Available studies on project contingency planning predominantly focus on contingency reserves that account for known unknowns, neglecting considerable uncertainty associated with unknown unknowns. This study aimed to develop a decision-making model for forecasting and monitoring management reserve to mitigate the negative impact of unknown unknowns. To achieve this, it drew on observations from the resilience curves of a reference class of similar projects, which had already experienced disruptions, to uncover the likely disruption and recovery behaviour of the project. As part of the validation analysis, the results obtained from the proposed model were compared with the results yielded by a conventional method of estimating management reserve. The validation results revealed that the proposed model offers a better understanding of unknown unknowns by modelling the nonlinear performance of the project in the face of such events. This study is the first to develop an empirically based analytical model, enhancing the reliability of forecasting and monitoring management reserve in projects. Organisational justice is an established construct in the context of permanent organisations and relates to perceptions of fairness in the working environment. Justice judgements are context specific and whilst prior research has shown the positive impact of fair treatment on organisations and employees, less is known about organisational justice in projects and the impacts of fair or unfair treatment of project team members. This paper sets out to explore these shortfalls through a qualitative multi-method study. Combining the diaries of ten project team members, with pre- and post-diary interviews, the paper presents dimensions (distributive, procedural and interactional) of organisational justice experienced in the project context, factors influencing project team members justice judgements (sources, timing, delegation, and reflection) and the impact of in-/justice on individuals (ways of working, health and wellbeing, relationships, feelings), projects (project delivery) and organisations (reputation, effectiveness of processes). The spread of project organizing to an ever-expanding array of industries and sectors has garnered considerable attention in recent decades – particularly in the fields of organization and management studies, but also in sociology and philosophy. Some have characterized this ‘projectification’ as a fulcrum for profound cultural shifts, with ramifications extending beyond the boundaries of management, work life, and organizations. Perspectives have been put forward on projects permeating even the very ways we live our daily lives. The study of religion, however, has remained notably inattentive to such perspectives. In this article, we advocate the importance of studying projectification in the realm of religion. Drawing on examples from the national Lutheran churches of Sweden and Norway, we outline a framework for studying projectification of religion along three analytical trajectories: organizational projectification of religion, projectification as a structuration of religious interaction and adherence, and projectification as a shift in religious discourse. This study aims to improve the production efficiency at PT. Romi Violeta, a furniture company specializing in rattan and wood products, through a Lean Manufacturing approach within the context of Industry 4.0 digital transformation. Conducted as part of the Certified Independent Study Program (MSIB) at PT. Stechoq Robotics Indonesia--a research and development company focusing on robotics and Industrial IoT technologies--the research utilizes a project-based approach to identify four main types of waste: overproduction, waiting, excessive inventory, and defects, analyzed using the Material and Information Flow Chart (MIFC). Proposed solutions include reorganizing the production floor layout, implementing a Warehouse Management System (WMS), and integrating IoT technology for inventory management. The results demonstrate a reduction in production lead time from 1.01 days to 0.94 days, reflecting significant improvements in efficiency and effectiveness. This study not only offers practical contributions to enhancing company operations but also equips students with skills to analyze and implement Lean Manufacturing-based solutions in industrial settings. The construction industry plays a crucial role in India's fiscal targets amid a growing emphasis on infrastructure development. Despite extensive project management knowledge, persistent delays afflict 33% of projects, averaging a 47-month setback as of August 2021. This study seeks to pinpoint Critical Delay Factors (CDFs) in contemporary construction projects, drawing from 59 attributes identified through literature and expert input. A questionnaire survey gauged expert opinions on the impact of these attributes. Factor analysis unveiled underlying constructs, revealing seven CDFs, and the Relative Importance Index (RII) ranked factors by significance. Across professional roles and regional distinctions, ANOVA demonstrated consistent CDF evaluations. This paper argues for a break from the notion of small cinema as a temporally and geographically located space and reconceptualises it as a socially constructed place. A shadow site that mirrors elite forms of cinema in microcosm and as a locus for communities of practitioners that intersect primarily through project networks. This case study of a long-running 48 Hour Film Challenge in the UK asks how identity formation contributes to a sense of membership within peripheral production communities. The socialising process that confers membership, provides a basis for the development of relationships that cement the interconnectivity of the network. Emphasising fluidity over stability the paper argues that networks of practice are a dominant organising principle. The research draws on a rich mixture of auto-ethnographic reflection, observation and qualitative data gathered over a four-year period. This article examines the challenges posed by national legislative frameworks in the European Union Member States regarding the management of