Bu çalışmada, aşındırıcı su jeti (ASJ) sisteminde farklı işleme parametreleri ile kesilen orta yoğunluklu lif levha (MDF) örneklerin kenar pürüzlülük özelliklerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. 18, 36 ve 54 mm kalınlıklarında hazırlanmış olan lif levhalar, ASJ sistemi ile 50, 100 ve 200 mm/dk ilerleme hızı; 200, 300 ve 450 gr/dk aşındırıcı kütle akış oranı; 300 ve 380 MPa kesici sıvı basıncı uygulanarak kesilmiştir. Örneklerde kesim yüzeyi özellikleri Ra, Rq ve Rz pürüzlülük değerleri analiz edilerek belirlenmiştir. Çalışma sonuçlarına göre, lif levha kalınlığı ve ASJ ilerleme hızı artışına bağlı olarak pürüzlülük özellikleri de artmıştır. Diğer taraftan, aşındırıcı miktarı ve kesici sıvı basıncındaki artış ile pürüzlülük değerleri genel olarak azalma eğilimi göstermiştir. Ancak, örneklerin pürüzlülük özelliklerinde levha kalınlığı ve ASJ ilerleme hızı parametreleri birinci derecede öneme sahipken, aşındırıcı akış oranı ve kesici sıvı basıncı parametrelerinin daha az bir öneme sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) and pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) wood specimens were heat-treated separately at three different temperatures (170 °C, 190 °C, and 210 °C) with steam treatment method (STM), oil treatment method (OTM), and hot-air treatment method (HTM). Then, the specimen surfaces were coated with water-based, polyurethane-based, and oil-based varnishes according to industrial applications. The study results show that both hardness and adhesion strength values of STM and HTM treated specimens were similar for both wood species. In contrast, these values were generally lower in OTM-treated specimens. For all applied methods, heat treatment temperature had no significant effect on hardness values. Varnish adhesion strength decreased in all heat-treated wood specimens compared to untreated specimens. Adhesion strength also decreased in STM- and HTM-treated specimens with increasing heat treatment temperature. Hardness values increased in all specimens coated with polyurethane- and water-based varnish compared to the specimens without varnish. However, hardness decreased in the specimens coated with oil-based varnish. In contrast, the highest adhesion resistance was determined in the specimens coated with oil-based varnish under all heat treatment conditions. In addition, the heat treatment method is more effective relative to the hardness values and the treatment temperature is more effective relative to the adhesion strength of varnished pine and beech specimens.

Objective: Umbilical cord clamping time is a situation that should be planned before delivery. It is recommended that the umbilical cord be clamped for at least 30–60 seconds after birth in healthy preterm and term newborns. There are few studies investigating the effect of umbilical cord clamping time on cord blood gas. If the umbilical cord is clamped before 30 seconds after birth, it is considered early clamping, and if it is clamped after 30 seconds, it is considered late clamping. In this study, we aimed to compare the early or late clamping time of the umbilical cord with the acid-base parameters and lactate values of babies. Methods: A total of 217 term newborn infants who were delivered by cesarean section between December 2020 and December 2021 in our hospital, whose umbilical cord clamping times were recorded and who had cord blood samples, were included in our study retrospectively. pH, pCO2, pO2, HCO3, BE, lactate, Hb and bilirubin values in cord blood gas samples were compared between the two groups. Results: Two hundred seventeen term newborn babies were included in the study. Cord clamping time of infants was delayed in 125 (57.6%) and early in 92 (42.4%) infants. The mean pH in cord blood gas was 7.37±0.07 (7.16–7.57), pCO2 was 39.73 ±8.97 (20.3–65.4) mmHg, pO2 was 53.42±41.95 (14.8–198) mmHg, BE was -2.18±2.90 (-11.9–13.6) mmol/L, lactate was 2.12±0.88 (0.50–5.90) mmol/L, Hb was 14.57± 2.54 (10–23.7) g/dl, and bilirubin was 1.71±1.33 (0–3.7) mg/dl. Conclusion: There was no significant relationship between early and late clamping of the umbilical cord and acid-base parameters, and hemoglobin values in cord blood gas in term newborn babies delivered by cesarean section.

