5. Thiadiazole-based 3D covalent organic framework for efficient anhydrous proton conduction.

Abstract

The design and synthesis of three-dimensional (3D) covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with exceptional stability and high proton conductivity are critical for advancing high-temperature fuel cells but remain significantly challenging. In this study, thiadiazole groups were successfully incorporated into a novel 3D COF featuring a five-fold interpenetrated diamond network through a bottom-up self-assembly strategy. The proton conduction of the thiadiazole-based 3D COF (NUST-28) under anhydrous conditions reached up to 8.40 × 10−2 S cm−1 at 120 °C after phosphoric acid doping. Furthermore, the NUST-28 conductor demonstrated good stability at constant temperature and in cyclic experiments. Abstract

One-dimensional MnO2@C@Ni(OH)2 core–shell nanowires were successfully synthesized by simple hydrothermal and chemical bath method. The MnO2subscript>@C@Ni(OH)2 core–shell nanowires showed a high capacitance of 1595.4 F g−1 at 1 A g−1 as supercapacitor electrode material. After 6000 cycles, the cyclic reservation rate was about 82.3%, informing the good cycling stability. The asymmetric supercapacitor composed of MnO2@C@Ni(OH)2 as positive electrode and activated carbon as negative electrode exhibited high energy density of 39.78 Wh kg−1. 22. Structure-Based Rational Design and Evaluation of BET-Aurora Kinase Dual-Inhibitors for Treatment of Cancers

Abstract

Simultaneous inhibition of the bromodomain and extra-terminal domain and Aurora kinases is a promising anticancer therapeutic strategy. Based on our previous study on BET-kinase dual inhibitors, we employed the molecular docking approach to design novel dual BET-Aurora kinase A inhibitors. Through several rounds of optimization and with the guidance of the solved cocrystal structure of BRD4 bound to inhibitor 27, we finally obtained a series of highly potent dual BET-Aurora kinase A inhibitors. Compound 38exhibited strong affinity toward both BRD4 and Aurora kinase A. It also showed good antiproliferative activities on diverse cancer cell lines, good pharmacokinetic profiles, and favorable antitumor efficacy in renal cell cancer and colon cancer xenograft models with TGI of 45.99% and 53.06%, respectively.