publicly funded research and development (R&D) projects. Taking the case of Spain and its General Subsidies Act as an example, this study analyzes 55 R&D funding calls published by the Spanish Central Administration in 2021 and 2022. This research identifies key challenges associated with change management in these projects. This research performed a detailed review of relevant legislation and its application to R&D projects, alongside an analysis of regulatory bases making use of a flexibility index (FI) to assess the adaptability of grant conditions. Also, quantitative methodologies like Pearson's correlation coefficient and principal component analysis were employed. The findings reveal that flexibility in project management, particularly concerning changes in scope, budget, and timeframes, is limited due to the rigidity of the legal framework. This lack of flexibility means a significant challenge for effective project execution, which inherently requires adaptability to manage uncertainty. This research suggests that future reforms should prioritize greater legal flexibility to improve the efficiency and success of publicly funded R&D initiatives. This paper addresses the issues related to highlighting the problems that arise when protecting children who have suffered or witnessed violence, as well as providing them with social and psychological support in the justice process. The author emphasises the need to engage highly qualified professionals when implementing the Barnahus pilot project in Ukrainian cities. The factors that contribute to the resolution of current obstacles in creating a child-friendly environment for child victims of violence, in which they are not only considered victims, but where they can feel safe, especially in today's environment, are considered. The construction sector in emerging nations like Pakistan faces challenges due to the limited use of advanced technology. Building Information Modeling (BIM) offers key benefits, including cost savings, reduced rework, and early detection of design faults. BIM also manages large amounts of data by integrating information from various phases of the project life-cycle. This study examines BIM’s impact on planning, design, and construction phases through a survey of 40 field experts, ranked using the Likert scale. Results show that BIM enhances collaboration, supports better design pathways, and assists project managers during planning. In design, it improves information sharing, efficiency, and scheduling. Dur-ing construction, BIM facilitates seamless information flow, visualized model execution, and effective risk management. The findings highlight BIM’s potential to address lifecycle chal-lenges and improve overall project outcomes.

This article assesses the understanding and state of hybrid project management. A research problem was formulated, asking how large organizations working on software projects can gain value from agile project management, focusing on the hybrid approach as the most fitting candidate. A systematic literature review was conducted (SCOPUS, Web of Science), and findings were presented, proving that the current understanding of hybrid is limited and mostly viewed as a combination of agile and waterfall. Also, it has been shown that the hybrid approach is quite beneficial, and large organizations most likely don't have any other choice than turning to hybrid if they want to stay competitive. The original value resides around challenging the current definition of hybrid and proposing a new framework that will establish boundaries of a hybrid approach, which goes beyond the literature reviews done so far. This research was motivated by the learning process carried out by teachers has not facilitated students adequately through the use of LKPD. Teachers tend to use textbooks which contain material summaries and practice questions. The objectives of this research are (1) To describe the validity of P5-based LKPD; and (2) Describe the practicality of P5-based LKPD. The research method used is research and development (R & D) with the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluations. The instruments used are validation sheets and teacher and student response questionnaire sheets. From a series of development processes carried out, it can be concluded that the LKPD based on the P5 Bhineka Tunggal Ika theme received a score of 91.75% and is within the very feasible criteria. Meanwhile, for the practicality of the LKPD based on the P5 theme of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, the teacher gave a score of 90% and was within the very practical criteria and students gave a score of 92.2% and was within the very practical criteria. As a form of follow-up and as a limitation to the research objectives, the researcher recommends testing the effectiveness of LKPD based on the P5 theme of Bhineka Tunggal Ika

Changing customer requirements and turbulent markets require suitably adapted capabilities to proactively cope with rapid changes. Agile manufacturing emerged in the late 1990s as a competitive concept to respond to these business challenges. While several seminal research works address agility in terms of concept definition, drivers and strategic capabilities, there is a lack of implementation frameworks of agile manufacturing. The current paper is concerned with the question of how to improve the agility of manufacturing companies. To address this question, a framework is iteratively developed with the aim of supporting decision makers in planning and implementing agility improvement projects. To this end, Design Science Research (DSR) methodology is used in conjunction with CIMO-logic (Context, Intervention, Mechanism, Outcome). The iterative development of the framework relies heavily on insights from case studies and from practitioners in the broad manufacturing sector. Background. The relevance of the problem is due to the fact that the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education consolidate the line on a personality-oriented model of education and upbringing. This model is designed to help in finding and creating conditions for the development of universal, general