The effect of thermal pretreatments on the dimensional change and humidity sensitivity of densified spruce (Picea orientalis) and poplar (Populus nigra) wood were investigated. A thermal pretreatment was applied on the wood specimens at 140 °C, 160 °C, 180 °C, and 200 °C for 7 h and 9 h. Wood specimens were then compressed at ratios of 20 % and 40 % at a temperature of 150 °C. The results showed that spring-back and thickness swelling increased in all specimens (thermally pre-treated and untreated) depending on the increase in compression ratio. However, set-recovery was determined higher at 20 % compression ratio. The equilibrium moisture content values ​​of untreated specimens and thermally pre-treated specimens at low temperatures (140 ºC and 160 ºC) were found lower than uncompressed specimens. The impact of compression ratio on equilibrium moisture content was not clear. Thermal pretreatments significantly affected the dimensional stability and hygroscopicity of densified specimens (especially poplar wood). Depending on the increase in thermal pretreatment temperature and duration, spring-back, set-recovery and thickness swelling in wood specimens decreased up to 31 %, 67 % and 62 %, respectively. In addition, equilibrium moisture content and water absorption decreased with the increase in thermal pretreatment temperature and duration. Moreover, the thermal treatment temperature was more important than duration on the investigated properties.

This study scrutinises the influence of foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows, energy consumption on Information and Communication services (ICTs) in selected economies of South Asia. This research is based on heterogenous and second generation framework of panel data-set from 1999 to 2021. This study used augmented mean group (AMG), mean group (MG), and common correlated effects mean group (CCEMG) assessors, which further promotes the substantial and favourable influence of FDI services, and energy consumption on ICTs. However, the impact of terrorism is insignificant on ICTs in the region of South Asia. The results indicate that economies of these region must embrace investment reform measures in order to draw FDI into the services sector, increase exports of services, and progress towards economic stability.

Purpose - The main aim is to find out the effects of interest and deprivation type of epistemic curiosity (EC) on innovative work behaviour (IWB) in this study. In addition, the IWB and EC levels of the employees of five-star hotels are compared considering their personal characteristics. Design - Hypotheses were tested within correlational research and causal-comparative research design. Methodology - This research utilized quantitative research methods. Originality of the Research- The current study focuses on a relatively unexplored area, EC in hospitality enterprises and its relationships with IWB. Findings - Data were collected from 247 hotel employees working in five-star hotels in Antalya, Turkey. The results showed that the IWB and EC levels of hotel employees were high. Moreover, the interest and deprivation type of curiosity affected their IWB. In addition, differences in EC level were found in relation to their personal characteristics. However, no difference was found in IWB levels.

Abstract Spiro[benzo[h]quinoline-7,3′-indoline]diones and spiro[indoline-3,4′-pyrazolo[3,4-b]quinoline]diones were efficiently synthesized via one-pot multi-component reactions under ultrasound-promoted conditions. Spiro[benzo[h]quinoline-7,3′-indoline]dione derivatives were successfully developed by the reaction of isatins, naphthalene-1-amine and 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds. The spiro[indoline-3,4′-pyrazolo[3,4-b]quinoline]dione derivatives were prepared by the reaction of isatins, 5-amino-1-methyl-3-pheylpyrazole, and 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds by using ( ±)-camphor-10-sulfonic acid as a catalyst in H2O/EtOH (3:1 v/v) solvent mixture. The antibacterial activity of the synthesized compounds was evaluated against, Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans. Compounds 4b, 4h, and 6h showed the strongest antimicrobial activity toward both bacteria. The MIC values of these compounds ranged from 375–3000 µg/mL. The effect of these compounds (4b, 4h, 6h) as a function of applied dose and time was investigated by a kinetic study, and the interaction with these antimicrobial results was simulated by a molecular docking study. We also used the docking approach with Covid-19 since secondary bacterial infections. Docking showed that indoline-quinoline hybrid compounds 4b and 4h exerted the strongest docking binding value against the active sites of 6LU7. In addition, the synthesized compounds had a moderate to good free radical scavenging activity.

