本稿は，副詞「まるで」が共起する述語の構文的特徴および意味的特徴について述べたものである。比況用法の「まるで」は，基本的に，「ようだ」「みたいだ」のような比況を表す形式を伴う語と共起し，非比況用法の「まるで」は，構文的には五つのタイプ，意味的には四つのタイプの述語と共起するということを述べた。そして，これらの述語の間には，構文的にも意味的にも連続性が見られるということを示した。また，明治期の「まるで」との比較も行い，現代の「まるで」は典型的な動作を表す動作動詞の否定形式とは共起しにくくなっているなど，「まるで」が共起する述語には一定の制限が出てきているということを指摘した。

The purpose of this paper is to explore the requirements of Japanese language teacher training programs for non-native speakers of Japanese through the investigation of non-native Japanese teachers. Firstly, we carried out an overview of previous research regarding the beliefs for roles and skills/competences of non-native Japanese language teachers. Then, we conducted semi-structured interviews with three Japanese teachers who are teaching in universities overseas. In those interviews, there are four questions regarding beliefs of Japanese language teaching, their own experiences regarding Japanese study and training for Japanese teachers and their needs for training. The data was analyzed by “qualitative content analysis ”. The following results were obtained: We found that the advantages of non-native teachers is their experience of studying Japanese and using the mother language of their learners for confirming and promoting learning. We also found that difficulties for non-native teachers include explanations of synonyms and language use, teaching listening and conversation classes, obtaining the latest information about Japan or Japanese language education and maintaining own Japanese language skills. The results regarding the advantages are consistent with previous research. Although the results regarding their difficulties basically confirm with previous research, it is clear that there are specific points and classes with which they have difficulties. Also, it was found that all of the participants are focusing on how to teach Japanese and they need training for that. In conclusion, we can say that we should include sessions on teaching approaches and methods in training programs, focusing on specific classes or items that present difficulties for non-native teachers.

This paper investigates how adverbs in elementary Japanese textbooks are currently introduced from the following perspectives; i）what types of adverbs are introduced and ii）how the adverbs are treated when they are introduced. In comparison with the results of a previous study by Ozeki 1993, this paper shows that the adverbs introduced in current elementary Japanese textbooks have the following features. Firstly, I classified all the adverbs in the textbooks into three types: modal adverbs, adverbs of degree and adverbs of manner, and discovered that there are certain tendencies, as shown below. i. The adverbs of manner commonly introduced have increased. ii. taihen used to be the most popular adverb of degree, but now this tendency has changed and we see, sukoshi, chotto and totemo have occupied this position in current elementary textbooks. iii. Modal adverbs that are likely to be introduced in elementary Japanese textbooks are those associated with particular predicates such as amari/zenzen/nakanaka/sonnani ~nai, tabun ~daroo, moshi ~tara and zehi ~tai.Secondly, I pointed out the following features regarding the forms of the adverbs. i. Adverbs like sorosoro are often introduced with co-occurring phrases which are used with the adverb. (e.g. sorosoro shitsureishimasu) ii. Some adverbs that were derived from adjectives like sugoku tend not to be treated as adverbs in many textbooks. iii. The adverbs derived from nouns and particles like saigoni, sakini and minnade are treated differently among textbooks. iv. The treatment of colloquial adverbs like anmari and tottemo diverges among textbooks

上級日本語学習者は文章作成などの産出レベルにおいてさまざまな文法上の問題点を抱えている。本稿は、彼らが文法の誤りを自己訂正できるようなモニタリング力を養成するための教材を作成することを最終目標に置いた基礎研究である。上級学習者の産出物である修士論文の草稿を取り上げ、その中に見られる文法的な誤用を、文法カテゴリおよび誤用の種類に基づいて精査した。今回の調査で見られた誤用の90％以上が旧日本語能力試験3 級以下の文法項目であったことからも確認できるように、上級学習者の誤用の大半は初級の文法項目である。それらの誤用の一部は、初級から上級に至るプロセスの中で指導が行われていない、もしくは指導が不十分であることに起因すると考えられる。

白岩ほか（2011）、朴ほか（2013）で分析したように、ブラジルとボリビアの沖縄系移民社会では、2世において、現地語へのモノリンガル化が進むか否かの違いが見られる。今回さらに分析を進めた結果、1世成人移民の移住当初の言語使用においては、2つのコミュニティ間の違いがほとんどないにも関わらず、2世の言語生活史を見ると、就学以前の家庭内と友人との言語使用において、現地語中心か日本語中心かの違いが顕著に現れていることが明らかになった。この違いは、生活戦術の違い、そしてそれに関係する日本語学習歴の違いと深く関わっていると思われる。

本稿では、白岩ほか（2011）に引き続き、ブラジルとボリビアの沖縄系エスニックコミュニティにおける言語生活調査結果の分析を行った。3 世でも日本語が保持されているボリビアに対し、ブラジルでは、2世においてポルトガル語へのモノリンガル化が進んでいる。しかし、ブラジルでは、日本語の継承意識だけでなく、沖縄方言の継承意識も強く、「沖縄系日系人としてのアイデンティティ」を重視している。

永住を目的とした戦後移住者を主な構成メンバーとする二つの沖縄系エスニックコミュニティ－ブラジルの都市エスニックコミュニティとボリビアの農村エスニックコミュニティ－を対象に言語生活調査を実施し、前者ではポルトガル語へのモノリンガル化が急速に進んでおり、後者では日本語が保持されるバイリンガルな状況にあることが多面的な調査項目から明らかになった。このような言語面での差異がどのような条件の違いに起因するのかは今後の詳細な分析を待たなければならないものの、2 世に日本国籍を取得させることなく、都市部における自営業や技術・事務系職業によってブラジル日系人としての経済的社会的上昇を企図しているか、2世に日本・ボリビアの二重国籍を取得させつつ、ボリビア人を雇った大規模農業により経済的上昇を企図するか、といった両者が採用している生活戦術の違いと大きく相関していると現時点では解釈することができる。
