The article is devoted to evaluation of the possibility of usage BIM for existing buildings. While BIM processes are established for new buildings, the majority of existing buildings is not maintained, refurbished or deconstructed with BIM yet. However, it can play a significant role for better operation and maintenance and building facility management. Research in creating BIM for existing buildings has received growing attention in recent years. The objective of this paper is to explore potential opportunities and barriers in constructing BIM for existing buildings

The aim of the work is to assess the possibility of underground parking during the reconstruction of objects located in the historical part of St. Petersburg. Using theoretical research methods, an analysis of typical problems during reconstruction with the development of the underground space is carried out, widely used work production technologies are identified, and the experience gained from such construction in St. Petersburg is evaluated. The result of the study was the conclusion about the possibility of constructing in-depth and semi-in-depth parking lots, as well as the reconstruction of existing buildings with underground parking in the central historical part of the city. At the same time, a high probability of significant restrictions or even a ban on reconstruction was noted. In addition, under the constrained conditions of historical development, high-quality, thorough and systematic implementation and monitoring of repair and construction work by professional geotechnicians and builders is required.

Objective: To detect fibrinogen degradation products (FDP) in blood as a result of induced hyperfibrinolysis., Design: This in-vitro and in-vivo study compared the relationship between the plasma FDP levels, the rate of their production, the degree of fibrinolysis and the effect of protease inhibitors in primary hyperfibrinolysis conditions., Setting: Department of Medical Biochemistry, Kharkov General and Emergency Operational and Research Institute, Ukraine in collaboration with the Department of Biochemistry, University of Nairobi, Kenya., Subjects: Blood plasma of humans and rabbits., Intervention: Streptokinase was added to plasma of humans and rabbits to induce in vitro primary hyperfibrinolysis. Studies on the activity of plasmin by protamine degradation was conducted with this streptokinase treated plasma. The effect of natural protease inhibitors of rabbit fibrinolysis were also conducted by adding each inhibitor to the streptokinase treated blood plasma. A further study on FDP levels in experimental rabbits with primary hyperfibrinolysis, was conducted by giving the animals intramuscular injections of pantripin., Results: In vivo studies with rabbits show a correlation between the degree of fibronolysis and the inhibitory effect of natural inhibitors of fibrinolysis. Increased FDP levels were recorded following hyperfibrinolysis. Natural inhibitors of fibrinolysis decrease FDP levels in experimental samples., Conclusion: These results suggest the possibility of applying plasmin inhibitors during pathological conditions of hyperfibrinolysis.

A complex of enzymatic tests, characterizing the liver function and cellular cytolysis in patients with acute myocardial infarction of various severities (without complications and with various types of complications and outcomes) was used in examinations over the first week of the disease. Significant changes in five of the seven tested enzymes were found: aspartate aminotransferase, glutamate dehydrogenase, sorbitol dehydrogenase, cholinesterase, alanine aminotransferase, the degree and incidence of changes in their activities being the lowest in the patients with acute myocardial infarction without complications, higher in those with this condition with isolated complications, still higher in those with combined complications and a favorable outcome, and the highest in those with combined complications and a lethal outcome. Secondary hepatopathy in patients with acute myocardial infarction augments as the complications develop, particularly in arrhythmia, disordered conductivity, and combined complications. Measurements of glutamate dehydrogenase and sorbitol dehydrogenase are recommended starting from the first day of the disease, of cholinesterase from the third day of the disease for a dynamic monitoring of the liver status in order to timely detect and correct hepatopathy and assess the status of patients with complicated acute myocardial infarction.

Examinations of 98 healthy children and prepubertal and pubertal adolescents have revealed sex-related differences in blood plasma levels of beta-endorphin and methionine-enkephalin: the content of these peptides was higher in pubertal boys. Blood plasma leucin enkephalin content of boys and girls was virtually unchanged over the entire period of sexual maturation. Analysis of correlations helped detect the relationship between the examined peptides and the end product of catecholamine metabolism, vanilmandelic acid, and a negatively significant relationship between beta-endorphin and serotonin levels.

The activity of blood serum creatine kinase was studied in 37 cases with various degree of frostbites and in healthy individuals. The dynamic study of blood serum creatine kinase in frostbites cases during the first week allows for the differentiation between deep and superficial frostbites.

Serotonin in blood, in burnt skin and burn blister fluid was studied fluorimetrically in 90 patients during different periods of burn disease. Burn disease was found to be accompanied with a considerable reduction of serotonin level in patients' blood, its increased content in burnt skin and its appearance in the blisters fluid. There is a direct correlation between the burn gravity and the rate of serotonin level reduction in blood. The data obtained allow a suggestion that a decreased serotonin content in blood is related with its accumulation in burnt skin and appearance in the blister fluid.