The effects of pre-impregnation on surface roughness, wettability, and morphological structure of densified aspen and fir wood were investigated. Wood specimens were impregnated with paraffin, linseed oil, and styrene after pre-vacuum treatment. The impregnated specimens were densified using compression ratios of 20% and 40% at 120 °C, 150 °C, and 180 °C. The roughness decreased and the contact angle increased in all impregnated specimens (undensified and densified). Compared to paraffin and linseed oil-impregnated specimens, lower roughness and higher contact angle were found in styrene-impregnated specimens. After densification, the roughness and wettability of the wood specimens decreased. More successful results (lower roughness and higher contact angle) were generally obtained in specimens densified with high compression ratio (40%). In both untreated and impregnated specimens, the contact angle increased with increasing compression temperature. While the effect of compression temperature on the roughness of the fir specimens was not significant, the roughness of the aspen specimens (especially styrene-impregnated) decreased with the increase in temperature. Scanning electron microscopy observations indicated that impregnation agents (especially styrene) clung to wood cell walls and partially or completely filled the lumens. This was positively correlated with the determined roughness and wettability. Pre-impregnation facilitated wood densification without significant cell deformations.

Intravesical ectopic pregnancy is a very rare condition. Unlike traditional ectopic pregnancies, patients generally present with hematuria. Our case presented with abdominal pain and urinary bleeding. Abdominal tenderness was observed on physical examination. The ß-HCG was measured as 10033 IU / ml. In ultrasonography, an appearance compatible with a vesicouterine fistula tract and an ectopic gestational sac in the bladder were observed. In cystoscopy, a mass compatible with a fistula tract ostium and ectopic gestational sac was observed at the junction of the right side of the bladder and the posterior wall. The observed structure was resected and cauterized to achieve hemostasis. No complications were observed during the follow-up, and the patient was discharged. Ectopic pregnancy should be one of the differential diagnoses of patients with a history of pelvic surgery who present with complaints of menstrual delay and hematuria. Objectives: Lung cancer (LC) is one of the most prevalent cancers with the highest fatality rate worldwide. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are being considered potential new molecular targets for early diagnosis, follow-up, and individual treatment decisions in LC. Therefore, this study evaluated whether lncRNA expression levels obtained from exhaled breath condensate (EBC) samples play a role in the occurrence of metastasis in the diagnosis and follow-up of patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma (LA).Methods: A total of 40 patients with advanced primary LA and 20 healthy controls participated in the study. EBC samples were collected from patients (during diagnosis and follow-up) and healthy individuals for molecular analysis. Liquid biopsy samples were also randomly obtained from 10 patients with LA and 10 healthy people. The expression of lncRNA genes, such as MALAT1, HOTAIR, PVT1, NEAT1, ANRIL, and SPRY4-IT1 was analyzed using cfRNA extracted from all clinical samples.Results: In the diagnosis and follow-up of patients with LA, lncRNA HOTAIR (5-fold), PVT1 (7.9-fold), and NEAT1 (12.8-fold), PVT1 (6.8-fold), MALAT1 (8.4-fold) expression levels were significantly higher than those in healthy controls, respectively. Additionally, the distinct lncRNA expression profiles identified in EBC samples imply that decreased ANRIL–NEAT1 and increased ANRIL gene expression levels can be used as biomarkers to predict the development of bone and lung metastases, respectively.Conclusion: EBC is an innovative, easily reproducible approach for predicting the development of metastases, molecular diagnosis, and follow-up of LC. EBC has shown potential in elucidating the molecular structure of LC, monitoring changes, and discovering novel biomarkers.

Juglone (5-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone), a natural antifungal and antibacterial agent derived from walnut trees, possesses significant therapeutic potential limited by its low water solubility and instability in varying pH and temperature conditions This study aims to address these limitations by enhancing juglone’s solubility, stability, and antimicrobial efficacy through the formation of inclusion complexes with β -cyclodextrin ( β -CD). Employing methods such as co-precipitation, freeze-drying, and solvent evaporation, we synthesized these complexes and confirmed their formation using UV–vis, and FT-IR spectroscopy. The obtained optimum complex was characterized using SEM to reveal its structural properties, while NMR analysis showed significant chemical shift changes, indicative of complex formation between juglone and β -CD; additionally, XRD analysis confirmed the amorphous nature of the J- β -CD3-4 inclusion complex, providing direct evidence for its formation. Our findings reveal a notable enhancement in the pH and thermal stability of juglone within the β -CD inclusion complex, in comparison to its free form. Moreover, the antimicrobial activity of the juglone- β -CD complex surpassed that of juglone alone. The increased water solubility of juglone in the inclusion complex contributed to its enhanced antimicrobial activity. The inhibition zone diameters of J- β -CD3-4 inclusion complex against E. coli, S. aureus, and C. albicans were 7, 22, and 8.5 mm, respectively, relatively higher than juglone. Remarkably, in the broth microdluation method, the MIC and MBC values of the inclusion complex were determined to be much lower than those of free juglone, a significant fourfold decrease for S. aureus, and C. albicans and twofold for E. coli . These results underscore the potential of juglone- β -CD complexation in extending the applicability of juglone, especially in sectors such as food preservation, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals, where enhanced stability and efficacy of natural antimicrobial agents are crucial.

