Academic dishonesty has become a serious concern, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic era, where online learning is left as a single option in almost all academic activities. Lack of graduate ethics has an impact on attitudes in the workplace. Therefore, it is important to introduce academic integrity to students in higher education to foster an attitude of honesty in the world of work, especially ethics. Online lectures encourage students to violate academic integrity due to the lack of direct interaction and administration. This study aims to see the level of academic dishonesty that occurs during online lectures. The research was conducted by the Faculty of Economics and Business, public and private universities. The number of samples is 431 students of economics and business. We examine the effect of lecture administration, lecturer-student interaction, and learning satisfaction on the impact of academic dishonesty. The results showed that clear administration and good interaction between lecturers and students would increase student learning satisfaction and reduce academic dishonesty. But the satisfaction that students want to achieve does not have a significant effect on the level of academic dishonesty. Implications for practice are discussed and future research directions are offered.

The aim of this study was to develop a student entrepreneurship education model that integrates the design thinking model into the creative problem-solving process and finds solutions to problems through Lean Canvas. The solutions generated can be translated into a unique value proposition substantiated by ownership of a competitive advantage that is difficult to be imitated by competitors. According to the Lean Canvas model, merely being a pioneer in a new market cannot be perceived as a competition. Further activities for developing entrepreneurial competencies include expanding knowledge, changing the existing mindset, motivating, skills, and the ability to develop businesses through training and mentoring in entrepreneurship, and national virtual entrepreneurship competitions. Study participants were recruited from the University of Mulawarman, including heads of faculty (n=2), study program coordinators (n=3), lecturers teaching entrepreneurship subjects (n=4), and students (n=76). Data were collected and analyzed using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The effectiveness of entrepreneurship education based on design thinking and Lean Canvas methodologies was also explored. A successful implementation of these methodologies required integration and synergy between entrepreneurship activities and leveraging the entrepreneurship ecosystem collaboration model. This included a range of activities such as lectures, training, coaching, and business plan competitions. Lectures were designed to foster entrepreneurial development based on the local region and strengthen collaborations among associations, businesses, communities, governments, and media ecosystems. The entrepreneurship education program introduced entrepreneurial thinking patterns and business planning through design thinking. Business coaching was used to cultivate advanced entrepreneurship competencies and guide business development. The Lean Canvas method largely focused on validating the compatibility between the problem, the solution, and the market.

The paper proposes an approach in numerical modeling of electromagnetic forming of aluminum tubes. The investigated technology refers to a free expansion/bulging, without a die, of a thin wall aluminum tube. The aim is to build an accurate model that can take into account the particularities of the process, which is useful for numerical investigations regarding an optimal design of the device.

One of the most advanced reality technologies for education in recent years is augmented reality (AR). To create a fun learning atmosphere and to aid student learning, several subjects have begun incorporating modern technology into their teaching and learning procedures. In addition to being extensively tested and developed for typical students, AR has also been used successfully to help kids with learning disabilities (SLD). This study is focused on students with learning difficulties, looking at the changes in the usage of augmented reality (AR) technology in education over the previous few years, particularly in the area of physical education. Physical Education (PE) is frequently identified as one of the disciplines that is challenging for kids with learning disabilities to follow. This study makes use of a detailed analysis of an AR application in connection to this subject over the preceding five years because AR has the significant potential to be applied in the field of physical education. The development of this technology in physical education, the kind of AR technology employed, and the kinds of learning disability groups that the technology can help are demonstrated in a clear and understandable manner. The researcher's perspectives and the chance to advance this study will be helped by this.

Based on finite element analysis, this paper investigates a possible new technology for electromagnetic processing of thin metal sheets, in order to improve the productivity, especially on automated manufacturing lines. This technology consists of induction heating process followed by magnetoforming process, both applied to metal sheet, using the same tool coil for both processes.

The considered application consists of the analysis of behavior of an inductive proximity sensor at variation of design parameters.

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu tahap yang harus dijalani individu untuk mempersiapkan diri dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Banyak pilihan sekolah yang ditawarkan dalam dunia pendidikan sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu. Dalam memilih sekolah hendaknya memperhatikan pula bagaimana sistem dan latar belakang pendidik dalam mengajar dan berkomunikasi dengan siswa. Pertimbangan ini penting untuk dilakukan guna mendukung perkembangan individu yang optimal dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Studi literatur dalam penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memahami bagaimana pola komunikasi yang dibangun oleh guru dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus. Dari hasil pencarian 115 jurnal, terpilih 12 sumber yang sesuai dengan tema, judul, dan kebutuhan penelitian. Ditemukan faktor internal dan eksternal yang menghambat komunikasi antara guru dan berkebutuhan khusus. Hambatan dalam berkomunikasi dapat diatasi dengan menerapkan pola komunikasi, tidak hanya verbal dan nonverbal, yaitu melakukan pendekatan dengan membangun empati pada siswa untuk bersosialisasi dan berinteraksi dengan yang lain, membangun rasa aman siswa dengan lebih dekat dan menggunakan bahasa isyarakat lokal dan nasional.

