Abstract

Neutrophils are essential components of the innate immune system that defend against the invading pathogens, such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi, as well as having regulatory roles in various conditions, including tissue repair, cancer immunity, and inflammation modulation. The function of neutrophils is strongly related to their mode of cell death, as different types of cell death involve various cellular and molecular alterations. Apoptosis, a non-inflammatory and programmed type of cell death, is the most common in neutrophils, while other modes of cell death, including NETOsis, necrosis, necroptosis, autophagy, pyroptosis, and ferroptosis, have specific roles in neutrophil function regulation. Immunometabolism refers to energy and substance metabolism in immune cells, and profoundly influences immune cell fate and immune system function. Intercellular and intracellular signal transduction modulate neutrophil metabolism, which can, in turn, alter their activities by influencing various cell signaling pathways. In this review, we compile an extensive body of evidence demonstrating the role of neutrophil metabolism in their various forms of cell death. The review highlights the intricate metabolic characteristics of neutrophils and their interplay with various types of cell death.

Abstract

This paper uses virtual reality technology, augmented reality technology and other means to combine the virtualization design with traditional Chinese literature, interpreting a “virtual realm” in the future world from a new perspective and reforming the teaching of traditional Chinese literature through three aspects of literary imagery, scene and cultural display. This is a reform of traditional Chinese literature teaching, focusing on the three aspects of literary imagery, scene, and cultural display. The results of applying VR technology to the teaching practice of traditional Chinese literature show that on a natural level, the imagery of smoky rain and willow is mainly used. At the level of humanistic architectural landscape, temples, Rainflower Terrace, and Phoenix Terrace are the main imagery. At the level of social and cultural activities, the frequency of the Six Dynasties is the highest (40). Classical garden art and culture can be demonstrated in the scenes constructed throughout traditional Chinese literature, including poetry and literature. Compared to traditional teaching methods, the satisfaction rate for cultural display in VR teaching of traditional Chinese literature is as high as 92.5%. In the comparative analysis of teaching feedback, the experimental class mainly focuses on the score range of 60-80, while the distribution of the control class mainly focuses on the range of 30-60 points. The use of VR technology, on the other hand, allows students to devote themselves to the course and improves the learning process.

Abstract

Ground motion records of Beijing from the Tangshan earthquake was selected as the seismic input, and then the seismic simulation of a three-layer and three-span subway station with a rectangle cross-section in Beijing was carried out using the finite difference procedure. The variation law of dynamic acceleration, displacement amplification effect and dynamic stress of the subway station structure under the coupling action of P and S seismic waves with time difference was discussed. It is shown that, the process of impact on dynamic response and stress of the typical subway structure could be clear, which is, firstly, the P wave makes the station structure gain the largest vertical acceleration, and then, the structure gains the largest horizontal acceleration and stress through the coupling action of P and S seismic waves with the time difference, and finally, as the seismic force gradually reduces to disappear, the structure restore stability. The amplification effect of parameters in the dynamic response of the structure showed that the amplification coefficient of the side wall and column structures increases gradually from bottom to top and the amplification coefficient of the vertical acceleration is much larger than that of the horizontal acceleration. As the P wave can cause a large vertical acceleration and strong amplification effect, particular emphasis should be placed on the vertical anti-seismic performance of underground structures near the source. The structure gains the largest horizontal acceleration and tension stress under the coupling action of P and S seismic waves with the time difference, which is the key factor in structure destruction.
