Urban configurations have substantial impacts on lifestyles, behaviors, and people's daily lives. Elaborating urban plans based on smart and sustainable initiatives is a challenging task as it encompasses numerous multidisciplinary premises due to the dynamics of the urban context. This research aims to conduct a systematic review of the literature in three axes: sustainable urban development, city master plans, and smart cities. From the portfolio of papers built, it was possible to map projects designed for sustainable urban development in order to verify the integration of these projects with city master plans, specifically for smart cities. The content analysis also sought to identify global regions that use robust models, their frameworks, and technologies for this purpose as a strategy to identify which research or frameworks can be replicated in the future, helping to develop city master plans for smart cities. Although some results were found, it was observed that there is a lack of studies integrating the topics of smart cities, sustainability, and city master plans in the same discussion. Few types of research involve the three themes or their full application, being mostly described in isolation. Thus, the originality of this study is filling this gap in the literature. Goal: This study aimed to propose a Technology Transfer Model oriented to Industry 4.0 (TTM4.0). Design/methodology/approach. Initially, a systematic literature review was conducted to identify existing gaps in Technology Transfer models: Another focus of the review was to determine the requirements for technological implementations in Industry 4.0. Thus, a specific TT model was built. Then, the model was validated through case studies in Brazilian companies (slaughterhouses). The methods employed to measure data and support decisions in the context of TT4.0 were AHP, Likert scale, and Fuzzy-TOPSIS. Results: Focusing on similar results between Companies A and B, thinking about adopting Industry 4.0, the central strategic needs were product quality, reducing human error, and reducing waste. Among the main factors inhibiting the maximum interest and availability of Industry 4.0 for both companies were high investment, lack of knowledge (procedures or in general), and uncertainties in results. Results indicate Big Data Analytics and artificial intelligence technologies. Originality/value: The Poultry Industry strengthens the economy and significantly impacts the country's socioeconomic indices. Despite this, the sector has a low level of technological maturity compared to others. Regarding the TTM4.0, while other models start by recognizing opportunities and then select technologies in the market, this model prioritizes phases of organizational self-knowledge for decision-making support. A primary difference between a maturity model and a Technology Transfer model is in their scope, with the latter being broader. In different studies in the field of healthcare, big data analytics technology has been shown to be effective in observing the behaviour of data, of which analysed to allow the discovery of relevant insights for strategy and decision making. The objective of this study is to present the results of a systematic review of the literature on big data analytics in healthcare, focussing in technologies, main areas and purposes of adoption. To reach its objective, the study conducts an exploratory research, through a systematic review of the literature, using the Methodi Ordinatio protocol supported by content analysis. The results reveal that the use of tools implies work performance at the clinical and managerial level, improving the cost–benefit ratio and reducing the time factor in the practice of the workforce in health services. Technology Transfer (TT) is an essential process that governs complex operations related to the absorption and dissemination of diverse technologies, in their different natures and forms. Its complexity is linked to technical and political operations, and determinant elements. This study aimed to present results of a bibliometric analysis on Technology Transfer and to explore the fundamental elements and specific aspects that make up this process. A significant portfolio of papers was considered for bibliometric analysis. Subsequently, most relevant papers were selected for qualitative analysis, based on relevance of themes presented and number of citations by year. Key approaches to TT have been identified, and its elements (agents, technology, mechanisms, polices, barriers, supporters, models and effects and impacts). They are inherent to characteristics of the transfer agents and supporters, characteristics of the transfer object, characteristics of the transfer channels, characteristics/conditions of the demand environment for TT management. Objective: The present work aims to explore the concept of Smart Sustainable Cities, create the correlation between the terms Smart Cities and Sustainable Development, map technologies and projects implemented in this model of urban agglomeration, and identify the benefits generated for sustainable development, through the SDGs. Methodology: A content analysis was carried out using the Methodi Ordinatio, a systematic literature review multicriteria methodology. Relevance: Smart Sustainable Cities arise with the aim of promoting technological development, but also facing the problems generated by cities. However, the concepts and structures of these cities are not clear, as well as which technologies are implemented and their impacts on sustainable development. Results: Smart Sustainable Cities generate benefits for the three sustainable axes, in greater proportion for the Social axis, followed by the Environmental axis, and with less impact for the Economic axis. Contributions: This paper contributes to the academy by increasing the theoretical material, and to decision-makers, by highlighting the structures that make up the Smart Sustainable Cities as well as their results for sustainable development.
