fracture. In deep learning, based on the VGG16 convolutional neural network and AlexNet convolutional neural network, six intelligent real-time recognition models of rock fracture and key acoustic emission signals were constructed, and the network structure and loss function of traditional VGG16 were optimized. The experimental results show that these six deep-learning models can achieve the real-time intelligent recognition of key signals, and Mel, combined with the improved VGG16, achieved the best performance with 87.68% accuracy and 81.05% recall. Then, by comparing multiple groups of signal recognition models, Mel+VGG-FL proposed in this paper was verified as having a high recognition accuracy and certain recognition efficiency, performing the intelligent real-time recognition of key acoustic emission signals in the process of rock fracture more accurately, which can provide new ideas and methods for related research and the real-time intelligent recognition of rock fracture precursor characteristics.

PurposeThe Quick Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (qSOFA) score proposed by Sepsis-3 as a sepsis screening tool has shown suboptimal accuracy. Heparin-binding protein (HBP) has been shown to identify early sepsis with high accuracy. Herein, we aim to investigate whether or not HBP improves the model performance of qSOFA.MethodsWe conducted a multicenter prospective observational study of 794 adult patients who presented to the emergency department (ED) with presumed sepsis between 2018 and 2019. For each participant, serum HBP levels were measured and the hospital course was followed. The qSOFA score was used as the comparator. The data was split into a training dataset (n = 556) and a validation dataset (n = 238). The primary endpoint was 30-day all-cause mortality.ResultsCompared with survivors, non-survivors had significantly higher serum HBP levels (median: 71.5 ng/mL vs 209.5 ng/mL, p < 0.001). Serum level of HBP weakly correlated with qSOFA class (r2 = 0.240, p < 0.001). Compared with the qSOFA model alone, the addition of admission HBP level to the qSOFA model significantly improved 30-day mortality discrimination (AUC, 0.70 vs. 0.80; P < 0.001), net reclassification improvement [26% (CI, 17–35%); P < 0.001], and integrated discrimination improvement [12% (CI, 9–14%); P < 0.001]. Addition of C-reactive protein (CRP) level or neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) to qSOFA did not improve its performance. A web-based mortality risk prediction calculator was created to facilitate clinical implementation.ConclusionThis study confirms the value of combining qSOFA and HBP in predicting sepsis mortality. The web calculator provides a user-friendly tool for clinical implementation. Further validation in different patient populations is needed before widespread application of this prediction model.

Hand hygiene is now regarded as one of the most important element of infection control activities in hospital. This paper reviewed the importance, current status and hospital management strategies on hand hygiene of nursing students, in order to provide a reference of hand hygiene management in healthcare settings. Using γ ray to irradiat six types of lithium grease, the color of these greases was observed to change, and the degree of change was found to be positively correlated with an increase in the absorbed dose. After irradiation with an absorbed dose of 8.1×103 kGy, the thickener of the lithium complex grease softened, degraded, and entered the hardening and crosslinking stage ahead of its ordinary degradation process. Furthermore, its average shear stress increased by 169%. Additional oxidation products were generated from the base oil of the lithium complex grease compared with the simple lithium-based grease treated with the same absorbed dose. When simple lithium grease absorbed a dose of 8.1×103 kGy, its thickener also softened and the consistency decreased; however, its average shear stress decreased. The degree of deterioration of the simple lithium grease was seemingly lighter than that of the lithium complex grease. Therefore, simple lithium grease may be more suitable for irradiation facilities.

Oxalis corniculata L. is a perennial herb with a world-wide distribution. In this study, we sequenced the complete chloroplast genome of O. corniculata, which exhibited a circular genome of 155,182 bp in length with 37.5% GC content. The chloroplast genome contained a canonical quadripartite structure with a large single copy (LSC) region of 83,936 bp, a small single copy (SSC) region of 17,048 bp and a pair of 25,581 bp inverted repeats (IRs). A total of 108 unique genes, including 76 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 28 tRNA genes and four rRNA genes were found in this chloroplast genome. The phylogenetic tree was constructed based on O. corniculata and other 11 chloroplast genome sequences, which showed that O. corniculata was closely grouped with of O. corymbosa and O. drummondii.

The solid-state desilication kinetics of silicon manganese powder and Brazil manganese powder was investigated by microwave heating and conventional heating. During the two processes, Brazil manganese powder which reacted with silicon in silicon manganese was used as the desilication agent. The mixture was heated up to different temperatures and preserved heat for some time by microwave heating and conventional heating, respectively. The silicon content of desilication materials was measured and the apparent activation energy of desilication reaction was calculated. The results show that the single raw material and the mixture could be heated up in the microwave field in a short time. The desilication rate increases with the increase of heating temperature and holding time by both heating methods. The desilication rate and the reaction rate under the microwave field are significantly higher than those by conventional heating. Microwave heating can increase the rate of solid phase desilication. The restrictive step of solid-state desilication kinetics of silicon manganese powder and Brazil manganese powders by microwave heating is the diffusion step. The apparent activation energy of desilication reaction under the microwave field is 102.93 kJ·mol-1, but the apparent activation energy of desilication reaction by conventional heating is 180 kJ·mol-1. The microwave heating field can improve the kinetics condition of solid phase desilication, increase the reaction rate of solid phase desilication and reduce the activation energy of desilication reaction.

N6-methyladenine (6mA) DNA modification has been detected in several eukaryotic organisms, where it plays important roles in gene regulation and epigenetic memory maintenance. However, the genome-wide distribution patterns and potential functions of 6mA DNA modification in woodland strawberry (Fragaria vesca) remain largely unknown. Here, we examined the 6mA landscape in the F. vesca genome by adopting single-molecule real-time sequencing technology and found that 6mA modification sites were broadly distributed across the woodland strawberry genome. The pattern of 6mA distribution in the long non-coding RNA was significantly different from that in protein-coding genes. The 6mA modification influenced the gene transcription and was positively associated with gene expression, which was validated by computational and experimental analyses. Our study provides new insights into the DNA methylation in F. vesca.

The accurate landscape of transcript isoforms plays an important role in the understanding of gene function and gene regulation. However, building complete transcripts is very challenging for short reads generated using next-generation sequencing. Fortunately, isoform sequencing (Iso-Seq) using single-molecule sequencing technologies, such as PacBio SMRT, provides long reads spanning entire transcript isoforms which do not require assembly. Therefore, we have developed ISOdb, a comprehensive resource database for hosting and carrying out an in-depth analysis of Iso-Seq datasets and visualising the full-length transcript isoforms. The current version of ISOdb has collected 93 publicly available Iso-Seq samples from eight species and presents the samples in two levels: (1) sample level, including metainformation, long read distribution, isoform numbers, and alternative splicing (AS) events of each sample; (2) gene level, including the total isoforms, novel isoform number, novel AS number, and isoform visualisation of each gene. In addition, ISOdb provides a user interface in the website for uploading sample information to facilitate the collection and analysis of researchers’ datasets. Currently, ISOdb is the first repository that offers comprehensive resources and convenient public access for hosting, analysing, and visualising Iso-Seq data, which is freely available.
