Entrepreneurship plays an increase role in economic development. Entrepreneurship contributes to the development of innovations, increases economic efficiency, and creates new jobs. Entrepreneurship education and international education seems to be an important antecedent for entrepreneurship intentions. This paper presents an International Intensive Program on Entrepreneurship and confirms the importance of this program concerning the skills, attitudes and competencies acquired or developed by students. Teachers also demonstrated interest and satisfaction in mixed approaches, combining the contribution of teacher knowledge and network, as well as the experience of non-academic entrepreneurs and experts.

The “new normality” and the growing uncertainty that the world faces determine the development of different business and innovative ways of work. To this end, a new mindset and new competences are required to the actors that will participate in these new social and business contexts. Higher Education will certainly have its role in shaping this mindset and competences of the future managers who should be able to participate in the co-creation of value propositions for companies. The project COTADAS (CO-creation To Analyses and Development of Strategic Scenarios) aims to contribute to the training of these future managers. The project aims to analyse and develop strategic scenarios that facilitate intelligent and sustainable value propositions, through digital and intelligent tools. Supported in a multidisciplinary approach and using innovative methodologies, it is intended to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge in less attractive areas for students, namely the areas of finance, revealing how this knowledge can leverage emerging and important areas of knowledge such as innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. The objective of this article is to describe and evaluate the COTADAS project, developed in two Higher Education Institutes (Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal and Federal Institute of Santa Catarina) with Portuguese and Brazilian students. This study is structured in two main parts. In the first part we present a theoretical approach and in the second part we describe the project and the results of the assessment. A questionnaire was applied to participants to evaluate the degree of satisfaction with the project and its impact on entrepreneurial skills. The results revealed a high degree of student’s satisfaction, as well as a valuable impact on the acquisition and development of entrepreneurial skills. Several advantages in participating in COTADAS were pointed out as well as some possible improvements that can enrich the next project edition. Finally, the results allowed us to understand that both successes and failures were important aspects in the students' learning and personal growth.

Knowledge of the residual stress magnitudes induced during the manufacturing process is of interest since these could affect the structural integrity of manufactured parts depending on whether these are in tension or compression. It is also well known that in a wide variety of aerospace components subjected to external loads during work service, only the compressive residual stresses are acceptable. Therefore, the aim of this work focuses on determining residual stresses and their effects created along aluminum parts manufactured by single point incremental sheet forming (SPIF) process. Experimentally, the residual stresses induced during the SPIF process of the formed parts are estimated by using the X-ray diffraction technique on the inner and outer surfaces. It was found that the recorded residual stresses were changing from tensile to compressive ones along the formed part which is an indication of bending effects. Analytical evaluation of these effects reveals that the magnitude of the bending stress distribution is significant when compared to the material yield stress. Furthermore, the variation of sheet thickness was recorded in the same regions at which the XRD measurements were recorded. Experimental data show that there is a correlation between the residual and bending stress distributions with respect to the variation of the sheet thickness that affects the microstructural evolution of the aluminum parts.

O empreendedorismo constitui uma importante opcao para os estudantes. Alguns investigadores consideram que a decisao sobre torna-se empreendedor envolve um processo mental elaborado. Este estudo pretende compreender este processo mental, seguindo a abordagem cognitiva atraves da aplicacao do questionario das Intencoes Empreendedoras (EIQ) a estudantes da Escola Superior de Ciencias Empresariais (ESCE), Instituto Politecnico de Setubal (IPS). O principal objetivo deste estudo consiste na compreensao das intencoes empreendedoras dos estudantes, considerando a influencia social e a percecao das habilidades. Adicionalmente, o estudo tenta compreender a influencia do genero, idade, experiencia laboral e experiencia de auto-emprego nas intencoes empreendedoras dos estudantes. Para atingir estes objetivos foi utilizada uma abordagem quantitativa. As tecnicas estatisticas utilizadas foram a analise fatorial para a identificacao dos factores, assim como a analise de correlacao e o teste t para a confirmacao das hipoteses. Este estudo permitiu a confirmacao das conclusoes de estudos previos no que concerne a relacao entre a intencao empreendedora e a atitude para o empreendedorismo, normas subjetivas e controlo comportamental percebido. Estes resultados revelaram que a idade e o genero estao significativamente correlacionados com as intencoes empreendedoras.