professional and professional competencies in the studing of bachelors. Purpose. Creation of a course of the second foreign language (German) for bachelor students in politics based on interdisciplinary connections of philological subjects. For this purpose, the authors use the basics of an interdisciplinary approach, which allows students to apply knowledges of the disciplines of the curriculum, such as "Political Science", "Practice of Effective Communication", "Logic and Theory of Argumentation", "Cultural Studies", "Russian Language and Culture of Speech", "Geopolitics", "Fundamentals of Internet Communication" in the process of studying a foreign language and improving universal, general professional and professional competencies. As a result of applying an interdisciplinary approach, the scientific picture of the world of students is expanded, the analysis of foreign experience of public administration and international law is carried out in the original language. Profile-oriented approach is achieved through the implementation of a communicative, personal, activity-oriented approach in teaching related and close in content disciplines. Materials and methods. The study material was based on the texts for training from the textbook "45 Stunden Deutschland", the Internet portal "Tatsachen über Deutschland" and project assignments developed by students studying in the specialty "Public Policy and Social Sciences" in the 3rd and 4th years of the "Magnitogorsk State Technical University named after G.I. Nosov". We assume that when preparing bachelor's students in non-linguistic specialties, it is necessary to build the teaching of a foreign language based on the interdisciplinary connections of general humanitarian disciplines, then the level of foreign language communicative competence will remain no lower than the level of senior secondary school and in some cases will be higher, and the level of universal, general professional and professional competencies of a bachelor-future politician by means of a second foreign language (FL2) will increase. In our study, we analyzed the literature on the problem, summarized the existing developments of domestic and foreign scientists on the topic of the study, and conducted experimental training. We are confident that the application of the competence approach in assessing foreign language communicative competence in FL2 allows us to state that the level of proficiency in FL2 becomes higher, namely equal to level B1 or B1+. This, in turn, ensures the students' readiness for further language and speech development by means of both a foreign and native language. Results. The socio-political and economic changes taking place in our country have led to a qualitatively new round of interest in foreign languages and the subject of "Foreign language". The desire to improve the preparation of bachelors in foreign languages has disrupted the usual monotony of curricula and work programs. Magnitogorsk State Technical University named after G.I. Nosov, represented by the Institute of Economics and Management, conducts bachelor's degree training in the direction 41.03.06 "Public Policy and Social Sciences" and successfully implements programs that meet the requirements of today. Bachelors of this specialty are taught two foreign languages, one of which is German language. Experience working in groups of the specified specialty convinces that through interest in the language, interest in the country of the studied language also increases. The level of language proficiency allows students to critically analyze foreign sources in their specialty and make reasonable conclusions, perceive the intercultural diversity of society, apply the knowledge gained during language training when preparing reports, presentations, carry out business communication in a foreign language, be ready for intercultural dialogue and defend their civic position. That is, in general, students improve their communication skills in all communication functions: informational, regulatory, emotional-evaluative, etiquette.

Objectives. The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of implementating projects for the introduction of adaptive sports games on the psycho-emotional state of different population groups in Poland and Ukraine. Materials and methods. A total of 341 individuals were involved in the study: 117 children (8-12 years old), 118 middle-aged people (35-60 years old), and 116 elderly people (60 years and older). The participants of the study were divided into two groups: those who took part in the Polish project “Academic Center of Sports and Health Games for Activation of People with Special Needs” (56 children, 65 adults, 73 elderly people), and those who took part in the Polish-Ukrainian project, which was conducted directly in Ukraine, “Ukrainian Center of Occupational Therapy through Adaptive Games” (61 children, 53 adults, 44 elderly people). All study participants were engaged in adaptive games (Cornhole, Jacollo, Elastik, Kulbutto, Boccia, Paka laka) for the first time. At the beginning and end of the event on adaptive games, a survey of participants was conducted. To determine the psycho-emotional state of children, the WAM method (well-being, activity, mood) was used, and the features of adults’ psychological state were assessed using the standard test AWAMW (anxiety, working capacity, activity, mood, well-being). Results. The analysis of the obtained study results revealed positive changes in the psycho-emotional state of different population groups in Poland and Ukraine under the influence of adaptive sports games. Furthermore, the adult population, including the elderly of Poland and Ukraine, demonstrated decreased anxiety levels and a significant enhancement in activity, mood and well-being due to engaging in adaptive sports games. Conclusions. This study emphasizes the potential of adaptive sports games to improve the mental health of different population groups. The findings also indicate the effectiveness of implementating projects for the introduction of adaptive games on the psycho-emotional state of different population groups both in Poland and Ukraine.

