El estudio aborda la autoevaluación de carreras y programas en las IES, considerada actualmente uno de los principales desafíos del subsistema de educación superior y del ejecutivo. Se cree que la creación de una cultura de evaluación en el sector podría tener un impacto positivo en la calidad de la enseñanza, aumentando la investigación científica y las prácticas de extensión. El objetivo del estudio es verificar las calificaciones técnicas de los miembros del comité de autoevaluación (CAA) y evaluar en qué medida pueden verse reflejadas en los resultados del proceso de autoevaluación de cursos y programas; Teóricamente estaba respaldado por la legislación que regula la educación superior. Se trata de un enfoque cualitativo, que utiliza entrevistas semiestructuradas. Entre los resultados destacamos la no adecuación de la normativa y procesos internos de las IES al Decreto Presidencial 310/20 y la legislación que regula la evaluación en la educación superior; cuanto más tiempo permanezca en la comisión, mejor será el desempeño del evaluador y su contribución al proceso; en general, los evaluadores no están capacitados en áreas relacionadas con la evaluación y ni siquiera han tenido capacitación relacionada; Los evaluadores tienen poco conocimiento de la legislación que regula el proceso de evaluación. Por otro lado, existe la necesidad de realizar un plan de capacitación que incluya las dimensiones de investigación que involucran a los miembros del CAA, Gerentes y Personal Técnico Administrativo (PTA) en el proceso de autoevaluación de UNIBELAS, así como la necesidad de destinar presupuesto fondos para apoyar el procesoasertivas.

The field of organic-borne biomarkers has been gaining relevance due to its suitability for diagnosing pathologies and health conditions in a rapid, accurate, non-invasive, painless and low-cost way. Due to the lack of analytical techniques with features capable of analysing such a complex matrix as the human breath, the academic community has focused on developing electronic noses based on arrays of gas sensors. These sensors are assembled considering the excitability, sensitivity and sensing capacities of a specific nanocomposite, graphene. In this way, graphene-based sensors can be employed for a vast range of applications that vary from environmental to medical applications. This review work aims to gather the most relevant published papers under the scope of “Graphene sensors” and “Biomarkers” in order to assess the state of the art in the field of graphene sensors for the purposes of biomarker identification. During the bibliographic search, a total of six pathologies were identified as the focus of the work. They were lung cancer, gastric cancer, chronic kidney diseases, respiratory diseases that involve inflammatory processes of the airways, like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, sleep apnoea and diabetes. The achieved results, current development of the sensing sensors, and main limitations or challenges of the field of graphene sensors are discussed throughout the paper, as well as the features of the experiments addressed.

Nine potentially bidentate thiosemicarbazone (HLn) ligands and their tricarbonylrhenium(I) complexes, [ReY(HLn)(CO)3] (Y=Cl, Br), were synthesized and their binding affinity towards the alpha and beta receptors were determined using a competitive standard radiometric assay with [3H]‐estradiol. Even in the absence of a base, coordinated thiosemicarbazones can undergo deprotonation causing the release of the coordinated halide forming dimeric species, [Re2(Ln)2(CO)6]. The observation of the formation of the dinuclear complex where the thiosemicarbazone ligand adopts the zwitterionic form, [Re2(HL9)2(CO)6]Br2, motivated the theoretical study of the relative stability of these species. Despite the ease of formation of the dimer complexes, it was possible to optimize a synthetic route to obtain the [2+1] complexes [Re(Ln)(pym)(CO)3] where pym is the monodentate ligand 4‐dimethylamino‐pyridine or 4‐hydroxy ‐pyridine. The inclusion of this additional ligand substantially improves the affinity against the receptors (in some cases against both). [99mTc(Ln)(pym)(CO)3] complexes were also prepared using [99mTc(H2O)(CO)3]+, an excess of HLn ligand and in the presence of pym. The radiochromatograms show the formation of the [2+1] complex but also the presence of species resulting from the substitution of pym by chloride and water. However, the ratio of intensities between the three signals remains constant with the variation of the relative concentration of the three monodentate ligands suggesting an equilibrium between the three complexes. A folic acid-targeted polyurea (PURE) dendrimer was easily radiolabelled with Technetium-99m (99mTc-PUREG4-FA2) avoiding the use of additional ligands and bioconjugation chemistry. This straightforward strategy is enabled in PURE dendrimers due to their favourable surface terminal groups configuration, showing coordination capabilities and turning these biodendrimers into attractive platforms for nanoradiotheranostics. The present work consisted of an exploratory study aiming to evaluate in vitro the potential of AuNPs during Radiation Therapy (RT) in human pancreatic adenocarcinoma cells. AuNPs coated with hyaluronic and oleic acids (HAOA-AuNPs) or with bombesin peptides (BBN-AuNPs) were used. AuNPs were characterized by Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and Dynamic Light Scattering. BxPC-3 tumor cells were irradiated with a 6 MV X-rays beam, in the absence or presence of AuNPs. AFM showed that HAOA-AuNPs and BBN-AuNPs are spherical with a mean size of 83 ± 20 nm and 49 ± 12 nm, respectively. For RT alone, a reduction in cell viability of up to 33 ± 12% was obtained compared to the control (p ≤ 0.0001). HAOA-AuNPs alone at 200 and 400 μM showed a reduction in cell viability of 20 ± 4% and 35 ± 4%, respectively, while for BBN-AuNPs, at 50 and 200 μM, a reduction in cell viability of 25 ± 3% and 37 ± 3% was obtained, respectively, compared to the control (p < 0.0001). At 72 h post-irradiation, a decrease in cell viability of 26 ± 3% and 22 ± 2% between RT + HAOA-AuNPs at 400 μM and RT + BBN-AuNPs at 50 μM, compared to RT alone, was obtained (p < 0.004). The combination of RT with AuNPs led to a significant decrease in cell viability compared to the control, or RT alone, thus representing an improved effect. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
