In this work, 1-((benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)methyl)-4,5-dihydro-3-methyl-N-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-5-imine (3a-h) have been successfully synthesized from the condensation of 2-((Benzo[d]thiazol-2-1-((benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)methyl)-3-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5(4H)-one (2) with different aromatic amines. On the other hand, in another protocol, cyclization of 2-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl) acetohydrazide (4) with different aromatic aldehydes afforded 2-((5-aryl-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)methyl)benzo[d]thiazoles (5a-h). A perusal of the biological activity studies revealed that the derivatives having chlorine as substituent are more toxic to all six bacteria. Among the chloro group compounds, the compound which has methoxy group is more toxic.

In the present investigation 2-(hydrazinylmethyl)-1,3-benzothiazole was reacted with aryl aldehyde to give 2-{[2Z)-2-arylhydrazinyl]methyl}-1,3-benzothiazole (3a-f), which in absolute ethanol treated with thioglycolic acid (0.001 mol) and anhydrous zinc chloride under reflux for 8 hr to get 3-[1,3-benzothiazol-2-ylmethyl) amino]-5-(aryl)-1,3-thiazolidin-2-ones (4a-f). On the other hand [Benzothiozole N-aryl thiozolemethanamines] (5a-f) were obtained, when the compounds (3a-f), are treated with diazomethane.

To study the effect of Ag2O on the dielectric properties of the glass system with chemical composition xAg2O-(30-x)TeO2−20Li2O-50B2O3(x= 0,0.5,1.0,1.5 and 2.0mole%) was synthesized by melt quench technique. X-ray diffraction studies on the glass system revealed the amorphous nature. Frequency dependent AC conductivity measurements were implied on the prepared glass system in the high frequency range 5Hz-35MHz. AC conductivity measurements was recorded from room temperature to 350°C for all the samples. Presence of two ionic network modifiers such as Ag2O and Li2O plays significant role in the electrical transport properties like real dielectric permittivity(ɛ/) and loss tangent (tan δ). Addition of Ag2O causes breaking of base glass former B2O3 structural units with the creation of non-bridging oxygens (NBOs) in the glass network. Dielectric properties of the glass system show inconsistency in the results from room temperature to 100°C due to non-uniform charge carrier moments up to certain temperatures. Tangent loss and dielectric permittivity (ɛ/) decreased with increase of frequency and getting saturation at higher frequencies.
