1. Trust Management Approach for Detection of Malicious Devices in SIoT

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is an innovative era of interrelated devices to provide services to other devices or users. In Social Internet of Thing (SIoT), social networking aspect is used for building relationships between devices. For providing or utilizing services, devices need to trust each other in complex and heterogeneous environments. Separating benign and malicious devices in SIoT is a prime security objective. In literature, several works proposed trust computation models based on trust features. But these models fail to identify malicious devices. This paper focuses on detection of malicious devices. In this paper, basic fundamentals, properties, models and attacks of trust in SIoT are discussed. Up-to-date research distributions on trust management and trust attacks are reviewed and idea of Trust Management using Machine Learning Algorithm (TM-MLA) is proposed for identification of malicious devices.

Abstract

Data growth in today’s world is exponential, many applications generate huge amount of data streams at very high speed such as smart grids, sensor networks, video surveillance, financial systems, medical science data, web click streams, network data, etc. In the case of traditional data mining, the data set is generally static in nature and available many times for processing and analysis. However, data stream mining has to satisfy constraints related to real-time response, bounded and limited memory, single-pass, and concept-drift detection. The main problem is identifying the hidden pattern and knowledge for understanding the context for identifying trends from continuous data streams. In this paper, various data stream methods and algorithms are reviewed and evaluated on standard synthetic data streams and real-life data streams. Density-micro clustering and density-grid-based clustering algorithms are discussed and comparative analysis in terms of various internal and external clustering evaluation methods is performed. It was observed that a single algorithm cannot satisfy all the performance measures. The performance of these data stream clustering algorithms is domain-specific and requires many parameters for density and noise thresholds.

When new virus and its respective disease cause more infections, it is very important to decide the strategies to control the spread and determine its impact. Considering the recent example of Coronavirus initially identified in Wuhan China has now targeted Italy badly, It is very important to study different forecasting models to control this pandemic. In the view of this, this study present the comparative analysis of various forecasting models, their classification and the techniques used. The detail analysis of forecasting models with respect to the parameters like data source, techniques, algorithms, mathematical parameters is also presented in this study. In the sequel, this study also presents useful recommendations to help government and healthcare community in designing better strategies and in taking productive decisions to control this outbreak.

Abstract

Ubiquitous networking is an integrated part of future networking technology that can provide capabilities for connecting all of objects (computers, human, PDAs, cell phones etc.) in future network. It has to meet the challenge of seamless connection for communication between human and objects in internet infrastructure. Unique object identification is very much important to make the communication between objects possible. RFID tag can be used as unique identifier to identify a physical object. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a technology used for object identification of system. Internet Protocol (IP) address is used to provide logical identity to find the location of object for communication. In this paper, IP based RFID architecture for unique identification and tracking of object by considering mobility is proposed. RFID Agent (RA) is used to generate IP address based on RFID tags. In proposed solution, RFID-IP mapping is used to identify and track the location of object as RFID Tag ID can be used to generate unique identifier and IP can be used to find the location. RFID deployment is cost effective and IP is being used as current internet structure. In this way RFID-IP mapping provides better solution for object identification in ubiquitous networking environment.