Effective communication stands as the linchpin for successful project outcomes. In the realm of development initiatives, communication becomes the exclusive avenue through which project beneficiaries take centre stage. This study thus delved into the role of communication in bolstering project efficacy, specifically examining its impact on the Shea value project in Ghana’s Garu-Tempane District. Employing both qualitative and quantitative research designs, the study used purposive and simple random sampling techniques to select key figures from the Presbyterian Agric Service (PAS), Garu, alongside opinion leaders and project beneficiaries. Semi-structured interviews guided data collection, aiming to validate the correlation between development communication and project success. Content analysis was used to analyze qualitative data, while T-tests and percentages were employed in the analysis of quantitative data. This paper affirmed that community meetings, interpersonal communication, and community radio are widely utilized in information dissemination and possess a moderate influence. Moreover, respondents expressed willingness to sustain the project. The paper underscores the imperative for effective communication between project implementers and community members, stressing its pivotal role in securing success and ensuring the project’s enduring impact and sustainability.

Purpose: This study aims to identify the factors influencing the knowledge management of public library projects in Iran.Methodology: The system dynamics method was employed, which is descriptive and practical in nature. The statistical population consisted of 10 project knowledge specialists and experts in Iran, selected using the snowball method.Findings: Cause and effect loops were established, considering modes of learning before, during, and after the project, as well as learning from external sources. The parameters were determined through interviews with project knowledge management specialists. The findings indicated that a ten percent increase in system integrity over five years led to a 1.4 percent increase in project knowledge. Scenario building was conducted based on these results.Conclusion: To enhance the knowledge management system of public library projects, it is essential to plan for effective knowledge transfer before, during, and after the project, integrate systems, measure performance, extract new knowledge, and utilize external resources, as well as establish organizational networks.Value: This research fills a gap in the literature by examining the factors influencing project knowledge management using the system dynamics approach. It has the potential to enhance organizational performance and serve as a basis for future research.

Establishing a curriculum for painting art projects within the Montessori education model is imperative for fostering objective practice conducive to social development. Through this investigation, we employ theoretical research methodologies to scrutinize the contextual nuances, program dynamics, and influential factors shaping the implementation of art projects in early childhood classrooms catering to children aged 3 to 6, harmonizing with the Montessori educational ethos. Utilizing the collaborative autoethnography method (Chang et al., 2014), we delve into experiential insights from practical educational pursuits. Preliminary findings indicate the efficacy of art education for this age group, underscored by key aspects including 1) The harmonization of theory and practice throughout program development and implementation; 2) the formulation of precise program framework implementation strategies; 3) the provision of comprehensive providing assistance and direction in selecting art projects and activities for preschool educators. These research outcomes offer a novel perspective on the symbiotic relationship between theory and practice, thus fostering the adoption of innovative methodologies in preschool education within the Vietnamese context.

Starting from the critical premises that underpin the debate between archeology and architecture, some evidence emerges: sometimes, the musealization of buildings, “urban carcasses” and historical ruins—which are our legacy from the past—is even more harmful than that of any other artefact, for the purposes of their real understanding. In a country like Italy, which has archeological presences more than any other, architecture must contribute to overcoming the consolidated aporia that the Contemporary, conceived not only as a period but also and above all as its “forms and functions”, is structurally in opposition to the conservation of archeological heritage. Spatium ad Omnes, the project presented in this article, is an attempted exercise at “inhabiting archaeology”, that is, trying to re-grant inclusive usability to a historical fragment, which has lost the elements necessary for its liveability, paying attention to the reversibility of the project itself. The set of questions, doubts and steps preliminary for the design have been highlighted more than the final “figure” of the project: an essential form directly connected with the primordial principles of its constitution. Spatium ad Omnes protects and encourages visiting the complex, trying to offer new perspectives, new narratives and new connections that translate into the possibility of being—for those who visit this place—the protagonists of a unique experience made of history, memory and continuous discoveries.

