[Italiano]: I disastri sono da sempre un tema fondamentale nella creazione artistica e nel linguaggio visivo, come confermano la diffusione e la persistenza di immagini che ritraggono lo scatenamento delle forze della natura e le loro conseguenze sulle città e sul paesaggio. In particolare, i vulcani, dispensatori di morte e desolazione ma anche di scene sublimi, hanno costantemente ispirato pittori e incisori, sollecitando inoltre la curiosità di chi intendeva comprendere come dalle viscere della terra potessero fuoriuscire fiamme, ceneri e pietre infuocate. All’inizio dell’età moderna il riattivarsi dei vulcani nell’area flegrea e vesuviana, dopo lunghi secoli di quiescenza, segnò l’inizio di un nuovo interesse dei lettori europei verso i fenomeni da essi prodotti. Avendo intuito che si aprivano nuovi spazi nel mercato editoriale, tanto locale quanto internazionale, molti librai-stampatori cominciarono a pubblicare una gran quantità di racconti, di trattati, di raccolte di versi e di immagini relativi alle eruzioni, che andavano a soddisfare i gusti e gli interessi di un variegato pubblico composto da naturalisti, archeologi, eruditi, da colti e ricchi viaggiatori che percorrevano la penisola italiana nel corso del loro grand tour, ma anche da più modesti curiosi. Su tale variegata produzione questo volume, scaturito dalla mostra Eruzioni di carta. This article focuses on the reception of natural disasters in Baroque lyric poetry and aims to show the proximity between prose and verse in Southern Italy’s literary output. Through the analysis of three poems from the second half of the 17th century and their comparison with a scientific “discourse” by Tommaso Cornelio –on a solar eclipse in 1652–, it is possible to reveal not only similarities in the narrative structure of these texts, but also the use of the same images and the same lexicon. This study, which allows us to delve further into the relationship between science and poetry during the 17th century, outlines a poetic product that was very widespread in the Spanish Viceroyalty of Naples: the poetry of disaster. The demonstration also underlines that the poetry of disasters is the fruit of Neapolitan scientifical knowledge, as well as the particular product of a territory frequently struck by natural disasters.

The article aims to shed light on disasters’ baroque poetry of Southern Italy. It compares the compositional structure and the language of three printed ‘reports’ on the Vesuvius eruption in 1631 (written by Cesare Braccini and Vincenzo Bove) with the ode Al Vesuvio per l’incendio rinovato by Girolamo Fontanella. Its purpose is to show the similarity between prose and poetry in describing the volcano’s action on the surrounding environment (identical narrative sequences, similar lexicon and the use of stereotyped figures), plus, to address the issue of a poetic witness. Besides an accurate analysis of the texts, the introduction of the Aristotelian theories on poetry, and contemporary baroque Poetics (as Giulio Cesare Cortese’s and Tommaso Campanella’s), will lead to a discourse on mimesis and verysimilitude. Moreover, it will be also useful for a clear interpretation of a kind of lyric poetry which seems to deal with the category of ‘reality’ more than that of ‘fictionality’., Il presente articolo mira a ‘gettare’ una luce sulla poesia barocca dei disastri nel Meridione d’Italia. Esso pone a confronto la struttura compositiva e il linguaggio di tre ‘relazioni’ sull’eruzione vesuviana del 1631 (ad opera di Cesare Braccini e di Vincenzo Bove) con l’ode di Girolamo Fontanella Al Vesuvio per l’incendio rinovato. L’obiettivo è mostrare la somiglianza tra prosa e poesia nella descrizione degli effetti del vulcano sull’ambiente circostante (sequenze narrative identiche, lessico comune e utilizzo di figure stereotipate) ed affrontare il problema di una ‘testimonianza’ poetica. Oltre a un’accurata analisi dei testi, una base teorica in materia di Poetica aristotelica, e di specifiche Poetiche barocche del Meridione italiano (quella di Giulio Cesare Cortese e quella di Tommaso Campanella), guiderà un discorso sui concetti di mimesis e di verisimiglianza, al fine di un corretto inquadramento di una tipologia lirica che sembra utilizzare i fatti di cronaca come materiale per l’ispirazione poetica.

The DAC Directive has been emended and integrated several times during the last few years, showing a gradual increase of the mandatory automatic exchange of relevant tax information both on the objective (by increasing the scope of the relevant information) and the subjective (by increasing the recipients of the obligation) side. Therefore scholars have firstly questioned the legal interests that the mandatory automatic exchange of relevant tax information is aimed to protect in the international tax context. Yet it is also of some interest questioning to what extent the protection of those interests can legitimate a duty of “disclosure” that goes beyond the relationship between a State and its constituents, covering a relationship between a citizen and a State to which he/she does not belong. Since, although the duty of information regards directly the State of belonging, its effect extends also towards different States and persons.

Questa tesi di dottorato indaga i tòpoi, i temi e i motivi della poesia secentesca sui disastri. Essa è una tipologia lirica che tematizza argomenti di norma non appartenenti al genere lirico: gli eventi catastrofici che hanno colpito il Meridione d’Italia. La ricerca si basa su un corpus di circa 200 testi datati tra il 1585 e il 1690, i quali presentano le seguenti caratteristiche: lessico disastroso, motivi legati alla catastrofe, riferimenti alle calamità del XVII secolo (l’eruzione vesuviana del 1631, l’epidemia di peste del 1656, etc.). L’obiettivo è rilevare l’esistenza di un tòpos della catastrofe nella lirica meridionale del XVII secolo, e trovare una base teorica a una poesia che contravviene alle norme su fictio e realtà dei teorici dell’ultimo Cinquecento.

Cooperation figured prominently in the Dutch construction industry’s agenda over the past years. In 2016, major clients, sector organizations and the relevant market parties officially committed to promote a culture based on good cooperation and healthy relationships by signing the "Market Vision" (De Marktvisie, 2016). This document illustrates the objectives, principles and necessary changes to achieve this ambition in 2020. However, according to the report of Rijkswaterstaat (2019), there have not been structural changes in cooperation within the supply chain where fighting relationships, self-interest and opportunistic behaviours still prevail. The unattractive risk-return profile, i.e. the ratio between the expected return and the amount of risk undertaken by contractors, of large projects in the civil engineering sector is considered to be a barrier that prevent this change. The current approach to risk management is one factor that contribute to decrease the risk-return ratio. According to the report of Rijkswaterstaat (2019), market parties have the impression that risks are not always allocated to the "natural owner". The natural owner is the party that has the knowledge, ability and financial capacity to manage a certain risk. Market parties have more or less consciously accepted risks under competitive pressure although Rijkswaterstaat argue that during the tendering process of large complex projects some risks are taken back based on the contractors’ argumentation. However, construction companies point out that the dialogue focus on limiting risks on the client’s side and they are not yet sufficiently stimulated to discuss their own risks. This research proposes risk sharing to fills the gaps of the current approach with the purpose of stimulating the development of cooperation.
