The purpose of the article is to develop a model for interaction between industry higher educational institutions and the customer of educational services in order to increase the human potential in the industry. The article deals with the specifics of relations between the transport higher educational institutions and the company. To assess the quality of relations, the resource exchange model is suggested for use. The article formulates principles of interaction between the parties and indicators that can be used to assess the quality of the resources exchange. A model for interaction between the company’s bus iness units and higher educational institutions was proposed. The relations between the horizontal-structured corporation and educational institutions were modeled; the mathematical apparatus was selected to describe the contacts, indicators of satisfaction with the resources and the resultant indicator (satisfaction with the interaction) were proposed. The model will help to determine quantitative characteristics of the achieved contacts. Their introduction will make it possible to assess the original state of the contacts and proceed to functional design. Introduction of the concept of satisfaction with the resources and interaction in its individual lines will allow identifying the reserves to build on in order to optimize the contacts. The purpose of the modeling is to expand contacts between the higher educational institution and enterprises in the industry, to involve employees in innovation activities, to improve skills of the higher educational institution graduates in response to the needs of the industry. This article only looks at the interaction between industry higher educational institutions and business units of RZD OJSC, whereas recent years brought contacts between the university and many transport organizations that have specifics of market interactions described in the stakeholder theory.

A relevant problem of scientific research is formalization of the processes of interaction between transportation systems and the region in the context of modern ideas of synergetic approach. The purpose of this article is to develop a methodology for assessing and forecasting the needs of a region for container transport system development. The methodology includes two elements. First is the model for forecasting region's demand for container transportation based on the methods of correlation-regression analysis, index prediction and the Monte Carlo method. Second is the imitation model for assessing the needs of the region in the technical and organizational development of the container system. Organizational development is achieved due to system integration of market players, coordinated management of container flows, which makes it possible to establish the synergistic effect availability.

Introduction: The problems of controlling inflammatory and proliferative response of the retina and correcting tear production in the post-operative period after photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) have not been fully solved yet. Patients intolerable to local steroids require an alternative. One drug that covers those needs is Cyclosporine 0.05%., Purpose: To analyze clinical effectiveness of Restasis eye drops in solving inflammatory-degenerative response and tear production insufficiency (dry eye syndrome) for post-PRK patients with steroid eye drops intolerance accompanied with increasing intraocular pressure (IOP)., Patients and Methods: Retrospective analysis of 14 myopic patients (28 eyes) was conducted; mean patient age was 25.9±6 years; myopia was (-)5.65±1.5 Diopters of spherical equivalent (SE); corneal-compensated IOP was 16.98±3.68 mm Hg before the surgery. All patients underwent excimer laser correction (PRK or Trans-PRK) with Schwind Amaris (SCHWIND eye-tech-solutions). After epithelization, all patients were prescribed 0.1% Dexamethasone solution 4 times a day (with decreasing dosing frequency) for 2 months, as well as local lubricants. The article also describes a separate clinical case of subepithelial fibroplasia that occurred post-PRK and was successfully stopped., Results: All patients had transitory IOP increase caused by local steroid therapy. Mean IOP at 1-month post-op was 20.5±7 mm Hg. At that point local steroids were replaced with 'Restasis' 0.05% (Cyclosporine) eye drops prescribed 2 times per day for 2 months. As the result, IOP values decreased to 16.2±3.21 mm Hg (without any additional therapy); at 6 months mean uncorrected visual acuity reached 0.98±0.05, best corrected visual acuity achieved 1.03±0.06 and SE was 0.04±0.12 Diopters., Conclusion: Local Cyclosporine ('Restasis') is the method of choice for regulation of inflammatory and degenerative response and tear production insufficiency (dry eye syndrome) for post-PRK patients with intolerance to steroid eye drops.
