The quality of the product must be determined, recorded and documented by the manufacturer; thus, the grade of the product can be measured especially by the workers who produce it. The results of previous studies [2] state that the quality of soy milk produced shows a gap of 1.42 between the quality performance of soy milk (score 2.67) and the expectations of consumers (score 4.09). Therefore, it is necessary to improve the production process of soy milk. In this current study, the researchers implement an integrated HPEF (High Pulsed Electric Field) technology as well as improve the packaging types by using cups. The purpose of this study is to realize the improvement results achieved by the researchers toward the quality of soy milk from the results of previous consumer surveys by applying the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method. From the Cartesian diagram, it can be realized that the manufacturers are currently able to improve the quality of the soy milk. This is indicated by all attributes being in quadrant I. The quality improvement is obtained through the implementation of HPEF technology and by replacing the plastic bearing packaging with the cup packaging. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
