The increasing number of successful latecomer enterprises has led to a growing research interest in the area, but there is a lack of consensus in academic circles on the relationship between imitation strategy and firm growth. While some enterprises achieved sustainable growth based on an imitation strategy, others withdrew from the market soon after their initial market entry. In this context, this meta-analysis synthesizes empirical findings including 23 independent samples (N = 66,110) to obtain evidence and explore the extent to which an imitation strategy affects firm growth. Moreover, by further examining the moderating effects of industry conditions, country-specific factors, and performance time horizons, this research also aims to address a complementary research question: in which context is imitation strategy more beneficial for the firm growth? We found that an imitation strategy is more effective in promoting firm growth in low-tech industries than in high-tech industries and in non-OECD countries than in OECD countries. It fosters the short-term performance rather than the long-term performance of a firm. Our research findings are meaningful for enterprises to choose an appropriate imitation strategy according to their unique attributes, enabling sustainable growth in a dynamic environment.

The construction and development of “two-oriented society” in Wuhan city circle should be combined with the development of colleges and universities in the region. It’s necessary to update the concept and evaluate the development status and problems existing in the interaction between urban communities and universities. It’s recommended that the win-win situation, interactive and common development concept and strategies should be established to ensure the healthy and sustainable development of both sides. On the basis of investigation, the following suggestions are derived: 1) direct and coordinate the development of both sides based on the principle of interaction and win-win situation 2) strengthen the cultural interaction and focus on building the harmonious culture of city circle;3) establish the “two-oriented society” subjects and cultivate the innovative talents;4) reform and explore the forms and approaches of social service for universities;5)establish the appropriate management mechanisms, including interaction base, resource-sharing mechanism, and so on.

To improve the success ratio of entrepreneurships, firstly, this paper, from the perspectives of rational distribution and efficient use of resources, explores the relationship between the ability to integrate various resources and the entrepreneurial results as well as constructs an entrepreneurial model on the basis of the theory of integrated resources; and then the paper, based on the investigation into cases of the undergraduates' entrepreneurship in Wuhan, explains and analyzes the function of this model theoretically by taking different key factors that may influence the entrepreneurial results into consideration.

This paper defines the meaning of enterprise social networks, and points out its importance. It also analyzes the elements and constructs a process model of enterprise social networks. Meanwhile, it proposes a macro-process which evolved comprehensive characterization of micro-content. Based on some constraints analysis of social network evolution, it discusses the evolutionary tactics.

This paper reveals the internal relation between start-up enterprises' social network evolution map formation and its path selection, puts forward such four hypotheses about path selection as risk preference difference hypothesis, step length average hypothesis, relative expected return hypothesis and path random switching hypothesis in the formation process of social network evolution map of start-up enterprises, constructs the path selection model, obtains the effects mechanism of path selection of different risk preference degree on the risk return of start-ups in social network evolution map formation.

Under monopolistic competition condition, if countries do not employ tariff cooperation but tariff competition, they will choose their tariff level separately to maximize their society welfare. While each company will choose its sale in home and foreign market to maximize its profit. The number of companies in both countries affects the tariff decision of both governments. The optimized tariff of one country will rise with the increase of home companies' number at the beginning and then decline with its number increase. Country with more home companies tend to set lower tariff than country with less home companies. The enhancement of tariff can protect home companies and market by increasing the sale of home companies and reducing import. Country with more home companies will gain a larger market share than other countries. At the same time, sufficient competition can expand the market capacity, although the sale of each company could drop, and reduce the price of products, which bring more welfare to consumers. In perfect competition market structure, tariff will nearly drop to zero, if government wants to optimize their society welfare as a whole. To obtain more benefit from international market, government should advocate competition of its home companies.
