Straipsnyje nagrinėjama Lietuvos bendrojo lavinimo mokyklos papildomojo ugdymo kokybiško organizavimo problema. Tyrimo medžiaga siekiama informuoti švietimo proceso dalyvius, žadinti jų norą analizuoti, vertinti, inicijuoti konstruktyvius papildomojo ugdymo pokyčius. Bendrojo lavinimo mokykloje siūloma diegti papildomojo ugdymo stebėseną, kuri leistų stebėti išorės pokyčius ir analizuoti jų įtaką mokyklos vidaus veiklai; tikslingai telkti materialinius ir intelektinius išteklius; atsižvelgiant į grįžtamąją informaciją sistemingai keisti veiklą, t. y. reguliariai vertinti papildomojo ugdymo veiklos rezultatus In the article, the problem of qualitative organization of complementary education of comprehensive schools is analyzed. With the help of the study material the author tries to provide information for the participants of the education process, to encourage their initiative and desire to analyze, evaluate, improve, and incite constructive changes in complementary education. Supervision of complementary education should be implemented at comprehensive schools; it would allow systematical evaluation of results of complementary education activity; supervise changes in the external environment and analyze the influence on the internal activity of school (on changes); evaluate the expediency of material and intellectual resources concentration; assure the mechanism of playback and systematic activity, i.e. regular evaluation of the results of complementary education.

Straipsnyje aptariama neformaliojo ugdymo ir formaliojo švietimo sintezė. Aiškintasi, kas sąlygoja neformaliojo ugdymo mokyklų veiksmingumą ir kokios pagrindinės jo organizavimo nesėkmių priežastys. Remiantis literatūros analize, atliktu tyrimu, siekiama pagrįsti, kad neformaliojo ugdymo metodais galima keisti ugdymo institucijų kultūrą, gerinti vaikų savijautą jose bei siekti sėkmingesnio formaliojo ugdymo turinio supratimo, daromos išvados apie stipriąsias ir silpnąsias neformaliojo ugdymo vietas. Tyrime dalyvavo 403 bendrojo ugdymo mokyklų vadovai ir 500 VII-IX klasių mokinių. Tyrimo rezultatai leidžia teigti, kad vaikų neformalusis ugdymas išlieka aktuali teorinė ir praktinė problema. Nurodoma, kad naujoji Švietimo įstatymo redakcija sudaro sąlygas neformaliojo ugdymo sistemos reformai. Neformaliojo ir formaliojo švietimo sintezė harmonizuoja visą švietimo sistemą. Tyrimo metu nustatyti neformaliojo ugdymo sėkmingą realizavimą nulemiantys veiksniai: mokinių poreikiai, materialinė bazė, neformaliajam ugdymui skirtų valandų skaičius, specialistai. Mokiniai vangiai renkasi siūlomus mokykloje užsiėmimus, nurodydami, kad užsiėmimai mokykloje po pamokų jiems neįdomūs. Iš duomenų analizės matyti, kad populiariausias mokinių užsiėmimas kiekvieną dieną yra TV žiūrėjimas, susitikimai su draugais kieme ar kitur, kompiuterinių žaidimų žaidimas. Dauguma ugdymo vadovų pritaria "neformaliojo ugdymo krepšelio įvedimui". The article discusses the synthesis of non-formal education and formal education. It elucidates what the effectiveness of schools of non-formal education is determined by and what the main reasons for the failure of its organization are. On the grounds of literature analysis and accomplished study, the attempt to judge that methods of non-formal educational can change the culture of educational institutions, improve well-being of children there and help to achieve more successful understanding of formal curriculum was made, the conclusions are drawn about strong and weak places of informal education. The study included 403 head teachers from comprehension schools and 500 school children from VII-IX forms. The results of study suggest that non-formal education of children remains a relevant theoretical and practical problem. It is noted that a new version of the Education Act allows the reform of non-formal education system. Synthesis of non-formal and formal education harmonizes the entire educational system. During the study the factors which determine a successful implementation of non-formal education were identified: needs of pupils, material base, number of hours intended for non-formal education, professionals. The pupils choose proposed activities at school slackly, they point out that they are not interested in after school activities. The data analysis shows that the most popular activity of pupil every day is to watch TV, to meet friends in the yard or elsewhere and to play computer games. Most education heads agree on "the introduction of non-formal education basket."

The paper deals with the theoretical analysis of the additional education purposes, requirements and functions. Extraordinary requirements, spare-time entertainment, meeting the requirements out-of-school activity also the problems of this special training and the assumptions or efficiency are considered in the empirical part. The paper hypothesizes that parent’s expectations about special needs education and social needs not always reflect real situation at special requirements school. It is important to note that the interrogatory by filling in the form is also under the consideration with its purpose to investigate the abilities of supplying the special needs. The fact- finding is also made and shown in statistics (descriptive frequency, the average etc.).