This study investigates the impact of oil price variations, exchange rates, macroeconomic factors and domestic stock volatility in South Asian countries. This study employs a general autoregressive heteroskedastic (GARCH) model using quarterly data from 2001 to 2021. The results reveal that there is a significant relationship between the domestic stock of credit and macroeconomic factors. We find surprising results for the set of the countries; there is a negative impact of asset portfolio investment in the domestic stock for Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan and a positive effect for the remaining countries. There is a positive impact on the economic growth in the majority of countries with the exception of Afghanistan and Bangladesh. Inflation seems to increase while there is an increase in the credit in the economy except for Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal. Exchange rate has a negative impact on the domestic stock except for India and Nepal. Further, there is a positive effect on the interest rate spread in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. Finally, oil prices have a significant impact on exchange rates within the countries’ investments.

Background and Objectives. Skeletal muscle atrophy, a condition characterized by decreased muscle mass and contractility, is commonly observed in various pathological states, including prolonged inactivity, malnutrition, sarcopenia, and type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM). We aimed to investigate the potential therapeutic effects of pterostilbene (PTS), resveratrol (RSV), pulsed magnetic field (PMF), and their combinations on the streptozotocin- (STZ-) induced atrophy of slow- and fast-twitch skeletal muscles in rats. Material and Methods. Biomechanical analyses were utilized to examine the contractions of soleus and extensor digitorum longus (EDL) muscles, while muscle morphology was evaluated using hematoxylin-eosin staining. Immunohistochemical methods were employed to assess atrophy-related markers, including FBXO32, TRIM63, and FoxO3a. The levels of key proteins, such as pAkt, mTOR, FoxO3a, MSTN, CAPN3, TNF-α, NF-κB, MyHC IIb, MyLC 3, and GLUT4, in both skeletal muscle tissue and serum insulin levels were determined using ELISA. Total protein concentration was measured using the Bradford protein assay, and relative gene expressions of FBXO32, TRIM63, FoxO3a, 4E-BP1, p70S6K, TRIM72, and UbC were analyzed by real-time PCR. Results. Our findings suggest that antioxidants and PMF may alleviate impaired protein synthesis and degradation pathways in skeletal muscle atrophy. PTS showed a positive effect on the anabolic pathway, while RSV and PMF demonstrated potential for ameliorating the catabolic pathway. Notably, the combination therapy of antioxidants and PMF exhibited a stronger ameliorative effect on skeletal muscle atrophy than either intervention alone. Conclusion. The present results highlight the benefits of employing a multimodal approach, involving both antioxidant and PMF therapy, for the management of muscle-wasting conditions. These treatments may have potential therapeutic implications for skeletal muscle atrophy.

In this study, a blend of graphene oxide (GO), leather waste (leather sludge(LS)/leather fleshings (LF)), nanocellulose (nano-C) (biopolymer), and glycerol (Gly) homogeneously in alkaline aqueous solution is used to produce biopolymer blended solution (BBS), by chemical polymerization, for use in bioenergy. The efficient and eco-friendly BBS was characterized by its physicochemical and electrical conductivity properties. The BBS achieved the highest current density energy value (0. 53 mA cm-2) at 1. 2 V. The results of the research show the significance of evaluating bioenergy technological environmental performance from comparable perspectives to examine and identify environmental exchange from existing bioenergy developments.

