Zagadnienie to w dużym stopniu dotyczy kwalifikowanych zawodników różnych dyscyplin sportowych. Wioślarstwo, to sport wymagający i aktywizujący większość mięśni człowieka. Przyjęto hipotezę, o większych dysproporcjach siły i gibkości zawodników wioseł długich. SUMMARY Introduction: The physical activity is essential for the normal functioning of the musculoskeletal system. Both deficiency and excess of motion can be harmfull. This issue mostly concern all kinds of sport players. The rowing, as a sport discipline, is physicly demanding so that activates most of human muscles. An inadequate training can lead to serious disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Demages can be caused by the nature of particular sport discipline or training loads. Aim of the thesis: The main goal is to examin and present differences in force level and flexibility factor among sportsman according to used oar. Take hypothesis that bigger inequality in strenght and flexibility have rowers of oar. Material and methodology: Research covered rowers of left and right oar and also symmetric paddle in age between 15 to 28 years old with at least 3 years training experience. From all contestants measurement of weight and height were taken. Another examined factors were range of corps movement and strenght in moves: a corps flexion forward, hyperextension of the corps, rotation into left and right and lateral flexion on the left and right side. Material was analized by normal distribution and comparison of inner group. Results of rowers were compered by groups used various rowing equipment. Results: It is said, that symmetric rowing supports steady muscle strenght development in players corpses. Other noticed issue concerning rowers using oars is possesion of bigger force for corps rotation towards hand used for rowing. It is also observed for both symmetric and asymmetric rowers that they have better strenght of corps rotation on whatever side of the body. Conclusions: Research confirms sygnificant influence of morphology on sport results but with no visible difference in used rowing tools or in force inequality of oar players and their lack of flexibility The introducion of symmetric excercises can be beneficial for athletes especially in intesive training period by decreasing risk ijury and improvement of sport achievements. Abstract The aim of the work is to draw attention to the desirability of re-educating gait in patients after stroke of the brain. At work were presented to the deviation in each subphases power cycle and presented the most important method of re-educating gait. Stroke is one of the most common neurological diseases and causes many physiological disorders related to your vehicle. Gait of patients after stroke of the brain revealed by the lack of symmetry while the individual phases of the gait cycle, the uneven load of limbs and impaired the length of the step. Gait re-education is designed to restore the physiological gait patterns, to build proper muscle tone in the affected paretic limb, improving balance and restore the functions of independent and safe move.

Summary Sensory integration is the neurological process, during which sensory impressions are reordering process by which a person can properly function in everyday life (learning, fun, leisure). Treatment of children with sensory integration is the delivery of a child the right incentives (depending on the type of disorder - strengthening or weakening stimuli and habituation to stimuli. During the therapy can be used elements of occupational therapy, selecting materials with appropriate texture and materials of varying strength (painting with his hands, modeling, modeling). The task of the therapist SI is to ensure the child such an exercise - tasks, which itself can lead and reap the joy, while creating a more difficult task, involving a complex adaptive responses of the nervous system. The main aim of establishment-oriented fun for children with disorders of the SI is to improve their functioning in everyday life, in relationships with family and peers, by reducing overactivity of the child or his agitation. WOMEN football players ,TRAINING of football players ,MOTOR ability ,BODY weight ,MUSCLE mass - Abstract