XX a. pabaigoje Lietuvoje kurta ugdymo diferencijavimu, integravimu besiremianti švietimo sistema, remiantis Lietuvos švietimo koncepcijos (1992) nuostatais ir Bendrųjų programų (1997) reikalavimais. Tada laikytasi vieno – perimamumo principo, nenutrūkstamo ryšio ne tik tarp atskirų ugdymo grandžių, bet ir tarp ugdymo sričių. Švietimo, kaip socialinės institucijos, misija – puoselėti visuomenę, kaip puikiai koordinuotą visumą, saugančią ir plėtojančią savo kultūrą. Papildomasis ugdymas – sudėtinė ugdymo proceso dalis, turi įtakos asmenybės formavimuisi, todėl ypač svarbi jo kokybė, kuri ir lemia rezultatus. Parengti valstybės strateginiai dokumentai bendrojo lavinimo mokyklų papildomojo ugdymo proceso kokybės nereglamentavo. Tai palikta bendrojo lavinimo mokyklų bendruomenių nuožiūrai. Šiame straipsnyje pateikiami papildomojo ugdymo tyrimų rezultatai, kuriais siekiama pristatyti XX a. pabaigoje Lietuvoje reformuotą papildomąjį ugdymą, apibrėžti kai kurias jo raidos kryptis, apibūdinti reikšmę švietimo sistemoje. At the end of the 20th century the development of educational system in Lithuania was based on differentiation and integration. A foundation for the development of such a system was provided by the Regulations of Lithuanian Education Conception (1992) and General Syllabus Requirements (1997). In those days one of the principles – the principle of continuity – was applied not only to different sectors of education but to different fields of education as well. The mission of the education as a social institution was to help to maintain the society in the form of a well-coordinated entity that preserved and developed its culture and potential. Complementary education was a constituent part of the educational process that influenced the development of a personality therefore its quality was very important for producing the results. The quality of the process of complementary education at secondary schools was not regulated by the existing national strategic documents. Responsibility for that was delegated to secondary school communities. This article introduces some researches that help to reflect the situation of complementary education in Lithuania at the end of the 20th century, to reveal tendencies for its development and to underline its importance in the educational system.

Straipsnyje nagrinėjamas sutrikusio intelekto 8–10 klasių moksleivių požiūris į papildomąjį ugdymą mokykloje. Atlikta 150 respondentų anoniminė apklausa, pateikiant 11 atviro tipo klausimų. Domėtasi, kaip mokiniai vertina mokyklos dienos režimą, ar dalyvauja popamokinėje veikloje; susipažinta su respondentų pomėgiais, jų veikla laisvalaikiu; požiūriu į bendravimą, siekiais, siūlymais ir pageidavimais. Tyrimo duomenų analizė atskleidė teigiamą ugdytinių požiūrį į mokyklą, kurį jie papildė neigiamo vertinimo motyvais. Moksleivių pomėgiai dažniausiai susiję su pramoginio pobūdžio veikla. Išryškėja nepakankamas respondentų sąlytis su kultūros vertybėmis, o tai turi neigiamą įtaką intelektinei ir dvasinei ugdytinių patirčiai. Sutrikusio intelekto moksleiviai nepakankamai dėmesio skiria aktyviam poilsiui, intelektualiai veiklai. Pasyvus laisvalaikis sąlygoja nepakankamą asmenybės tobulėjimą. Svarbus specialiųjų mokyklų uždavinys – mokyti bendrauti. Tyrimas rodo, kad paaugliai mėgsta bendrauti, rodo iniciatyvą dalyvaudami sporto renginiuose, būrelių veikloje ir organizuodami mokyklos šventes. Popamokinių renginių vertinimo įvairovę sąlygoja ugdytinių amžiaus skirtumas, jų individualybė, aplinka. Tyrimo duomenys išryškino teigiamą mokinių požiūrį į jiems reikšmingą veiklą ir su ja susijusius pageidavimus. Mokykla padeda ugdytiniams perimti ir įvaldyti dvasines vertybes, realizuoti pomėgius, tenkinti poreikius ir interesus. The article deals with the attitude of 8-10 grade students with intellectual disabilities to supplementary school education. An anonymous survey of 150 respondents was conducted, with 11 open questions. They were interested in how students rate the day’s school regime or participate in extra-curricular activities; get acquainted with the interests of the respondents, their leisure activities; attitude towards communication, aspirations, suggestions and wishes. An analysis of the survey data revealed a positive attitude towards the school by the students, which they added to the motives of the negative assessment. Students’ hobbies are usually related to entertainment activities. The lack of exposure of respondents to cultural values appears to have a negative impact on the intellectual and spiritual experiences of learners. Students with intellectual disabilities do not pay enough attention to active rest, intellectual activity. Passive leisure causes inadequate development of personality. An important task of special schools is to teach communication. The study suggests that teenagers love to interact, show initiative in sporting events, club activities and organising school holidays. The variety of assessment of post-graduate events is determined by the difference in the age of the learners, their individuality, and the environment. The findings of the study highlighted the positive attitude of students towards their significant activities and the related wishes. The school helps learners to take over and master spiritual values, realise hobbies, and meet their needs and interests.

Straipsnyje analizuojami vaikų laisvalaikio poreikiai, jų užimtumo dinamika, socialinio pedagogo galimybės gerinti vaikų laisvalaikio kultūrą, popamokinių renginių kokybė moksleivių požiūriu ir mokyklos galimybės organizuoti kokybiškus laisvalaikio užsiėmimus, atitinkančius vaikų poreikius. Extracurricular education is an important factor influencing early self-expression of children and youth as well as formation of future life skills. A social educator who knows children’s leisure needs, possibilities of their realization and the variety of possible choices can model children’s pastime more efficiently and professionally. A practical objective of general and extracurricular education is provision of equal opportunities for children’s personal development. Despite this fact, today’s research still shows educational institutions unable to fulfil schoolchildren’s preoccupation needs. A social educator’s ability to arrange child pastime depends on the institutional principal’s attitude towards the issue of children’s leisure preoccupation. An overview of all the above-mentioned conclusions is an indication that children’s leisure preoccupation and extracurricular education are social spheres significant enough to begin receiving more attention through correction of the extracurricular education system, and social educators can play significant roles here.
