In this review is summarized the last knowledge on rabbit doe nutrition, to complement the current nutritional requirements and strategies for the young and adult rabbit does, considering the production, health, and welfare issues. The rabbit doe must reach an adequate maturity level (body condition) at first artificial insemination (AI) to face its productive life with minimal guarantees (around 7.0 mm of perirenal fat thickness, 2.8 ng/mL of plasma leptin concentration and around 18% and 15-20% of body protein and fat, respectively). [EN] The 46th Congress of the Spanish Association of Cuniculture (ASESCU) was held in Pineda de Mar (Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain) from 1st to 2nd June 2022, hosted by the Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA) and the Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda of the Government of Catalonia. Four main guest lectures were given. The first explained the trends in the meat products market and the implications for the rabbit sector. Another presented an overview of rabbit farming in Catalonia. Moreover, another talk addressed the question of how much a rabbit farm pollutes. Finally, a fourth talk was addressed to the prudent use of antibiotics in rabbit farming in a context of reducing the use of antimicrobials. A round table was held on the demands of European legislation and citizens in terms of rabbit housing and welfare, with the participation of experts from Belgium, Italy and Spain. In addition, a total of 26 communications were presented in working sessions (genetics, nutrition, reproduction, and pathology and welfare) as oral communications and posters. The meeting was attended by almost 140 participants from several European and American countries. Abstracts of the contributions presented are reported below.

[EN] The first Webinar on Cuniculture, WebiAsescu 2020, organised by the Spanish Association of Cuniculture (ASESCU), was held online 11st and 24th November, and 17th December, 2020, co-organised with Grupo Editorial Agricola and Henar Comunicación Agroalimentaria. This meeting was programmed in substitution of the annual edition of Symposium on Cuniculture, cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The webinar series was arranged in thee editions consisting each one of two main talks and 5-6 oral communications. First webinar focussed on Marketing of rabbit meat and new consumer trends and was integrated by two main talks: How to improve the marketing of rabbit meat (by María Luz de Santos, from Intercun) and Analysis of the status and future perspectives of rabbit meat production and industry in Spain (by Luis Montero, from Polytechnic University of Valencia). Second webinar was related to Pathology: coronavirus and control of myxomatoxis and viral hemorrhagic disease and included two main talks: Coronavirus and rabbit farming (by Francisco Parra, from University of Oviedo) and Myxomatosis and viral hemorrhagic disease: key aspects of its control (by Juan M. Rosell, from Cunivetservice). Third webinar was devoted to Present and future of the sector: Legislation, certification and animal welfare and two main talks were presented: Conclusions and recommendations EFSA: Health and welfare of rabbits on farms (by Angela Trocino, from University of Padova) and Indicators of animal welfare in rabbits. How to do a full assessment (by Antoni Dalmau, from IRTA). Moreover, a total of 16 oral communications were presented by research teams from Spain, Algeria, Mexico, France and United Kingdom. Each webinar was attended by more than 300 participants from several European, American and African countries. Abstracts of the contributions presented are reported below.

On average, a commercial rabbit female currently has no more than six litters her entire life, leading to a young age-structure. Because the investment in maintenance that prolongs lifespan trades-off with early reproductive effort, a more sustainable and healthful rabbit-production system would increase the proportion of females with more than six litters. The arguments for this suggestion are based in parts of life-history theory that have been experimentally confirmed in other organisms. Here we explore the effect on the age- structure of arbitrarily lowering the overall culling rate of a typical commercial population by 25 points of percentage (from 191 to 138 females culled). When we assumed a lower culling rate, we found that the age- structure of this commercial population would change to a more balanced proportion of mature (i.e.females having six or more litters) and young females. The new-age structure would improve adaptation to local conditions, favor health and robustness, and lengthen potential lifespan.

Las autoridades europeas han definido un detallado y sistemático régimen en materia de obligaciones de servicio público impuestas a las empresas ferroviarias (Reglamento 1370/2007). El régimen general en materia de servicios de interés económico general facilita la interpretación del Reglamento. La normativa española en la materia, tanto la transitoria de la LOTT y la LES como la contenida en la Ley del Sector Ferroviario, han de ser revisadas para dar pleno cumplimiento a lo dispuesto en la normativa comunitaria. Más allá, la liberalización del sector en julio de 2013 exige definir la política en materia de servicio público ferroviario. La incertidumbre se incrementa dado que la Comisión ha presentado sus propuestas de revisión del Reglamento 1370/2007 en el marco del denominado Cuarto paquete Ferroviario.European authorities have defined a detailed and comprehensive legal regime on public service obligations to be imposed on railways undertakings /Regulation 1370/2007). The general regime on services of general economic interest facilitates the interpretation of the Regulation. Spanish legislation, both the transitory regime in LOTT and LES and the definitive regimen in the Railway Industry Act, need to be amended to be fully compliant with the European regime. Furthermore, liberalization on July 31, 2012 requires a further review of the national policy on railway transport. Uncertainty is increased as the European Commission has presented a proposal to amend Regulation 1370/2007 in the framework of the Fourth Railway package.

The importance of knowing the climatic conditions which surround the monuments, as they are closely related to the alteration of the materials which constitute them, is more and more evident due to the interest that they have in order to enable us to succeed in controlling the deterioration of the Architectonic Patrimony. It is for this reason that we are doing the present study which deals with the alteration of the stone used in the historic architecture of Alicante, a city in Spain located on the Mediterranean basin. The characteristics of such city owing to its climate as well as its location, its orography and the characteristics of the stone used in its construction up to the last years of the XIX century, make it ideal to conduct a study of this character.

En el presente trabajo, se analizará la moneda virtual mas utilizada en la actualidad, denominada Bitcoin. Esta moneda fue creada en 2009 y se trata de una moneda creada de forma anónima y descentralizada, sin ningún tipo de control gubernamental. La gran volatilidad del Bitcoin, ha conseguido que esta moneda sea un foco de controversia. Muchos de los entendidos en esta materia aseguran que el valor de esta moneda seguirá aumentando, sin embargo, muchos otros afirman que esta criptomoneda llegará a su fin. A día de hoy, estamos en un mundo donde la ciencia y las tecnologías no hacen más que avanzar, buscando de esta manera mejorar el bienestar y la comodidad del ser humano. Esto lo podemos comprobar por ejemplo en la prestación de servicios que se han ido haciendo más cómodos para los ciudadanos a pasos agigantados. En la actualidad, las formas de pago han cobrado una gran importancia, ya que los ciudadanos buscan la forma mas cómoda de realizarlas, por ello han aumentado de forma exponencial los movimientos de dinero a través de internet. Por este mismo motivo se produjo la creación de esta moneda conocida como Bitcoin, para facilitar al ciudadano a la hora de realizar transacciones. El Bitcoin permite realizar transacciones de dinero de forma rápida y anónima, sin la necesidad de ninguna figura central. A pesar de que esto puede significar una ventaja para muchos, como se verá posteriormente, también podría acabar siendo una desventaja, ya que facilita el uso fraudulento de esta moneda. For that reason, money movements through the internet have increased exponentially. For that same reason this virtual coin known as bitcoin was created to make these transactions easier. Bitcoin allows these transactions of money to be done fast and anonymously without any need of a central figure. Although this may seem like an advantage for many, as we will see later, this can also end up being a disadvantage, so that this makes it easier to fraud this money.