Background and objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of vacuum-assisted closure (VAC) in the treatment of Fournier gangrene (FG). Material and methods: Forty-eight male patients treated for Fournier gangrene were included in the study. The patients were divided into two groups (Group I: conventional dressing, Group II: VAC therapy). Characteristics of the patients, laboratory parameters, number of debridement procedures, daily number of dressings, visual analogue scale (VAS) during dressing, analgesic requirement, colostomy requirement, time from the first debridement to wound closure, wound closure method, length of hospital stay, and mortality rates were compared. Results: Group I comprised 33 patients and Group II comprised 15 patients. The number of dressings, VAS score and daily analgesic requirement were statistically significantly lower in Group II (p < 0.05) than in Group I. The number of debridement procedures, colostomy requirement, orchiectomy rate, time from first debridement to wound closure, length of hospital stay, wound closure method and mortality rate were similar between these two groups (p > 0.05). Conclusion: The clinical results of conventional dressing and VAC therapy were similar for treating FG. VAC therapy is an effective postoperative wound care method that offers less requirement for dressing changes, less pain, less analgesic requirement and more patient satisfaction compared to conventional dressing.

Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) has been associated with a plethora of neurological manifestations including polyneuropathy and polyradiculopathy. A 27-year-old man with a recent upper respiratory system infection presented with difficulty in walking. His neurological examination revealed reduced muscle strength in both proximal and distal lower limb muscles without sensory and autonomic signs. Needle electromyography showed abnormal spontaneous activity and reduced recruitment of motor units in muscles innervated by multiple lumbo-sacral roots. Cerebrospinal examination showed increased protein levels with normal cell counts. While spinal MRI was normal, whole-body CT and PET examination showed disseminated lymph node enlargement. Anti-EBV viral capsid antigen and anti-nuclear antigen IgG but not IgM was positive, whereas EBV PCR was negative in blood. Analysis of inguinal lymph node biopsy showed reactive lymphoid hyperplasia and EBV DNA. Leucine-rich glioma-inactivated protein 1 (LGI1) antibody was found in serum but not in CSF. All clinical, imaging, and electrophysiological findings improved following steroid and intravenous immunoglobulin treatment. These findings suggested the acute involvement of lumbo-sacral spinal roots and/or motor neurons. Purely motor polyradiculopathy has been reported in both EBV-positive and LGI1 antibody-positive patients, and EBV infection is known to precede different autoimmune manifestations. Whether EBV infection may trigger LGI1 autoimmunity and cause involvement of spinal motor roots and/or motor neurons needs to be further studied.

Objective: In this article, we aimed to share our experience with superselective vesical and prostatic artery embolization applied by transarterial microcatheter method as a treatment option for recurrent resistant hematuria due to bladder and prostate cancer in elderly and comorbid patients. Material and Methods: Bilateral transarterial microcatheter method was used for superselective vesical or prostatic artery embolization in 10 patients whose follow-up treatment was continued in our clinic with macroscopic hematuria due to bladder and prostate cancer diagnoses and could not be treated with other palliative and radical surgical methods due to comorbidity and high surgical operative risk. Before and after embolization treatment; hemoglobin (Hb) and hematocrit (Hct) values of the patients, the amount of transfusion of blood and blood products, postoperative complications, urethral foley catheter removal times and patient satisfaction were evaluated. The patients were followed up with controls intermittently for an average of 15 months. Results: The mean age of the patients included in the study was 77.5 (69-86) years. The average hemoglobin value before and after the embolization procedure was 8,16 mg/dL and 9,48 mg/dL, respectively. The average hematocrit value before and after the embolization procedure was 25,5 and 30,4 , respectively. The average amount of blood products (erythrocyte suspension) transfusion was 2.1 (1-3) units before the procedure, and there was no need for blood transfusion in the follow-up after the procedure. The urethral catheters of all patients were removed on the 5th day (3-7 days) after the urine color became completely clear. There were no major complications, recurrent urethral catheterization or mortality, morbidity related to the treatment after the embolization procedure. Conclusion: Superselective vesical and prostatic artery embolization treatment applied by transarterial microcatheter method is an effective and reliable alternative in the case of resistant hematuria due to bladder or prostate cancer that cannot be controlled with other palliative methods due to the high risk of anesthesia in elderly patients with comorbidities.