This paper presents the development and implementation of the International Competency Model for Undergraduate Psychology Students (ICUP). In particular, it emphasizes how the goals and content of the project development activities, organisational, managerial and other operational aspects of this project are developed and structured. It argues the importance of creating taskspecific small groups and provides the following recommendations for effective project implementation: evidence-based theory; using competency frameworks; ensuring incentives are in place; creating a plan; creating multiple engagement mechanisms; a commitment to ongoing development of cultural responsiveness; fostering openness to using new technology tools; and establishing formal and informal mechanisms for external and internal process review. The significance of the developing model of competencies for psychology students project enebles in creating or revising the content of educational programmes for the formation of basic psychological competencies at the undergraduate level. The article presents a detailed perspective on project management in the automotive industry, with an emphasis on effective coordination of resources to meet quality and safety standards. During the work, the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) method is presented and analyzed, an essential process in the automotive industry for quality planning and defect prevention, structured in stages of planning, design, development and validation. The V3P (Vehicle Performance Plan Process) framework created and adopted by the Renault company is explained as a project planning method based on milestones, intended to ensure the performance and efficiency of the final product, consistent with cost, quality and schedule objectives. The document also includes a case study related to the management of a nonconformity, exemplifying the use of the 8D problem-solving method to identify and correct root causes, thus preventing the recurrence of non-conformities in production. Project management is an expensive management approach: transaction costs in project management are higher than in functional management. Accordingly, it is untenable to apply project management to objects that do not correspond to the nature of the project as an object of management. However, insofar as the normal human condition is that of limited cognitive abilities, and under the influence of fashion in management, situations in which the application of project management is sought, when it is not justified by the nature of the object of management, are not an exception. Understanding the distinctive nature of the project on the part of business actors, including international businesspeople, is a fundamental factor in effectively mastering the rich arsenal of tools in project management. The article seeks an answer to the question: what are the contemporary aspects of the nature of the project as an object of management? The aim is to achieve a systematic treatment of the project by identifying existing and deriving new understandings of its nature. Methodologically the article is based on the application of an integrative literature review and abductive reasoning. The theoretical foundations of the analysis are enriched with the author‘s thoughts and a critical review of the theory through an attempt to synthesize it holistically. The article presents and comments on established views on the contemporary nature of the project and on this basis brings out new perspectives – the project as an agency for integration and knowledge creation, the project as an agency for sustainable development, and the project as an agency for international business. Interdisciplinarity facilitates the learning process through which the learner experiences the connections between his reality and that of the world, through concrete learning activities requiring an act of personal and social engagement. The integration of interdisciplinary educational activities stimulates students to find concrete meaning in learning. The students learn to make connections between concepts and skills in related subjects and, subsequently, with everyday life. We must build a bridge between the disciplines based on the similarities established between them in terms of learning content, concepts and technical and cognitive skills. The integration of subjects allows teachers to go beyond textbooks in order to make learning more meaningful and satisfying for the learner. Interdisciplinary projects also offer a more enriched knowledge of the subject under study, an openness to what other disciplines can offer and a better perception of the role of disciplines. A learner preparing an interdisciplinary project focuses as much on "how he learns", that is to say, on the development of his personal data collection method and problem solving as well as the establishment of links between the subjects and the concepts learned for each isolated subject. Interdisciplinarity contributes to the development of better social and cultural interaction and the ability to solve everyday problems. Interdisciplinarity also promotes the development of higher cognitive skills such as critical thinking, the spirit of synthesis and integration, reflective skills, the understanding of difficult concepts and conceptual memory. Interdisciplinarity seems to result in better learning of better attitudes among students and a better relationship between teachers and students. In the business world that is increasingly moving towards digitalization, technologybased project management is a branch of management that is gaining more attention, in line with the increasing growth of startup companies and the digital transformation process of companies. Looking back at the failure rate of information technology-based projects in the past, it can be concluded that project failure not only causes financial losses but can also impact the reputation and trust of clients, so it is important