Nanocrystalline ZrO 2 –V 2 O 5 –TiO 2 composite was synthesized by co-precipitation method and calcined at 500 and 700 °C. The formation of the composite material has been confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. The surface morphology was determined by SEM and HRTEM and it was seen that increase in calcination temperature increases the grain size. EDX analysis confirms the presence of zirconium, titanium and vanadium in the lattice. Optical absorption studies reveal a very low absorption in the visible region for both the samples. The dielectric constant, loss and ac conductivity of the pelletized samples have been examined at different temperatures as functions of frequency and the activation energies were calculated. The results indicated that the dielectric constant increases with calcination temperature. It was seen that the dielectric constant increases on the addition of Vanadia to zirconia–titania composite making it ideal for use as a gate dielectric material. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP) and Methyl ammonium chloride doped KDP (MACKDP) were made into nonlinear optical single crystals using the ambient temperature slow evaporation method. An examination of powder X-ray diffraction reveals that the reflection lines of the doped KDP crystal are almost identical to those of the pure parent chemical KDP, with just a little difference in peak intensity. The space group and lattice parameters of the crystal structure were determined using XRD measurements on a single crystal. FTIR spectrum studies indicated the existence of numerous functional groups due to the shifting of peak positions. According to the results of UV–Vis-NIR testing, the UV cutoff wavelength for pure KDP is 381 nm and for methyl ammonium chloride doped potassium dihydrogen phosphate crystal is 383 nm. Growing crystals have reduced permittivity and dielectric loss tangent at increasing frequencies and temperatures. There were 1.12 times more correlated second harmonic (SHG) powers in the doped crystal than there were in pure KDP, according to the Kurtz and Perry approach. Thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis were used to evaluate the thermal properties of an KDP doped MACKDP crystals. Vickers microhardness experiments have examined the impact of methyl ammonium chloride mixing on the hardness parameters of KDP crystal. The encouraging third-order nonlinear properties were examined employing a Z-scan technique using an Nd: YAG laser at 532 nm. The intention of this research is to recapitulate the two different fillers like E glass fiber and nanocarbon fiber, which were utilized to fabricate the polymer matrix composites by the assistance of epoxy resin. The mechanical compression molding was influenced to produce the polymer-based nanocomposites under consideration of optimal process parameters. There are three different weight fractions E glass fiber (40%, 45%, and 50%), nanocarbon fiber (10%, 15%, and 20%), and epoxy concentrations (30%, 40%, and 50%), respectively, that were used to produce the polymer matrix composites. Those processing parameters were designed by the L9 Taguchi with DOE technique to conduct the mechanical tests like tensile strength and hardness properties. The signal-to-noise ratios were successfully accomplished to identify optimal process parameters for improving the individual responses. The ANOVA and interaction was additional supports to enhance the mechanical properties. The scanning electron microscope was used to examine the fracture surfaces at the tensile fracture specimens with optimal conditions. Dithieno[3,2-b:2',3'-d] pyrrole (DTP) is a green alternative for stabilising the synthesis of nano polymers. The development of green synthesis methods for nano polymers is essential due to the negative impact of conventional synthetic methods on the environment and human health. In this study, we synthesised DTP and investigated its ability to stabilise the synthesis of polymeric nanoparticles. The use of DTP as a stabilising agent for polymeric nanoparticles is motivated by the challenges associated with the use of conventional stabilisers, including toxicity and environmental hazards. The importance of this study lies in the potential applications of DTP-stabilised nanoparticles in various fields, including drug delivery and nano electronics. The advantages of using DTP as a green alternative for stabilising the synthesis of nano polymers include its low toxicity and environmentally friendly nature. Conventional stabilisers, such as surfactants and polymers, often have adverse effects on human health and the environment. DTP is derived from natural sources and has low toxicity, making it an attractive alternative for stabilising the synthesis of nano polymers. Furthermore, the use of DTP as a stabilising agent can enhance the properties of polymeric nanoparticles, including their stability, size, and morphology, leading to improved performance in various applications.
