In present study we have designed and synthesized novel cellulose supported ionic liquid catalyst (CSILC), [Cell@Al2O3(HEPiPY)]DCA and explored its catalytic efficiency for synthesis of novel 11b,12‐dihydro‐6H,13Hbenzo[5,6][1,3]oxazino[3,4‐a]quinazoline‐6,13‐diones by performing the one pot reaction of 2‐(2‐hydroxyaryl)‐2,3‐ dihydroquinazolin‐4(1H)‐one and 1,1‐carbonyl diimidazole (CDI). The catalyst was characterized by diverse analytical techniques viz. Fourier‐Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT‐IR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive X‐ray Analysis (EDX) and Thermo Gravimetric Analysis (TGA). The biological activities of synthesized novel derivatives were evaluated along with in silico assessments against the vascular endothelial growth factor receptor‐2 (VEGFR‐2) target, in which the results were considerable. We have synthesized a novel bronsted acidic surfactant, 3-methyl-1-sulfonic acid imidazolium dioctyl sulfosuccinate [MSIM]+ [DOSS]−. We explored catalytic activity of [MSIM]+ [DOSS]− for regioselective synthesis of novel class of thiazolotriazolones from the reaction of aldehydes/ketones, thiosemicarbazide and ethylbromo acetate in aqueous medium at room temperature. The regio-selectivity was confirmed by DFT and IR frequency calculations. The present methodology offers a feasible approach for swift access to collection of extremely pure products with wide substrate scope having several advantages such as excellent yields, short reaction time, easy work-up procedure for isolation of product and use of surfactant as eco-friendly catalyst, use of water as an universal solvent and novelty in synthesis of surfactant [MSIM]+ [DOSS]− as well as investigation of regioselective synthesis of novel class of thiazolotriazolones. A highly efficient and sustainable ferrite supported palladium nanocatalyst (Pd(II)-Benz-Am-Fe3O4@SiO2) has been prepared and characterized by diverse microscopic and spectroscopic techniques. The Pd(II)-Benz-Am-Fe3O4@SiO2 was employed as magnetically recoverable nanocatalyst in the synthesis of symmetrical biaryls by reductive homocoupling of haloarenes (I, Br and Cl) using hydrazine hydrate (N2H4) as reducing agent. The Pd-Benz-Am-Fe3O4@SiO2 nanocatalyst exhibited high surface area and efficient magnetization as 45.25 m2/g and 34 emu/g, respectively. The Electron Dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis confirmed 3.9 mol % loading of Pd in Pd-Benz-Am-Fe3O4@SiO2. Moverever, high turnover number (TON) and turnover frequency (TOF), operational simplicity and facial recyclability and reusability (up to eight runs) are the remarkable advantages of the nanocatalyst. The catalytic activity and stability of recycled Pd(II)-Benz-Am-Fe3O4@SiO2 catalyst was comprehensively studied from X- ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopic (TEM) and EDX analysis.