to be equipped with good project management skills. Management needs to learn the knowledge and have the skills to manage information technology projects in order to increase the chances of success. This paper will discuss project management based on information systems, including critical success factors and indicators of success. The research was conducted by reviewing the literature. From the research results, it is concluded that the critical success factors for information technologybased project management are budget, methodology, technical competence of the team and risk management along with adequate mitigation measures and adaptability to sudden changes and state of the art innovation. Project management plays a critical role in boosting the success of organizations' projects. However, no matter how well a project is managed, changes are inevitable during its execution. It is crucial to evaluate the impact of these changes before implementing them to ensure they do not compromise the project's success. Existing techniques for assessing the effects of changes have several limitations--particularly in their failure to account for how changes might affect various aspects of project management, such as scope, cost, time, resources, communication, risk, procurement, or overall success. To overcome this limitation, this article introduces a new technique - the Project Change Canvas - that enables the systematic assessment of changes in information systems and technology projects by identifying and weighing their potential impacts across all relevant project management knowledge areas. Objectives. The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of implementating projects for the introduction of adaptive sports games on the psycho-emotional state of different population groups in Poland and Ukraine. Materials and methods. A total of 341 individuals were involved in the study: 117 children (8-12 years old), 118 middle-aged people (35-60 years old), and 116 elderly people (60 years and older). The participants of the study were divided into two groups: those who took part in the Polish project “Academic Center of Sports and Health Games for Activation of People with Special Needs” (56 children, 65 adults, 73 elderly people), and those who took part in the Polish-Ukrainian project, which was conducted directly in Ukraine, “Ukrainian Center of Occupational Therapy through Adaptive Games” (61 children, 53 adults, 44 elderly people). All study participants were engaged in adaptive games (Cornhole, Jacollo, Elastik, Kulbutto, Boccia, Paka laka) for the first time. At the beginning and end of the event on adaptive games, a survey of participants was conducted. To determine the psycho-emotional state of children, the WAM method (well-being, activity, mood) was used, and the features of adults’ psychological state were assessed using the standard test AWAMW (anxiety, working capacity, activity, mood, well-being). Results. The analysis of the obtained study results revealed positive changes in the psycho-emotional state of different population groups in Poland and Ukraine under the influence of adaptive sports games. Furthermore, the adult population, including the elderly of Poland and Ukraine, demonstrated decreased anxiety levels and a significant enhancement in activity, mood and well-being due to engaging in adaptive sports games. Conclusions. This study emphasizes the potential of adaptive sports games to improve the mental health of different population groups. The findings also indicate the effectiveness of implementating projects for the introduction of adaptive games on the psycho-emotional state of different population groups both in Poland and Ukraine. In Brazil, the maintenance and expansion of the federal road network conflict with the country's climate neutrality goals. The National Department of Transportation Infrastructure (DNIT), responsible for Brazil's federal highways, lacks tools to assess and mitigate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from its projects, which can be achieved through the life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology. Additionally, the scarcity and insufficient quality of environmental data on Brazilian road materials led to using foreign databases in LCA studies conducted in Brazil, generating uncertainties in the results. This research aims to apply LCA to analyze the GHG emissions from highway projects developed by DNIT. The analysis covers the phases of material production, transportation, and construction. Additionally, this study investigates the influence of the leading project disciplines on the results and the differences in outcomes resulting from the use of local Portland cement compared to its equivalent produced in the United States of America (USA) and Europe. The results indicate that the materials production phase has the most significant impact on the project's global emissions, contributing over 78% in all scenarios. The transportation phase accounts for more than 16% of global emissions, with the potential for greater contributions depending on project transportation distances. Environmental data showed that foreign cement increased the project's global emissions by 7.31% (Europe) and 12.91% (USA), with the most significant differences observed in pavement disciplines. In all scenarios, the discipline of new pavement presented the highest unitary emissions, followed by the discipline of restored pavement, which showed average values 58% lower than the former, and earthworks. Other services, drainage, and special structures disciplines showed minimal influence on the results. In conclusion, this research proposes an approach to estimate the environmental impact of Brazilian federal highway projects, enabling early mitigation of GHG emissions during the design phase, focusing on critical disciplines and materials, and highlighting potential distortions associated with the use of environmental data from foreign cement in LCA studies of