All over the world, the hearing and speaking impaired person communicate through the sign language as it is the only reliable source of interaction with themselves and as well as with normal people. This language is mainly made up ofthe shape of the hand movement and gestures it made. This system aims to bridge this communication gap and aid the deaf and the mute to use technology to carryout their daily transactions by using a simple approach which is easily implementable. Also, to help the hearing and speaking impaired person to communicate with people who do not understand sign language. In this system, the sign language concentrates on the 26 letters of alphabets and some simple phrases like Hello, Good morning, thank you, etc., The proposed system aims to recognize sign language and convert it to text. In this paper a technique is proposed todevelop a system which collects the datasets for the input. Input given to the system is an image of the hand depicting. OpenCV is used as a tool for image processing in the proposed system. The system is trained in a specific which we will discuss in the upcoming sections which predict the result of the input given. This mainly uses the TensorFlow for the prediction analysis and detection analysis

This work has worked in field of web page prediction as per user previous visits. Web mining logs and content features were further processed to extract the linear regression feature from the work. Extracted features were used for the page prediction in testing phase. Frog leaping genetic algorithm was used for the population generation and possible page prediction. Experiment was done on real dataset extracted from projecttunnel.com website. Results were compared with existing page prediction models and it was obtained that Web Page Prediction Frog Leaping Algorithm (WPPFLA) model has improved the work performance with respect to precision value, accuracy, Fitness measure and Metric values.

Anticipating an increasing demand for hybrid double network (DN) hydrogels in biomedicine and biotechnology, this study evaluated the effects of each network on the mechanical and biological properties. Polyethylene glycol (PEG) (meth)acrylate hydrogels with varied monomer molecular weights and architectures (linear vs. 4-arm) were produced with and without an added ionically bonded alginate network and their mechanical properties were characterized using compression testing. The results showed that while some mechanical properties of PEG single network (SN) hydrogels decreased or changed negligibly with increasing molecular weight, the compressive modulus, strength, strain to failure, and toughness of DN hydrogels all significantly increased with increased PEG monomer molecular weight. At a fixed molecular weight (10 kDa), 4-arm PEG SN hydrogels exhibited better overall mechanical performance; however, this benefit was diminished for the corresponding DN hydrogels with comparable strength and toughness and lower strain to failure for the 4-arm case. Regardless of the PEG monomer structure, the alginate network made a relatively larger contribution to the overall DN mechanical properties when the covalent PEG network was looser with a larger mesh size (e.g., for larger monomer molecular weight and/or linear architecture) which presumably enabled more ionic crosslinking. Considering the biological performance, adipose derived stem cell cultures demonstrated monotonically increasing cell area and Yes-associated protein related mechanosensing with increasing amounts of alginate from 0 to 2 wt.%, demonstrating the possibility for using DN hydrogels in guiding musculoskeletal differentiation. These findings will be useful to design suitable hydrogels with controllable mechanical and biological properties for mechanically demanding applications. STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE: Hydrogels are widely used in commercial applications, and recently developed hybrid double network hydrogels have enhanced strength and toughness that will enable further expansion into more mechanically demanding applications (e.g., medical implants, etc.). The significance of this work is that it uncovers some key principles regarding monomer molecular weight, architecture, and concentration for developing strong and tough hybrid double network hydrogels that would not be predicted from their single network counterparts or a linear combination of the two networks. Additionally, novel insight is given into the biological performance of hybrid double network hydrogels in the presence of adipose derived stem cell cultures which suggests new scope for using double network hydrogels in guiding musculoskeletal differentiation.

This research work presents the utilization of weblog feature for analysis and pattern learning. Proposed model extract association rule forms the weblog with text pattern format on the web page. Here we have considered the input data set from a live website’s weblogs called as project tunnel.com. Association rule and text URL patterns were used for learning multi-Regression probability generation. Once the regression value is set than Intelligent Water Drop Algorithm will be applied for predicting or recommending the next page as per user previous set of pages, where IWD algorithm increases the accuracy of prediction by utilizing the regression values in fitness function. Live websites weblogs were analyzed for the experiment and comparison of proposed WPPIWD (Web Page Prediction Intelligent Water Drop) has improved the work efficiency when compared to other existing methods.