Aim of Study. The aim of this study was to analyse morphological and motor changes in young elite female football players during preparatory phase of a yearly training cycle. We assumed that preparatory phase in football training causes a decrease in body fat mass, increase in body weight, particularly in muscle mass of lower limbs, as well as an improvement in motor skills, endurance and speed. Methods. The study included elite female football players from KKP MAX-Sprint Bydgoszcz team. Their basic morphological parameters, including body composition and physical performance expressed by outcomes of flexibility, static and explosive strength, speed and endurance EUROFIT battery tests, were documented at two time points: beginning and end of preparatory phase of a yearly training cycle. Data. The Shapiro-Wilk test (assessment of the distribution of variables), Student t-test (assessment of the significance of the dependent variables' differences) and Mollison's index (assessment of the scope of changes of the variables tested) were used. The threshold of statistical significance for all tests was set at 0.05. Results. Morphological changes were manifested mainly by an increase body weight (D = 0.78 kg, p = 0.012) including protein content (D = 0.15 kg, p = 0.005) and in body fluid volume (D = 0.33, p = 0.032) and fat-free mass, particularly in lower limbs (for the right leg D = 0.12 l, p = 0.003; for the left leg D = 0.10 l, p = 0.006). Motor changes were manifested by an improved speed agility (D = 2.79 s, p = 0.000), flexibility (D = 6.25 cm, p = 0.000), explosive strength (D = 8.67 cm, p = 0.001) and static strength (D = 3.00 kG, p = 0.016). Conclusions. A significant increase in muscle mass and speed suggests that football training exerts specific, desirable effects on morphological and motor characteristics in female players. Preparatory phase in football training does not result in unfavourable changes in morphological and motor characteristics in female players. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

SWIMMING techniques ,ATHLETES ,SWIMMING instruction ,PHYSICAL activity ,SWIMMERS' health - Abstract
Introduction. Swimming has become a very popular form of physical activity mainly due to its wholesome influence on the human body. The aim of this study was to determine the effects of swimming training on the functional mobility and flexibility of young female swimmers. It is believed that swimming has a beneficial impact on the basic flexibility and functional mobility parameters. Material and Methods. Nine young female swimmers, members of the swimming team from 5th Secondary Sport School in Bydgoszcz took part in the study. The girls' functional mobility and flexibility in were determined twice the sagittal plane with the use of the FMS test and "Eurofit" test, respectively. The bend of the torso in the frontal plane was also assessed. The differences in results were measured with Student's t-test, and the value of changes was determined using the Mollison index. Results. A slight increase in the final FMS test result was noted in the second examination, compared with the first one: from 16.88 ± 1.76 to 17.22 ± 2.28. In 25-35% of cases the risk of overloading muscles as well as the positive impact of training on flexibility levels in the sagittal and frontal planes (during a bend to the left) was detected: from 26.44 ± 9.73 to 29.66 ± 7.92, and from 23.33 ± 2.45 to 25.11 ± 3.18, respectively. The Mollison index revealed the most positive results in the rotational stability of the torso (1.65) and the range of the lateral bend to the left (0.73), while negative values were only found in the in-line lunge and chest mobility range (-0.42). Conclusions. The results of the study confirm that swimming training has a positive impact on the body of young swimmers (increased mobility and flexibility). It is of vital importance to undertake further research on the effects of swimming on the mobility of the human body. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Introduction: In this study, we attempted to examine the effect of pelvic floor muscle training on testosterone and cortisol concentrations in elderly women with stress urinary incontinence., Material and Methods: The number of participants included in the analysis was 59: 30 women in the experimental group (EG) and 29 women in the control group (CG). The EG underwent pelvic floor muscle training, whereas the CG did not receive any therapeutic intervention. In the present study the authors measured testosterone and cortisol concentrations as well as body mass index (BMI) in all study participants at the initial and final assessments., Results: The initial and final assessment results were compared and showed a statistically significant decrease in cortisol concentration and an increase in testosterone concentration in the EG. However, no statistically significant differences in the measured variables were observed in the CG at the initial and final assessments. The authors did not report any statistically significant correlations between testosterone and cortisol concentrations and the BMI score in the EG and CG. Also, statistically significant correlations between testosterone and cortisol concentrations in the EG were not apparent., Conclusions: Determination of the concentration of testosterone and cortisol is a method that may help to objectify pelvic floor muscle training outcomes in elderly women with stress urinary incontinence., Competing Interests: The authors report no conflict of interest., (Copyright © 2019 Termedia.)