Abstract The implementation and potential of ketogenic dietary therapies (KDTs) have changed over time. The organization of KDT services, the availability of multidisciplinary teams, resources and support for patients and families still vary widely around the world. This diversity is reflected by a lack of consistency in reported outcomes, optimization of using KDT and KDT compliance. To highlight the unmet needs for KDT services, the ERN EpiCARE Ketogenic Dietary Therapy Special Interest Group (KDT SIG) conducted an online survey on KDT implementation and utilization, addressing the following topics: Use and completeness of guidelines and protocols; assessment of compliance and outcome parameters, sustainability and inclusivity in daily life. Consistently reported unmet needs included the lack of psychological support and resources to measure and improve adherence to KDT, the lack of inclusion strategies, and shared guidelines and protocols adapting to specific needs. Future interventions should focus primarily on educational and informative measures together with creation of shared protocols for complex care. Plain Language Summary This study provides the results of a survey compiled by clinicians and patients representatives belonging to ERN Epicare, designed to unravel unmet needs from both patients' and healthcare practitioners' perspectives during ketogenic dietary therapies (KDT) provision. Importantly, results show the need to create new shared protocols and guidelines meant for KDT use in complex care situations and to develop future strategies initiatives to support patients improving their social inclusivity.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA) is a lethal disease notoriously resistant to therapy1,2. This is mediated in part by a complex tumour microenvironment3, low vascularity4, and metabolic aberrations5,6. Although altered metabolism drives tumour progression, the spectrum of metabolites used as nutrients by PDA remains largely unknown. Here we identified uridine as a fuel for PDA in glucose-deprived conditions by assessing how more than 175 metabolites impacted metabolic activity in 21 pancreatic cell lines under nutrient restriction. Uridine utilization strongly correlated with the expression of uridine phosphorylase 1 (UPP1), which we demonstrate liberates uridine-derived ribose to fuel central carbon metabolism and thereby support redox balance, survival and proliferation in glucose-restricted PDA cells. In PDA, UPP1 is regulated by KRAS-MAPK signalling and is augmented by nutrient restriction. Consistently, tumours expressed high UPP1 compared with non-tumoural tissues, and UPP1 expression correlated with poor survival in cohorts of patients with PDA. Uridine is available in the tumour microenvironment, and we demonstrated that uridine-derived ribose is actively catabolized in tumours. Finally, UPP1 deletion restricted the ability of PDA cells to use uridine and blunted tumour growth in immunocompetent mouse models. Our data identify uridine utilization as an important compensatory metabolic process in nutrient-deprived PDA cells, suggesting a novel metabolic axis for PDA therapy.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) remains one of the deadliest cancers. Significant efforts have largely defined major genetic factors driving PDAC pathogenesis and progression. Pancreatic tumors are characterized by a complex microenvironment that orchestrates metabolic alterations and supports a milieu of interactions among various cell types within this niche. In this review, we highlight the foundational studies that have driven our understanding of these processes. We further discuss the recent technological advances that continue to expand our understanding of PDAC complexity. We posit that the clinical translation of these research endeavors will enhance the currently dismal survival rate of this recalcitrant disease.

The expression and function of podoplanin (PDPN) in the normal human placenta has been debated in placental evaluation. This study emphasizes the importance of a multimodal approach of PDPN expression in normal human placentas. A complete examination is performed using immunohistochemistry, RNAscope and automated Digital Image examination (DIA) interpretation. QuPath DIA-based analysis automatically generated the stromal and histological scores of PDPN expression for immunohistochemistry and RNAscope stains. The umbilical cord’s isolated fibroblasts and luminal structures expressed PDPN protein and PDPN_mRNA. RNAscope detected PDPN_mRNA upregulation in syncytial placental knots trophoblastic cells, but immunohistochemistry did not certify this at the protein level. The study found a significant correlation between the IHC and RNAscope H-Score (p = 0.033) and Allred Score (p = 0.05). A successful multimodal strategy for PDPN assessment in human placentas confirmed PDPN expression heterogeneity in the full-term human normal placenta and umbilical cord at the protein and mRNA level. In placental syncytial knots trophoblastic cells, PDPN showed mRNA overexpression, suggesting a potential role in placenta maturation.

In the realm of human development, the term ecopsychology makes the transition from nature to the human being, but especially to the nature of the human being, of their development, taking into account the environment: natural; psychological; social; educational; spiritual; medical; economic; environmental; of origin; of reference, etc., in/to which we find ourselves or wish to find ourselves and which identifies us in this case as a matrix, a personal imprint, giving us the stamp of uniqueness. The environment along with heredity and education has its own social identity and acts as a factor in human development. It represents an accumulation of value where the complex triad: man-nature-society determines its expression as an imprint of human evolution in an informed way, highlighting the formula of social environment.