Gastrulation is a stage in embryo development where three germ layers arise to dictate the human body plan. In vitro models of gastrulation have been demonstrated by treating pluripotent stem cells with soluble morphogens to trigger differentiation. However, in vivo gastrulation is a multistage process coordinated through feedback between soluble gradients and biophysical forces, with the multipotent epiblast transforming to the primitive streak followed by germ layer segregation. Here, the authors show how constraining pluripotent stem cells to hydrogel islands triggers morphogenesis that mirrors the stages preceding in vivo gastrulation, without the need for exogenous supplements. Within hours of initial seeding, cells display a contractile phenotype at the boundary, which leads to enhanced proliferation, yes-associated protein (YAP) translocation, epithelial to mesenchymal transition, and emergence of SRY-box transcription factor 17 (SOX17)

The incorporation of mechanosensitive linkages into polymers has led to materials with dynamic force responsivity. Here we report oxanorbornadiene cross-linked double network hydrogels that release molecules through a force-mediated retro Diels-Alder reaction. The molecular design and tough double network of polyacrylamide and alginate promote significantly higher activation at substantially less force than pure polymer systems. Activation at physiologically relevant forces provides scope for instilling dynamic mechanochemical behavior in soft biological materials.

The present study was carried out to examine the ameliorative potential of nanocurcumin against arsenic induced (sub-chronic) alterations in central nervous system in male Wistar rats. Nanocurcumin was synthesised and the hydrodynamic diameter, zeta potential and particle size were ~ 76.60 nm, (-) 30 mV and 95nm, respectively. Experimental rats sub-chronically exposed to sodium (meta) arsenite (As; 10 mg.kg− 1; 70 days; p.o) induced significant (p p − 1; p.o) showed significant (p 2in brain and angiotensin-II levels (plasma) was significantly (p Nox2 expression in brain following nanocurcumin administration. Thus, the study concludes that nanocurcumin can serve as a potential therapeutic candidate to counter arsenic induced redox imbalance and neuropharmacological disturbances and there exists a vast scope to exploit its utility after appropriate clinical modelling.

Dysmenorrhea is known as a painful period during menstruation. It is the widely prevalent and common complaint among young women, which affects their quality of life. The aim is to assess the prevalence of menstrual symptoms and primary dysmenorrhea during menstruation among medical undergraduates and its effects on the quality of their life. A cross-sectional study was conducted among 60 Medical undergraduates atSaveetha Medical college. The participants were asked to complete a self-reported questionnaire on menstrual symptoms and primary dysmenorrhea. Primary dysmenorrhea was reported in 43.9% (27) of participants. Abdominal pain was reported in 78% (46), and 52% (31) of girls felt weak and tired during menses. In 40% (24) of girls, there has been a family history of primary dysmenorrhea. Abdominal pain was found to be highly prevalent among adolescent girls. Family history, bleeding duration, tiredness are some of the risk factors associated with primary dysmenorrhea.

Embryogenesis is orchestrated through local morphogen gradients and endometrial constraints that give rise to the three germ layers in a well-defined assembly. In vitro models of embryogenesis have been demonstrated by treating pluripotent stem cells in adherent or suspension culture with soluble morphogens and small molecules, which leads to tri-lineage differentiation. However, treatment with exogenous agents override the subtle spatiotemporal changes observed in vivo that ultimately underly the human body plan. Here we demonstrate how microconfinement of pluripotent stem cells on hydrogel substrates catalyses gastrulation-like events without the need for supplements. Within six hours of initial seeding, cells at the boundary show elevated cytoskeletal tension and yes-associated protein (YAP) activity, which leads to changes in cell and nuclear morphology, epithelial to mesenchymal transition, and emergence of defined patterns of primitive streak containing SRY-Box Transcription Factor 17 (SOX17)+ T/BRACHYURY+ cells. Immunofluorescence staining, transcript analysis, and the use of pharmacological modulators reveal a role for mechanotransduction-coupled non-canonical wingless-type (WNT) signalling in promoting epithelial to mesenchymal transition and multilayered organization within the colonies. These microscale gastruloids were removed from the substrate and encapsulated in 3D hydrogels, where biomaterials properties correspond to maintenance and spatial positioning of the primitive streak. Together, this approach demonstrates how materials alone can nurture embryonic gastrulation, thereby providing an in vitro model of early development.
