The development of healthy building technology has become a major trend in the global construction industry, especially in China, owing to accelerating urbanization and increasing health awareness among residents. However, an effective evaluation framework to quantify and evaluate the maturity of healthy building technology is lacking. This paper proposes a novel maturity evaluation model for healthy building technology. After analyzing the Driver–Pressure–State–Impact–Response (DPSIR) framework for asserting the maturity of healthy building in China, it constructs an evaluation indicator system, comprising five and twenty-seven first- and second-class indicators, respectively. Subsequently, this paper constructs an improved projection pursuit model based on border collie optimization. The model obtains evaluation results by mining evaluation data, thus overcoming the limitations of traditional evaluation models in dealing with complex data. The empirical research results demonstrate that China is in the optimization stage in terms of the level of maturity of healthy building technology. The weight of impact is as high as 0.2743, which is the most important first-level indicator. Strict green energy utilization policy requirements are the most important secondary indicator, with a weight of 0.0513. Notably, the model is more advanced than other algorithms. In addition, this paper offers some countermeasures and suggestions to promote healthy building in China. Developing and applying this model can promote and popularize healthy building technology in China and even the globe and contribute to a healthier and more sustainable living environment. Shallow marine shelf sedimentation is a hot and difficult topic in today's reservoir sedimentology research, and it is widely present in the world. The shallow marine shelf sedimentation is not only affected by complex hydrodynamic effects such as tides and waves, but also controlled by bottom tectonic features, forming a complex and varied sedimentation pattern. During the Middle Jurassic period, the northern part of West Siberian Basin was characterized by a shallow marine shelf sedimentary environment. In the central reion of this basin, a typical tectonic uplift zone developed, forming a tectonic background of "one uplift zone between two depressions". Simultaneously, the dominant influence of tides in the shallow marine shelf environment facilitated the formation of a typical shelf-type tidal delta sedimentation system in the Jurassic strata of the northern part of West Siberian Basin. This sedimentation constitutes a significant natural gas reservoir, and it is important to investigate the sedimentary evolution of shelf-type tidal deltas and to clarify the internal structure and distribution of sedimentary sand bodies and interlayers in shelf-type tidal deltas, which is the basis for the fine development of this type of reservoir. This paper takes the Jurassic strata in the Y region of northern part of West Siberian Basin as the research object, and conducts numerical simulation based on sedimentary dynamics for the shelf-type tidal delta sedimentation formed under the tectonic background of "one uplift zone between two depressions". In addition, tidal amplitude and initial water level were selected for different hydrodynamic factors to study the main controlling factors of shelf-type tidal delta sedimentation. The simulation results show that tidal amplitude is positively correlated with three-dimensional configuration characteristic parameters of the sedimentary sand bodies, and the development of tidal bars becomes more and more limited as the initial water level increases. This paper systematically investigates the sedimentary evolution of shelf-type tidal delta under the tectonic background of "one uplift zone between two depressions" by the sedimentary dynamics method, which deepens the understanding of the shelf-type tidal delta sedimentation process and provides a new thinking for the development of this sedimentary reservoir type (School of Geosciences China University of Petroleum (East China)). Background: It is challenging to make informed decision in genetic counseling. Shared decision-making provides a chance in balancing the information and preferences between counselors and counselees. However, the status and prescriptions of shared decision-making have not been extensively studied in genetic counseling. Aim: To develop an up-to-date literature review of the shared decision-making in genetic counseling, identify knowledge gaps, and provide inspiration and suggestions for the development and practice of genetic counseling. Methods: "Genetic Counseling" and "Shared decision-making" were used to search in PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Wanfang, CNKI and CBM databases. The search deadline was March 26, 2021. Results: A total of 22 articles were included, and four themes were identified: how people involved in genetic counseling, different stakeholders involved in SDM, multiple facilitators and barriers to SDM and the effectiveness of SDM in genetic counseling. Conclusion: Each participant needs to recognize their boundaries and make the best effort to involve in the shared decision-making. In the future, multinational studies should be considered for bringing shared decision-making to the global scale and well-designed studies are required to explore the long-term impact of shared decision-making in genetic counseling. To improve projection efficiency of future energy demand, this paper proposes a hybrid optimization method, which is Bat Algorithm, Gaussian Perturbations and Simulated Annealing Energy Demand Estimation (BAG-SA EDE) model. The proposed BAG-SA algorithm not only inherits the simplicity and efficiency of the standard BA with a capability of searching for global optimality, but also enhances local search ability and speeds up the global convergence rate. The causality of energy demand and the selected factors is further investigated via the Stationarity, Cointegration and Granger causality tests. Then, BAG-SA algorithm is employed to optimize the coefficients of multiple linear and quadratic equations of energy demand estimation models. Results indicate that the proposed algorithm has higher precision and reliability than other single optimization methods, such as Genetic Algorithm, Particle Swarm Optimization or Bat Algorithm, and the quadratic form of BAG-SA EDE model has better fitting ability compared with the multiple linear form of the model. Therefore, the quadratic form of the model is applied to estimate energy demand of China from 2016 to 2030 in dissimilar scenarios. The forecasting findings show that energy demand in 2030 will be 4.6, 6.1 and 7.9 billion tce in three scenarios. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Purpose: This qualitative study aimed to gather insights into the experiences of older adults after losing their only child and explore meaningful life needs as a basis for social interventions., Methods: We conducted individual face-to-face interviews with 29 participants from 10 communities in Changsha, Hunan Province, China. Interviews were transcribed verbatim and then analysed using the inductive category development of conventional content analysis., Results: The experience of losing an only child was devastating and linked with a helpless life in old age. The analysis generated the following three themes encompassing their lived experiences and needs: afraid of getting sick, lying on the edge of misery and surrounded by loneliness., Conclusions: Losing an only child triggered older adults' feelings of being misunderstood, disconnected and hopeless. They had an increased likelihood of lacking more on love and belonging, esteem and self-actualization needs than their physiologic and safety needs. Findings from our study will raise awareness on this vulnerable group and help design intervention programmes targeting the specific needs of this neglected segment of the population.
