Introduction: Nursing students frequently encounter the challenge of balancing their studies with the demanding requirements of hands-on practice and this can greatly affect their mental wellbeing. This study aimed to investigate the impact of sleep and psychological well-being on the academic and clinical performance of nursing students in Saudi Arabia. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional approach with 218 student nurses selected through convenience sampling from King Khalid University, Abha, Saudi Arabia. The sleep quality, psychological wellbeing, academic performance and clinical performance questionnaires were adopted to measure the variables. The Google Forms survey was used to gather the data, which were collected in August through October 2023. t-test and chi-square were used to analyze the data. Results: The sleep quality was higher with good/very good performers (p < 0.001). There was a significant difference with academic performance on positive relations (p < 0.007) and purpose in life (p < 0.004). Additionally, there was a significant difference in autonomy (p < 0.01), environmental mastery (p < 0.026), positive relations (p < 0.001), and purpose in life (p < 0.001) with clinical performance. Among students with good academic performance, those who were older than 25 years of age (p < 0.043) and level 3 students (p < 0.001) were found to have a significant correlation. Furthermore, those who were 25 years of age (p < 0.012) and level 3 students (p < 0.001) were also found to have a significant correlation with clinical performance. Conclusion: The sleep quality, positive relations, purpose in life, autonomy, and environmental mastery are all important factors for academic and clinical success. Moreover, older students and level 3 students may be more likely to have the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in these areas. It has been estimated that future generations may live shorter due to a rise in chronic diseases such as lower respiratory disease, obesity, cancer, cardiovascular disease (CVD), diabetes, and stroke. This research aims to determine the emergence of the primary chronic disease and its determinants specifically in Hail region, Saudi Arabia. The researchers employed retrospective-correlational approach conducted at the government subsidized hospitals. Data were collected from year 2017-2021. Results showed that the top five chronic diseases in the Hail region includes; diabetes mellitus (DM), pneumonia, hypertension, chronic obstructive diseases (COPD), and cardiovascular diseases. The age (t= -0.8748; p < 0.001), the civil status (t= 2.3123; P> 0.000), and gender (t= 2.5121; p> 0.000) have significant association to chronic diseases. The result of the current study implicates that addressing the variables that put individuals at risk for developing chronic diseases requires the participation of diverse sectors. Introduction: Prevention of emerging diseases has emerged as one of the leading objectives of primary health care institutions globally, and nurses are the front-liners in such endeavours. This study aimed to investigate the factors affecting the approaches of primary healthcare nurses in preventing emerging chronic diseases in the Hail region, Saudi Arabia. Methods: This research employed a descriptive cross-sectional approach. The participants in this study were 214 primary healthcare nurses. Data collection was conducted between November 2022 and December 2022. Results: The number of years of experience (F =0.132; P = 0.007), the number of training sessions attended (F = 1.562; P = 0.003), and the average number of patients per day (F = 0.132; P = 0.004) were found to have a significant difference with the preventive approach to emerging chronic disease. Conversely, the number of years of hospital experience (B =.091; P = 0.003), the number of patients per day (B =0.018; P = 0.004), and the number of training courses attended within a year (B = 0.098; P = 0.003) affect the approaches of primary healthcare nurses. Age and gender were found to have no significant relationship with the preventive approaches. Conclusion: The years of experience, the number of training sessions attended, and the average number of patients per day were found to make a significant difference in the preventive approach to emerging chronic diseases. Of note, the number of years of hospital experience, the number of patients per day, and the number of training courses attended within a year affect the approaches of primary healthcare nurses. This study has shown that primary healthcare nurses' training experiences and clinical exposure substantially impact measures to prevent emerging chronic diseases. Background: This study investigates the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) concerning reproductive health (RH) and sexuality among in- and out-of-school adolescents in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Philippines. Methods: Using a quantitative, cross-sectional approach, this study examined 739 in- and out-of-school adolescents who were recruited through snowball and simple random sampling. Results: Statistically significant differences were noted in the knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding sexuality based on age. Age was associated with knowledge, attitudes, and practices concerning RH. Educational attainment toward sexuality also caused statistically significant changes in knowledge, attitudes, and practices. The KAP regarding sexuality and sex only showed statistically significant differences in attitudes and RH and sex to attitudes. Schooling produced statistically significant differences in knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding sexuality; for RH, statistically significant differences were found only in knowledge and attitudes. Conclusion: The results can inform educational campaign development, which can be used when devising appropriate behavioral change materials suitable for and responsive to the needs and demands of the CAR adolescents. Objective: Across the Middle Eastern countries, there is a lack of studies exploring the connection between the quality of life (QoL) and academic resilience of nursing students. This study determines the association between nursing students' profile variables and their QoL and academic resilience (AR)., Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional design with structural equation modeling (SEM) was adopted. This study was conducted at the College of Nursing at the University of Ha'il, KSA. Survey questionnaires using the 12-item Brunnsviken Brief Quality of Life Scale (BBQ) and 30-item Academic Resilience Scale (ARS-30) were utilised to collect data from nursing students (n = 384). SEM via latent variable analysis ( lavaan ) software version 0.6-7 was used for statistical derivation and analysis., Results: SEM revealed no correlation with QoL and AR when compared using the participants' profile variables (gender, year level, and enrolled units). There was a correlation between the grade point average (GPA) and QoL. However, no association was found between QoL and AR., Conclusion: GPA exhibited a positive correlation with QoL; thus, nursing students with higher GPA have a more stable and desirable QoL.