Brazilian highways. Finally, considerations are presented regarding improving and expanding the scope of the calculation methodology used in this study, allowing for a more comprehensive and accurate analysis of the environmental impacts associated with the Brazilian federal road network. Megaprojects play an important role in economics, society, and the environment and during recent years have fast developed. However, due to frequent social involvement induced by the social impact, social risk control has become a big challenge. So, this study is based on the systematic analysis of social risks and behavioural models in megaprojects. This study proposed a model composed of multi-criteria decision-making techniques and system dynamics to analyze the social risks for megaprojects. After choosing the desired risks in the social dimension and obtaining the causal relationships through the DEMATEL-ANP (DANP) method, as seen in the chart, the relationships between the extant variables can be investigated and concluded. The results show that some risks including timely completion of the project and related issues regarding increasing time based on social problems, the extreme internal and external dissatisfaction of megaprojects, and the decreasing risk due to increasing cost are ranked the first, second, and third one, respectively. Also, the extreme internal and external dissatisfaction of the megaproject has the most impact. In this proposed model, the factors affecting the risk related to the timely completion of the project and associated issues regarding the increasing time can be investigated in such a way that the values of this parameter have increased because of an increase in the internal variables, and vice versa. The mutual impact of the variable, the extreme internal and external dissatisfaction of the megaproject, the decreasing risk of the project quality due to excessive increasing cost in terms of social and unpredicted issues, and social interventions of beneficiaries on the timely completion risk of the project and issues of increasing time can be observed. Also, in the below charts, the behaviour of this model has been investigated during 10 coming years by different scenarios. This study can facilitate the perception of social risk in terms of the risk evolution and provide the decision-making support to overcome the social risk with megaproject operation. In Bingöl, Elazığ, and Muş, micro-basin projects have been implemented, but not all local residents have benefited from these initiatives. This study aimed to understand the views and experiences of those locals who did not benefit from the projects, assessing the potential impact on productivity and income. The study was conducted in the provinces of Bingöl, Elazığ, and Muş. Data was gathered between 16-25 August 2021. The primary sources of information were interviews with 168 non-beneficiaries, complemented by focus group discussions and key informant interviews. Findings showed that 75% of participants linked increased productivity to the projects, and all acknowledged an enlarged production area due to project activities. There was no significant difference in production area or income from agricultural sales based on gender or the presence of cash income. However, cash income holders reported higher earnings from both agriculture and livestock. Provincial disparities in income emerged: residents of Bingöl had 2.439 times the income of those in Muş, while Elazığ inhabitants earned 0.882 times less. Men's income surpassed women's by 1.209 times, and those with a history of cash income earned 4.037 times more than those without. Interestingly, owning land or cultivating high-value crops was associated with lesser income. Measures to counteract drought could enhance production areas and, consequently, local incomes. A significant barrier identified was the 20% contribution requirement, preventing some locals from project participation. Recommendations include adjusting project criteria to increase local engagement and benefits. This paper aims to analyze the foundational elements that must precede the success of scientific work framed within scientific institutions commonly referred to as research centers. These centers have become essential in modern times due to their contributions to both scientific and social movements and their impact on public policies of states. They function as research laboratories addressing analysis and investigation processes to establish a predictive framework for the future, not only of the social environment but also of the global context in its intellectual and cultural manifestations. Therefore, these emerging institutions are expected to act as safeguards against negative influences on the identity aspects of society by preserving, inspiring, and reviving heritage in ways that allow it to provide qualitative contributions to the present. Starting from the critical premises that underpin the debate between archeology and architecture, some evidence emerges: sometimes, the musealization of buildings, "urban carcasses" and historical ruins—which are our legacy from the past—is even more harmful than that of any other artefact, for the purposes of their real understanding. In a country like Italy, which has archeological presences more than any other, architecture must contribute to overcoming the consolidated aporia that the Contemporary, conceived not only as a period but also and above all as its "forms and functions", is structurally in opposition to the conservation of archeological heritage. Spatium ad Omnes, the project presented in this article, is an attempted exercise at "inhabiting archaeology", that is, trying to re-grant inclusive usability to a historical fragment, which has lost the elements necessary for its liveability, paying attention to the reversibility of the project itself. The set of questions, doubts and steps preliminary for the design have been highlighted more than the final "figure" of the project: