Introduction: This study, conducted in China prior to RotaTeq's launch, examined the epidemiological, molecular, and evolutionary features of the G1P[8] genotype RVA in children admitted with diarrhea, to aid in evaluating its efficacy and impact on G1P[8] RVA in China. Methods: Data from the Chinese viral diarrhea surveillance network were collected from January 2016 to December 2018. RVA strains identified as the G1P[8] genotype were subjected to whole-genome sequencing. Neutralizing epitope, amino acid selection pressure, and evolution dynamics analyses on VP7 and VP4 were performed using BioEdit v.7.0.9.0 and PyMOL v.2.5.2, four algorithms (MEME, SLAC, FEL, and FUBAR) in the Datamonkey online software, and the MCMC model in BEAST v. 1.10.4, respectively. Phylogenetic and identity features of 11 genes were assessed by DNAStar and MEGA v.7. Results: Results showed that the detection rate of G1P[8] in China from 2016 to 2018 was generally low with significant seasonality. The whole genome of G1P[8] of four 2016 childhood diarrhea specimens was successfully sequenced. Phylogenetic and neutralizing epitope analysis showed that Rotavin-M1 might have better protection on G1P[8] prevalent in China than Rotarix and RotaTeq. Two conserved N-glycosylation sites on VP7 of Chinese G1P[8] might affect the protective effect of the vaccine. Evolution rate and selection pressure analysis identified the possibility of rapidly evolving and adapting to the new environment introduced by vaccines of G1P[8], whereas positive selection specific to VP4 indicated the potential tendency to select for dominant traits. Identity and phylogeny analysis showed that Chinese G1P[8] from before 2018 was generally stable with possible genetic recombination among local strains. Discussion: These findings not only are of great significance for predicting the prevalence of G1P [8] in China, but also provide data reference for evaluating rotavirus vaccine efficacy. Human rotavirus A (RVA) causes acute gastroenteritis in infants and young children. The LLR RVA vaccine, which licensed in 2000 and widely used in China, significantly reduced rotavirus disease burden in China. With the changing of RV circulating strains and the emergence of new genotypes, the LLR vaccine against RVGE needed to be upgraded. In this study, we aimed to establish an RG system for the RVA vaccine strain LLR (G10P[15]). Transfection with plasmids expressing 11 genomic RNA segments of LLR along with the pCMV/868CP helper plasmid, resulted in rescue of the infectious virus with an artificially introduced genetic marker on its genome, indicating that an RG system for the LLR strain was successfully established. Furthermore, the plasmid‐based reverse genetics system was used to generate lamb RVA reassortants with VP4 or VP7 genes derived from human RVA strains in China, which were not previously adapted to cell culture. We were able to rescue the six VP7 (G1, G2, G3, G4, G8, and G9) mono‐reassortants, but no VP4 (P[4] or P[8]) mono‐reassortant was rescued. The six VP7 reassortants covered all G‐genotypes currently circulating in China and stably replicated in MA104 cells, which should be exploited as the next‐generation rotavirus vaccines candidates in China. Accurate measurement of suspended particle concentration in pipelines is essential for analyzing the fluid mixing density and particle settlement. However, measuring concentration distributions along the flow path poses significant challenges due to the inherent complexity and variability of liquid–solid two-phase suspensions. In this study, we developed a sensor measurement system based on multi-frequency acoustic emission technology and a self-receiving single probe. The effects of suspended particle size, concentration, and ultrasonic transducer dimensions on acoustic wave propagation were analyzed using the COMSOL Multiphysics system. For multi-frequency echo signals, variational mode decomposition and the sparrow search algorithm were employed to decompose and optimize the signal, followed by reconstruction using the Pearson correlation coefficient. By combining the energy ratio method with the minimum concentration difference method, we propose a new approach for simultaneous measurement of particle size and concentration along the pipeline transmission path. Experimental results indicate that along the transmission path, the mean absolute percentage error is 18.74%, and 77.55% of the predicted results exhibit relative errors below 20%. In the urban canyon environment, the integer ambiguity is hard to be fixed completely mainly because of the multipath effects, hence partial ambiguity resolution (PAR) is developed. This paper systematically introduces a new model-driven PAR method considering elevation and C/N0. Firstly, the theory of partial ambiguity resolution, the elevation-C/N0 function, and the proposed elevation-C/N0 PAR method are deduced in detail. Secondly, the proposed elevation-C/N0 method is applied in the static and dynamic experiments. The performances of the proposed method are compared with the full ambiguity resolution method, traditional elevation-dependent method, and C/N0-dependent method. Comparisons indicate that the proposed elevation-C/N0 method outperforms other methods. The results show that no matter in the urban static experiment or the dynamic experiment, the ambiguity resolution and positioning solutions can be improved. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to determine whether ESWT (extracorporeal shock wave therapy) affects ONFH (osteonecrosis of femoral head) in clinical outcomes and radiography outcomes. Two authors independently search the papers on the treatment of femoral head necrosis with extracorporeal shock wave in CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure), VIP (China Science and Technology Journal Database), CSPD (China Science Periodical Database), Pubmed, Embase, and Springer databases. Search period from the inception dates to 2 June 2020 and have no limitations in language; two authors independently conducted a quality evaluation and data extraction for included studies and performed a meta-analysis with data extracted and calculate by using RevMan5. Registration number: CRD42020213580. Nine articles with 409 patients are included in this meta-analysis. The pooled results of HHS (Harris hip score) in eight studies with 337 hips show that ESWT achieves higher Harris scores compared to before treatment (MD = −19.95; 95% CI: −26.27, −13.64) and the difference is statistically significant (p < 0.01). The pooled results of VAS (visual analogue score) in seven studies with 253 hips show that ESWT achieves lower VAS compared to baseline (MD = 2.77; 95% CI: 1.88, 3.65) and the difference is statistically significant (p < 0.01). The pooled results of lesion of MRI with 164 hips show that ESWT decreases the lesion area of MRI (SMD = 1.03; CI: 0.75,1.30) and the difference is statistically significant (p < 0.01). ESWT has an effect on pain relief and has a limited effect on motion function. Its effect may be better than surgical groups (core decompression and core decompression with bone grafting). But it cannot decrease the lesion area of the femoral head on MRI and stop disease progression. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