Nanoparticle-based antigen carrier systems have become a significant area of research with the advancement of nanotechnology. Biodegradable polymers have emerged as particularly promising carrier vehicles due to their ability to address the limitations of existing vaccine systems. In this study, we successfully encapsulated the G5-24 linear peptide, located between amino acids 253 and 275 in the primary sequence of the rabies virus G protein, into biodegradable and biocompatible PLGA copolymer using the double emulsion solvent evaporation method. The resulting nanoparticles had a size of approximately 230.9 ± 0.9074 nm, with a PDI value of 0.168 ± 0.017 and a zeta potential value of −9.86 ± 0.132 mV. SEM images confirmed that the synthesized nanoparticles were uniform in size and distribution. Additionally, FTIR spectra indicated successful peptide loading into the nanoparticles. The encapsulation efficiency of the peptide-loaded nanoparticles was 73.3%, with a peptide loading capacity of 48.2% and a reaction yield of 30.4%. Peptide release studies demonstrated that 65.55% of the peptide was released in a controlled manner over 28 d, following a 'biphasic burst release' profile consistent with the degradation profile of PLGA. This controlled release is particularly beneficial for vaccine studies. Cytotoxicity tests revealed that the R-NP formulation did not induce cytotoxicity in fibroblast cells and enhanced NO production in macrophages, indicating its potential for vaccine development. AbstractThis study aimed to assess the Turkish validity and reliability of the original Spanish version of the Psychological Responses to Grief before Loss of Health Scale (RPD-PDS-38). The research sample consisted of 538 women who were diagnosed with breast or gynecological cancers, volunteered, and had no communication problems. The scale was determined to consist of 30 items with 6 factors, explaining 63.9% of the total variance. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses established that the 30-item Turkish version yielded six interpretable factors (Faith and Hope, Acceptance, Anger, Negotiation, Depression, and Denial). While this is the same as the original version of the scale in the number of factors (six factors), it differs from the original version in that the original scale has 38 items and explains 46.46% of the total variance. Assessment is carried out based on the scores received from the sub-dimensions. The higher the scores received from the sub-dimensions, the more often individuals experienced a stage of grief. The scale was determined to be a reliable measuring instrument. The study suggests that the Turkish version of the RPD-PDS-30 scale is a valid and reliable instrument for assessing psychological responses to grief before the loss of health in patients diagnosed with breast and gynecological cancers in Turkey. Background: Adolescent brains are highly vulnerable to heavy alcohol exposure. Increased understanding of how alcohol adversely impacts brain maturation may improve treatment outcomes. Objectives: This study characterizes short-term versus long-term effects of ethanol feeding on behavior, frontal lobe glial proteins, and mTOR signaling. Methods: Adolescent rats (8/group) were fed liquid diets containing 26% or 0% ethanol for 2 or 9 weeks, then subjected to novel object recognition (NOR) and open field (OF) tests. Frontal lobes were used for molecular assays. Results: Significant ethanol effects on OF performance occurred in the 2-week model (p <.0001). Further shifts in OF and NOR performance were unrelated to ethanol exposure in the 9-week models (p <.05 to p <.0001). Ethanol inhibited MAG1 (p <.01) and MBP (p <.0001) after 2 but not 9 weeks. However, both control and ethanol 9-week models had significantly reduced MAG1 (p <.001–0.0001), MBP (p <.0001), PDGFRA (p <.05–0.01), and PLP (p <.001–0.0001) relative to the 2-week models. GFAP was the only glial protein significantly inhibited by ethanol in both 2- (p <.01) and 9-week (p <.05) models. Concerning the mTOR pathway, ethanol reduced IRS-1 (p <.05) and globally inhibited mTOR (p <.01 or p <.001) in the 9- but not the 2-week model. Conclusions: Short-term versus long-term ethanol exposures differentially alter neurobehavioral function, glial protein expression, and signaling through IRS-1 and mTOR, which have known roles in myelination during adolescence. E-learning is a fairly recent and fleetly expanding trend of education that increased particularly during the COVID-19 epidemic. Thus, assessing learning with were estimated using descriptive statistics, explanatory and Confirmational Factor Analysis (CFA), Pearson correlation analysis, t-test for dependent variables, and Cronbach alpha coefficient. The content validity index of this scale, calculated according to experts‟ opinions, ranged between 0.84-1.00. According to the explanatory factor analysis, two factors had an eigenvalue> 1. These two factors accounted for 68.6 of the total variance. CFA showed favourable results for Chi forecourt/ degrees of freedom (χ2/df), comparative fit indicator (CFI) and root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA). The Cronbach alpha of the scale was 0.96. The Cronbach alpha measure of the subdimensions are 0.94 and 0.93 independently. The E-Learning Assessment Scale had strong test-retest reliability. In conclusion, the 18-item E-Learning Assessment Scale was a valid and reliable tool for assessing e-learning. The scale enables students to assess the elearning process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
