35th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition; 2169-2171, This work analyzes the current situation in the Spanish photovoltaic market in terms of profitability of investments for different system configurations: small plants (< 10 kW, typical in residential installations), large plants (some MW) and other systems (commercial, industrial, etc). In all the cases, the calculations assume the PV plants are grid-connected under free market conditions, with no incentives. Parameters such as return on investment and payback period have been calculated with the data collected from several sources.