an essential form directly connected with the primordial principles of its constitution. Spatium ad Omnes protects and encourages visiting the complex, trying to offer new perspectives, new narratives and new connections that translate into the possibility of being—for those who visit this place—the protagonists of a unique experience made of history, memory and continuous discoveries. The article is devoted to the study of the protection of the rights of foreign investors during the state of war in Ukraine. The author focuses on the fact that this topic is currently relevant due to the fact that the reconstruction of Ukraine will become necessary. The war caused the outflow of foreign investments from our country. In addition, corruption, pressure from the authorities, and unfair justice are the reasons why foreign investors leave Ukraine. Every investor aspires to work in a state where law and justice reign, so Ukraine, which aspires to membership in the European Union, should create just such a state. Therefore, its primary task is to create a favorable business climate for foreign investors to carry out their activities. Current Ukrainian legislation guarantees compensation and indemnification of losses to a foreign investor, guarantees are also provided in case of termination of investment activity; state guarantees for the protection of foreign investments are defined. In accordance with the Law of Ukraine «On State Support of Investment Projects with Significant Investments in Ukraine», the state provides support to large investment projects. In connection with the introduction of the state of war in Ukraine in 2024, the Law of Ukraine on the insurance of investments against war risks entered into force. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine established a credit agency that provides investment insurance. Although the war made Ukraine unattractive to foreign investors, the authorities are taking all possible measures to improve the country's investment climate. The author draws attention to the need to study and transpose the experience of successful countries in this regard. For example, Australia offers quite good conditions to foreign investors - consistent economic growth, highly qualified labor force, strategic location, efficient administration and judicial system, and good infrastructure. Mexico is also attractive to foreign investors, the «Invest in Mexico» business center has been created to assist investors. The war is an accelerant for positive changes in the state, and after its end, the reconstruction of Ukraine is an important task, therefore the efforts of all branches of government should be directed at overcoming all obstacles to the effective work of foreign investors in our state. In the present study, the topic of educational motivation among students majoring in “Tourism” at “St. Cyril and St. Methodius” University of Veliko Tarnovo. For this purpose, a survey was conducted among participants in the "Get to know Bulgaria with us" educational project. The article aims to establish the educational motivation of tourism students through their participation in the mentioned project. A survey method and the method for the discovery of association rules to search for regularities based on received data were used. The results of the research conducted among the participants show that students who share the purpose of the project find a way to get involved in it and work to achieve its main goal. As an important part of their academic performance, they share in improving their communication, teamwork and adaptability. The basis of their motivation is the acquisition of knowledge, skills and competences, and on a personal level, they share the positive impact of the project on their self-evaluation. Enhancing the institution's image also scores high among the reasons. In summary, we can determine that educational motivation among tourism students is closely dependent on their attitudes towards future development. The use of group work projects is common in introductory statistics courses, including projects where students collect their own data. However, the COVID-induced lockdown at the start of 2020 meant that data collection was compromised. In this study, we examine a situation where students were permitted to use artificial (made-up) data for their project during the COVID lockdown. We examine features of these project reports and the data the students used before, during and after the lockdown. We find evidence that during-COVID projects (based on artificial data) were more likely to study people but less likely to involve interaction with people, and were less likely to require t-tests for analysis. We also found that the artificial data were less likely to include outliers, but no evidence that the artificial data were contrived to produce 'small' p values. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper develops an analysis of the politics and temporality of infrastructure through a focus on the idea of a project. A project (noun) is an assemblage of expertise, labour, materials and resources. The development of a project to build a port, pipeline, a mine, or a hydropower plant entails the mobilization of ideas, finance, political support and the law, the containment of material forces, as well as the organization of expertise, resources and labour. To project is also a verb; to throw forwards or to imagine, visualize or speculate on a possible future, which may or may not be actualized in practice. Moreover, individual infrastructural projects are often built on the legacy of earlier projects and conceived as contributions to ambitious projections of the future – including modernization, socialism, development and state building. Our analysis of the politics and temporality of projects is both developed and illustrated through an account of infrastructural projects in the Republic of Georgia which are also understood as contributions to a larger project of transition.