Grape seeds derived from winemaking pomace represent a significant waste stream with potential for valorization due to their rich phenolic content. The present study aimed to assess the phenolic composition and antioxidant potency of defatted grape seeds powder (DP) resulting after oil extraction through three different methods (i.e., cold stirring (ST), ultrasound-assisted extraction (US), and microwave-assisted extraction (MW)) from two grape varieties (i.e., Fetească Regală and Merlot) grown under organic farming conditions. The phenolic profile was determined using High-performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection and mass spectrometry operating in electrospray ionization positive mode, while the total phenolic content was determined using an adapted Folin-Ciocalteu technique, The samples' antioxidant properties were determined using 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and 2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) radical scavenging ability assessments, as well as Cupric ion reducing antioxidant capacity and Ferric reducing antioxidant power assays. The pancreatic tumor microenvironment drives deregulated nutrient availability. Accordingly, pancreatic cancer cells require metabolic adaptations to survive and proliferate. Pancreatic cancer subtypes have been characterized by transcriptional and functional differences, with subtypes reported to exist within the same tumor. However, it remains unclear if this diversity extends to metabolic programming. Here, using metabolomic profiling and functional interrogation of metabolic dependencies, we identify two distinct metabolic subclasses among neoplastic populations within individual human and mouse tumors. Furthermore, these populations are poised for metabolic cross-talk, and in examining this, we find an unexpected role for asparagine supporting proliferation during limited respiration. Constitutive GCN2 activation permits ATF4 signaling in one subtype, driving excess asparagine production. Asparagine release provides resistance during impaired respiration, enabling symbiosis. Functionally, availability of exogenous asparagine during limited respiration indirectly supports maintenance of aspartate pools, a rate-limiting biosynthetic precursor. Conversely, depletion of extracellular asparagine with PEG-asparaginase sensitizes tumors to mitochondrial targeting with phenformin.

ObjectivesPeople with HIV (PWH) are at increased risk for premature cardiovascular disease (CVD). Clonal hematopoiesis is a common age-related condition that may be associated with increased CVD risk. The goal of this study was to determine the prevalence of clonal hematopoiesis and its association with chronic inflammation and CVD in PWH.DesignCross-sectional study utilizing archived specimens and data from 118 men (86 PWH and 32 HIV-uninfected) from the Baltimore-Washington DC center of the Multicenter AIDS Cohort Study (MACS) who had had coronary computed tomography angiography (CTA) and measurement of 34 serologic inflammatory biomarkers.MethodsClonal hematopoiesis was assessed on peripheral blood mononuclear cells utilizing targeted error-corrected next generation sequencing (NGS) focused on 92 genes frequently mutated in hematologic malignancies. Clinical and laboratory data were obtained from the MACS database.ResultsClonal hematopoiesis with a variant allele frequency (VAF) greater than 1% was significantly more common in PWH [20/86 (23.3%)] than in HIV-uninfected men [2/32 (6.3%)] ( P  = 0.035). PWH with clonal hematopoiesis (VAF > 1%) were more likely to have coronary artery stenosis of at least 50% than those without clonal hematopoiesis [6/20 (30%) vs. 6/64 (9%); P  = 0.021]. Presence of clonal hematopoiesis was not significantly associated with serological inflammatory markers, except for significantly lower serum leptin levels; this was not significant after adjustment for abdominal or thigh subcutaneous fat area.ConclusionClonal hematopoiesis was more common in PWH and among PWH was associated with the extent of coronary artery disease. Larger studies are needed to further examine the biological and clinical consequences of clonal hematopoiesis in PWH.

Abstract We find that NUPR1, a stress-associated intrinsically disordered protein, induced droplet formation via liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS). NUPR1-driven LLPS was crucial for the creation of NUPR1-dependent stress granules (SGs) in pancreatic cancer cells since genetic or pharmacological inhibition by ZZW-115 of NUPR1 activity impeded SGs formation. The KrasG12D mutation induced oncogenic stress, NUPR1 overexpression, and promoted SGs development. Notably, enforced NUPR1 expression induced SGs formation independently of mutated KrasG12D. Mechanistically, KrasG12D expression strengthened sensitivity to NUPR1 inactivation, inducing cell death, activating caspase 3 and releasing LDH. Remarkably, ZZW-115-mediated SG-formation inhibition hampered the development of pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PanINs) in Pdx1-cre;LSL-Kras G12D (KC) mice. ZZW-115-treatment of KC mice triggered caspase 3 activation, DNA fragmentation, and formation of the apoptotic bodies, leading to cell death, specifically in KrasG12D-expressing cells. We further demonstrated that, in developed PanINs, short-term ZZW-115 treatment prevented NUPR1-associated SGs presence. Lastly, a four-week ZZW-115 treatment significantly reduced the number and size of PanINs in KC mice. This study proposes that targeting NUPR1-dependent SGs formation could be a therapeutic approach to induce cell death in KrasG12D-dependent tumors.
